Abstract

Salah satu jenis kacang-kacangan yang dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat adalah kedelai karena mengandung protein yang tinggi. Produksi kedelai di Kalimantan Selatan masih rendah dan berfluktuasi dari tahun ke tahun sehingga produksi kedelai belum dapat dipenuhi atau masih mengimpor. Luas lahan kering di Kalimantan Selatan ialah 1.256. 648 ha yang didominasi oleh tanah Ultisol dan merupakan solusi untuk areal tanam kedelai meskipun ada kendala yang dihadapi seperti tanah yang kesuburannya rendah, karena bahan organiknya juga rendah, pH yang masam serta peka terhadap erosi tanah, untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut dilakukan dengan pemberian pupuk organik yang menjadi sumber ketersediaan unsur hara dan memperbaiki sifat fisik tanah di antaranya bokashi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui respon pertumbuhan dan hasil kedelai terhadap dosis dari berbagai bahan bokashi pada tanah Ultisol. Penelitian ini berlangsung pada bulan November 2018 sampai April 2019 di Jalan UNLAM II Banjarbaru Kalimantan Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Faktorial Tersarang. Faktor pertama bahan bokashi (B) yaitu b0 = bokashi pupuk kandang ayam, b1 = bokashi kirinyu, b2 = bokashi gamal, b3 bokashi mukuna dan faktor kedua adalah dosis bokashi yang tersarang dalam berbagai bahan bokashi (T) yaitu : t0 = 5 t ha-1, t1 = 10 t ha-1 dan t2 = 15 t ha-1. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa jumlah daun memberikan respon yang berbeda-beda terhadap dosis dari berbagai bahan bokashi, dimana dosis yang terbaik adalah 15 t ha-1 dan jumlah polong hampa memberikan respon yang berbeda terhadap bahan bokashi, dimana bahan bokashi yang terbaik ialah bokashi kirinyu.

Abstract

Research on the effect of various fertilizer formulations on the growth and yield of cayenne pepper on ultisol soil was conducted from February to July 2025 at the research land of the Agronomy Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Lambung Mangkurat University, Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan. The study used a single factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The factors used were Fertilization Formulation with 4 treatment levels, namely, p0 = basal fertilizer, p1 = cayenne pepper fertilizer CRV 212 variety, p2 = cayenne pepper fertilizer Hiyung variety, p3 = National cayenne pepper fertilizer. The treatment was repeated 5 times to obtain 20 experimental units. Each experimental unit contained 2 plant samples so that a total of 40 plants were obtained. The parameters observed were increase in plant height (cm), increase in the number of leaves (blades), stem diameter (mm), number of branches (fruits), age of first flowering (DAP), age of first fruiting (DAP), age of first harvest (DAP), number of harvested fruit (fruit), harvested fruit weight (g), fruit length (cm), and fruit diameter (mm). The results of the study showed that the fertilizer formulation had a significant effect on the increase in plant height, the age of the first harvest and had a very significant effect on stem diameter.

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the effect of Jakaba Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC Jakaba) application on the growth and yield of leek (Allium fistulosum L.) on Ultisol soil and to determine the optimal POC Jakaba concentration for the growth and yield of the leek plants. The research was conducted at the Greenhouse of SMK-PP Negeri Banjarbaru and the Agricultural Biology Laboratory, Agronomy Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Lambung Mangkurat University, from November 2024 to June 2025. The research design used was a Single Factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with seven levels of POC Jakaba concentration: k₀ = 0 mL L⁻¹, k₁ = 20 mL L⁻¹, k₂ = 40 mL L⁻¹, k₃ = 60 mL L⁻¹, k₄ = 80 mL L⁻¹, k₅ = 100 mL L⁻¹, and k₆ = 120 mL L⁻¹, each replicated four times, resulting in 28 experimental units. Observed parameters included plant height (cm), stem diameter (mm), number of leaves per clump (leaves), percentage of tillers (%), root volume (cm³), fresh weight per clump (g), dry weight per clump (g), and productivity (ton ha⁻¹). The results of this study indicate that Jakaba POC significantly affected the number of leaves at 10 days after planting. The highest number of leaves (2.67 leaves) was produced at a Jakaba POC concentration of 20 mL L-1, which was significantly different from the k₆ treatment (120 mL L⁻¹) by 2 leaves.

