The term also draws inspiration from the Arabic word siraj (siraj), meaning lamp or light, as mentioned in the Quran as a symbol of illumination. In the context of this journal, SiRad represents an intellectual beacon that sheds light on academic discourse and social transformation. Jurnal SiRad: Pelita Wawasan is an open-access scholarly journal published by Yayasan Nurul Musthafa. This journal focuses on the publication of research articles, literature reviews, case studies, and conceptual papers that critically address contemporary issues in the fields of education, humanities, and social sciences. This journal serves as a platform for advancing transformative thinking, interdisciplinary approaches, and critical reflection on the dynamics of education, culture, society, and public policy. Topics covered by this journal include but are not limited to Education - learning technologies, religious moderation, curriculum innovation; Humanities - cultural studies, communication, history, and Islamic civilization; Social Sciences - public policy, political dynamics, behavioral economics, and the intersection of religion and society. Abstract

This study focus to analyze the extent and patterns of SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active-learning for Young Aspiring Minds) courses among college students in the National Capital Region (NCR). A purposive sampling technique was used to collect data through a questionnaire circulated as a Google form. A total of 112 college students constituted sample for study. The findings suggest that the majority of students (83.93%) showed interest in SWAYAM courses, while 16.07% expressed no interest. Additionally, 80.36% were willing to register in SWAYAM courses. However, only 22.32% of respondents had literally registered, with 77.68% yet to participate. Regarding familiarity, 61.60% of college students were aware of MOOCs, whereas 38.39% lacked awareness, indicating a significant knowledge gap. Opinions on the effectiveness of SWAYAM courses revealed that 41.07% perceived them as less effective than traditional learning methods, while 58.93% disagreed with this view. The main challenges reported were time management, with 64.28% reported it difficult to manage SWAYAM courses with their academic schedules. Also there is need of training as 63.39% felt challenged without prior training. [Studi ini berfokus untuk menganalisis sejauh mana pola penggunaan kursus SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active-learning for Young Aspiring Minds) di kalangan mahasiswa perguruan tinggi di National Capital Region (NCR). Teknik purposive sampling digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan dalam bentuk Google Form. Sebanyak 112 mahasiswa perguruan tinggi menjadi sampel dalam studi ini. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa (83,93%) menunjukkan minat pada kursus SWAYAM, sementara 16,07% menyatakan tidak berminat. Selain itu, 80,36% bersedia mendaftar di kursus SWAYAM. Namun, hanya 22,32% responden yang benar-benar telah mendaftar, sementara 77,68% sisanya belum berpartisipasi. Terkait keakraban dengan platform, 61,60% mahasiswa mengetahui tentang MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses), sedangkan 38,39% kurang mengetahuinya, yang mengindikasikan adanya celah pengetahuan yang signifikan. Opini mengenai efektivitas kursus SWAYAM mengungkapkan bahwa 41,07% menganggap kursus tersebut kurang efektif dibandingkan metode pembelajaran tradisional, sementara 58,93% tidak setuju dengan pandangan tersebut. Tantangan utama yang dilaporkan adalah manajemen waktu, di mana 64,28% merasa sulit untuk mengatur waktu antara kursus SWAYAM dengan jadwal akademik mereka. Selain itu, terdapat kebutuhan akan pelatihan karena 63,39% merasa kesulitan tanpa adanya pelatihan terlebih dahulu.]

