This journal covers textual and empirical, as well as classical and contemporary research on Islam, primarily focusing on Islam and Muslims study in Indonesia. Literatur studies focus on exploring the crucial importance of the classical handwritten manuscripts or books of Indonesian Islam. It is concerned with the written transmission of knowledge, the numerous varieties of Islamic literature, and its materials related to philology and thought. Empirical studies. The focus on committed to publishing scholarship grounded in empirical research and comparison of relevance to understanding the broader intellectual of Islam Indonesia. Contemporary Indonesian Islam studies should be based on history, anthropology, sociology, education, law, economics, and political developments.

Abstract

Character education has become a crucial issue amidst the moral challenges faced by modern society. Phenomena such as rising criminal acts, corruption, child abuse, and human rights violations reflect a character crisis in Indonesia. Noble values such as honesty, responsibility, and empathy are increasingly fading. Religion-based character education can serve as a solution to building a morally upright and integrity-driven young generation. The stories of Prophets and Messengers provide concrete examples of leadership, patience, and piety that are relevant for daily life application. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of using the stories of Prophets and Messengers as a teaching medium in shaping the character of young people in the digital era. By leveraging digital media as a storytelling platform, students are not only encouraged to understand religious values but also to strengthen their critical thinking and morality. This study emphasizes the importance of synergy between character education and technology to meet the learning needs of the 21st century.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik elektronik (e-LKPD) yang didesain menggunakan Canva dengan mengintegrasikan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) untuk meningkatkan penguasaan konsep membacamembaca dan kemandirian belajar peserta didik. Analisis kebutuhan dilakukan melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan information dari guru dan peserta didik melalui wawancara, observasi, dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 85% guru dan peserta didik membutuhkan media pembelajaran interaktif yang dapat diakses secara mudah. Penggunaan e-LKPD berbantuan Canva dipilih karena kemudahan penggunaan dan fitur desain yang menarik. Model pembelajaran PBL diintegrasikan untuk merangsang kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemandirian peserta didik dalam memecahkan masalah. Analisis juga mengungkapkan bahwa Sebagian besar peserta didik mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep membaca dan membutuhkan bimbingan yang lebih terstruktur. Pengembangan e-LKPD ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi inovatif dalam pembelajaran, serta mendukung terciptanya pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan mandiri.

Abstract

Character education is the basis of education for every individual, including for children with special needs, namely mentally retarded children in special schools, which are important to be instilled and accustomed to from an early age. This study aims to examine the implementation and strategies in internalizing Islamic character for mentally retarded students at SLB Anugerah. The type of research conducted by the researcher uses a descriptive qualitative method. The data analysis used three activity paths, namely data reduction, data display, drawing conclusions. From the results of the data analysis, the following conclusions were obtained: first, internalization of Islamic character is carried out through a hidden curriculum from various activities carried out including through reciting the Koran, congregational prayer activities, learning to memorize letters and prayers, learning fairy tales, religious holiday activities. Second, the method applied is by exemplary behavior from the surrounding environment, namely teachers provide examples for mentally retarded children together, habituation and discipline such as consistent congregational prayer activities, rewards and punishments such as giving gifts that increase children's enthusiasm and giving educational punishments to improve their discipline, and giving advice (ma'uidzotul hasanah). Fourth: the media used is visualization by utilizing pictorial learning media, concrete audio visuals by prioritizing the characteristics and needs of each mentally retarded student. Abstract

This article examines the literary footsteps of Hamzah Fansuri who is known as a famous Sufi and poet in Aceh in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. Fansuri’s primary contribution to Malay literature is very significant. As a controversial wujudi Sufi, Fansuri utilized poetry to convey his Sufi experiences and ideas. This article uses a qualitative method to explore and describe his rich mystical views. By using a content analysis approach, this article presents Fansuri’s poetry in order to understand the constellation of his wujudiyah thoughts. This article found that Fansuri succeeded in showing his expertise in conveying his Sufi ideas using the medium of poetry. In addition, he was a key Sufi poet who has introduced the Malay poetic image by creatively adopting Arabic-Persian vocabularies.