Abstract

Pembentukan buah partenokarpi dapat dilakukan dengan induksi menggunakan zat pengatur tumbuh, seperti giberelin. Salah satu sumber hormon giberelin alami terdapat pada tanaman eceng gondok sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pengganti hormon giberelin sintetis. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sejak Januari – April 2024 di lahan percobaan SMK-PP Negeri Banjarbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan lingkungan Rancangan Acak Kelompok faktorial dua faktor dengan rancangan perlakuan Rancangan Petak Terbagi. Varietas sebagai petak utama dan konsentrasi ekstrak akar eceng gondok sebagai anak petak. Peubah yang diamati, yaitu umur berbunga, jumlah bunga, jumlah rangkaian bunga, bobot segar per buah, bobot daging buah per buah, panjang buah, diameter buah, jumlah biji, dan bobot kering biji. Terdapat interaksi antara konsentrasi ekstrak akar eceng gondok dengan varietas berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap peubah jumlah biji, kombinasi terbaik terhadap jumlah biji adalah varietas Yumi F1 dan konsentrasi ekstrak 250 ppm yang menghasilkan jumlah biji terendah sebanyak 270,64 butir. Sementara itu, faktor tunggal menunjukkan tidak berpengaruh pada semua peubah.

Abstract

Penelitian pengaruh pemberian campuran limbah solid kelapa sawit dan bokashi kirinyu terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil mentimun bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh serta takaran terbaik dari pemberian campuran pupuk organik limbah solid kelapa sawit dan bokashi kirinyu terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil mentimun. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Tajau Pecah, Kecamatan Batu Ampar, Kabupaten Tanah Laut, Kalimantan Selatan. Waktu pelaksanaan penelitian ini dimulai dari bulan Oktober 2020 sampai dengan Januari 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) satu faktor yang terdiri dari 6 taraf perlakuan yaitu P0 (100% limbah solid), P1 (70% limbah solid + 30% bokashi), P2 (60% limbah solid + 40% bokashi), P3 (50% limbah solid + 50% bokashi), P4 (40% limbah solid + 60% bokashi), dan P5 (30% limbah solid + 70% bokashi). Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 4 kali sehingga diperoleh 24 satuan percobaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pemberian campuran limbah solid kelapa sawit dan bokashi kirinyu tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil mentimun.

Abstract

Hasil sawi belum mencukupi kebutuhan dan permintaan masyarakat karena areal pertanaman semakin sempit dan produktivitas tanaman sawi masih relatif rendah,. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis dalam jenis pupuk organik eceng gondok terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman sawi. Dan memperoleh dosis dalam jenis pupuk organik eceng gondok yang terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman sawi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan analisis ragam dengan model linear aditif untuk RAL dua faktor pola tersarang. Dengan hasil yaitu Dosis dalam jenis pupuk organik eceng gondok memberikan pengaruh nyata dan Dosis 20 t ha-1 dalam kompos eceng gondok memberikan hasil yang terbaik pada variabel tinggi tanaman sebesar 39,47 cm, luas daun sebesar 481 cm2, berat basah dengan akar seberat 102,58 g, berat basah tanpa akar seberat 98,41 g, berat kering dengan akar seberat 31,86 g dan berat kering tanpa akar seberat 30,69 g. Pada jumlah daun perlakuan dosis 20 t ha-1 dalam bokashi eceng gondok memberikan hasil yang terbaik sebanyak 13,67 helai.

Abstract

Nagara beans (Vigna unguiculata sp. cylindrica) are a potential local crop from South Kalimantan that can be an alternative to soybeans, but still have limited productivity. Efforts to increase yield can be done through mutation induction using Ethyl Methane Sulphonate (EMS) to produce new genetic diversity. This study aims to evaluate the differences in yield components and yield of the M2 generation compared to the M1 generation of yellow nagara beans that have been treated with EMS. The study was conducted in the practice field of SMK-PP Negeri Banjarbaru from November 2024–May 2025 using a single-factor Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 10 combinations of EMS concentrations (0; 0.03; 0.06; and 0.09%) and soaking times (4, 6, and 8 hours), each repeated three times. The variables observed were the number of pods per plant, pod length per plant, pod width per plant, number of seeds per plant, number of seeds per pod, seed weight per plant. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon sign test. The results showed significant differences between M2 and M1 in pod number, pod length and width, and seed number and weight per plant. EMS treatment at concentrations of 0% to 0.03% had a positive effect on increasing yield components, while concentrations of 0.06–0.09% tended to decrease plant performance.

