<![CDATA[This research aims to analyse the application of Maqasid Shari'ah principles in the services of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) in Makassar City and its impact on customer satisfaction. This research uses a qualitative approach with normative juridical, normative theological (shar'i), and sociological methods. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation with BSI and customers, as well as secondary data from related literature. The research findings show that BSI is committed to implementing maqasid shari'ah through services that prioritise the benefit, social justice and welfare of the people, such as the shari'ah education financing programme and worship services. Despite challenges related to the public's understanding of shariah banking, the majority of customers are satisfied with services that comply with shariah principles, despite complaints about mobile applications and ATM access. The implication of this study is the need for further development in customer education and improvement of service facilities to further optimise the implementation of maqasid shari'ah, as well as providing insights for shari'ah financial institutions in improving services that are more equitable and in accordance with Islamic principles.]]>

<![CDATA[Elementary education plays a pivotal role in shaping students’ cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development. Among the essential 21st-century skills, numeracy literacy is crucial for enabling students to interpret and utilize quantitative information in real-life contexts. Despite its importance, international assessments such as PISA indicate that Indonesian students’ numeracy skills remain low. This study aims to explore the role of teachers as facilitators in promoting numeracy literacy through mathematics instruction in lower elementary grades (grades I–III) at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis at MIS Wonoyoso, involving three teachers with over three years of experience. The findings reveal that although lesson planning aligns with the curriculum, it remains focused on procedural skills and lacks contextual and conceptual depth needed for numeracy development. Teachers demonstrated limited understanding of numeracy as a broader cognitive ability beyond basic arithmetic. Challenges identified include time constraints, lack of resources, and limited professional training. The study concludes that to effectively function as facilitators of numeracy literacy, teachers need continuous professional development, contextual teaching strategies, and collaborative platforms to reflect on and enhance numeracy-focused instruction. Strengthening these areas is essential for fostering students' logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities from early education.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to (1) determine the feasibility of Audio Visual-based learning media in the subject of Basic Automotive Engineering Works (PDTO) at SMK Negeri 8 Purworejo, (2) to determine the increase in learning interest of class X TBSM students at SMK Negeri 8 Purworejo after using Audio Visual-based learning media. The data collection technique in this study was by distributing questionnaires. This study used the Research and Development (R & D) method with the research subjects taken being class X TBSM students at SMK Negeri 8 Purworejo totaling 36 students. The results showed a difference in learning interest in students at SMK Negeri 8 Purworejo between classes that did not use audio visual media and classes that used audio visual media for the subject of Basic Automotive Engineering Works (PDTO), namely a percentage of 73.33 was obtained and in the second data collection or research using audio visual learning media, a percentage of 86.38 was obtained, there was a significant increase of 13.05. From the increase in learning interest, it can be concluded that using audio-visual learning media can increase students' learning interest, especially in the subject of Basic Automotive Engineering Work, basic competency of mechanical measuring instruments.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to examine the legal implications of court decisions that have obtained permanent legal force (inkracht) on the validity of changes to birth certificate data. Amendments to civil documents such as birth certificates do not merely involve administrative issues but also directly affect an individual’s legal status. In practice, many people face obstacles when seeking data corrections, especially when discrepancies arise between existing data and supporting documents. This research employs a normative juridical approach by analyzing laws and regulations, legal doctrines, and a case study of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia Decision No. 587 K/Pdt/2021 as the primary focus. The analysis centers on the legal reasoning adopted by the panel of judges in granting the request for data correction, and how the decision binds the civil registration authority to execute the ordered amendment. The findings reveal that a court decision with permanent legal standing serves as a crucial legal instrument to ensure the validity and legality of population data changes. Moreover, this legal mechanism reinforces civil protection within the national administrative framework. The study also recommends enhancing coordination between judicial institutions and civil registry offices to streamline data correction procedures and prevent legal uncertainty. In this regard, the study provides an academic contribution to the development of administrative law and the protection of citizens' legal rights.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to describe the types of sarcasm found in the comment section of the TikTok account @vadelbadjideh, the types of posts that receive the most sarcastic comments, and the illocutionary speech acts contained in those comments. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, employing documentation techniques by capturing screenshots of comments from the most viewed video posts. The data were analyzed using a pragmatic approach based on Charles Morris’s theory and classified according to Elizabeth Camp’s sarcasm types and Searle’s speech act categories. The results show that lexical sarcasm is the most commonly used form by netizens, followed by propositional sarcasm, sarcasm with the word "like," and illocutionary sarcasm. Viral and controversial posts—such as videos featuring unique movements or connections to public issues—attract the highest number of sarcastic responses. The most frequent illocutionary acts found are assertive and expressive types, indicating that social media users employ sarcasm to express opinions and emotions. This research contributes to understanding the dynamics of digital communication and the role of sarcasm in shaping social interactions on social media platforms.]]>