Abstract

This research contains a discussion of the political case of the Islamic Public Sphere in Jakarta in 2016-2017. Taking the case of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) as a case study that will be examined in relation to the Islamic public sphere in Jakarta. The analysis of this study uses a qualitative method with data analysis through content, and a theory in the form of the Public Sphere by Jürgen Habermas. The results of the study show that the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) is part of the Public Sphere in Jakarta in the 2016-2017 period, which greatly influences the government's decisions in determining the direction of the law in Indonesia.

Abstract

Artikel ini akan membahas pentingnya evaluasi berbasis karakter dalam konteks pendidikan Islam, serta bagaimana pendekatan ini dapat membantu memperkuat pemahaman nilai-nilai Islam di kalangan generasi muda. Dengan memahami dan menerapkan evaluasi ini, diharapkan kita dapat menciptakan generasi yang tidak hanya paham akan ajaran agama, tetapi juga mampu mengamalkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka (literature review). Pendekatan ini digunakan untuk menganalisis berbagai artikel yang relevan dengan pemahaman nilai-nilai islam dan evaluasi berbasis karakter. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini artikel ilmiah yang dipublikasikan di jurnal terakreditasi. Kriteria sumber data mencakup artikel yang membahas tentang nilai-nilai Islam dalam pendidikan dan yang menyoroti penerapan evaluasi berbasis karakter. Secara keseluruhan, evaluasi berbasis karakter memainkan peran signifikan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam pada siswa. Melalui penilaian yang komprehensif dan berkelanjutan, pendidik dapat memastikan bahwa nilai-nilai keislaman tidak hanya dipahami secara kognitif, tetapi juga diwujudkan dalam perilaku nyata, membentuk generasi yang berakhlak mulia sesuai dengan ajaran Islam.Evaluasi berbasis karakter efektif dalam mendukung internalisasi nilai-nilai seperti kejujuran, tanggung jawab, dan disiplin, serta relevan untuk menghadapi tantangan sosial dan moral dimasa modern. Studi mendatang dapat mengeksplorasi metode evaluasi yang lebih inklusif, seperti kolaborasi antara sekolah dan masyarakat, serta mengkaji penerapan teknologi dalam evaluasi berbasis karakter. Studi ini menegaskan pentingnya pendidikan berbasis karakter dalam membentuk generasi yang unggul. Kata Kunci: Evaluasi Berbasis Karakter, Nilai-Nilai Islam, Pendidikan Karakter.

Abstract

Abstract Management in an educational institution is one of the factors to maintain a stable institution, which includes evaluating and controlling strategies which is also one of the elements of management itself. The object of this research is SD Takmirul Islam Surakarta. This study aims to determine the evaluation and control of strategies in improving the quality of education, this research uses qualitative research. Qualitative data analysis method through three activities, namely (1) data reduction (2) data presentation, and (3) conclusion drawing and verification. The results of this study are formulated in 2 conclusions, namely First, Education Evaluation in Improving the Quality of Education. Second, Control Strategy in Improving the Quality of Education. The results of the study explain that the management control system process is good as evidenced by the delegation of authority properly, the implementation of programs that refer to previous plans, budgeting, implementation or measurement that is well supervised to the evaluation carried out from each division so that the quality of education at SD Takmirul Islam Surakarta continues to grow over the years. Abstrak Manajemen dalam suatu lembaga pendidikan merupakan salah satu faktor untuk mempertahankan lembaga agar tetap stabil, yang diantaranya yaitu melakukan evaluasi dan pengendalian strategi dimana hal tersebut juga merupakan salah satu unsur dari manajemen itu sendiri. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah SD Takmirul Islam Surakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui evaluasi dan pengendalian strategi dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan, penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif. Metode analisis data kualitatif melalui tiga aktivitas, yaitu (1) reduksi data (2) penyajian data, dan (3) penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini terumuskan dalam 2 kesimpulan, yaitu Pertama, Evaluasi Pendidikan Dalam Meningkatkan Mutu Pendidikan. Kedua, Pengendalian Strategi Dalam Meningkatkan Mutu Pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa proses sistem pengendalian manajemen sudah baik terbukti dengan pendelegasian wewenang dengan baik, pelaksanaan program yang mengacu pada rencana sebelumnya, penyusunan anggaran, pelaksanaan atau pengukuran yang diawasi dengan baik sampai pada evaluasi yang dilakukan dari masing-masing divisi sehingga mutu pendidikan di SD Takmirul Islam Surakarta terus berkembang selama bertahun-tahun. Abstract

