Abstract

This study explores the application of digital marketing strategies as a means to enhance the competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in rural areas, particularly in light of the challenges posed by shifting market dynamics during the COVID-19 pandemic. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative approach, this research analyzes data derived from an extensive review of academic literature, including journals, articles, and relevant research reports, to identify best practices and provide a comprehensive overview of the utilization of social media and online marketplaces in marketing MSME products.The findings indicate that digital marketing serves a critical role in expanding market reach, fostering customer interactions, and optimizing business processes for MSMEs. However, the implementation of these strategies continues to face significant obstacles, such as low digital literacy among entrepreneurs, limited access to technology, and increasingly intense competition within the digital space. To address these challenges, the study recommends the development of targeted training programs and supportive policies that promote the digitalization of MSMEs, thus enhancing their long-term competitive viability.The insights derived from this research are expected to offer valuable guidance for MSME practitioners and policymakers as they navigate the path toward inclusive and sustainable digital transformation, ultimately contributing to robust economic growth and resilience in rural communities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of brand image, product quality, and purchase intention on purchasing decisions for AQUA brand bottled drinking water. This study adopts a causal approach to explanatory research, namely research that aims to provide an explanation in the form of a causal relationship between several concepts or several variables or management strategies that are developed. The data collection method in this study used a questionnaire. The sampling technique was carried out using non-probability random with a purposive sampling approach. The sample used in this study was 100 respondents. The data analysis technique in this study used SmartPLS3. The results of this study indicate that brand image does not have a significant effect on purchasing decisions, product quality does not have a significant effect on purchasing decisions, brand image does not have a significant effect on purchasing interest, product quality has a significant effect on purchasing interest, purchasing interest has a significant effect on purchasing decisions, brand image does not have a significant effect on purchasing decisions through purchasing interest, product quality has a significant effect on purchasing decisions through purchasing interest.

Abstract

The Smart City concept is viewed as an innovative answer to the urgent need for sustainable urban environment management. In this context, the city of Bandar Lampung, which is one of the developing cities in Indonesia, has begun to integrate various technologies with the primary goal of increasing efficiency in environmental management. This research specifically focuses on an in-depth analysis of the implementation of the Smart City concept in the context of environmental management in the city of Bandar Lampung. In addition, this research also aims to identify the challenges that may arise during the implementation process, as well as the opportunities that can be utilized to optimize these efforts. The research method applied in this study is a case study with a qualitative approach, which involves the use of a comprehensive set of data collection techniques. These techniques include direct field observations to obtain an in-depth understanding of real field conditions, in-depth interviews with relevant stakeholders to gain diverse perspectives, and analysis of relevant policy documents that serve as the theoretical basis and implementation framework. The results of this study reveal that the implementation of Smart City-based technology in Bandar Lampung has begun to be implemented in various sectors. These sectors include digital-based waste management to improve efficiency in waste collection and recycling, real-time air quality monitoring systems to control pollution levels, and environmental reporting applications that enable active public participation in maintaining environmental cleanliness and health.

Abstract

The concept of green banking is increasingly finding its relevance in the fast-paced digital era, especially through e-business platforms operating in the market. This study aims to understand how users, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders perceive and interact with green banking practices in this digital context. The acceptance of green banking through e-business platforms offers various benefits, such as wider reach, cost efficiency, improved customer experience, better image, product innovation, and potential for new market growth. However, there are also challenges that need to be addressed, including digital security and trust issues, the digital divide, lack of green financial literacy, complexity of system integration, lack of standardization and regulation, and the risk of greenwashing. Therefore, this study will focus on the ease and complexity of implementing green banking in the digital era, especially in its integration into the market through e-business platforms. Furthermore, this study will also highlight existing and potential issues, such as limited consumer awareness, inadequate infrastructure, and challenges in implementing sustainable banking practices into the digital market system. By analyzing the perceptions and experiences of various parties, this study is expected to provide a comprehensive understanding of green banking practices in the digital market.