Abstract

This study examined the frequency of gender-neutral language (GNL) use in the academic outputs of third-year Bachelor of Arts in English Language students at Bukidnon State University. Moreover, it explored the sociocultural factors influencing student use of GNL in academic contexts. The study utilized a convergent-parallel mixed-method design. It analysed students’ use of gender-neutral generic nouns, job titles, and pronouns across three written outputs (reflective essay, feature writing, and hard news writing) per participant. Guided by Linguistic Relativity and Social Constructionism Theory, the quantitative data consisted of frequency of corpus data, short checklist scores, and interview codes, which revealed the levels, patterns, and correlation of GNL use and awareness. Whereas the qualitative data were derived from interview excerpts, which clarified why these patterns occurred and how students made sense of GNL in authentic academic contexts. Findings revealed that students frequently used gender-neutral generic nouns and job titles, while gender-neutral pronouns were the least used due to hesitancy in restructuring sentences. Furthermore, this study revealed four sociocultural influences: awareness and knowledge, personal beliefs and values, cultural and societal norms, and globalized media. During the integration, the findings mostly converged when high awareness aligned with more accurate GNL use, while some findings diverged when students had positive attitudes but low grammatical accuracy. Overall, despite inconsistencies influenced by religious beliefs, traditional upbringing, and pronoun confusion, students demonstrated growing awareness of gender-neutral language. The merged findings provide a holistic basis for guiding gender-sensitive communication policies in academic contexts. [Penelitian ini mengkaji frekuensi penggunaan bahasa inklusif gender (gender-neutral language/GNL) dalam karya akademik mahasiswa tahun ketiga program studi Sastra Inggris di Bukidnon State University. Selain itu, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi faktor-faktor sosiokultural yang memengaruhi penggunaan GNL oleh mahasiswa dalam konteks akademik. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain metode campuran konvergen-paralel (convergent-parallel mixed-method). Analisis dilakukan terhadap penggunaan kata benda generik netral gender, gelar pekerjaan, dan kata ganti dalam tiga karya tulis (esai reflektif, tulisan feature, dan penulisan berita lugas/hard news) dari setiap partisipan. Dengan berlandaskan pada teori Relativitas Linguistik dan Konstruksionisme Sosial, data kuantitatif yang terdiri dari frekuensi data korpus, skor daftar periksa (checklist), dan kode wawancara, mengungkapkan tingkat, pola, serta korelasi antara penggunaan dan kesadaran GNL. Sementara itu, data kualitatif diperoleh dari kutipan wawancara yang mengklarifikasi alasan terjadinya pola-pola tersebut dan bagaimana mahasiswa memaknai GNL dalam konteks akademik yang autentik.Temuan menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa sering menggunakan kata benda generik dan gelar pekerjaan yang netral gender, sedangkan kata ganti netral gender paling jarang digunakan karena adanya keraguan dalam merestrukturisasi kalimat. Lebih lanjut, penelitian ini mengungkapkan empat pengaruh sosiokultural: kesadaran dan pengetahuan, keyakinan dan nilai pribadi, norma budaya dan masyarakat, serta media global. Selama proses integrasi, temuan-temuan tersebut sebagian besar menunjukkan konvergensi ketika kesadaran yang tinggi sejalan dengan penggunaan GNL yang lebih akurat, sementara beberapa temuan menunjukkan divergensi ketika mahasiswa memiliki sikap positif namun memiliki akurasi gramatikal yang rendah. Secara keseluruhan, terlepas dari inkonsistensi yang dipengaruhi oleh keyakinan religius, pola asuh tradisional, dan kebingungan penggunaan kata ganti, mahasiswa menunjukkan kesadaran yang berkembang terhadap bahasa inklusif gender. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the basic understanding of senior high school students and Islamic boarding school (pesantren) students who constitute the target market of the Islamic Economics Study Program at Universitas Islam Indonesia regarding non-halal food ingredients. The study employed a mixed-method approach, providing an overview of differences in understanding through both quantitative and qualitative analyses. A survey was conducted involving 332 respondents, consisting of male and female students from various schools and pesantren in the Special Region of Yogyakarta and Central Java. Quantitative analysis was carried out descriptively to identify differences in understanding