<![CDATA[This article analyzes the short story “Robohnya Surau Kami” by A.A. Navis using the pragmatic literary criticism approach technique. This research is based on the knowledge that literary works function as a means of communication that provides moral, educational, and social messages to readers in addition to being a means of creative expression. The pragmatic approach examines the extent to which short stories can offer educational benefits and values by focusing on the role of the reader in receiving and evaluating literary works. By analyzing the basic components of short stories and their application in the social context of society, this study uses an analytical descriptive method. The findings of this study are expected to help readers to understand the role of pragmatics in literary criticism and advance the study of Indonesian literature, especially in recognizing literary works as windows to social reality and teaching tools for moral principles. Moreover, by emphasizing the importance of balance between ritual worship and social responsibility, the analysis shows that this short story offers a sharp moral critique, especially in the religious and social realms. Therefore, the work serves as entertainment and a relevant social mirror to teach readers life lessons and improve their quality.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to explore the protection mechanisms for victims of sexual violence in Islamic boarding schools, with a special focus on the tragic case that occurred at the Yayasan Manarul Huda Islamic Boarding School in Bandung. Between 2016 and 2021, 13 female students were victims of sexual violence by the boarding school owner, and nine of them gave birth to children. This case highlights the weakness of the protection system in Islamic boarding schools and the imbalance in power relations between kyai and students. This study uses a qualitative approach through a literature study method to analyze legal documents, journals, and relevant reports related to child protection and sexual violence in religious educational institutions. The results of the study indicate that the main factors that exacerbate the situation are the lack of a safe reporting mechanism, the lack of technical regulations governing child protection in Islamic boarding schools, and a patriarchal culture that silences the voices of victims. This study also found the importance of the involvement of families, communities, and state institutions in building a preventive, responsive, and curative child protection system. Recommendations include the formation of internal policies in Islamic boarding schools, the establishment of a child protection task force, and active cooperation with external institutions such as the Ministry of Religion and the Indonesian Child Protection Commission. A confidential reporting system and regular training are needed for all parties in the Islamic boarding school to create a safe and dignified learning environment.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze: (1) the forms of social interaction among the elderly at the "Gau Mabaji" Center in Romangloe Village, Bontomarannu District, Gowa Regency; (2) the forms of interaction between the elderly and caregivers/staff at the same center; and (3) the impacts of such social interactions on the elderly. This is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach. The research involved eight informants, consisting of four elderly individuals aged over 70 and four social workers. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, with data validity ensured through triangulation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.The results of the study show that: (1) social interaction among the elderly tends to be simple and falls into two categories: associative and dissociative, influenced by similarities in age, life experiences, and emotional needs; (2) interactions between the elderly and caregivers are more complex due to differing social roles, leading to various forms of interaction ranging from cooperation to conflict, depending on emotional, professional, and interpersonal communication factors; and (3) social interactions have both positive and negative impacts on the elderly.]]>

<![CDATA[The Purpose of this study is to analyze the revocation of Land Use Permits (IPT) which have expired and the release of Surabaya City regional assets in the form of IPT. Method of research used in this article is normative legal research using a conceptual approach and a case approach. Based on this research, the following conclusions can be formulated: (1) IPT is a special product released by Surabaya Government through KTUN, so that the Government has the authority to revoke IPT if it does not comply with its intended use, either by providing compensation or without compensation and; (2) IPT as an asset of the city Government can be released by paying a certain amount of compensation with a land release agreement which is regulated in Perwali Surabaya 51/2015.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the revitalization of kitab kuning (classical Islamic texts) education in the era of globalization by emphasizing the integration of media and information literacy into the pesantren curriculum. As a legacy of classical Islamic scholarship, kitab kuning plays a central role in shaping character, strengthening Islamic understanding, and developing students’ critical reasoning. However, amidst the rapid growth of digital media, the teaching of kitab kuning faces serious challenges in terms of relevance and appeal. Using a qualitative approach through observation, in-depth interviews with pesantren leaders, teachers, and curriculum staff, as well as documentation of social media content at Pesantren Babussalam in Aceh Singkil, this study found that the strategic use of platforms such as TikTok and Instagram by teachers and students can offer a more contextual and engaging learning method that aligns with the learning styles of the digital generation. This technological integration not only enhances comprehension of classical texts but also equips students with digital literacy, 21st-century skills, and critical awareness in using media responsibly. Therefore, media literacy serves as a strategic instrument to preserve the relevance of kitab kuning while ensuring that pesantren remain adaptive to modern changes without losing their traditional roots.]]>
