Abstract

The abstract of the study offers deep insight into the relationship between e-uinness and Green Banking, as well as technological roles in strengthening sustainability practices in the financial sector. E-bustics has become the main driver in implementing Green Banking practices. Through the use of information and communication technology, financial institutions can increase operational efficiency while reducing the environmental impact of their business activities. This study aims to explore the role of e-bust in promoting the application of Green Banking in Indonesia. By using a qualitative approach, it is hoped that this study can provide understanding of the integration of digital technology with environmentally friendly practices. The results from this study show that e-busting adoption not only helps financial institutions achieve sustainability goals, but also increases their competitiveness in the market. The resulting recommendations are expected to assist financial institutions in developing a more effective strategy to improve their operational sustainability. Thus, this study contributes a significant contribution to the understanding of how technological innovations can support transition to more sustainable and responsible business practices in Indonesia.

Abstract

The growth of Islamic banking tends to be slower when compared to national banking, which shows that there are still various challenges or obstacles that must be overcome by Islamic banking. Similarly, the great potential that should be owned to boost the development of Islamic banking. However, the reality is that until now, the growth rate of Islamic banking is still far behind that of conventional banks. The purpose of this study is to reveal the various obstacles faced by Islamic banking in Indonesia in its growth process. This research is descriptive qualitative in nature, using data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The findings of this study show that the barriers to the growth of Islamic banking in Indonesia include the lack of human resources who understand Islamic banking well, the lack of socialization received by the public, the low literacy about Islamic banking among the public, the lack of enthusiasm and public trust in Islamic banking, and the delay in the existence of regulations that specifically regulate Islamic banking. This does not only apply to delays or barriers in the growth of Islamic banking in Indonesia, but also applies nationally.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought major changes in the world of Islamic banking, especially in the way people access financial services. Now, with the advancement of information technology, Islamic banks are able to provide various services that make it easier for people without having to come directly to the bank office. This study aims to determine the extent to which Islamic banking has developed in the digital era, with an emphasis on the role of information technology in improving efficiency and ease of access to financial services. This research uses the library study method, by reviewing various literature and documents related to the topic of Islamic banking and digitalization. Data sources come from books, scientific journals, and other relevant references. In the analysis process, the author uses a descriptive approach to explain the progress achieved by Islamic banking in utilizing digital technology. The findings in this study reveal that digital-based financial services, such as mobile banking and internet banking, play an important role in deepening Islamic banking and internet banking in entering the digital era, which continues to play an important role in expanding public access to Islamic banking products. In addition, Islamic banks have also come up with various innovative features that suit the needs of customers, such as bold account opening, transactions without physical cards, and financial services that are easy to use.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the experience of Individual Taxpayers in using the e-Filing system at the Tax Service Office (KPP) Pratama Magelang, as well as identify the obstacles faced and solutions that can be applied to improve the effectiveness of reporting Annual Tax Return (SPT) electronically. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation of three informants who were purposively selected based on certain criteria. The results show that although e-Filing offers easy access and time efficiency, its implementation still encounters various obstacles, such as low digital literacy, technical constraints, and lack of confidence in using the system. Some informants still choose to report their tax returns directly to the Tax Office because they feel more comfortable with face-to-face assistance. These findings indicate that the successful implementation of e-Filing is highly dependent on adequate educational support, responsive technical services, and supportive infrastructure. This study recommends the need for continuous improvement in the quality of tax education, personalised assistance, and strengthening of technological infrastructure. Through an inclusive and adaptive approach, e-Filing is expected to function as a strategic instrument in building a culture of tax compliance based on convenience, awareness, and public trust in the digital taxation system.