based on gender and school background. Meanwhile, qualitative analysis explored the underlying factors contributing to differences in responses. The results indicate that the majority of pesantren students do not yet have a comprehensive understanding of halal law and its practical implementation. Differences in understanding were also clearly observed between male and female students, as well as among schools. Therefore, a specifically designed educational program is needed to enhance their understanding and to further strengthen awareness of halal issues. [Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemahaman sederhana siswa SMA dan santri pesantren yang menjadi target pasar program studi ekonomi Islam Universitas Islam Indonesia terkait pemahaman mereka akan bahan makanan non-halal. Metode yang digunakan adalah mixed method, yang memberikan gambaran tentang perbedaan pemahaman melalui analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Survei dilakukan pada 332 responden, yang terdiri dari siswa putra dan putri di berbagai sekolah dan pesantren di DIY, Jawa Tengah. Analisis kuantitatif dilakukan secara deskriptif untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaan pemahaman berdasarkan jenis kelamin dan sekolah. Sementara itu, analisis kualitatif mendalami faktor-faktor yang melatarbelakangi perbedaan jawaban. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas santri belum memahami secara mendalam hukum halal dan cara penerapannya. Perbedaan pemahaman juga terlihat jelas antara putra dan putri, serta antar sekolah. Abstract

This research explores the intersection of race, class, and disability in current American literature through a scrutiny of The Salt Eaters by Toni Cade Bambara and Salvage the Bones by Jesmyn Ward. It delves into the way sidelined identities, especially Black, disabled, and poor people, are depicted and the way these representations challenge prevailing narratives of the status quo and value as far as the U.S. society is concerned. The research utilizes a qualitative methodology embedded in intersectional feminist literary criticism and critical disability studies and concentrates on thematic construction, character improvement, and narrative voice. The results exhibit that both writers demonstrate disability as societally and politically structured instead of medicalized, and they challenge its conventional descriptions. The lived realism of racial segregation and poverty is focused on by the novels, emphasizing the way struggle and continued existence are negotiated through non-normative quintessence, ethnic memory, and community. The research adds to an increasing body of scholarship that insists on the requirement of intersectionality in literary exploration, accentuating the role of literature as a space for political involvement and struggle amongst communities that face numerous forms of marginalization [Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi persinggungan antara ras, kelas sosial, dan disabilitas dalam sastra Amerika kontemporer melalui kajian terhadap The Salt Eaters karya Toni Cade Bambara dan Salvage the Bones karya Jesmyn Ward. Penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana identitas-identitas yang termarginalkan, khususnya kelompok kulit hitam, penyandang disabilitas, dan masyarakat miskin, direpresentasikan serta bagaimana representasi tersebut menantang narasi dominan mengenai status sosial dan nilai kemanusiaan dalam masyarakat Amerika Serikat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif yang berlandaskan kritik sastra feminis interseksional dan studi disabilitas kritis, dengan fokus pada konstruksi tema, pengembangan karakter, dan suara naratif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua penulis merepresentasikan disabilitas sebagai sesuatu yang dibentuk oleh struktur sosial dan politik, bukan semata-mata sebagai kondisi medis, sekaligus menantang penggambaran konvensional mengenai disabilitas. Kedua novel tersebut juga menyoroti realitas kehidupan yang dipengaruhi oleh segregasi rasial dan kemiskinan, dengan menekankan bagaimana perjuangan dan keberlangsungan hidup dinegosiasikan melalui identitas yang nonnormatif, memori budaya, dan solidaritas komunitas. Abstract

