Abstract

Water Mimosa is an endemic wetland plant that has the potential to be developed due to its high benefits. Water Mimosa commonly grows on the surface of the water and shades under the canopy of other plants. Moreover, Water Mimosa can grow optimally in wetlands rich in N. Chicken manure has the highest N nutrient source compared to other manure. Therefore, it is important to research the effect of shading level and chicken manure dose on the growth and yield of Water Mimosa. The experiment was conducted from January to February 2020 in Sungai Tiung Village, Banjarbaru, using a split-plot, completely randomized design with three replications. The main plot was the shading, consisting of without shading, one layer of 50% shading net, and two layers of 50% shading net. Subplots were doses of chicken manure, namely 0, 5, 10, and 15 ton ha-1. The results indicated that the interaction of various shade levels affected the growth and yield of water mimosa with the optimum value found in the treatment without shade and the dose of chicken manure of 5 tons ha-1.

Abstract

Pemenuhan kebutuhan gizi khususnya sayuran yang sehat di masyarakat perkotaan memerlukan biaya yang tinggi. Ketersediaan lahan yang sempit dan kurangnya pengetahuan menyebabkan rendahnya minat budidaya tanaman masyarakat perkotaan. Pemanfaatan sampah organik limbah rumah tangga untuk budidaya sayuran secara organik dengan sistem vertikultur dapat meningkatkan kemampuan masyarakat dalam mengelola sampah rumah tangga dan produksi sayuran sehat.  Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di RT. 40 dan RT. 47, RW. 07 Kelurahan Guntung Manggis, Kecamatan Landasan Ulin, Kota Banjarbaru, Kalimantan Selatan. Tahapan kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah sosialisasi, praktik pembuatan demplot, dan monitoring. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini secara berkelanjutan akan meningkatankan kondisi lingkungan, memenuhi kecukupan gizi rumah tangga dan meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga.

Abstract

Palm sugar is the resulting liquid from flower tree sugar palm (Arenga pinnata Merr . ) through a thickening process . One of Content main are Flavonoids as antioxidant . Research purposes This is set flavonoid levels in various type temperature making brown sugar . Method used in study This is AlCl3 that is formation complex color on difference temperature in making palm sugar . Temperature used in study This is 55; 65; 75; 85; 100 0 C. Materials used is roomie palm oil , methanol , AlCl 3 , potassium acetate and equipment used is spectrophotometer. Accuracy results Flavonoid levels in sugar processing at a temperature of 55 0 C were obtained flavonoid content 1.72 ± 0.013; at a temperature of 65 0 C is 2.46 ± 0.023; at 75 0 C 1.32 ± 0.031; at a temperature of 85 0 C 1.18 ± 0.012; at 100 0 C 0.88 ± 0.012 mg QE/g sugar. Research conclusions This based on determination flavonoid levels in the process of making brown sugar, then along with increase temperature can make sugar lower Flavonoid levels in brown sugar

Abstract

Chronic inflammation is an inflammatory condition that persists over a long period of time causing tissue damage and contributing to the development of chronic diseases such as arthritis, heart disease, or certain autoimmune conditions. The protein that plays a role in this regulation is the up-regulation of NF-?B, this is the aim of this research, namely to determine the potential of the compounds contained in A.cerana honey to bind with NF-?B. The research stages carried out were preparing the NF-?B protein structure database, protein preparation using the Yasara application, structure preparation and optimization using the Chemaxon application, as well as validating the molecular docking method and docking of compounds from A.cerana honey on the NF-?B protein using the PLANT application. The research results show that Ellagic acid, Taxifolin, Quercetin and Chrysin have affinity and form hydrogen bonds with the NF-?B protein. The binding energy between Ellagic acid, Taxifolin, Quercetin and Chrysin with the NF-?B protein respectively is 78,822; -64.89; -64,872 and -64,935. Ellagic acid, Taxifolin, Quercetin and Chrysin have potential anti-inflammatory activity through binding to the NF-?B protein, thereby preventing the inflammatory process.

Abstract

Maggot termasuk dalam serangga decomposer yang mampu mengolah material organik. Dalam mengolah material organik maggot tidak memilih makanan yang dikehendaki akan tetapi maggot dipaksa memakan media yang di berikan yang berakhibat kandungan protein dari magot itu. Sehingga tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kandungan protein magot berdasarkan perbedaan media makan maggot. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah perbedaan media makan maggot yaitu sampah daun daunan, buah buahan , hewan dan rumah tangga. Analasis hasil yang digunakan adalah penepatan kadar protein maggot dengan metode lowry secara spektrofotometri. Hasil dari penelitain ini diperoleh persaman kurva baku Y: 0.009X + 0.0217 dengan nilai R2 adalah 0.9892. Kadar protein maggot dari dengan media sampah daun daunan (29 % ), buah buahan (35% ), hewan ( 43%), rumah tangga (239% ). Kesimpulannya Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan penggunaan media hewan mempunyai kandungan protein tertinggi disusul oleh sampah rumah tangga.