Abstract

Tanaman kale memiliki nilai gizi tinggi dan berpotensi dikembangkan di Kalimantan Selatan melalui budidaya hidroponik sistem sumbu, namun pertumbuhannya di dataran rendah kurang optimal sehingga diperlukan aplikasi ZPT giberelin (GA₃), sehingga penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji pengaruh frekuensi pemberian GA₃ 60 ppm terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman kale. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh frekuensi pemberian giberelin (GA3) terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kale pada hidroponik sistem sumbu Mengetahui perlakuan frekuensi pemberian giberelin (GA3) yang terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kale pada hidroponik sistem sumbu. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli sampai Agustus 2025 di Rumah Hidropoik Program Studi Agronomi, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, Banjarbaru, Kalimantan Selatan. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktor tunggal. Faktor yang digunakan adalah frekuensi GA3 dengan 5 taraf perlakuan, yaitu f1 = kontrol, f2 = 1 kali aplikasi, f3 = 2 kali aplikasi, f4 = 3 kali aplikasi, dan f5 = 4 kali aplikasi.  Perlakuan diulang sebanyak 4 kali sehingga diperoleh 20 satuan percobaan. Setiap satuan percobaan diisi oleh 4 tanaman sehingga diperoleh sebanyak 80 tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian frekuensi giberelin memberikan pengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kale pada hidroponik sistem sumbu serta perlakuaan kontrol memberikan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kale terbaik pada hidroponik, kecuali pada parameter rasio klorofil a/b dan kandungan total klorofil a dan b tanaman kale.

Abstract

This study entitled The Effect of Mixing AB Mix with Water Hyacinth Liquid Organic Fertilizer on the Growth and Yield of Lettuce in a Wick Hydroponic System was conducted from September to November 2025. The experiment was carried out at the Hydroponic House of the Agronomy Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Lambung Mangkurat University, Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan. The experimental design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with a single factor. The factor tested was the combination of AB Mix and water hyacinth liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) with five treatment levels, namely E0 = 100% AB Mix + 0% water hyacinth LOF, E1 = 75% AB Mix + 25% water hyacinth LOF, E2 = 50% AB Mix + 50% water hyacinth LOF, E3 = 25% AB Mix + 75% water hyacinth LOF, and E4 = 0% AB Mix + 100% water hyacinth LOF. Each treatment was replicated four times, resulting in 20 experimental units. Each experimental unit consisted of six plants, giving a total of 120 plants. Parameters observed included plant height (cm), number of leaves (leaves), stem diameter (cm), leaf area (cm²), fresh weight of plants (g), fresh shoot weight (g), dry shoot weight (g), dry root weight (g), shoot–root ratio, and radiation interception fraction. The results showed that the combination of AB Mix and water hyacinth LOF had a significant effect on plant height and number of leaves at all observation periods, stem diameter at 14, 21, 28, 35, and 42 days after transplanting (DAT), and leaf area at all observation periods. This treatment also showed significant to highly significant effects on fresh plant weight, fresh shoot weight, dry shoot weight, dry root weight, shoot–root ratio, and radiation interception fraction, particularly at 28 and 42 DAT.

Abstract

One strategy to increase peanut production is to apply effective cultivation technology, namely the use of biofertilizers and optimal planting distance management. This study aims to determine the effect of the interaction between mycorrhiza dosage and planting distance, to determine the effect of each single factor of mycorrhiza dosage and planting distance, and to determine the effect of mycorrhiza dosage and planting distance that shows the best peanut growth and yield on peatland. This study used a completely randomized factorial design with two factors: mycorrhiza (m) consisted of 4 levels m1 (0 kg ha-1), m2 (800 kg ha-1), m3 (1200 kg ha-1), and m4 (1600 kg ha-1), and planting distance (j) consisting of 4 levels j1 (40 × 10 cm), j2 (40 × 20 cm), j3 (40 × 30 cm), and j4 (40 × 40 cm). There were 16 treatment combinations repeated 3 times, resulting in 48 experimental units. The parameters observed were plant height (cm), number of branches, number of flowers, wet weight of canopy (g), dry weight of canopy (g), wet weight of roots (g), dry weight of roots (g), root volume (ml), root length (cm), number of roots, number of pods, number of empty pods, number of filled pods, number of seeds, seed weight per plant (g), and seed weight per plot (g). The interaction between mycorrhiza and planting distance had a significant effect on root wet weight, root volume, and root length. The single factor of mycorrhiza only had a significant effect on root length. The single factor of planting distance had a significant effect on plant height at 42 days after planting, number of branches at 42 days after planting, number of flowers at 42 days after planting, wet weight of canopy, dry weight of canopy, wet weight of roots, dry weight of roots, root volume, root length, number of roots, number of pods, number of empty pods, number of filled pods, number of seeds, seed weight per plant, and seed weight per plot. The optimal mycorrhiza rate was 800 kg ha⁻¹ (m²) and the optimal planting distance was 40 × 40 cm (j4).
