JURNAL MAHASISWA SISTEM INFORMASI GALUH (JMSIG) merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Teknik, Prodi S1 Sistem Informasi, Universitas Galuh dengan frekuensi terbit dua kali dalam setahun. JURNAL MAHASISWA SISTEM INFORMASI GALUH adalah jurnal peer-review di bidang Informasi dan Teknologi bagi mahasiswa Sistem Informasi seperti RPL, Jaringan, IoT, dan lain-lain. Kemudian JMSIG bertujuan untuk menyebarluaskan hasil penelitian dan meningkatkan produktivitas publikasi ilmiah. Jurnal ini terbit 2 kali dalam setahun. Periode 1 terbit per bulan Mei dan periode 2 terbit per bulan Oktober. Batas maksimal penerimaan jurnal periode 1 yaitu pada bulan Maret dan periode 2 yaitu bulan September.

Abstract

PT Saamparan Digital Group is a company engaged in buying and selling YouTube accounts. Its marketing strategy still relies on traditional word-of-mouth methods, limiting promotional reach, slowing transactions, and increasing fraud risks. This study aims to design and develop a web-based digital marketing information system to expand market reach, enhance transaction security, and provide easy access to customer information.The research adopts the Agile Software Development method, which is iterative and flexible, allowing the system to be developed in stages according to user needs. The system was built using PHP, MySQL, and Bootstrap, with main features including product management, online transactions, reporting, and chat between users and administrators. System testing employed the black-box method to ensure functionality meets user requirements.The results show that the system improves PT Saamparan Digital Group’s marketing effectiveness by reaching wider markets, speeding up transaction processes, and reducing fraud risks through digital verification. Moreover, it provides a more convenient and secure shopping experience. Implementing this web-based digital marketing system is expected to strengthen the company’s competitiveness in the digital business era.

Abstract

The reservation process at Kawali Sport Center is still carried out manually, causing booking delays, schedule conflicts, and slow payment verification, while users cannot check court availability in real time. This study aims to design and develop a web-based reservation system using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The system was built with PHP and MySQL, designed with Figma and UML, and tested using Black Box Testing, while integrating Midtrans for online payments. The results show that the system accelerates booking, minimizes schedule conflicts, and simplifies payment verification. The RAD method also ensures faster and more flexible development, improving service quality at Kawali Sport Center and providing a reference for similar sports facility management systems.

Abstract

CV Putra Wibawa, a distribution company, currently still relies on a manual system for recording transactions and its sales processes. This condition has led to significant operational challenges, such as delays in information, inefficiencies in time and resources, and a limited market reach. Therefore, this research aims to design a comprehensive enterprise architecture to support the implementation of digital sales by utilizing the Zachman Framework.The Zachman Framework was chosen due to its ability to provide a structured and holistic system representation. This framework analyzes six fundamental aspects: what, how, where, who, when, and why, from six different stakeholder perspectives, ranging from the planner, owner, designer, builder, subcontractor, to the functioning system. The research method applied was qualitative, where data was collected through direct observation and in-depth interviews with key parties in the company.The analysis ultimately resulted in a strategic information system design. This design is capable of providing core features such as integrated transaction recording, an easily accessible digital product catalog, and support for online payments. It is hoped that the implementation of this system will subsequently improve overall operational efficiency, expand the reach of sales to a broader market, and ultimately enhance the company's competitiveness in the digital era.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Rumah Tahfidz Al-Qur'an Bait Qur'ani Tasikmalaya is a non-formal educational institution that focuses on memorizing and reciting the Qur'an. This institution still uses a manual method to report the progress of students' memorization of the Qur'an to their parents. Based on the results of the study, the author tried to design a tahfidz al-Quran reporting system to make it easier for parents to find out their children's achievements in real time which can be accessed from anywhere using a web-based application. The development method used is one of the Agile development methods, namely the Extreme Programming development method. By using the Extreme Programming method, the development of this web-based application can be carried out more flexibly because the Extreme Programming development method involves iterations that are repeated depending on user needs and feedback.

Abstract

PERUMDAM Tirta Galuh Ciamis, as a clean water service provider, faces operational efficiency challenges, including manual customer data management, lack of system integration, and slow response to customer complaints. This study aims to develop a strategic information system (IS) plan aligned with PERUMDAM Tirta Galuh business objectives using the Anita Cassidy method, which consists of four stages: Visioning, Analysis, Direction, and Recommendation. Value Chain approach to map business activities, Five Forces to assess competitiveness, and SWOT to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The research findings indicate that PERUMDAM requires digital-based information system enhancements, such as the development of a customer mobile application, integration of billing systems with GIS, as well as improvements in IT infrastructure and data security. The strategic recommendations include four priority projects: (1) Integrated Customer Management Information System, (2) Mobile Application for Payments and Complaints, (3) SCADA/IoT for Water Network Monitoring, and (4) IT Human Resource Training.