Abstract

This study highlights the importance of performance assessment of Indonesian Islamic Banks, especially Bandar Lampung Islamic Bank, which is influenced by product development, public perception, and security. The purpose of the study was to examine the impact of these three factors on bank performance assessment and determine the relative importance of each in the success of Islamic banks. The results of the analysis show that product development has a positive but insignificant impact, with a t-value (-306) smaller than the t-table (1.98217) and a significance (0.760) greater than 0.05. In contrast, public perception and security show a positive and significant impact, with t-values ​​of 5.154 and 2.909, respectively, and a significance below 0.05. These findings indicate that this study, although with important product development, security and public opinion have a greater influence on the performance of Islamic banks. Therefore, banks need to focus on improving transaction security, service quality, and transparency to build consumer trust. This study provides insight for Islamic bank management to improve performance and competitiveness in the Indonesian Islamic banking market.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) to national financial stability through a qualitative case study approach. The research focuses on liquidity management, risk management, and compliance with Sharia principles. The findings indicate that BSI plays a strategic role in enhancing the resilience of the national financial system through adaptive and sustainability-oriented management strategies. These include portfolio diversification in productive sectors—particularly micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs)—optimization of banking service digitalization, and the strengthening of governance based on Sharia values.Compliance with Sharia principles not only ensures operational integrity but also reinforces public trust in Islamic banking institutions. The implementation of asset-based financial systems and the avoidance of speculative practices significantly contribute to mitigating systemic risks. Moreover, BSI’s efforts to promote financial inclusion and increase public literacy regarding Sharia-compliant financial products further support the overall stability of the financial system.Nonetheless, several challenges remain, such as the low level of financial literacy among the general public and intense competition with conventional banks. Therefore, strategic and collaborative efforts are needed among regulators, industry players, and the public to enhance understanding and confidence in the Islamic financial system. These findings underscore the substantial potential of BSI in supporting the long-term stability and sustainability of Indonesia’s financial system.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of ease of access, customer trust, and information quality on the level of customer loyalty of Islamic banks. In the era of rapid digitalization, ease of access is an important factor in improving customer experience, while high trust in Islamic banks serves as the main pillar in building long-term relationships. In addition, the quality of accurate, relevant, and transparent information also plays a crucial role in providing a clear understanding of sharia-based products and services. Using a quantitative approach and survey design, data were collected through questionnaires collected from 300 respondents in member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The results of the analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) show that ease of access, consumer trust, and information quality have a positive and significant effect on consumer loyalty. This study is expected to provide new insights for the development of Islamic bank strategies in increasing customer loyalty amidst increasingly fierce competition. Abstract

This study aims to analyze digitalization strategies in increasing the competitiveness of Islamic banks in the modern era. Digitalization has become a critical factor in facing global competition, especially with the increasing demands of customers for fast, safe, and sharia-compliant services. Based on data from Bank Syariah Indonesia (2023), the implementation of mobile banking applications and digital services has increased the number of active customers by 25%. However, challenges such as low digital literacy, dependence on legacy systems, and the need to ensure sharia compliance are still major obstacles (Muhdar, 2023; Setiawan & Mugiyati, 2024). This study uses a qualitative approach by analyzing secondary data from accredited journals and annual reports of Islamic banks. The results of the study show that strategies such as the adoption of sharia fintech, integration of blockchain technology, use of big data analytics, and development of mobile banking applications can improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction (Andespa, 2024; Awamleh, 2024). However, the success of digitalization is highly dependent on infrastructure readiness, human resource competence, and collaboration with sharia fintech. This study provides recommendations for Islamic banks to invest in digital infrastructure development, employee training, and product innovation in accordance with Islamic principles to increase competitiveness in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of liquidity and capital structure on the operational efficiency of property and real estate companies in Indonesia from 2019 to 2023, amidst economic challenges posed by the pandemic. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing panel data from annual financial reports of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, analyzed through random-effects panel regression to assess variable relationships. The findings reveal that liquidity, measured by cash, current, and quick ratios, and capital structure, measured by the debt-to-equity ratio, do not significantly influence operational efficiency, measured by earnings before interest and taxes. This outcome may be attributed to heterogeneity among companies and the pandemic’s disruption of cash flows. Nevertheless, companies with adequate liquidity demonstrated greater resilience during the crisis. The study concludes that optimal liquidity and capital structure management remain crucial for supporting operational efficiency, recommending diversification of funding sources and adoption of digital technologies to enhance competitiveness in the dynamic property market.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent to which the role of taxpayer awareness mediates the understanding of taxation and tax education activities on taxpayer compliance in individual taxpayers under the supervision of KPP Pratama Blora refers to the phenomenon of declining levels of taxpayer compliance, which can be seen from the decline in the number of SPT submissions each year. Data processing is done quantitatively by utilising Structural Equation Modeling techniques through the Partial Least Square approach. A total of 100 respondents were used in this study, which were obtained using an accidental and willing sample selection technique.The findings in this study indicate that tax understanding has a significant impact on taxpayer awareness, but does not show a significant influence on the level of tax compliance. On the other hand, tax education was shown to influence taxpayer awareness, but did not contribute directly or through awareness in improving compliance. Taxpayer awareness is shown to have a significant impact on compliance and serves as an effective mediator between understanding and compliance. Based on the results of this study, it is important to improve the quality of education and tax education that is more participatory and communicative to build the level of awareness and compliance of taxpayers at KPP Pratama Blora.
