Abstract

This study aims to describe the efforts made by Islamic Religious Education teachers in overcoming the difficulties of reading the Qur'an of students at SMP Negeri 1 Sampang. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the type of field research. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation. The informants in this study were the Principal, PAI Teacher, and Students of Class VII F, VIII D, IX A, and IX H. The data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that PAI teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Sampang have made several efforts to overcome students' difficulty reading the Qur'an, namely: (1) Peer Tutor Program which is proven effective in creating a comfortable learning atmosphere and changing the influence of peers to be positive, (2) Extracurricular Reading and Writing Al-Qur'an (BTA) which is directed for students with basic difficulties in reading Al-Qur'an, (3) Practicing the science of tajweed practically through demonstration and practice, (4) Giving advice and motivation consistently, (5) Habituation of reading short surahs at the beginning of every PAI lesson

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Introflex TERPADU learning model in Islamic Religious Education and Character Education at SMP Islam Terpadu Harapan Bunda Purwokerto, as well as analyze student learning motivation. Teaching Islamic Religious Education and Character Education requires interesting teaching methods so that the material can be delivered well and display student learning motivation. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive qualitative method and field research. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, presentation, and verification. The subjects of the study were teachers, students, principals, and deputy heads of curriculum of Islamic Religious Education and Character Education. The results indicate that the Introflex TERPADU learning model was implemented in three stages in the Islamic Religious Education and Character Education subjects at SMP Islam Terpadu Harapan Bunda Purwokerto: planning, implementation, and evaluation. This model visualizes learning. Implementing the Introflex TERPADU learning model requires good coordination from various parties due to the presence of supporting and inhibiting factors

Abstract

Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is an instructional model that centers on real-world problem solving, aiming to enhance student engagement, foster the development of new knowledge, and create a comfortable and interactive classroom atmosphere. This study aims to describe the implementation of character education through the Problem-Based Learning model in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMP N 2 Purwanegara. The research employed a qualitative approach using a field research method. Data collection techniques included non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, verification, and drawing conclusions, while source triangulation was used to test the validity of the data. The findings revealed that the PBL model was implemented through a structured series of learning activities that encouraged students to think critically and actively engage in solving contextual problems. The teacher functioned as a facilitator, guiding students to analyze, discuss, and present solutions to real-life issues relevant to their experiences. The implementation of PBL proved effective in developing and strengthening students' character traits, such as responsibility, discipline, honesty, and cooperation. The interaction between teachers and students became more interactive and meaningful, resulting in a more dynamic learning environment. Furthermore, students demonstrated a deeper understanding of Islamic Religious Education materials and were able to relate religious values to everyday life. Thus, the Problem-Based Learning model is effective in supporting the reinforcement of character education within the context of Islamic Religious Education in junior high schools.

Abstract

The holistic-integrative approach emerges as a solution to address the dichotomy between religious education and other scientific disciplines. The failure in teaching Qur'an and Hadith often stems from an educational approach that emphasizes the cognitive aspect while neglecting the affective and psychomotor domains, as well as the lack of emphasis on understanding the meaning of the material in everyday life. This highlights a gap between students’ theoretical understanding and their practical application. The aim of this study is to analyze the implementation of Qur'an and Hadith learning using a holistic-integrative approach in the eighth-grade class at MTs Ma’arif NU 02 Karangklesem. This research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The study findings indicate that Al-Qur’an Hadith teachers have implemented a holistic integrative approach. The holistic approach primarily focuses on cognitive and affective aspects while the psychomotor aspect still requires further development. The integrative approach is applied by teachers through lectures that incorporate Al-Qur’an Hadits content with subjects such as science, social studies, Islamic history, technology, and students personal experiences. This approach encourages students to become the center of the learning process through an active learning model.

Abstract

Education is a guideline for every human development. The main problem is choosing a spesific direction and goal. In education, an approach is needed including curriculum renewal, quality of learning an the effectiveness of the learning methods used. Teaching and learning activities in the classroom need to be carried out as well as possible so that educational goals can be achieved. Seeing the low interest of students in studying the Qur’an and Hadith, an interesting and enjoyable learning method is needed. One of them is the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning method. The study aims to describe the implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) method in learning the Al-Qur’an Hadith of class X students of MAN 3 Banyumas. The research method used is field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collected in this study through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was carried out with the steps of data collection, data reduction and drawing conclusions. The result of the study showed that the implementation of the Contexual Teaching and Learning (CTL) method uses learning steps contained in the 5 (five) relavant Contexual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning components. Including constructivism, modelling, inquiry (finding for yourself), questioning, learning community. Al-Qur'an Hadith learning activities in the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) method include students developing new knowledge that they already have, studying the material in the Al-Qur'an Hadith book, student involvement in discussion and question and answer activities, forming study groups, making sketches or models for learning needs, conducting learning reflections and teachers conducting objective evaluations of students