Abstract

Tenun merupakan karya manusia bernilai estetika dan memuat simbol dengan berbagai makna yang dituangkan ke dalam bentuk helaian kain berbahan dasar benang, dibuat dengan proses yang lama melalui cara menyatukan benang pakan melintang secara berulang-ulang. Salah satu sentra desa tenun di Kalimantan Selatan adalah Desa Manurung. Tehnik tenun yang dilakukan di Desa ini menggunakan tehnik gedog. Salah satu kelemahan tehnik gedog yaitu untuk memproduksi 1 kain dengan ukuran 2 meter diperlukan waktu satu bulan. Sehingga diperlukan tehnik lain untuk mempercepat produksi kain tenun. Salah satu tehnik tenun yang sederhana adalah menggunakan Alat Tenun Bukan Mesin.  Metode pengabdian yang dilakukan dimulai dengan Identifikasi Kebutuhan dan Potensi Masyarakat; Perencanaan Program Pelatihan ATBM; Pelaksanaan Pelatihan; Pelatihan Managerial. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah ketertarikan generasi muda berjumlah dua belas orang untuk mempelajari menenun menggunakan ATBM, dari dua belas orang yang terampil menggunakan ATBM lima orang, sehingga di Desa manurung yang terampil menggunakan ATBM delapan orang. Berdasarkan pelatihan managerial terdata aset Mitra 1 sebesar Rp 159.500.000,- dan Mitra II sebesar Rp 15.900.000,-. Kesimpulan Kegiatan Pengabdian berupa pelatihan penggunaan Alat Tenun Bukan Mesin dan managerial terhadap Mitra 1 dan Mitra 2 dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan mitra dalam hal tehnik menenun dan managerial dapat menjadi peluang pekerjaanAbstract. Tenun is a human work that has aesthetic value and contains symbols with various meanings that are poured into the form of strands of cloth made from yarn, made with a long process by repeatedly uniting the weft threads across. One of the centers of weaving villages in South Kalimantan is Manurung Village. The Tenun technique used in this village uses the gedog technique. One of the weaknesses of the gedog technique is that it takes one month to produce 1 cloth measuring 2 meters. So other techniques are needed to speed up the production of woven fabrics. One of the simple Tenun techniques is using Alat Tenun Bukan Mesin. The community service method used begins with Identifying Community Needs and Potential; ATBM Training Program Planning; Training Implementation; Managerial Training. The result of this activity is the interest of the young generation totaling twelve people to learn to weave using ATBM, of the twelve people who are skilled at using ATBM five people, so that in Manurung Village eight people are skilled at using ATBM. Based on the managerial training, the assets of Partner 1 were recorded at IDR 159,500,000 and Partner II at IDR 15,900,000. Conclusion Community Service Activities in the form of training on the use of Alat Tenun Bukan Mesin and managerial for Partners 1 and 2 can improve the knowledge and skills of partners in terms of tenun techniques and managerial can be a job opportunity

Abstract

Abstract. This community service activity was conducted in Manurung Village, Kusan Tengah District, Tanah Bumbu Regency, South Kalimantan, known as a traditional weaving village. The main challenges faced by the community are limited skills in producing value-added derivative products and a lack of understanding of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). The objective of this activity was to improve sewing skills for woven-based products, strengthen innovative designs with an IPR orientation, and encourage downstream product processing to increase economic value. The activity employed a participatory approach through training, mentoring, and evaluation involving two partner groups: the Mandiri Weaving Group and the Pagatan Weaving Generation Group. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in assets, skills, and income. The Mandiri Weaving Group recorded a 250% increase in sewing skills and a 97.1% increase in income, while the Pagatan Weaving Generation Group experienced a 62.6% increase in assets and a 132% increase in income. Other visible impacts included increased motivation, cross-generational involvement, and awareness of the importance of IPR protection. In conclusion, this community service activity successfully strengthened Manurung Village's position as a weaving village by combining cultural preservation and sustainable creative economic development. Abstrak. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Manurung, Kecamatan Kusan Tengah, Kabupaten Tanah Bumbu, Kalimantan Selatan, yang dikenal sebagai desa penghasil tenun tradisional. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi masyarakat adalah keterbatasan keterampilan dalam menghasilkan produk turunan bernilai tambah serta minimnya pemahaman terkait Hak Kekayaan Intelektual (HKI). Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan keterampilan menjahit produk berbasis tenun, memperkuat desain inovatif dengan orientasi HKI, serta mendorong hilirisasi produk untuk memperbesar nilai ekonomi. Metode kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif melalui pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi yang melibatkan dua kelompok mitra, yakni Kelompok Tenun Mandiri dan Kelompok Generasi Tenun Pagatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan aset, keterampilan, dan pendapatan secara signifikan. Kelompok Tenun Mandiri mencatat peningkatan keterampilan menjahit hingga 250% dan pendapatan 97,1%, sedangkan Kelompok Generasi Tenun Pagatan mengalami kenaikan aset sebesar 62,6% dan pendapatan hingga 132%. Dampak lain yang terlihat adalah meningkatnya motivasi, keterlibatan lintas generasi, serta kesadaran akan pentingnya perlindungan HKI. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan pengabdian ini berhasil memperkuat posisi Desa Manurung sebagai desa tenun dengan menggabungkan aspek pelestarian budaya dan pengembangan ekonomi kreatif yang berkelanjutan.
