Abstract

        This study aims to describe the implementation of differentiated learning in the context of the Merdeka Curriculum in Fine Arts lessons at SDN 5 Banawa. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of this study include the school principal, four teachers, and 26 fourth-grade students. Data collection techniques used in this study include observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The data validity was tested using source triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of differentiated learning in the Merdeka Curriculum for Fine Arts at SDN 5 Banawa has been carried out effectively. The fourth-grade teacher has successfully identified students' learning styles and addressed their learning needs. Students were grouped according to their characteristics, interests, and talents. Differentiated learning was carried out through several stages, such as initial assessment, preparation of teaching materials, and grouping students based on their abilities. The majority of students agreed that group learning met their learning needs.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the strengthening of the Pancasila Student Profile in Generation Alpha through character education in elementary schools. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method and a meta-synthesis approach, this study integrates findings from 15 scientific articles related to student character development in the context of Merdeka Curriculum. The results show that project-based character education is effective in shaping the dimensions of the Pancasila Learner Profile, such as critical reasoning, creativity, independence, and mutual cooperation. The main challenges include students' low learning motivation and teachers' difficulties in integrating technology in learning. Proposed strategies include the use of technology-based interactive modules and increased collaboration between teachers, students and parents. This research provides strategic guidance for the implementation of character education relevant to Generation Alpha's learning style

Abstract

Natural and Social Sciences Learning (IPAS) aims to develop students' ability to understand and apply scientific and social concepts in daily life, as well as to improve their scientific and social literacy. However, the reality is that there are still many students who have difficulty understanding the material and are less interested in science subjects, especially in science material. This study aims to determine the influence of the multimedia-assisted Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model on student learning outcomes in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subjects in grade IV of SDN Ungkaya. The research method used was a quasi-experiment (Quasi Experiment) with a Nonequivalent (Pretest and Posttest) Control Group Design. Data analysis uses prerequisite tests, namely, normality test and homogeneity test as well as hypothesis testing using the Independent Sample T-test and N-gain test assisted by the SPSS version 30 program. The results showed that there was a significant influence of the multimedia-assisted Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model on student learning outcomes, with the Independent sample T-Test Two-Sided test score p = 0.019. The results of the T-Test showed that the significance value of Two-Sided p < 0.05. The results of the study also showed an average N-gain value of 0.7524 which was categorized as high effectiveness. It can be concluded that the multimedia-assisted Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model is effective and can have a positive effect on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the role of school literacy activity programs, obstacles and efforts in increasing students' interest in reading in elementary schools. This research method is a systematic literature review (SLR) method using a descriptive qualitative approach, with research subjects being school principals, teachers and students. Data collection techniques are through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion. Based on the data obtained, it shows that: The literacy culture implemented in schools plays an important role in students' interest in reading, obstacles in carrying out literacy activities at school and the efforts made by the school to overcome obstacles. The results of this research conclude that The School Literacy Movement can increase students' interest in reading in elementary schools

Abstract

This study aims to show the ways of politeness in language that students apply to teachers. The main focus of this study is the expressions that contain elements of politeness in language, as well as the methods and strategies used by students. Politeness in language basically reflects our social ethics in society. The principle of politeness is usually applied in every language interaction. In theory, all individuals should speak in a polite manner. Everyone must maintain communication ethics so that the purpose of interacting can be achieved. The findings obtained include that politeness in language includes linguistic aspects, namely in terms of word choice, sentence structure, mode, and use of punctuation. This study focuses on describing the application of politeness in language which is very important, especially between teachers and elementary school students, because in communication, all teachers and students are expected to use polite language. The subjects in this study consisted of 8 students. The data analysis method used is intralingual. The results of this study show, 1) there are 5 types of maxims found from a total of 6 maxims, while the maxim of sympathy is not identified, 2) there are at least 8 techniques in positive politeness strategies and 5 techniques in negative politeness strategies, 3) most of the students' expressions use the politeness scale according to Leech, namely the cost-benefit scale, which is more widely applied.

