Abstract

Unemployment, specifically among recent graduates, is a prevalent phenomenon in society. It is characterized by individuals possessing adequate qualifications but not engaged in employment-seeking activities. This issue has significant implications for poverty, defined as the condition wherein individuals or households face difficulties in fulfilling basic needs.This research aims to analyze the impact of open unemployment on the poverty rate in Medan City. The data utilized in this study is derived from secondary sources obtained from relevant authorities, specifically the North Sumatra Central Statistics Agency, spanning the years 2017 to 2022. The analytical approach employed in this study is the simple linear regression technique.The results of data analysis reveal that open unemployment in Medan City has a discernible influence on the poverty rate within the city, demonstrating a 1.01% impact during the period from 2017 to 2022.

Abstract

The development of the coffee business world is currently increasingly rapid, giving rise to very tight competition between coffee businesses. The purpose of this research is to find out whether the marketing strategy implemented by Cafe Ox Coffee Medan can increase the sales of the food and beverages it sells. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method by collecting data and information using interview-observation techniques with employees of Cafe OX Coffee Medan and the results of sales data reports for 3 consecutive months. The research results show that the marketing strategy implemented at OX Coffee Medan is effective, as shown by the increase in turnover every consecutive month.

Abstract

Poverty is a timeless issue, and this reality underscores why poverty always garners significant attention and sparks debate. Regardless of the ongoing controversies surrounding the concept of poverty, its eradication must be urgently addressed, and every policy made should favor the poor who desperately need attention from all parties. Poverty occurs due to the low standard of living of poor people, which results in poor life expectancy and education, thereby reducing their economic productivity. Often, the issue of poverty arises alongside the issue of unemployment. These two problems are closely related to the quality of the Human Development Index. The aim of this study is to understand the poverty of the population in North Sumatra for the period 2015-2020. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The data collection technique used in this study involves secondary data sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS).

Abstract

Poverty is a complex economic issue that involves multiple dimensions. Therefore, efforts are needed to find solutions to overcome or at least reduce the level of poverty. The objective of this research is to analyze the impact of the economic growth rate on the poverty level in the North Sumatra Province. The author employs research instruments such as literature reviews, documentation studies, and internet searches. The data are sourced from secondary data obtained from relevant agencies, especially the Central Statistics Agency (Badan Pusat Statistik) of North Sumatra, covering the period from 2017 to 2022. In analyzing the data, the author utilizes the technique of simple linear regression analysis. The results of data processing indicate that the Human Development Index (HDI) from 2017 to 2022 has an impact on the poverty level in North Sumatra from 2017 to 2022.

Abstract

This study aims to forecast the poverty rate in Medan City using the Moving Average (MA) method for the period 2017-2026. Historical data on poverty rates from 2017 to 2022 are used as the basis for forecasting. The Moving Average method is chosen due to its simplicity in smoothing data and identifying trends. The results of this study are expected to provide an overview of future poverty trends and serve as a reference for policymakers in designing poverty reduction strategies.

Abstract

Abstract Narcotics are substances, synthetic or semi-synthetic drugs derived from plants that can cause loss or change of consciousness, loss of taste, reduction or disappearance of pain. Drug crimes are a relatively new category of crime and have only recently emerged in this modern era. Therefore, the legal determination of the criminal act of narcotics abuse is not mentioned in the Al-Qur'an or the Hadith of the Prophet SAW so that society uses this as a basis for narcotics abuse. Ulama experts have discussed the law on narcotics abuse which will be explained in detail in the results of this research. This research aims to socialize and provide education to the general public regarding narcotics abuse. The research results obtained used qualitative research methods. This method is used to produce descriptive research with data collected in the form of words. Keywords: Narcotics, Islamic law, Jarimah Ta'zir. Abstrak Narkotika adalah zat, obat sintetik atau semi sintetik yang berasal dari tumbuhan yang dapat menyebabkan hilangnya atau berubahnya kesadaran, hilangnya rasa, berkurangnya atau hilangnya rasa nyeri. Kejahatan narkoba merupakan kategori kejahatan yang relatif baru dan baru muncul di era modern ini. Oleh karena itu, penetapan hukum tindak pidana penyalahgunaan narkotika tidak disebutkan dalam Al-Qur'an maupun Hadits Nabi SAW sehingga masyarakat menjadikan hal tersebut sebagai dasar penyalahgunaan penggunaan narkotika. Para ahli ulama telah membahas tentang hukum penyalahgunaan narkotika yang akan dijelaskan secara rinci pada hasil penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mensosialisasikan dan memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat umum mengenai penyalahgunaan narkotika. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Metode ini digunakan untuk menghasilkan penelitian deskriptif dengan data yang dikumpulkan dalam bentuk kata-kata. Penggunaan metode yuridis normatif juga membantu kita dalam penelitian kepustakaan atau studi dokumen serta pembahasan topik yang diangkat. Kata kunci: Narkotika, Hukum Islam, Jarimah Ta'zir.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Zina sebagai pelanggaran terhadap norma moral dan hukum syariah dalam Islam, menjadi isu penting di berbagai masyarakat, termasuk di Indonesia. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep zina dalam perspektif Islam, serta implikasi hukum dan sosialnya di Indonesia. Menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun terdapat perbedaan dalam penerapan hukum, upaya kolektif dari masyarakat dan lembaga keagamaan sangat penting dalam mendorong kesadaran dan kepatuhan terhadap nilai-nilai moral Islam. Kata kunci: Zina, Hukum Islam, Indonesia, Moralitas, Penegakan Hukum. ABSTRACT Adultery as a violation of moral norms and sharia law in Islam, has become an important issue in various societies, including in Indonesia. This article aims to examine the concept of adultery from an Islamic perspective, as well as its legal and social implications in Indonesia. Using the Library Study Method as a data collection technique. The research results show that although there are differences in the application of the law, collective efforts from society and religious institutions are very important in encouraging awareness and compliance with Islamic moral values. Abstract