Abstract

The development of the photography industry today is not only determined by the quality of the final photos but also by the convenience and ease of service received by customers. CloudPhoto Studio Ciamis still relies on manual methods to serve its customers, such as through WhatsApp and Instagram, which often lead to problems such as delayed confirmations, poorly organized data, and inconsistent services. This condition highlights the need for a more structured and interactive web-based information system to improve service quality. This research applies the concept of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) in the development of a web-based information system designed to enable customers to make reservations, access package and price information, view portfolios, and experience faster, more efficient, and personalized services. The prototype method was used in this study, emphasizing user involvement at every stage. The process begins with communication to gather requirements, quick plan to outline a simple strategy, quick design to produce the initial interface, construction of prototype to develop the system prototype, and delivery & feedback to refine the system based on user input. The results show that the implementation of this web-based CRM system can improve service efficiency, strengthen the professional image of CloudPhoto Studio, and maintain customer loyalty through more personalized services. Furthermore, the system also creates opportunities for the studio to expand its market reach more effectively. Thus, the development of a CRM-based information system can be considered a crucial strategy to support the sustainability and competitiveness of the photography industry.

Abstract

The effective use of health data is essential to support planning and decision-making in village-level community health programs. This study aims to classify the health potential of the Cigugur Village community based on the risk level of infectious diseases using a data mining approach. The research adopts a quantitative descriptive method and follows the Knowledge Discovery in Database (KDD) process, including data collection, preprocessing, clustering, and visualization. Data were obtained from the Cigugur Community Health Center (Puskesmas) for the period 2023–2024, consisting of patient visit records, residential hamlets, and types of infectious diseases. Data analysis was conducted using the K-Means clustering algorithm, with the optimal number of clusters determined through the Elbow Method. The results show three clusters representing high-, medium-, and low-risk zones. Palumbungan and Cipaku were classified as high-risk areas, Tegalega as medium-risk, and Cilembu and Karang Anyar as low-risk. The findings indicate that K-Means clustering is effective in mapping community health conditions and can support data-driven decision-making for prioritizing village health programs.

Abstract

Student academic performance is an important indicator for measuring the success of learning processes in educational institutions. This study aims to apply the C4.5 algorithm to predict student performance at MTs PGII Banjar based on academic and non-academic factors. This research uses a quantitative approach with computational experimental methods following the CRISP-DM methodology. The research data were obtained from 652 students of MTs PGII Banjar for the academic years 2021/2022-2023/2024 selected using purposive sampling technique. Research variables include academic factors (subject grades, attendance) and non-academic factors (learning motivation, parental support, socioeconomic status). The C4.5 algorithm implementation was conducted using RapidMiner Studio with parameters of minimum instances per leaf = 5, confidence factor = 0.25, and minimum gain threshold = 0.01. The results show that the prediction model using the C4.5 algorithm achieved an accuracy of 78.68%, precision of 77.84%, recall of 78.12%, and F1-score of 77.98%. The AUC-ROC value of 0.842 indicates excellent model discrimination capability. Validation using 10-fold cross validation demonstrated consistent performance with low standard deviation (0.57%). Information gain analysis shows Mathematics grade as the strongest predictor (0.847), followed by Science grade (0.723), attendance level (0.689), and learning motivation (0.634). The generated decision tree identified 23 classification rules with an average confidence of 84.2% that can be interpreted as an early warning system for identifying at-risk students. This model can be implemented as a decision support system to improve academic management quality through data-driven decision making.

Abstract

PT. Global Nikel Multiguna still applies a manual system in leave management. This process causes delays, risks of recording errors, data manipulation, and document accumulation. This study was conducted to design a more effective and efficient web-based leave information system using the Rational Unified Process (RUP) method with four main phases: inception, elaboration, construction, and transition. Research data were collected through observation and interviews with the company, then analyzed to formulate system requirements. System modeling was carried out using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) method, followed by interface design in the form of wireframes, and an initial implementation using the Laravel framework. To ensure the functionality works as intended, functional testing was conducted using the black box method. The results show that the designed system can perform basic functions, namely leave submission, leave approval, employee data management, and report generation according to the company’s needs. However, this study is still limited to the design and initial testing stages, thus it does not yet include deployment and direct user evaluation, and further development is required so that the system can be fully implemented in the company.

Abstract

The Land and Building Tax (PBB) is an important revenue source for village development. In Awiluar Village, Lumbung District, PBB monitoring is still performed manually, making data processing, reporting, and real-time tracking difficult. This study designs an enterprise architecture for a PBB monitoring system using the Zachman Framework, based on observations, interviews, and document reviews. The results include business process models, design diagrams, and a network topology suited to the village’s needs. Applying the Zachman Framework provides a comprehensive system overview, facilitates information management, and improves monitoring efficiency.
