Jounal of Contemporary Indonesian Islam (JCII) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published by the Postgraduate Program of UIN Sultanah Nahrasiyah Lhokseumawe, Aceh, Indonesia. The journal is published twice a year (June and December) both in online and printed versions. JCII is committed to providing a scholarly platform for the dissemination of original research articles, reviews, and critical essays on Islamic studies and humanities with a particular emphasis on the dynamics of Indonesian and contemporary Muslim societies. The journal aims to foster academic dialogue and advance interdisciplinary approaches in understanding Islam in various contexts. Focus and Scope The focus of JCII is on contemporary studies of Islam and their intersections with humanities and social sciences. Abstract

Tugas guru tidak terbatas pada memberikan informasi kepada murid namun tugas guru lebih komprehensif dari itu. Selain mengajar dan membekali murid dengan pengetahuan, guru juga harus menyiapkan mereka agar mandiri dan memberdayakan bakat murid di berbagai bidang, mendisiplinkan moral mereka, membimbing hasrat dan menanamkan kebajikan dalam jiwa mereka. Oleh karena itu, untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut peneliti membuat rumusan masalah: Bagaimana Eksistensi edukasi guru dalam melakukan preventif perilaku bulling di Dayah Terpadu Jami’ah Az Zanjabil?. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini, yaitu: Untuk menjelaskan eksistensi edukatif guru dalam melakukan preventif perilaku bulling di Dayah Terpadu Jami’ah Az Zanjabil. Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif, pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Eksistensi edukasi guru dalam melakukan preventif perilaku bullying di Dayah Terpadu Jami’ah Az Zanjabil adalah menanamkan pemahaman Agama, menerapkan sanksi bagi siswa yang melakukan bullying terhadap temannya. Kata Kunci: Eksistensi Edukasi Guru, Preventif Perilaku Bullying.

Abstract

Kondisi akhlak masyarakat jahiliyah sebelum kedatangan Islam sangat dipengaruhi oleh ketidaktahuan atau kesalahan dalam pemahaman aqidah yang benar. Praktek-praktek yang melanggar moralitas, seperti perjudian, minuman keras, durhaka kepada orang tua, dzalim kepda tetangga juga umum terjadi dalam masyarakat jahiliyah. Hal ini terjadi karena kurangnya pemahaman yang benar tentang aqidah yang mencakup konsep-konsep seperti takwa, keadilan, dan kesucian. Oleh karena itu, ketika aqidah tidak benar atau belum benar dipahami, hal ini berdampak negatif pada akhlak masyarakat. Padahal begitu banyak contoh-contoh yang sudah dipraktekkan oleh Rasulullah Saw baik itu bersumber dari hadis-hadis shahih ataupun dari sejarah yang dituliskan oleh para ulama. Dari permasalahan tersebut, maka dapat dibuat rumusan masalah: 1. Bagaimana implikasi aqidah era Rasulullah Saw terhadap perbaikan akhlak manusia dengan Allah Swt? 2. Bagaimana implikasi aqidah era Rasulullah Saw terhadap perbaikan akhlak manusia dengan sesama manusia? 3. Bagaimana implikasi aqidah era Rasulullah Saw terhadap perbaikan akhlak manusi dengan lingkungan sekitar? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana implikasi aqidah era Rasulullah Saw terhadap perbaikan akhlak manusia dengan Allah Swt, manusia sesama manusia dan manusia dengan lingkungan sekitar. Jenis penelitian yang penulis gunakan adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif (library research). Penelitian ini menggunakan kajian hadis dan sejarah dengan pendekatan yang penulis gunakan adalah pendekatan tekstual dan kontektual. Sedangkan sifat penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Adapun pengumpulan data dengan bentuk dokumentasi. Tehnik analisis data penulis menggunakan analisis isi (content analisis). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implikasi aqidah era Rasulullah Saw terhadap perbaikan akhlak manusia dengan Allah Swt, sesama manusia dan dengan lingkungan sekitar yaitu : bertambah kokohnya keyakinan kepada Allah Swt, semakin cinta akan sunnah-sunnah Rasulullah Saw, makin meningkat bentuk birrul walidain, akan semakin terjaga hak-hak tetangga, tidak berbuat dzalim walaupun kepada hewan dan tumbuhan terjaga keasriannya. Dengan hasil demikian, maka masih sangat relevan apa yang peneliti tuliskan di sini untuk diterapkan oleh masyarakat zaman modern ini sehingga akhlak-akhlak generasi dewasa ini sesuai dengan apa yang dulu pernah di contohkan oleh Rasulullah Saw. Kata Kunci : Implikasi, Aqidah Era Rasulullah Saw, Perbaikan Akhlak.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain andragogy education contained in al-Kahf verses 70-82, and to describe the implementation of andragogy education contained in sura al-Kahfi verses 70-82 in Islamic education in the contemporary era. Literary qualitative research using the mawdhūi method with primary data sources of interpretations of Tarbawi, al-Maraghi, Munir, and secondary data sources of books and journals in andragogy education and Islamic education. The results of the research are 1) andragogy education in al-Kahfi verses 70-82 of the prophet Khidir as an educator has good physical and spiritual abilities in teaching the prophet Musa, Prophet Musa as a student has academic ethics towards teachers, ethics of dialogue, there is educational value and already applied. 2) Application of andragogy education in al-Kahfi verses 70-82 in the present era or the era of information and communication technology, namely the method of providing convenience, the question and answer method, the demonstration method, the Targhib wa Tarhib method, the evaluation method and games combined using the Youtube application, video conference, Voice note, Google slide, Padlet, Google Form, Google Jamboard, Ideaboardz, Webex meet, targib wa tarhib, Quizizz, Kahoot and Mentimeter, visual, audio and visual audio based technologies can be applied