Abstract

Moral education serves as a reference in nurturing the nation's generation. This is because moral education is very important for students to possess skills and abilities as well as noble character based on the One Supreme God. To support this moral education, it is necessary to have enjoyable learning for students, which can be achieved through the fun learning method to emphasize good moral character for students at the Al-Qur'an Education Institution (LPQ) Jami'ul Akbar in Klapagading Village, Banyumas Regency. This research aims to describe and analyze the implementation of the fun learning method in improving the moral education of students at LPQ Jami'ul Akbar in Klapagading Village, Banyumas Regency. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study research type focusing on the students at LPQ Jami'ul Akbar in Klapagading village, Banyumas Regency. Data collection was performed using three methods: observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion verification. The research results indicate that enjoyable learning methods (fun learning) can be effectively implemented through several stages, namely creating a comfortable, interactive, collaborative, and varied atmosphere. The application of fun learning methods has proven to be able to shape the morals of students at LPQ Jami'ul Akbar, Klapagading Village, Banyumas Regency. This is reflected in the behavior and speech of the students, which demonstrate noble character towards teachers, peers, and parents. The moral education process carried out by the teachers emphasizes understanding and applying Islamic values in daily life, such as being dutiful to parents and teachers, as well as caring for and respecting one another. With a fun approach, the learning process becomes more effective because the students feel comfortable and motivated. Additionally, moral education is also directed towards fostering honest and disciplined attitudes in the daily lives of students. Thus, the fun learning method has proven effective in improving the quality of moral education at LPQ Jami'ul Akbar, through an enjoyable and meaningful approach

Abstract

Diversity in characteristics, learning styles, and students' backgroundsis an important aspect that every educator must deeply understand. This is due tothe fact that each individual has a unique way of learning that cannot begeneralized. Therefore, educators are required to design differentiatedinstruction in the classroom. This approach aims to tailor the learning process tothe needs, characteristics, and learning styles of each student, so they can gain amore meaningful learning experience. This study aims to describe theimplementation of Differentiated Instruction in the Islamic Religious Educationsubject at SMP Negeri 8 Purwokerto. The researcher used a qualitative researchmethod with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation,interviews, and documentation, while the data analysis techniques included datareduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the studyinclude the initial assessment conducted by educators to group students based ontheir learning styles and abilities, the implementation of differentiated instructionwhich consists of three aspects differentiation of content, process, product.Evaluation conducted after the differentiated learning. This effort is made so thatthe learning strategies designed are truly able to accommodate the diverseneeds, potential, and learning styles of students.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the low learning motivation of students in class VIII SMP Negeri 9 Purwokerto. Researchers chose ice breaking to overcome the low motivation of students, besides that ice breaking is also used to break the ice, confusion, boredom and saturation of the atmosphere so that it becomes melting and the atmosphere can return to its original state (more conducive). then it is likely that students return to a better condition (enthusiasm, motivation, passion for learning, boredom and so on). The purpose of this study is to analyze whether there is a relationship between ice breaking and motivation. Based on the problems stated earlier and the objectives to be achieved, this research is a quantitative research with experimental design with pretest and posttest research form. The population of this study was all VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 09 Purwokerto which amounted to 292 students, with a research sample of 35 students of class VIII F and 36 students of class VIII G. The data collection method used was a test. The posttest results of the experimental class and control class were converted on a Likert scale. The data analysis techniques used are N-Gain, normality test, and t test. Based on the results of the independent sample t test on the average value of N-Gain of the experimental class and control class, the sig (2-tailed) value obtained is 0.000 which means less than 0.05 which is the limit of significance which shows that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between creative ice breaking and the learning motivation of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 09 Purwokerto

Abstract

The learning model is an important component in learning because an effective learning model will greatly assist in the learning process to achieve learning objectives, unfortunately it is not uncommon for the model applied in learning to appear monotonous and uniform without considering the characteristics of students, as an innovation, the differentiated learning model is present as a more democratic learning model because it considers the characteristics and needs of students so that learning runs interestingly and effectively. This study was conducted with the aim of finding out how the Implementation of the Differentiated Learning Model in Islamic Religious Education and Character Education Subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Bojongsari Purbalingga. This study is a type of field research that is compiled using qualitative methods, to collect data researchers use interview, observation and documentation methods. While the method for analyzing data uses data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research that has been carried out show that the differentiated learning model implemented in Islamic Religious Education and Character Education subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Bojongsari Purbalingga through the preparation stage, implementation stage, and evaluation stage. The preparation stage, namely the teacher has a role as a designer, facilitator and motivator. While the implementation stage is divided into three activities, namely preliminary, core and closing activities. And the final stage is the evaluation stage to determine the development of student learning which consists of formative and summative tests.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the process of implementing the Kupatan Senen Pahing tradition of the Bonokeling lineage children in Pekuncen Village, Jatilawang District, Banyumas Regency and to determine the values of moral education contained in the Kupatan Senen Pahing tradition. The researcher used a qualitative research type with an ethnographic approach. When analyzing the data, the researcher referred to James P. Spradley's theory. The theory describes 12 steps that researchers must take to reveal the formulation of the problems that have been prepared. The results of the study that the researcher obtained regarding the flow of the implementation of the Kupatan Senen Pahing tradition are that the Bonokeling lineage children gather at the Bedogol house, representatives of the Bonokeling lineage children perform the rikat pesarean of Kyai Bonokeling and friends, the Bonokeling lineage children gather at the Malang hall, the Bonokeling lineage children hold a deliberation, the Bonokeling lineage children perform mundu and continue with eating together. The moral education values contained in the Kupatan Senen Pahing tradition include the values of gratitude, tolerance, honoring guests, helping each other, justice, and preserving the environment.
