Abstract

Infectious diseases are diseases that move from one individual to another due to bacteria, viruses, fungi, or parasites that spread directly or indirectly. Syphilis is an infectious disease caused by the bacteria Treponema pallidum. In 2018-2022, there was a 70% increase in syphilis cases in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to formulate the SITRS model in infectious diseases, apply the model to syphilis data in Indonesia, determine the distribution pattern, identify the success of the syphilis elimination target in Indonesia in 2030. The research methods used are literature and applied studies. The SITRS model is a system of first-order nonlinear differential equations. The model was applied to syphilis data in Indonesia based on 2016-2022. Data from 2016 was used for initial values and 2017-2020 for parameter estimation to obtain the SITRS model on the spread of syphilis in Indonesia. Based on 2021-2022 data, the MAPE value obtained was 8.27% so the model is very accurate. Syphilis cases in Indonesia from 2016-2030 experienced an upward trend. In 2030, it is estimated that there will still be 155,735 syphilis sufferers so the syphilis elimination target is not to be achieved. Simulations are carried out by increasing treatment to 90% until 100% and reducing contact with syphilis sufferers to 0,05%, so that the target of syphilis elimination Indonesia in 2030 can be achieved

Abstract

Let  be a graph and  be an ordered subset of the vertex set og graph  The representation of a vertex  in  with respect to is defined as , where  is the distance between vertex  and  for all $ The set  is called a resolving set of  if the representation of every vertex in  is distinct. A resolving set with the minimum cardinality is called a basis of  and the cardinality of a basis of  is the metric dimension of the graph . A vertex in  is called an isolated vertex if there are no edges incident to . A resolving set  is called a non-isolated resolving set if the subgraph induced by does not contain isolated vertices. A non-isolated resolving set with the minimum cardinality is called an -basis of , and the number of its members is called the non-isolated resolving number of , nonated by . In this paper, we discuss non-isolated resolving numbers of a graph obtained from the corona product of two graphs. The corona product of graph  and graph , denoted by , is a graph obtained by taking one copy of  and as many copies of  as there are vertices in , then connecting every vertex from the -th copy of  to the -th vertex in . The results show that if  is a wheel graph or a fan graph, then the non-isolated resolving number of the corona product  depends on the number of vertices in the graph

Abstract

Exports play a vital role in supporting Indonesia’s economic growth, with crude palm oil (CPO) derivative products being among its top export commodities. China serves as a primary export destination, however, since 2019, shipments to the country have exhibited a declining trend. This study aims to analize the long-term and short-term determinants of Indonesian CPO derivative exports to China using the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model. This study uses secondary data sourced from Statistics Indonesia (BPS), National Bureau of Statistics of China (NBS China), International Monetary Fund (IMF), and Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia. The results of this study show that, in the long-term, the CPO production positively influences exports, whereas export prices have a negative effect. While in the short-term, exports and China's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the current and previous periods, as well as export duties, have a positive effect, whereas previous CPO production has a negative effect. These results highlight the significant roles of both domestic and external factors in shaping export performance, underscoring the need for strategies that address price fluctuations, ensure production stability, and consider the economic conditions and policies of trading partners

Abstract

Obesity is a complex public health issue that requires effective early identification strategies to mitigate its long-term health impacts. This study aimed to classify obesity levels, categorized as Underweight, Normal, Overweight, and Obese, using 14 predictors grouped into three domains: biological, dietary, and physical activity. In addition to developing an accurate predictive model, the study investigated which domain contributes most to obesity classification. Two complementary modeling strategies were applied: domain-specific decision tree models to evaluate the predictive strength of each domain independently, and a comprehensive model using eXtreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) trained on all predictors. To address class imbalance, SMOTENC oversampling was applied to the training set, and hyperparameter tuning was performed via cross-validation for both approaches. Evaluation on the test set showed that the XGBoost model outperformed the domain-based decision trees across all performance metrics, including balanced accuracy, precision, recall, specificity, and F1-score. While decision trees offered domain-level interpretability, they lacked the predictive power of the integrated model. SHAP (SHapley Additive Explanations) analysis revealed that influential features spanned all domains, with Age, Vegetable consumption, and Transportation type emerging as top predictors. These findings demonstrate that integrating multi-domain behavioral data enhances both the accuracy and interpretability of obesity classification models, supporting the use of interpretable machine learning for personalized health risk assessment and prevention strategies

Abstract

The discrete nonlinear Schrödinger equation is a differential equation that describes wave propagation in a discrete lattice. This equation has solutions with very interesting characteristics, namely solitons. Two types of solitons that can be obtained from this differential equation are on-site and inter-site solitons. The equation that is the focus of this study is the discrete nonlinear Schrödinger equation with saturable type nonlinearity. The on-site soliton solution in this study is obtained by substituting an ansatz into the equation to obtain a stationary equation. This stationary equation is then solved using Newton's method. The solution is then analyzed for stability by adding a perturbation term to the solution ansatz. This study aims to find the on-site soliton solution, analyze the effect of coupling parameters, nonlinearity, and trapping potential on the soliton profile, and analyze the stability of each solution obtained by the linear perturbation technique. The results show that variations in the values of the coupling parameters and the given nonlinearity and trapping potential affect the on-site soliton profile, both in terms of profile width and soliton amplitude. All obtained solutions are declared stable based on linear stability analysis.

Abstract

Traditional lecture scheduling systems are often inefficient, prone to conflicts, and lack transparency in teaching workload distribution. This study has developed a cloud-based automated timetabling system that integrates Google Workspace and WhatsApp to address the complexities of multi-level (undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral) course scheduling in higher education environments. The system combines constraint-based validation with a heuristic algorithm to enable real-time conflict detection and transparent distribution of credit-hour-based teaching loads. Implemented on a real-world dataset of 120 courses (including parallel classes), 11 classrooms, and 26 lecturers, the system successfully generated schedules less than 17 seconds. Real-time validation achieved a response time of 1.2 seconds per edit data in cell, and the automated notification module delivered teaching load summaries to 95% of lecturers via WhatsApp and email. The system improved administrative efficiency compared to manual processes and enhanced the accountability of academic resource management through real-time visibility and user-centric communication

Abstract

The dominating metric dimension of a graph is defined as the minimum cardinality of a set that is both a resolving set and a dominating set. A node is said to be an is a differentiating set if for every two different vertices  holds  and said to be a set of a dominant if there is at least one node adjacent to the set domination. The Globe  graph is a graph obtained from two protected vertices connected by  paths of length two. The Pendant Globe Graph is  is a graph obtained from a globe graph by adding paths along it . This research discusses the metric dimensions and dominant metric dimension on the globe graph  for  as well as metric dimensions on the pendant globe graph for  and . The method in this research begins with the concept of metric dimension, the concept of metric dimension then dominant continued with the introduction of the characteristics of globe graphs and pendant globe graphs. Furthermore, the metric dimension and dominance dimension will be sought in globe graphs and pendant globe graphs for  vertices.