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of Abdullah Nashih 'Ulwan's concept of moral education in shaping the character of students at SMP Negeri 2 Kuta Blang Bireuen.  The formation of noble morals through character education should be able to form commendable behaviors and noble morals in students. the type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive research approach. The purpose of this research is to explain the concept of Akhlak Education Abdullah Nashih 'Ulwan. The results of this study indicate that. 1) The concept of Abdullah Nashih 'Ulwan's moral education used is education by example, education by habituation, education by advice, education by attention and monitoring and education by appropriate punishment. 2) The implementation of Abdullah Nashih 'Ulwan's five concepts of moral education is carried out during the teaching and learning process, extracurricular activities and all the time when students are at school, the efforts made by teachers in implementing the concept of 'Ulwan's moral education are teachers coming to school on time, greeting kindly when students come, giving good advice, paying attention to student conditions and giving proper punishment if students make mistakes.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education is a conscious and planned effort in teaching and learning activities to prepare students to develop potential through guiding, training and directing activities and practicing as an effort to achieve the unity of the National Education Curriculum, especially for children with special needs. therefore, in this study want to examine (1) how the planning of PAI teachers in learning Islamic Religious Education in Learning Ablution Practices of children with special needs at SLB Negeri Pembina Bener Meriah; (2) Teaching methods of PAI teachers in Learning Ablution Practices of children with special needs at SLB Negeri Pembina Bener Meriah. This research uses case study research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research obtained: (1) planning done by PAI teachers in learning ablution practices in children with special needs in SLB Negeri Pembina Bener Meriah is referring to the curriculum and vision and mission of national education by preparing lesson plans and learning methods that are in accordance with the characteristics of the needs of children with special needs; (2) The methods used in learning ablution practices in children with special needs in SLB Negeri Pembina Bener Meriah are for children with Down syndrome using one task behavior method, children with tunagrahita and tunadaksa using lecture and demonstration methods

Abstract

The process of transferring knowledge to foster students’ comprehension should be done   using learning models that are appropriate to current developments of teaching by considering the characteristics of the educational environment and the characteristics of students. Technology is used to assist the learning process in schools. This can be seen by the IT-based learning models that have been used by educators. The purpose of this study is to develop an IT-based Islamic Religious Education learning model, to determine the impact of implementing IT-based Islamic Islamic Education learning models. The subject of the research is at SD Negeri 2 Dewantara Kab. North Aceh. The research method used is development research (research & development) with the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The results of the study are: first, the IT-based Islamic religious education learning model developed in the form of an application called MemBer PAI; second, this IT-based learning model is suitable to be developed for  based on the results of validation tests from experts achieving an average score of 4.8 in the very good category; fourth, the use of the PAI MemBer application has an impact on student learning success in achieving an average score above 80 with a completeness percentage of 84% of the total 25 students.

Abstract

The Teacher's Role in Improving Students' Literacy Ability in PAI Material in Class V SDN 4 Banda Sakti, Lhokseumawe City. Literacy covers various fields, including Islamic Religious Education lessons. However, some educators, especially PAI teachers, think that literacy is not too important to apply to students. The teaching method implemented is still monotonous. Most teachers use the lecture method, asking students to memorize, and copy notes from the blackboard. This is the problem, so that the quality of students in PAI literacy is very minimal. The focus of this research is What is the teacher's role in improving students' literacy skills in material in Class V SDN 04 Banda Sakti, Lhokseumawe City?  The method used is qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusionsThe results of this (1) the teacher as an educator is able to implement exemplary values for students through storytelling literacy and understanding of the contents of the Koran. (2) teacher, namely teaching how to write according to language rules, making stories, concluding, and describing (3) mentor, teacher helping students by giving additional study time, practicing writing, speech, and poetry reading skills. (4) motivators, teachers provide encouragement in the form of advice, tell stories about inspirational Islamic figures, give rewards, and add value to active students. (5) learning resources, the teacher provides knowledge to students in the form of theory, showing videos, posters, and internet-based learning

