Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to determine the factors that influence the growing interest in learning of students in Athira Makassar Islamic Elementary school in class 4.1. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive survey method. The population of the research was 74 fourth grade students of Athira Makassar Islamic Elementary school, consist of 4 classes, the sampling using simple random sampling technique, so that class 4.1 was chosen as a sample of 20 students. Data were analyzed using statistical data analysis technique which consisted of editing, data tabulated stages, then presented and then presented in table form and described descriptively. The result showed a percentage of learning method 14,41%, the geographical location of the school 12,56%, phisycal indikator 11,78%, learning models 11,74%, talent 9,18%, learning models 8,54%, indikator of needs 6,28%, social competence 5,97%, building indikator 5,77%, personality competence 5,43%, and pedagogic competence 5,30%. It was concluded that the learning method was the most influential factor in the growth of student`s interest in learning at Athira Makassar Islamic Elementary school grade 4.Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi tumbuhnya minat belajar siswa di SD Islam Athirah Makassar kelas 4.1. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei deskriptif.Populasi penelitian adalah keseluruhan siswa kelas 4 SD  Islam Athirah Baruga Makassar berjumlah 74 orang siswa yang terdiri dari empat kelas, penarikan sampel menggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling, sehingga terpilih kelas 4.1 sebagai sampel yang berjumlah 20 orang siswa. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data statistik yang terdiri dari tahap penyuntingan, input data, dan tahap tabulasi,selanjutnya dipersentasekan kemudian disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan dijabarkan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase metode pembelajaran 14,41%, letak geografis sekolah (12,56%), indikator fisik (11,78%), model pembelajaran (11,74%), bakat (9,18%), model pembelajaran (8,54%), indikator kebutuhan (6,28%), kompetensi sosial (5,97%), indikator bangunan (5,77%), kompetensi kepribadian (5,43%), dan kompetensi pedagogik (5,30%).Disimpulkan bahwa, metode pembelajaran adalah faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap tumbuhnya minat belajar siswa di SD Islam Athirah Makassar kelas 4.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar dan respon siswa terhadap penerapan strategi scaffolding pada pembelajaran pemrograman web siswa kelas 10 TKJ (Teknik Komputer Jaringan) SMK (Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan) Kartika Wirabuana 1. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre-eksperimental dalam bentuk pretest posttest design dengan jumlah populasi 74 orang dan seluruh populasi digunakan sebagai sampel. Data diperoleh dengan teknik angket dan tes. Uji instrumen menggunakan uji validitas dengan korelasi Product Moment Pearson dan reliabilitas dengan Alpha Cronbach. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa respon siswa terhadap penerapan strategi scaffolding dalam pembelajaran berada pada kategori baik. Penerapan strategi scaffolding dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran pemrograman web di Jurusan TKJ SMK Kartika Wirabuana 1. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh perbandingan rata-rata hasil posttest yang lebih tinggi daripada rata-rata hasil pretest dengan rentangan perbedaan yang cukup tinggi.Kata Kunci : Strategi Scaffolding, Pemrograman Web

Abstract

Based on the results of studies on literacy skills, analysis of the empirical situation and condition of libraries in various elementary schools in Kota Parepare, it can be concluded that the problems faced by the majority of primary schools related to library functions to improve reading culture and literacy skills of students are: 1) governance libraries are still low, 2) the competence of human resources library managers are still low and 3) empowerment of library utilization programs in primary schools to improve reading culture and literacy skills of students who are still low too. So this devotional program provides solutions to overcome the problems of partners in the form of assistance to optimize the function of school libraries. Assistance involves implementers of service programs, lecturers and students in course of Pengelolaan Perpustakaan di SD, principals, teachers, staff and students at 6 partner schools. Stages of mentoring is to rearrange the management of libraries both administration and governance of the room and collections, upgrading the ability of library management and library program development activities to improve reading culture and literacy skills of students. Based on the results of assistance, it can be concluded that the mentoring has succeeded in restoring the function of the library as a center of literacy activities in primary schools. Arrangement of administrative, interior and collections make the library in 6 partner schools an interesting and fun place for student literacy activities. Facilities and programs to improve reading culture and literacy skills of students have also been established and implemented in 6 partner schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk kebutuhan pelatihan apresiasi seni daerah setempat bagi guru sekolah dasar, bentuk kegiatan pembelajaran apresiasi seni tari yang sudah pernah dilakukan oleh guru sekolah dasar, dan jenis bahan ajar apresiasi seni tari yang sudah pernah dilaksanakan dalam pembelajaran seni budaya dan keterampilan di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian menggunakan Research and Development (R&D). Responden penelitian adalah guru sekolah dasar di Makassar. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Temuan penelitian ini, kebutuhan dan keberhasilan pelaksanaan pelatihan dipengaruhi oleh materi pelatihan, program pelatihan, bentuk pelatihan, instruktur pelatihan, sarana & prasarana pelatihan dan CD tari pelatihan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  kebutuhan akan pelatihan apresiasi seni tari Nusantara daerah setempat  sangat tinggi dan sangat dibutuhkan oleh guru sekolah dasar di Makassar terbukti dari angket kebutuhan yang diberikan kepada guru sekolah dasar sebanyak 30 orang, bentuk kegiatan pembelajaran apresiasi seni tari yang sudah pernah dilakukan oleh guru sekolah dasar kurang baik, dengan rerata skor 2.01, dan jenis bahan ajar apresiasi seni tari yang sudah pernah dilaksanakan dalam pembelajaran seni budaya dan keterampilan di sekolah dasar juga kurang baik, dengan rerata skor 2,19.Kata Kunci: pelatihan, apresiasi, seni tari, Nusantara daerah setempat.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan mitra yang diidentifikasi  (1) belum memiliki pengetahuan tentang media pembelajaran terutama GeoGebra sehingga perlu adanya pendampingan dan pengarahan berkelanjutan mengenai pentingnya menggunakan media pembelajaran yang tepat ketika proses pembelajaran, (2) belum memiliki keterampilan GeoGebra sehingga perlu diadakan kegiatan pelatihan penggunaan software GeGebra. Permasalahan pada mitra di daerah Kelurahan Pademangan Barat dapat dicari solusinya, salah satunya dengan penerapan IPTEKS bagi masyarakat sekitar khususnya untuk guru dan siswa. Solusi yang ditawarkan guna memecahkan masalah di atas adalah tim pengabdian UHAMKA bermaksud mengadakan workshop penerapan software GeoGebra sebagai media pembelajaran matematika untuk guru SDN Pademangan Barat. Metode dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra yaitu (1) penggalian masalah, (2) perencanaan, (3) sosialisasi, (4) pelaksanaan, (5) evaluasi dan refleksi, (6) laporan, dan (7) publikasi. Abstract

