Abstract

In this paper we investigate the regularity properties of Schrödinger-type equations with the data in certain Morrey spaces. Under some assumptions, we obtain that if the data is not in certain Morrey space, then the solution is also not in certain Morrey spaces. Hence, if the data which acts on the system does not balance local regularity and global decay, then the solution does not either.

Abstract

Abstract

The development of digital technology in education has opened new opportunities for innovation in mathematics learning, particularly in geometry, which demands high spatial visualization skills. One rapidly developing innovation is Augmented Reality (AR), a technology that interactively combines real-world and virtual elements. This article is a systematic literature review that aims to examine the trends, effectiveness, and challenges of AR integration in geometry learning. Data were obtained from articles indexed in Scopus, Sinta, and Google Scholar, which were then analyzed thematically based on the research focus, empirical results, and their contribution to mathematics learning. The results of the study indicate that the application of AR can improve spatial ability, conceptual understanding, as well as student engagement and motivation in learning. Applications such as GeoGebra AR and 3D AR Escape Room have proven effective in supporting the visualization of geometric concepts and connecting theory to real-world contexts. However, the success of AR implementation is still influenced by factors such as device availability, teacher digital literacy, and pedagogical design that are not yet fully integrated. This study recommends the development of more adaptive and contextual AR-based learning models, as well as further research regarding the long-term impact of AR on higher-order geometric thinking skills.

Abstract

Problem-solving skills is a fundamental cognitive competency in mathematics learning at higher education. This study aims to analyze the effect of problem-solving ability on students' mathematics learning outcomes. The research employed a quantitative approach with ex post facto design involving 29 science education students enrolled in basic mathematics courses. Problem-solving ability was measured using an instrument based on Polya's four indicators (understanding the problem, devising a plan, carrying out the plan, and looking back), while learning outcomes were assessed through achievement tests on basic mathematics content. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression technique. The results showed that problem-solving ability has a significant effect on mathematics learning outcomes with t-value of 4.277 > t-table 2.059 at significance level of 0.05. The regression equation obtained was Y = 3.873 + 1.258X with coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.953, indicating that 95.3% of the variance in mathematics learning outcomes can be explained by problem-solving ability. These findings confirm that problem-solving ability is a primary determinant of students' academic achievement in mathematics and imply the necessity of transforming learning approaches from procedural methods toward problem-solving-based instruction.

Abstract

Monkeypox disease is an infectious disease that can infect susceptible individuals through direct or indirect interaction with infected individuals and animals infected with the Monkeypox virus. mathematical modeling is a research approach that can be used in the control of infectious disease spread by modeling the disease's transmission dynamics. Several studies have been conducted to develop mathematical models that interpret the spread dynamics of Monkeypox disease, based on the assumptions of each respective model. In this study, five research papers were selected based on inclusion criteria that cover the research question, design type, methods, results, and constraints in each study. Furthermore, this study is a literature review conducted to observe the extent to which these mathematical models provide solutions for controlling Monkeypox disease so that it does not become endemic in the future. The results indicate that controlling the spread of the disease can be achieved by applying treatment to the interaction parameters .

Abstract

Food security remains a serious challenge in Indonesia, marked by high disparities among regencies/ cities, including in Kalimantan Island. This study aims to identify disparities and spatial patterns in the prevalence of food consumption inadequacy in Kalimantan Island in 2024, test for spatial autocorrelation, and identify regional clusters based on prevalence characteristics. The methods used were exploratory and inferential spatial analysis, including the measurement of global spatial autocorrelation using Moran's I and the identification of local clusters using LISA (Local Indicators of Spatial Association). The results reveal significant positive spatial autocorrelation (global Moran's I = 0.64), with “High-High” clusters concentrated in West Kalimantan and North Kalimantan, and “Low-Low” clusters in South Kalimantan. These findings imply the necessity for cluster-based and context-specific policy approaches to effectively enhance food security.

Abstract

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in mathematics learning has continued to grow alongside the rapid digitalization of the education sector. This study aims to analyze the impact of AI utilization on high school students’ understanding of mathematical concepts. The research problem focuses on how the use of AI affects students’ conceptual understanding in mathematics. The method employed is descriptive qualitative research, with data collected through semi-structured interviews, concept-understanding tests, and relevant literature studies. The findings indicate that AI provides positive impacts such as personalized learning, instant feedback, increased motivation, and flexible access to learning resources. Students reported that AI-based systems helped them better comprehend mathematical concepts through adaptive explanations and visualization features. However, the study also identifies negative impacts, including excessive dependence on technology, reduced opportunities for students to learn from mistakes, and a decline in critical thinking skills when solutions are provided instantly by AI. A comparison of learning experiences shows that although AI enhances learning efficiency, conventional methods remain superior in supporting social interaction and group discussion. These findings emphasize that the successful use of AI in mathematics learning heavily depends on balanced implementation strategies and strong pedagogical support from teachers. With proper application, AI can serve as an effective tool to deepen and enrich students’ understanding of mathematical concepts.