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tesis ini mengkaji Penerapan Model Contextual Teaching Learning dalam Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Kuta Makmur. Dalam pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual, peran guru tidak lagi sebagai otoritas tunggal, melainkan sebagai pendamping yang mendengarkan peserta didiknya. Guru bukan satu-satunya penentu kemajuan peserta didik, melainkan pendamping dalam mencapai kompetensi dasar. Penelitian ini merumuskan tiga masalah utama: penerapan model tersebut, kendala yang dihadapi guru, dan upaya guru mengatasi kendala tersebut. Penerapan model pembelajaran mencakup tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian. Kendala yang dihadapi guru termasuk kesulitan siswa memahami materi PAI dan keterbatasan sarana/prasarana. Upaya guru untuk mengatasi kendala melibatkan melaporkan ke kepala sekolah agar menyediakan LCD proyektor, mengelompokkan siswa secara heterogen, memberikan bimbingan dalam diskusi, memberikan umpan balik intensif, dan mengoptimalkan waktu pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian mencakup pemahaman penerapan model pembelajaran, identifikasi kendala guru, dan pemahaman upaya guru mengatasi kendala dalam Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Kuta Makmur. Metode penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif deskriptif, menggunakan analisis data model Miles dan Huberman, termasuk reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. ABTRACT learning, the teacher's role shifts from being the ultimate authority to a listener who values students' input. Teachers no longer singularly dictate students' progress but serve as companions in achieving basic competencies. The study formulates three main problems: the model's implementation, obstacles faced by teachers, and teachers' efforts to overcome these obstacles. The research aims to understand the application of the model, identify teacher obstacles, and comprehend teachers' efforts in Class VIII Islamic Religious Education at SMP Negeri 4 Kuta Makmur. This qualitative descriptive research employs the Miles and Huberman model, involving data reduction, presentation, verification, and conclusions. Findings include the multi-stage implementation of the model, obstacles such as varying student abilities and inadequate facilities, and teacher efforts, such as reporting for an LCD projector, heterogeneous student grouping, comprehensive guidance, and increased feedback to optimize learning time.

Muslimin. 2023. “Respon Santri Terhadap Penguasaan Dan Pendalaman Mata Pelajaran Fiqih Materi Faraidh Di Dayah Al-Muttaqin Kecamatan Kutamakmur”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Respon santri terhadap penguasaan dan pendalaman mata pelajaran fiqih materi faraidh di Dayah Al-Muttaqin Kecamatan Kutamakmur. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif yaitu penelitian yang dimaksud untuk membuat diskripsi mengenai situasi-situasi kejadian-kejadian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah (penelitian lapangan) observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian adalah Respon santri dalam penguasaan dan pendalaman mata pelajaran fiqih materi faraidh di Dayah Al-Muttaqin Kecamatan Kutamakmur bahwa santri dalam hal mempelajari ilmu faraid sebenarnya memiliki minat tetapi ada beberapa hal yang membuat santri susah untuk memahami pelajaran fiqih materi faraid tersebut hal ini dikarenakan dalam pembelajaran fiqih materi faraid terdapat materi khusus ataupun syarat-syarat tertentu yang tidak semua orang bisa memiliki minat tersebut yaitu ilmu matematika.

Abstract

The number of phenomena of memorizing the Qur'an only focuses on pursuing memorization targets, but often causes unqualified memorization obtained and even pronunciation and reading are not in accordance with the rules of tajdweed science and to be able to help elementary school students focus more and make it easier to memorize and strengthen memorization of the Qur'an. So that the Ummi and Kaisa methods are applied in memorizing the Qur'an at SDN 1 Sawang North Aceh to meet the school’s goal that students are interested in memorizing the Qur'an with good memorization accompanied by the ability to read the correct Qur'an according to tajweed science. This study consists of several problem formulations, namely: Discussing how the design, application and factors that support and hinder the memorization of the Qur'an at SDN 1 Sawang North Aceh. The research method taken in this thesis is a qualitative approach. So that the results of the research in this thesis can be known that in the process of designing and applying the Ummi and Kaisa Methods to the Qur'an memorization activities have achieved the set targets, although they have faced several obstacles. With details, the first-grade memorization target is 14 Surahs in 1 Semester. Of the total number of students in the Tahfidz class I group, namely 29 students, only 2 people did not meet the target (namely 11 surahs and 13 surahs). As for the Tahfidz class II group consisting of 24 students, all students have reached the memorization target set, namely 20 surahs in 1 semester. From these results, it is hoped that this research can be used as reference material for researchers who will conduct further studies on interesting Qur'an memorization activities using the Ummi and Kaisa methods