Complex relationship between renewable energy deployment, governance quality, and energy justice outcomes across different countries. Given the global transition towards renewable energy (RE) as a means to mitigate climate change, the research examines how varying political and economic structures, along with socio-ecological trade-offs, affect the equitable distribution of the benefits and burdens of energy transitions. Using a panel dataset of global countries from 2000 to 2025, the study employs fixed-effects regression models and structural equation modeling (SEM) to test the effects of renewable energy expansion on energy justice, with particular attention to the mediating role of socio-ecological impacts such as land-use changes and local conflicts. Findings reveal that while RE deployment is positively associated with environmental sustainability, it does not always lead to improvements in energy justice. In some cases, it exacerbates inequalities in energy access and affordability, particularly in countries with weak governance and highly concentrated energy markets. Structural equation modeling reveals that while economic mechanisms function as significant mediators, the indirect pathway through socio-ecological trade-offs is statistically non-significant, indicating a decoupling between localized ecological impacts and macro-level energy justice outcomes. Research underscores importance of integrating political economy and governance considerations into renewable energy policy to achieve fair and just energy outcomes globally. [Penelitian ini mengkaji hubungan yang kompleks antara implementasi energi terbarukan, kualitas tata kelola, dan hasil keadilan energi di berbagai negara. Seiring dengan transisi global menuju energi terbarukan (renewable energy/RE) sebagai upaya mitigasi perubahan iklim, penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana perbedaan struktur politik dan ekonomi, serta berbagai kompromi sosio-ekologis, memengaruhi distribusi yang adil atas manfaat dan beban dari transisi energi. Dengan menggunakan data panel berbagai negara di dunia selama periode 2000–2025, penelitian ini menerapkan model regresi efek tetap (fixed-effects regression models) dan structural equation modeling (SEM) untuk menguji pengaruh perluasan energi terbarukan terhadap keadilan energi, dengan perhatian khusus pada peran mediasi dampak sosio-ekologis seperti perubahan penggunaan lahan dan konflik lokal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun implementasi energi terbarukan berhubungan positif dengan keberlanjutan lingkungan, hal tersebut tidak selalu menghasilkan peningkatan keadilan energi. Dalam beberapa kasus, implementasi energi terbarukan justru memperburuk ketimpangan dalam akses dan keterjangkauan energi, terutama di negara-negara dengan tata kelola yang lemah dan pasar energi yang sangat terkonsentrasi. Hasil structural equation modeling mengungkapkan bahwa mekanisme ekonomi berfungsi sebagai mediator yang signifikan, sedangkan jalur tidak langsung melalui kompromi sosio-ekologis tidak signifikan secara statistik. Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has changed from a simple subordinate device to a pedagogical mediator in the language learning process. In resource-poor environments such as Afghanistan, higher education institutions face the challenges of instructor shortages, limited language practice, and a lack of educational resources. This study evaluated the role of ChatGPT as a pedagogical mediator for German language students at Nangarhar University. Data were collected from 90 students through a questionnaire, which involved usage patterns, adaptive feedback, reduced learning concern, and learner autonomy. The results presented that ChatGPT supports language practice, instant and adaptive feedback, a low-anxiety situation, and learner autonomy. These findings are consistent with Vygotsky’s Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD), Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), and the Input–Interaction–Output model, and support the role of ChatGPT as a helper, not a substitute for the instructor. The study recommends that integrating ChatGPT into the language curriculum can develop learning consequences, and instructors properly integrate AI tools into the curriculum, certifying that they are consistent with instructor guidelines, ethics, and curriculum. [Kecerdasan Buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) telah berkembang dari sekadar perangkat pendukung sederhana menjadi mediator pedagogis dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa. Di lingkungan dengan sumber daya terbatas seperti Afghanistan, institusi pendidikan tinggi menghadapi berbagai tantangan, termasuk keterbatasan jumlah pengajar, minimnya kesempatan praktik berbahasa, dan kurangnya sumber daya pendidikan. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi peran ChatGPT sebagai mediator pedagogis bagi mahasiswa bahasa Jerman di Universitas Nangarhar. Data dikumpulkan dari 90 mahasiswa melalui kuesioner yang mencakup pola penggunaan, umpan balik adaptif, pengurangan kecemasan belajar, dan kemandirian belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ChatGPT mendukung praktik berbahasa, memberikan umpan balik yang cepat dan adaptif, menciptakan situasi belajar dengan tingkat kecemasan yang lebih rendah, serta meningkatkan kemandirian peserta didik. Temuan ini sejalan dengan konsep Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) dari Vygotsky, Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), serta model Input–Interaction–Output, dan mendukung peran ChatGPT sebagai pendamping pembelajaran, bukan sebagai pengganti pengajar. Abstract