Penentuan ukuran sampel adalah aspek krusial dalam desain penelitian kuantitatif untuk memastikan hasil penelitian dapat digeneralisasi secara valid. Formula Slovin sering digunakan dalam penelitian sosial, ekonomi, dan pendidikan karena kemudahan penerapannya. Namun, formula ini kerap dikritik dalam komunitas ilmiah karena kurang akurat untuk populasi yang heterogen dan tidak memenuhi distribusi normal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi keakuratan dan keterbatasan formula Slovin menggunakan pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR), Metabibliografi, dan Meta-Analisis. Berdasarkan analisis literatur, formula Slovin merupakan penyederhanaan dari formula generik ukuran sampel yang menghilangkan standar deviasi ( ) dan tingkat kepercayaan (1- α) yang berisiko menghasilkan sampel yang bias dalam populasi dengan variasi tinggi. Hasil meta-analisis menunjukkan bahwa metode alternatif, seperti stratifikasi dan sampling sistematis, lebih akurat dalam populasi kompleks dan heterogen. Selain itu, prinsip The Weak Law of Large Numbers (TWLLN) dan Central Limit Theorem (CLT) menekankan pentingnya mempertimbangkan ukuran sampel yang besar dan distribusi dalam perhitungan, yang diabaikan oleh formula Slovin. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar peneliti menggunakan metode sampling alternatif yang lebih andal dan mampu menghasilkan sampel representatif pada populasi beragam

Abstract

This is study aims to determine the influence of (1). Enterpreneurial knowledge on the entrepreneurial interest of students at Morotai Pacific University, and (2). Entrepreneurial motivation on entrepreneurial interest in Morotai Pacific University students. This research is survey research. The population in this study was 50 students of Morotai Pacific University. This sampling technique was purposive sampling. Thus research used quantitative research and data ab=nalyze by using SPSS V. The results show that (1). Entrepreneurship knowledge has a positive influence on entrepreneurial interest in Morotai pacific University students by showing the regression equation y= 3,229+ 0,777 X1 calculated value of 4,367 with a significance value of 0,000 smaller than 0,05 and a regression coefficient value of 0,555, the more entrepreneurial knowledge obtained, the more entrepreneurial interest will be fostered in Morotai Pcific Universty Students. (2). Entrepreneurial Motivation has a positive influance on entrepreneurial interest in Morotai Pacific University students as shown by the regression equation y= 3, 229 + 0, 380 X2-.This can be proven by a calculated value of 4,065 with a significant value of 0,000 smaller than 0,05 and has a regression coefficient value of 0, 380. The more Entrepreneeuiral Motivation obtained, the more Entrepreneurial Interrest will grow in Morotai Pacfic University students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh media sosial terhadap perubahan perilaku sosial remaja di Kota Medan dalam konteks era digital yang kian berkembang. Dengan menggunakan metode survei terhadap 300 remaja, penelitian ini mengungkapkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara penggunaan media sosial dengan perubahan interaksi sosial, gaya hidup, dan pola komunikasi remaja. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa intensitas dan konten media sosial berperan dalam membentuk norma-norma sosial baru di kalangan remaja. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan panduan bagi orang tua dan pendidik dalam memahami pengaruh media sosial terhadap perkembangan perilaku remaja.
