Abstract

Understanding of accounting has an important meaning both for students and for universities. The purpose of this research is to determine the direct and indirect effect of competency variables and teaching style on accounting understanding through motivation. This type of research is classified as a cause-and-effect research where this research was conducted at STIE Mahkota Tricom Unggul. As for the target population and sample in this study, they are active in the 2019-2020 school year, amounting to 112 people. Where the sampling technique is quota sampling. Where the sample in this study amounted to 112 respondents. Furthermore, the data collection technique used a questionnaire which was distributed to all samples. The questionnaire measurement scale uses the Likert scale. The results showed that competency had a positive and significant effect on motivation. Teaching style has a positive and significant effect on motivation. Competence has a positive and significant effect on accounting understanding. Teaching style has no effect on students' accounting understanding at STIE Mahkota Tricom Unggul. Motivation has a positive and significant effect on student accounting understanding at STIE Mahkota Tricom Unggul. Motivation has no role in mediating competence in accounting understanding. However, motivation has a role in mediating the teaching style of accounting understanding.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the role of facilities on accounting understanding through motivation as an intervening variable. The research method is quantitative. The population and samples came from active students as many as 112 respondents. The sampling technique used was quota sampling. The results showed that the facilities indirectly affected students' accounting understanding through motivation at STIE Mahkota Tricom Unggul. This means that motivation has a role in mediating facilities on accounting understanding.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh stres kerja terhadap keinginan perawat untuk berhenti bekerja di Rumah Sakit Columbia Asia Medan. Untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap keinginan perawat untuk berhenti bekerja di Rumah Sakit Columbia Asia Medan. Untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh stres kerja dan lingkungan kerja terhadap Keinginan perawat untuk berhenti bekerja di Rumah Sakit Columbia Asia Medan. Pendekatan penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan asosiatif dan kuantitatif. Adapun yang menjadi populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perawat yang ada di Rumah Sakit Columbia Asia Medan yang berjumlah 366 orang. Penentuan jumlah sampel yang diambil sebagai responden dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin, Dengan demikian sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 79 orang perawat pada Rumah Sakit Columbia Asia Medan. Hasil penelitian membuktikan stres kerja berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap keinginan perawat untuk berhenti bekerja (turnover intention) Rumah Sakit Columbia Asia Medan, yang ditunjukkan oleh hasil thitung sebesar 2,983 < ttabel 1,994 (sig 0,004) dimana signifikan t lebih kecil dari a = 0,05). Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap keinginan perawat untuk berhenti bekerja (turnover intention) Rumah Sakit Columbia Asia Medan, yang ditunjukkan oleh hasil thitung sebesar 2,235 < ttabel 1,994 (sig 0,028), dimana signifikan t lebih kecil dari a = 0,05. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyse the effect of motivation, job satisfaction and leadership style on teacher performance at Yayasan Perguruan Budi Mulia. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey method involving 35 teachers as respondents. The data was analysed using multiple linear regression to determine the relationship between these variables. The results showed that motivation has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, this can be seen from the motivation number (0.005) which is smaller than the 5% alpha (0.05) ortcount = 3.001> ttable 2.039. The research results of the job satisfaction variable have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, judging from the number, namely the job satisfaction variable (0.014) is smaller than alpha 5% (0.05) ortcount = 2.594 > ttable 2.039, and leadership style shows a positive and significant influence on teacher performance, this can be seen from the number of leadership style variables (0.000) is smaller than alpha 5% (0.05) ortcount = 7.076 > ttable 2.039. This finding indicates that increasing motivation, job satisfaction and appropriate leadership style can improve teacher performance. Then the output results obtained from the coefficient of determination (adjusted R Square) are 0.694. So it can be seen that there is an influence of motivation variables, job satisfaction and leadership style on teacher performance by 69.4% and is influenced by other factors that affect teacher performance by 30.6%.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to partially test and analyze the influence of each variable Company Size, Leverage and Profitability on stock prices (2) To test and analyze the influence of Company Size, Leverage and Profitability simultaneously on Stock Prices. This type of research is causal quantitative research, the data source used is secondary data. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression. Data collection methods consist of library studies and documentation. As well as the sampling technique using the Purposive Sampling method with research data from 30 Property and Real Estate companies listed on the IDX as the population and 18 companies as the sample. The t test results show that partially, Company Size (L.N.T.ASSETS) has a negative and significant effect, Leverage (DER) has a positive and significant effect, Profitability (ROA) has a negative and insignificant effect on share prices listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results of the f test show that Company Size (L.N.T.ASSETS), Leverage (DER), Profitability (ROA) simultaneously have a significant effect on Share Prices (PER) listed on the Stock Exchange in Indonesia.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve financial literacy among junior high school students through training in saving habits and personal financial planning. Targeting students at SMP Hang Tuah Medan, the program introduces basic financial concepts such as budgeting, distinguishing needs from wants, setting financial goals, and managing allowances. The method used combines interactive workshops, simulations, and group discussions to foster a fun and engaging learning experience. Through this initiative, students are expected to develop awareness of financial responsibility from an early age and apply simple financial management practices in their daily lives. The program also supports the development of life skills and contributes to character education by promoting discipline, self-control, and decision-making. The outcome of the activity indicates a significant improvement in students’ understanding and attitudes toward money management. This initiative highlights the importance of integrating financial literacy education into the school environment to build a financially literate generation