In the context of the rapid digital transformation of the financial sector, credit scoring systems are increasingly relying on big data and algorithmic techniques to assess individuals’ creditworthiness. This study aims to analyse legal gaps concerning rights over financial data in digital credit scoring practices, while also clarifying the level of consumer vulnerability within algorithm-driven decision-making environments. The paper employs a doctrinal legal analysis combined with comparative legal methods and an interdisciplinary approach, particularly integrating insights from behavioural economics to explain the impact of information asymmetry and bounded rationality on consumers within the digital financial ecosystem. The findings indicate that the current legal framework has not clearly established financial data control rights, and there remain significant deficiencies in transparency mechanisms and accountability structures governing automated credit scoring systems. On this basis, the study proposes several policy directions to strengthen consumers’ control over their data, enhance algorithmic transparency, and improve supervisory mechanisms in the digital financial sector. [Dalam konteks transformasi digital yang berkembang pesat di sektor keuangan, sistem penilaian kredit (credit scoring) semakin bergantung pada big data dan teknik algoritmik untuk menilai kelayakan kredit individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesenjangan hukum yang berkaitan dengan hak atas data keuangan dalam praktik penilaian kredit digital, sekaligus menjelaskan tingkat kerentanan konsumen dalam lingkungan pengambilan keputusan yang didorong oleh algoritma. Artikel ini menggunakan metode analisis hukum doktrinal yang dipadukan dengan metode hukum komparatif dan pendekatan interdisipliner, khususnya dengan mengintegrasikan perspektif ekonomi perilaku (behavioural economics) untuk menjelaskan dampak asimetri informasi dan rasionalitas terbatas (bounded rationality) terhadap konsumen dalam ekosistem keuangan digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kerangka hukum yang berlaku saat ini belum secara jelas menetapkan hak pengendalian atas data keuangan. Selain itu, masih terdapat kekurangan yang signifikan dalam mekanisme transparansi dan struktur akuntabilitas yang mengatur sistem penilaian kredit otomatis. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, penelitian ini mengusulkan beberapa arah kebijakan untuk memperkuat kendali konsumen atas data mereka, meningkatkan transparansi algoritma, serta memperbaiki mekanisme pengawasan di sektor keuangan digital.]

Abstract

The moral decline of students has become one of the serious challenges in the field of education, characterized by the deterioration of moral values, discipline, responsibility, and social awareness. This phenomenon is influenced by various factors, including technological advancement, social environment, weak character education, and the decreasing internalization of spiritual values within the educational process. In this context, Zakiah Daradjat’s concept of Islamic educational psychology is highly relevant, as it offers an approach that integrates psychological aspects with Islamic values in shaping students’ personalities. This study aims to analyze the concept of Islamic educational psychology according to Zakiah Daradjat and its relevance in addressing students’ moral decline. The research employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method based on the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) framework. The research process involved the identification, screening, quality assessment, and synthesis of literature obtained from various relevant academic databases. Literature meeting the inclusion criteria was then qualitatively analyzed to gain a comprehensive understanding of Zakiah Daradjat’s concepts and their implementation in Islamic education. The findings reveal that Zakiah Daradjat emphasizes the importance of balancing physical and spiritual aspects in education, strengthening religious education, fostering mental health, promoting educators’ role