Abstract

Reading books increases insight and knowledge, a high interest in reading has a positive impact on elementary school students by expanding vocabulary, improving writing skills, and increasing focus and concentration. This research aims to determine the effect of the reading corner on the reading interest of class IV students at SD Negeri 1 Trenceng, Sumbergempol District, Tulungagung Regency. Interest in reading is a determining factor in learning success, but low interest in reading is still a challenge. This research uses a survey method with a quantitative approach, involving 52 fourth grade students as subjects. Data collection used Likert scale questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The findings show that the reading corner has a positive impact on students' reading interest. Active use of reading corners increases the frequency of reading books, especially those relevant to Indonesian language lessons. Students become more enthusiastic about seeking additional information, increasing understanding of the material. Factors such as diverse book collections, attractive reading corner designs, and teacher support in motivating students have proven to play an important role in fostering interest in reading Membaca buku akan menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan. Minat membaca yang tinggi juga membawa dampak positif bagi siswa sekolah dasar, seperti menambah ilmu pengetahuan, menambah kosakata, menambah kemampuan menulis, serta melatih fokus dan konsentrasi belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dengan adanya pojok baca untuk menumbuhkan minat baca siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Trenceng Kecamatan Sumbergempol Kabupaten Tulungagung. Minat baca merupakan faktor penting dalam keberhasilan pembelajaran, terutama dalam memahami materi pelajaran. Namun, rendahnya minat baca siswa menjadi tantangan yang harus diatasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas III yang berjumlah 52 siswa. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa angket skala likert untuk mengukur minat baca siswa, Wawancara, Dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan pojok baca memberikan dampak positif terhadap minat baca siswa. Siswa yang memanfaatkan pojok baca secara aktif menunjukkan peningkatan frekuensi membaca buku, terutama buku-buku yang relevan dengan materi pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Selain itu, siswa juga lebih antusias dalam mencari informasi tambahan melalui pojok baca, sehingga membantu mereka memahami materi pelajaran dengan lebih baik. Faktor-faktor seperti keberagaman koleksi buku, desain pojok baca yang menarik, dan dukungan guru dalam memotivasi siswa terbukti berperan penting dalam menumbuhkan minat baca.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the professional competence of teachers on the learning achievement of Grade VI students at SD Karuna Dipa Palu. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with the research location at SD Karuna Dipa Palu with 25 grade VI students. Data collection by means of observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Using data reduction analysis techniques, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of research on teacher professional competence on the learning achievement of grade VI students at SD Karuna Dipa Palu show that class teachers already have professional competence in teaching and affect student learning achievement for the better. This can be seen from the analysis of the majority of student responses showing positive results on indicators of teacher professional competence including mastery of learning materials, understanding of students, planning and implementing learning, assessing and evaluating learning, effective communication and innovation in teaching which means teachers have good competence in teaching. In addition, the school also supports the development of teacher competence through continuous training and facilities

Abstract

The research problem in this study is: What aspects of the Kaili local culture are relevant as learning resources for the theme my living environment in grade IV of SDN 18 Banawa? The objective of this research is to describe the local culture and analyze its content as a learning resource for the theme my living Environment in grade IV of SDN 18 Banawa. This study employs a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design. The subjects of this research include teachers, grade IV students at SDN 18 Banawa, and community leaders in the Banawa subdistrict. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, literature review, and documentation. The data analysis techniques involve data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study conducted at SDN 18 Banawa, the local culture in the Banawa subdistrict that can be utilized as learning resources includes the Gonenggati folklore, Posisani songs, and Pusentasi tourism. This is evidenced by the Gonenggati folklore, Posisani songs, and Pusentasi tourism being local cultural elements still known by some members of the community, yet they have not been integrated into Grade IV learning, particularly in themes 1, 5, 7, 8, and 9. Utilizing Kaili local culture in the Banawa subdistrict as a learning resource is expected to help preserve local culture across generations.

Abstract

The problem in this study is what are the difficulties in learning PPKn for grade V students of SDN 19 Sirenja? and how to overcome the learning difficulties of PPKn grade V students of SDN 19 Sirenja?. The purpose of this study is to identify learning difficulties in PPKn class V SDN 19 Sirenja and to find out how to overcome learning difficulties in PPKn class V SDN 19 Sirenja. This type of research is qualitative research. The data collection in this study is interviews, observations, and documentation related to student learning difficulties. Data analysis techniques in qualitative research are carried out during data collection, and after the completion of data collection in a certain period. The results of this study are known to describe the learning difficulties of the students studied, most of whom are difficult to understand the material, difficulty understanding the learning media, lack of concentration, lack of attention in learning, slowness when processing learning materials, difficulty understanding sentences, unclear intonation, low learning outcomes.

Abstract

The utilization of BOS funds is very important to improve student activities in primary schools, this is because BOS funds have a strategic role in improving the quality of education, particularly in supporting student activities in primary schools. Student activities include various programs that aim to improve students' overall abilities, including academics, arts, sports and character. This study aims to determine the utilization of BOS funds to improve student activities at SD Inpres 2 Kamonji. The method used was descriptive qualitative, with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results showed that the planned and transparent allocation of BOS funds significantly increased student participation in extracurricular activities, training, and competitions, as well as the procurement of supporting facilities and infrastructure. However, problems such as bureaucracy, managers who do not understand, and limited budgets are still problems that must be overcome. BOS funds have great potential to foster a more inclusive learning environment and support the full development of students' potential with better management.