This research is a multi-years research that is planned to be completed in 2 (two) years.  In this year this research aims to see the implementation of child offender in The Children Penitentiary  Sei. Bulu Muara Bulian Jambi. This research is an ?Empirical Research?, that conducted  field research on The Child Penitentiary Sei. Bulu Muara Bulian, and conduct interviews to Children Inmates and   observations tothe implementation of the development ofthe children inmates, in addition this research also conducted on The Law and Human Rights Ministry of Jambi. The result of the research shows in The Children Penitentiary Sei. Bulu Muara Bulian Jambi not only populated by children in mates, but also combined with adult female in mates. The result of the field research on the 27 may 2015 the number ofadult female in mates reached47 (Forty-seven) people, the number ofchildinmatesare36 (thirty six) people. The results offield research hasserious problems: 1) from Goal of Development aspect ofthere isa big differences, the purpose of fosteringa child in mates are education and training while the fostering goal of adult women in mates are correctional. 2) From the practical aspectsof the available labor builder is a builder who should have the power (tupoksi) to foster in mates child obtains heavier burden than duties that are supposed, the obligation to implement the guidance to adult female in mates. 3) From the aspect of facilities there is no additional facilities relating with the increasing of the work load. 4) from the aspects of employee resources builder also there is no special addition.The head of the law Ministry and Human Rights Jambi province says the consideration of the merger because of the proximity characteristic still possible to combine. Seeing the empirical condition shows the needs  for the application of Law No.11 of 2012 concerning Juvenile Justice System where the children criminals tries to avoid a child in the punishment imprison ment through the efforts diversion andrestorative justice. The research on the effectiveness of restorative justice through the application of this diversion will be continued in the research studyon the second year. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakter siswa, khususnya karakter kreativitas siswa kelas VIII SMPN 08 Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Sedangkan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dengan instrumen penilaian tes berupa angket dengan variable karakter kreativitas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII C dan VIII E SMPN 08 Kota Jambi, dengan jumlah total responden sebanyak 59 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling yaitu jumlah sampel sama dengan populasi. Adapun hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa angket kreativitas siswa kelas VIII C rata-rata tergolong dalam kategori “Tidak Baik” dengan 58,1 % pernyataan dijawab tidak baik oleh siswa dan 35,5 % pernyataan dijawab dengan baik oleh siswa. Sedangkan hasil penelitian pada kelas VIII E rata-rata tergolong dalam kategori “Baik” dengan 60,7 % pernyataan dijawab baik oleh siswa dan 32,1 %, dijawab tidak baik oleh siswa. Berdasarkan hasil angket tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat kreativitas siswa kelas VIII C lebih rendah dari kelas VIII E. Kata kunci: Karakter, Kreativitas Siswa, Pendidikan ABSTRACTThis study was intended to analyze the character of students, the special characteristics of creativity of class VIII students of  SMPN 08 Jambi City. This study uses descriptive quantitative research methods. While the type of research used is observation with the assessment instrument in the form of a questionnaire with character variables of creativity. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII C and VIII E of SMPN 08 Jambi City, with a total number of respondents as many as 59 respondents. The sampling technique uses total sampling, namely the number of samples equal to the population. Class VIII C on average falls into the category of "Not Good" with 58.1% of statements answered not well by students and 35.5% of statements answered well by students. While the results of research in class VIII E are categorized as "Good" on average with 60.7% of statements answered well by students and 32.1% of statements answered not well by students. Based on the results of the questionnaire, it can be concluded that the level of creativity of class VIII C students is lower than class VIII E. Keywords: Character, Student Creativity, Education