modeling, and enhancing the roles of family and environment in students’ character development. The study also demonstrates that the Islamic educational psychology approach developed by Zakiah Daradjat has strong relevance in addressing the challenges of moral decline in the modern era, as it integrates intellectual, emotional, and spiritual dimensions holistically. Therefore, Zakiah Daradjat’s ideas can serve as a conceptual foundation for the development of Islamic education oriented toward character building and the cultivation of noble moral values among students. [Dekadensi moral peserta didik menjadi salah satu permasalahan serius dalam dunia pendidikan yang ditandai dengan menurunnya nilai-nilai akhlak, disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan kepedulian sosial. Fenomena ini dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, seperti perkembangan teknologi, lingkungan sosial, lemahnya pendidikan karakter, serta berkurangnya internalisasi nilai-nilai spiritual dalam proses pendidikan. Dalam konteks tersebut, pemikiran Zakiah Daradjat mengenai psikologi pendidikan Islam menjadi relevan karena menawarkan pendekatan yang mengintegrasikan aspek psikologis dan nilai-nilai keislaman dalam pembentukan kepribadian peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep psikologi pendidikan Islam menurut Zakiah Daradjat serta relevansinya dalam menghadapi dekadensi moral peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan mengacu pada tahapan Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA). Proses penelitian dilakukan melalui identifikasi, penyaringan, evaluasi kualitas, dan sintesis terhadap literatur yang diperoleh dari berbagai basis data akademik yang relevan. Literatur yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang komprehensif mengenai konsep dan implementasi pemikiran Zakiah Daradjat dalam pendidikan Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Zakiah Daradjat menekankan pentingnya keseimbangan antara aspek jasmani dan rohani dalam pendidikan, penguatan pendidikan agama, pembentukan kesehatan mental, keteladanan pendidik, serta peran keluarga dan lingkungan dalam pembinaan karakter peserta didik. Temuan penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan psikologi pendidikan Islam yang dikembangkan Zakiah Daradjat memiliki relevansi yang kuat dalam menghadapi tantangan dekadensi moral di era modern karena mampu mengintegrasikan dimensi intelektual, emosional, dan spiritual secara holistik. Abstract

This study examines the enduring influence of African traditional beliefs and practices on healthcare utilisation in Anambra State, Nigeria. Despite the availability of modern health facilities, many people in the region still interpret illness through spiritual and cultural lenses, including ancestral displeasure, witchcraft, and supernatural forces. The research investigated how these beliefs affect decisions about when, where, and from whom to seek medical help. A multistage cross-sectional research design was adopted, utilizing quantitative and qualitative approaches. Data were collected through semi-structured questionnaires administered to healthcare professionals and members of the public, as well as in-depth interviews with traditional healers, medical practitioners, and patients. Secondary sources, including journal articles, government documents, health reports, and other relevant literature, were also consulted to provide theoretical and empirical support for the study. The study shows that traditional explanations of illness often guide initial treatment choices, leading many to consult traditional healers, herbalists, or spiritualists before or alongside orthodox medical services. Factors such as the perceived nature of the illness, age, and level of education appear to affect these choices. The findings highlight that while traditional practices offer emotional and cultural comfort, they sometimes cause delays in seeking timely biomedical care. The study concludes that any meaningful improvement in healthcare utilisation in Anambra State must involve culturally sensitive integration of both traditional and modern systems rather than outright replacement of one with the other. [Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh yang terus bertahan dari kepercayaan dan praktik tradisional Afrika terhadap pemanfaatan layanan kesehatan di Negara Bagian Anambra, Nigeria. Meskipun fasilitas kesehatan modern tersedia, banyak masyarakat di wilayah tersebut masih menafsirkan penyakit melalui perspektif spiritual dan budaya, termasuk ketidaksenangan leluhur, sihir, dan kekuatan supranatural. Penelitian ini menyelidiki bagaimana kepercayaan tersebut memengaruhi keputusan mengenai kapan, di mana, dan kepada siapa seseorang mencari bantuan medis. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian potong lintang (cross-sectional) bertahap (multistage) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner semi-terstruktur yang diberikan kepada tenaga kesehatan dan anggota masyarakat, serta wawancara mendalam dengan tabib tradisional, praktisi medis, dan pasien. Sumber data sekunder, termasuk artikel jurnal, dokumen pemerintah, laporan kesehatan, dan literatur relevan lainnya, juga digunakan untuk memberikan dukungan teoretis dan empiris bagi penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penjelasan tradisional mengenai penyakit sering kali menjadi dasar pilihan pengobatan awal, sehingga banyak orang lebih memilih berkonsultasi dengan tabib tradisional, herbalis, atau pemuka spiritual sebelum atau bersamaan dengan memanfaatkan layanan medis modern. Faktor-faktor seperti persepsi terhadap jenis penyakit, usia, dan tingkat pendidikan tampaknya memengaruhi pilihan tersebut. Temuan penelitian menegaskan bahwa meskipun praktik tradisional memberikan kenyamanan emosional dan budaya, praktik tersebut terkadang menyebabkan keterlambatan dalam memperoleh layanan kesehatan biomedis yang tepat waktu. Abstract

The Roman-Germanic legal system (Civil Law) is considered one of the most important legal systems in the world, which has had a profound impact on the development of law, the organization of civil laws, and the development of legal principles. This legal system, which has historical roots in ancient Roman law, developed as a result of legal, philosophical, and scientific developments in Europe and was later transferred to many countries around the world. The study aims to evaluate and analyze the role of legal schools in the development of the Roman-Germanic legal system. The study was conducted based on the legal analysis method and used primary and secondary sources to collect data. Secondary data, scientific works, and legal theories related to the Roman-Germanic legal system, legal schools, natural law, lawmaking, and comparative law were studied. In addition, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 15 university lecturers of law faculties of private universities in Nangarhar province to analyze the practical and scientific aspects of the subject. The findings of the study indicated that the Schools of Glossators, the School of Post-Glossators, the Humanist School, the School of Natural Law, and the Enlightenment School played an important role in the intellectual, legislative, and judicial structure of the Romano-Germanic legal system. These schools played a fundamental role in the formulation of law, the organization of legal principles, the development of judicial interpretation, and the strengthening of the concepts of justice and human rights. The study also shows that the Romano-Germanic legal system still has a profound influence on contemporary civil legal systems around the world. [Sistem hukum Romano-Germanik (Civil Law) dianggap sebagai salah satu sistem hukum terpenting di dunia yang telah memberikan pengaruh besar terhadap perkembangan hukum, penyusunan hukum perdata, serta pengembangan prinsip-prinsip hukum. Sistem hukum ini memiliki akar historis dalam hukum Romawi kuno dan berkembang sebagai hasil dari perkembangan hukum, filsafat, dan ilmu pengetahuan di Eropa, yang kemudian diadopsi oleh banyak negara di berbagai belahan dunia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dan menganalisis peran berbagai aliran hukum dalam perkembangan sistem hukum Romano-Germanik. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode analisis hukum serta memanfaatkan sumber data primer dan sekunder. Data sekunder, karya-karya ilmiah, dan teori-teori hukum yang berkaitan dengan sistem hukum Romano-Germanik, aliran hukum, hukum alam, pembentukan hukum, dan hukum perbandingan dikaji secara mendalam. Selain itu, wawancara semi-terstruktur dilakukan terhadap 15 dosen fakultas hukum dari beberapa universitas swasta di Provinsi Nangarhar untuk menganalisis aspek praktis dan akademik dari topik penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Mazhab Glossator (School of Glossators), Mazhab Pasca-Glossator (School of Post-Glossators), Mazhab Humanis (Humanist School), Mazhab Hukum Alam (School of Natural Law), dan Mazhab Pencerahan (Enlightenment School) memainkan peran penting dalam struktur intelektual, legislatif, dan yudisial sistem hukum Romano-Germanik. Aliran-aliran tersebut berperan mendasar dalam pembentukan hukum, penataan prinsip-prinsip hukum, pengembangan interpretasi yudisial, serta penguatan konsep keadilan dan hak asasi manusia.