Abstract

Jember Regency is one of the strategic regions in East Java with significant potential in agriculture, tourism, and education. However, challenges such as development inequality, infrastructure gaps, and underutilized local resources remain major obstacles. This article explores the transformation of the Jember region through an integrated approach involving community participation, sustainable spatial planning, and the strengthening of local economic sectors. The objective is to unify scattered potentials into a collective force that drives inclusive and sustainable development. By identifying key challenges and strategic opportunities, this article offers policy recommendations and implementation steps to realize tangible changes in the Jember region. Regional transformation does not only focus on physical aspects, but also emphasizes the development of human resources and strengthening local institutions. Innovation in the management of the agricultural sector, the development of tourist destinations based on local wisdom, and improving the quality of education are important pillars in the regional development strategy. A collaborative approach between the government, private sector, academics, and the community is expected to create synergy that encourages equitable economic growth. Through the integration of cross-sector policies and a data-based approach, the development of the Jember region can be directed towards a transformation that is equitable, adaptive, and sustainable. Policies are needed that are not only reactive, but also proactive, in responding to global dynamics and local needs. The implementation of appropriate technology and the digitalization of public services are also important parts in increasing the efficiency and affordability of development.

Abstract

Amid increasingly alarming global warming issues, environmental degradation is not only an ecological concern but also involves economic and social aspects. The banking sector, particularly Islamic banking, holds significant potential to contribute to promoting sustainable and environmentally friendly practices. One concrete effort that can be made is through the implementation of the Green Banking concept. This concept integrates sustainability principles into every aspect of banking operations. The implementation of greener banking practices not only has a positive impact on environmental preservation but also offers advantages in terms of greater operational efficiency, reduced operational costs, and the strengthening of the bank's positive image in the eyes of customers. This study aims to analyze the role of Green Banking as a supporting factor in enhancing customer loyalty, particularly in the Islamic banking industry sector. The study is conducted using a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The results of this research are expected to serve as recommendations for the banking sector in developing strategies to enhance customer loyalty through Green Banking indicators.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven the transformation of Islamic banking, where e-business and e-commerce have become the main strategies in increasing marketing competitiveness. E-business integrates technology into bank operations, increases service efficiency, expands customer reach, and creates a more competitive banking ecosystem. In marketing, data-based digital strategies enable more specific customer segmentation and increase customer engagement. Meanwhile, e-commerce facilitates digital services such as mobile banking, online payments, and technology-based Islamic financing, which increase transparency and transaction security. Other advantages include expanding market reach, support for MSMEs, and the use of blockchain technology, smart contracts, AI, and big data analytics in increasing efficiency and personalization of services. However, challenges such as uneven digital infrastructure, low digital literacy, and evolving regulations need to be overcome. However, Islamic-based fintech and digital payment innovations open up great opportunities for Islamic banks to continue to grow and compete globally. Therefore, adaptive strategies and collaboration with the technology industry are needed to strengthen the competitiveness of Islamic banks.

Abstract

Jember Regency is one of the agricultural regions that plays a significant role in the economy of East Java. With agriculture being the dominant sector in the livelihood structure of its population, agriculture in Jember not only serves as a source of income but also determines the social and economic dynamics of the region. This article delves deeply into how agricultural activities, from upstream to downstream, from production processes in the fields to distribution to the market, shape the regional economic structure. The study findings show that although Jember has a comparative advantage in commodities such as coffee, cocoa, tobacco, rice, and horticulture, the added value received by farmers remains relatively low. Contributing factors include dependence on middlemen, limited access to post-harvest technology, limited marketing networks, and a lack of innovation in product processing, resulting in a weak bargaining position for farmers in the market. In addition, supporting infrastructure such as agricultural roads, irrigation systems, storage facilities, and price information systems are still inadequate. On the other hand, there are significant untapped potentials, including opportunities for agricultural digitization, strengthening farmers' economic institutions such as cooperatives and local government-owned enterprises (BUMD), and collaboration between local governments, universities, and the private sector.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the banking sector has become a key factor in improving operational efficiency and environmental sustainability. E-business itself is a technology for the development of a company, both internally and externally. Green Banking translates as a bank's effort to prioritize the implementation of sustainability in credit or sales activities. The type of research used is a qualitative data method recorded in books, notes, and reports of previous research findings. The methods used in this study are description and analysis. The description method aims to explain the phenomena associated with the ontological approach in Islamic economics, while the analytical method is used to analyze the data and information obtained from these literature sources. This study discusses how e-business strategies are applied in banking to realize the principles of green banking, Including the use of financial technology (fintech), digital-based banking services, and automation of transaction processes. With a qualitative approach and literature studies, the results show that digital transformation not only improves the efficiency and convenience of banking services, but also contributes to reducing carbon footprint and supporting sustainability policies in the financial sector Therefore, the integration of e-business in banking is a strategic step in realizing a more environmentally friendly banking system.