Abstract

Purchase decision-making is a critical aspect of consumer behavior that involves evaluating the quality of products or services offered. This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality on consumer purchase decisions at Hani Salon, a beauty salon located in Medan, Indonesia. As product variety increases in the market, consumers have become more selective, prioritizing service quality in their choices. A quantitative research approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires and interviews. The findings reveal that product quality has a positive and significant impact on purchase decisions, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 90.2%. These results suggest that enhancing product quality at Hani Salon can significantly drive consumer purchase decisions and offer strategic insights for improving customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Abstract

This study is aimed at equipping the fishing community in Bagan Deli Village with knowledge regarding digital marketing strategies for fish processing businesses, focused on elevating their economic welfare. As a community fundamentally reliant upon natural resources, the people face additional challenges accessing wider markets. This community service activity comprises theoretical and practical training on marketing fish processing products through digital platforms, such as social media and e-commerce. The method includes preparation, cooperative training, and practical demonstrations. The results suggest an increase in awareness and skill in the area of digital marketing among participants, encouraging interdependence and creativity in the application of technology. This initiative aims for sustainable development through a continuous process of mentoring and monitoring.

Abstract

Employees are assets for the company in realizing the company's targets. Job satisfaction makes it easier for a leader to direct his subordinates. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of both simultaneously and partially career development and leadership variables on job satisfaction at PT. Main Traglopindo. The approach in this research is associative. The population in this study are employees at PT. Traglopindo Utama totaled 73 respondents. While the sampling technique using quota sampling. Collecting data using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The results showed that simultaneously career development and leadership had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction at PT. Main Traglopindo.

Abstract

This study discusses the effect of competence and compensation on the performance of employees of PT. BPR Nusantara Bona Pasogit 17. Employees of PT. BPR Nusantara Bona Pasogit 17 has a total population of 84 people and the sample of this study was taken with a saturated sample technique of 84 people. Data collection in this research is by questionnaire, interview and documentation. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis models. The results showed a comparison of positive and significant competencies on employee performance > ftabel (6,027 > 3.11) with a significant level (0,000 < 0.01). Partially, positive and significant percentage of job satisfaction, tcount > ttable (2.333 > 1.663) and significant value (0.022 > 0.01). Partially positive and significant communication on employee performance tcount > ttable (3.471 > 1.663) and a significant value of 0.001 < 0.01