Abstract

Penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi ini bertujuan untuk memahami makna kompetensi emosi bagi manajer dalam melakukan proses pengambilan keputusan di ruang lingkup organisasi. Keterlibatan emosi tidak dapat dihindari ketika individu menghadapi kondisi pengambilan keputusan, oleh karena itu dibutuhkan keterampilan yang berbasis potensi emosi dan berdampak pada pencapaian kinerja yang tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara yang mendalam untuk mengumpulkan data dari responden. Pengumpulan responden dengan menggunakan teknik ”snow-ball” dan pemilihan responden menggunakan purposive sampling. Penelitian kualitatif fenomenologi ini terdiri dari empat proses yang dilalui yaitu epoche, phenomenological reduction, imaginative variation, dan synthesis of meaning. Proses analisis dan interpretasi data meliputi: bracketing, horizonalizing, meaning units untuk mendapatkan deskripsi tekstural; imaginative variation untuk mendapatkan deskripsi struktural; dan memadukan deskripsi tekstural dan struktural menjadi suatu makna yang universal dan mewakili responden secara keseluruhan. Validitas hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan intersubjective validity. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman emosi merupakan sejumlah perasaan yang telah dialami manager dalam mengambil keputusan. Emosi yang dialami berupa: senang, kecewa, marah, dan cemas, yang ditimbulkan oleh adanya intervensi lingkungan, kondisi yang pasti dan ketidakpastian, serta terbatasnya kemampuan dalam menghadapi masalah dan adanya masalah pribadi yang dihadapi oleh manager. Sejumlah perasaan ini dimaknai sebagai sumber motivasi ataupun sebagai sumber stressor yang akan mempengaruhi cara atau strategi manager dalam mengambil keputusan. Kompetensi emosi menjadi sumber strategi manager dalam mengelolah emosi ketika melakukan proses pengambilan keputusan. Adapun bentuk kompetensi emosi manager dalam melakukan proses pengambilan keputusan yaitu: memahami emosi diri, mengendalikan emosi, memiliki motivasi, berempati, memiliki keterampilan sosial.Keyword: Pengalaman emosi, kompetensi emosi, manager, pengambilan keputusan

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low learning outcomes Social Sciences. The problems that were examined, namely How did the process of implementing a model of cooperative-type Numbered Head Together in social studies materials Struggle Maintaining Independence of Indonesia in class V?, Is the application of models of cooperative-type Numbered Head Together to improve learning outcomes IPS materials Struggle Maintaining Independence of Indonesia in Class V ?. The purpose of this study was to determine the type of cooperative learning application process Numbered Head Together social studies in Class V and to find out the learning outcome IPS after the implementation of cooperative learning type Numbered Head Together graders V. The approach used was qualitative approach using Type Research Class action. The focus of this study focused on the current implementation process focus on social studies learning by implementing measures NHT comprising the step numbering, ask questions, think together and answer as well as focus on the results of student learning outcome social studies on Maintaining Independence Struggle Indonesia. The subjects were teachers and students of class V, as many as 24 people, consisting of 10 men and 14 women. Data collection techniques used are tests, observation and documentation. Analysis of the data used is descriptive qualitative data analysis by classifying the data Aspect Aspect Teachers and Students. The learning outcomes of students in the first cycle of less qualified because they are indicators of unmet ie the number of students who were able to take the test is given to the right is still small, but on the second cycle results are increased and qualified Good. Conclusion of the study, namely an increase learning outcomes in social studies about the struggle of Indonesian Independence Maintain through the application of models Pembelejaran Cooperative Numbered Head Together in Class V SD Negeri 57 Parepare.Keyword: Numbered Head Together, learning outcomes

Abstract

This research aims to improve the teachers' performances in learning through supervision with classroom observation technique performed by the principal. This research is a qualitative research. The kind of research used is action research. The steps that have been done in this research were planning, implementation and observation, reflection and revision. The data obtained from interview, observation, and documentation. The results of research showed that; First, the preparation of supervision of classroom observation by the principal become better which was in accordance with the preparation theories of supervision by using classroom observation technique. Second, the implementation process of supervision of classroom observation by the principal has done very well, it causes a conducive atmosphere and enjoyable for teachers and students. Third, the feedback meeting of supervision of classroom observation by the principal carried well so that it can motivate teachers to improve their performances which were in accordance with the feedback meeting theories of supervision by using the classroom observation technique. Fourth, the teachers' performances in learning increased after conducting the supervision technique of classroom observation, among others (a) the ability of teachers in planning the learning is good, (b) the ability of teachers in implementing the learning is already very good so, the situation of class becomes conducive and enjoyable, and (c) the ability of teachers in evaluating the learning also increased to be better.
