Abstract

The researcher selected PT. Arista Auto Lestari Medan as the object of study due to a decline in employee performance within the company. Performance is the output of employees working within the company, which significantly impacts the company's ability to achieve its goals. The decline in employee performance is attributed to workload and work pressure, which cause employees to experience stress and depression in meeting the targets demanded by the company. Additionally, the lack of incentives for employees who nearly reach the targets set by the company leads to decreased morale, further contributing to the decline in employee performance. The research method used by the researcher is a quantitative approach, with the type of research being descriptive quantitative. The population consists of all 78 employees, and the sample includes the entire workforce. The results of the hypothesis testing indicate that work stress and incentives have a significant simultaneous and partial effect on employee performance, with a coefficient of determination value of 0.427, indicating that work stress and incentives affect employee performance by 42.70%. The remaining 57.30% is influenced by other factors not studied, such as leadership, physical work environment, and work discipline

Abstract

This study discusses the effect of competence and compensation on the performance of employees of PT. BPR Nusantara Bona Pasogit 17. Employees of PT. BPR Nusantara Bona Pasogit 17 has a total population of 84 people and the sample of this study was taken with a saturated sample technique of 84 people. Data collection in this research is by questionnaire, interview and documentation. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis models. The results showed a comparison of positive and significant competencies on employee performance > ftabel (6,027 > 3.11) with a significant level (0,000 < 0.01). Partially, positive and significant percentage of job satisfaction, tcount > ttable (2.333 > 1.663) and significant value (0.022 > 0.01). Partially positive and significant communication on employee performance tcount > ttable (3.471 > 1.663) and a significant value of 0.001 < 0.01

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand and analyze the influence of brand image and product design on the purchasing decisions of Bata Shoes products in Medan, both partially and simultaneously. The population for this study consists of the average customers of Bata Shoes at Ringroad Medan. The sampling method used is Accidental Sampling, a technique where the sample is determined based on chance encounters. The author selected a sample of 120 customers of Bata Shoes Ringroad. The study results indicate a positive and significant influence of brand image on the purchasing decisions of Bata Shoes products, as evidenced by a t-value of 4.897, which is greater than the critical t-value of 1.980 (p-value = 0.000), where the significance level is less than α = 0.05. Similarly, there is a positive and significant influence of product design on purchasing decisions, with a t-value of 4.619, also greater than the critical t-value of 1.980 (p-value = 0.000), where the significance level is less than α = 0.05. Simultaneously, it was found that there is a positive and significant influence of both brand image and product design on the purchasing decisions of Bata Shoes products, as indicated by an F-value of 35.656, which is greater than the critical F-value of 3.07, with a p-value of 0.000, which is less than α = 0.05. Based on the coefficient of determination test, the R² value is 0.379, meaning that 37.9% of the factors affecting purchasing decisions can be explained by brand image and product design, while the remaining 62.1% can be attributed to other factors not examined in this study