The formation of students’ religious character is a fundamental pillar in Islamic education. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) students, as prospective educators, hold a strategic role in this process. This study examines the early professionalism of female students in the PAI program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara, who concurrently serve as teachers at SMP IT Al Munadi Medan, and its impact on shaping students' religious character. Employing a qualitative case study method, data were collected primarily through in-depth interviews. The findings reveal that the students demonstrate high dedication and effective time management in balancing their dual roles as students and teachers. They actively organize and lead religious activities such as congregational prayers, Qur’anic recitations (tadarus), and Islamic holiday commemorations, which significantly contribute to enhancing students’ spirituality, discipline, and moral behavior. This study emphasizes that consistent habituation and exemplary conduct are key to the deep internalization of Islamic values. The results highlight the crucial role of hands-on teaching practice in developing both professionalism and the religious character of prospective educators during their academic journey. Pembentukan karakter religius siswa merupakan salah satu pilar utama dalam pendidikan Islam. Mahasiswa PAI sebagai calon pendidik memiliki peran strategis. Penelitian ini mengkaji profesionalisme mahasiswi Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara yang sekaligus berperan sebagai guru di SMP IT Al Munadi Medan, serta dampaknya terhadap pembentukan karakter religius siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswi tersebut mampu menunjukkan dedikasi tinggi dan manajemen waktu yang efektif dalam menjalankan peran ganda sebagai mahasiswa dan guru. Ia aktif mengorganisasi dan memimpin kegiatan keagamaan seperti salat berjamaah, tadarus Al-Qur’an, dan peringatan hari besar Islam yang berkontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan spiritualitas, kedisiplinan, dan perilaku moral siswa. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pembiasaan dan keteladanan yang konsisten menjadi kunci internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam secara mendalam. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya pengalaman praktik mengajar langsung dalam membentuk profesionalisme dan karakter religius calon pendidik selama masa studi.

Abstract

This research examines the psychological aspects in the short story "The Lame Angel". This research is a qualitative descriptive study using Kurt Lewin's literary psychology approach. The data collection techniques used in this research were library techniques, reading and note-taking. In this research, he began to use Kurt Lewin's theory to identify interactions that occurred between the main character and other characters which led to conflict. The results of this research show that the author mentions internal conflict in the short story "The Lame Angel" by Mona Marchoud. By using Kurt Lewin's psychological studies, two things can be concluded. First, getting closer indicates a form of internal conflict, happiness, and anxiety. Approach-distancing conflict takes the form of disappointment, fear and anger, while Approach-distancing conflict takes the form of disappointment, annoyance and anxiety. Second: The response to resolving internal conflict in the short story is divided into three parts, namely 1) anxiety, 2) bargaining, 3) choice/rejection. These three actions carried out by the main character occur until the main character understands himself and is able to accept the current situation.

Abstract

This article describes the presentation and content of poetry in the books Rawdat al-Aqlaa and Nuzhat al-Fadlaa by Imam al-Hafiz Abu Hatim Muhammad Ibnu Hibban. Researchers used special prosodic studies that did not find rhyme. This research includes the theories of bahr, 'ilat, and zuhaf, and adds 'general' content. The way to use this theory is to analyze the poems in the books Rawdat al-Qalaa and Nuzhat al-Fadlaa. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data is in the form of poems from the first to third chapters in the book "Rawdat al-Uqlaa wa Nuzhat al-Fadlaa" by Imam Al-Hafiz Abu Hatim Muhammad Ibnu Hibban, and this book is the main source, while the secondary source is the book Rawdat al-Uqlaa wa Nuzhat al-Fadlaa, translation of his book. The data collection method is the library method, namely by reading and taking notes. There are nine seas used in the first to third chapters of the books Rawdat al-Uqlaa and Nuzhat al-Fadlaa, including: Bahr al-Taweel, Bahr al-Basit, Bahr al-Kamil, Bahr al-Hazj, Bahr al-Raml, Bahr al-Sari'i, Bahr al-Mansarih, and Bahr al-Khafif. And the sea is close by. Each sea has different conditions of presentation and reproduction and can change at any time as well as disease. Its contents: invites you to adhere to reason, the characteristics of a wise and intelligent person, mentions the perfection of secrets through the need to be devout, and states the urgent need for knowledge and diligent search.