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that the concept of poverty in Indonesia has developed over time. Likewise, the existence of a distinction or difference in principle between the government and sharia regarding the nomenclature of the poor and needy requires all parties to reformulate the concept of poverty. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method. While this type of research is a type of library research. This research was conducted by collecting library data without being followed by empirical testing. While the approach to this research uses a normative socio-economic approach, where this paper seeks the essence of each value of Islamic teachings to then be transformed into forms of socio-economic activities. The results of this study are that the clear distinction between the government and Islam can be mediated by the role of 'urf and 'adah to then find a clear synchronization point regarding poverty in Indonesia according to the Islamic perspective. The goal, first, is that these findings can be projected as a basis for formulating standardization of mustahiq zakat, especially the poor in Indonesia. Second, the terminology of the poor and needy who are included in the asnaf ats-tsamaniyah group of zakat recipients can be translated and interpreted contextually according to the economic situation and conditions in Indonesia based on real data on poverty conditions in Indonesia. Third, the large potential of zakat in Indonesia can be utilized by the government as an economic empowerment program based on zakat and based on the welfare of the community for the poor and needy in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how Tbk's financial performance is calculated using a cash flow statement. Field research, which involves observation, interviews, and library research involving the study of relevant literature, is the methodology employed in this study. Descriptive analysis, which explains the cash flow ratio as the foundation for the evaluation of financial performance, is the method used in this study. The study's findings demonstrate that, overall, the company's cash flow operating ratios are fairly good for each cash flow ratio, with the exception of the cash flow to total debt ratio, which has a low enough ratio to suggest that the company will not be able to pay off its debt with cash flow from operations.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of liquidity, profitability, and leverage on the value of mining companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. Additionally, it seeks to investigate how dividend policy moderates this relationship. The original research sample comprised 62 organizations, however, after implementing the given criteria, only 16 companies met the requirements. The study employed secondary data and applied purposive sampling procedures for selecting the sample. The data analysis employed multiple linear regression models and moderation tests. The research findings suggest that liquidity has a somewhat detrimental and statistically insignificant effect on a company's worth. The profitability of a corporation has a somewhat positive and significant effect on its value, while leverage has a moderately negative and minor effect. The variables of liquidity, profitability, and leverage have a significant influence on the value of a company. The moderation study reveals that the dividend policy lacks the capacity to moderate the influence of liquidity on the firm's value. The dividend policy has the capacity to reduce the influence of profitability and leverage on the firm's value. The Adjusted R-Square value of 21.2% suggests that the company's value is influenced by the combined effects of liquidity, profitability, and leverage. Nevertheless, it is crucial to acknowledge that 79.8% of the company's worth is impacted by additional factors that were not taken into account in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of operations on financial performance based on Return on Asset (ROA) PT. Bank Pembangunan Daerah Sumatera Utara. In this study, there are several variables, namely operational costs consisting of sales costs (X1) administrative and general costs (X2), and financial performance based on ROA (Y). The research method used is descriptive quantitative analysis method. The sample in this research is financial statement data, income statement data, and operational budget which is obtained from PT. Bank Pembangunan Daerah Sumatera Utara from 2017 to 2019. The type of data used in this study is secondary data, the technique and data used are documentation. From the research results it is known that the operation has an effect on the operating profit obtained by PT. Bank Pembangunan Daerah Sumatera Utara, due to operational costs incurred by PT. Bank Pembangunan Daerah Sumatera Utara has fluctuated, causing the financial performance of PT. Bank Pembangunan Daerah Sumatera Utara also experienced fluctuations. It is known that NPM, TATO and ROA also fluctuate every year. Thus, to overcome this, the company management must be able to make the right and planned decisions in controlling costs so that the company's problems can be resolved

Abstract

To determine the financial performance of a company, an assessment needs to be carried out. In this research, an assessment was carried out using liquidity, activity, profitability and solvency ratios. By calculating using these ratios, the public can find out whether a company's finances are healthy or not, so that the public can consider whether they want to buy shares in a company. This research aims to examine the influence of company finances before and after Go-Public on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI). The population in this study was 20 companies. The sample for this study used purposive sampling and a sample of 5 companies was obtained. The sample collection technique uses a purposive sampling method, namely taking research samples by paying attention to certain criteria based on the research objectives. Data analysis used multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. The results of research on the liquidity ratio show a significance rate of 1.146, where this value is greater than the probability limit of 0.05. This shows that there is a significant decline in the liquidity ratio for the 2 years before and 2 years after going public. This happens because the company receives additional funds from the public, but these funds are not used to fulfill the company's short-term financial obligations so they cannot reduce the debts the company bears

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Profitability, Leverage and company size on earnings management in manufacturing companies in the Chemical Materials Sub-Sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2019-2021. The population in this study were 34 Chemical Materials Industry companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2019-2021. This study used purposive sampling and obtained a sample of 12 companies. The sample collection technique used the purposive sampling method, namely taking research samples by considering several specific criteria based on the research objectives. Data analysis used multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. The results of the determination coefficient test showed that the Adjusted R2 value obtained was 0.469, which came from squaring the correlation coefficient value "R", which is 0.709 x 0.709 = 0.503. The magnitude of the determination coefficient (R Square) is 0.503 or equal to 50.3%. The figure means that the ROE, DER, and Size variables simultaneously (together) influence the Profit Management variable of Chemical companies listed on the IDX in 2019-2021

Abstract

This study aims to gain an in-depth understanding and provide empirical evidence regarding the influence of work discipline and job promotion on job satisfaction and their impact on employee performance. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach, with statistical analysis and regression analysis as the methods employed. The study is designed as a survey researchs with a sample size of 100 employees from PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (Persero) in Medan. The results of the study indicate that work discipline partially affects the performance of employees at PT Permodalan Madani Persero. Job promotion also affects employee performance, and work discipline and job promotion simultaneously influence the performance of employees at PT Permodalan Madani Persero
