Abstract

This study aimed to describe the level of readability, construction, and the effectiveness of sentences in research articles. The research data come from six research articles Makassar State University in 2011. Data collected through technical documentation with read-quoted. The results showed that: 1) the level of readability sentence in a scientific article written lecturers lower category, 2) construction of the phrase commonly used active form; 3) the ineffectiveness of the sentence, include: incoherence, confusion, incomplete elements, error passive, disunity ideas, and ketidakparalelan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the principal's leadership, organizational climate and work motivation on teacher performance in Vocational Schools in North Halmahera Regency both partially and simultaneously. Data from the analysis in this study shows that the Principal Leadership is in the good category in the implementation task. Besides that, the organizational climate shows good creation of a safe, comfortable atmosphere and hangs up the fun learning process. While work motivation both internal and external encouragement reaches the desired expectations. Based on multiple regression tests partially shows that the leadership of the principal, organizational climate does not have a positive influence on teacher performance. While work motivation has a positive and partial effect on the performance and simultaneously leadership of the principal, organizational climate, work motivation of this variable together have a positive effect on teacher performance.

Abstract

Abstract. Inter-Students Social Harmony through Bilingual Program Implementation of Math Course. This study aims at developing (1) student textbook, (2) student worksheets, and (3) instructional plans written in English and taught bilingually. The long term goal is the establishment of cooperation and social harmonization among the students. This employs research and development (R & D) method. The results of the data analysis show (1) the way to build social harmony among the students while helping them understand mathematics is bilingual-based instruction, (2) the factors affecting the implementation of the bilingual program is native language, social interaction under the local/ethnicity viscosity, and basic math skills of students as background knowledge to understanding of the instruction.   Abstrak. Harmoni Sosial Antarmahasiswa Melalui Implementasi Bilingual Program dalam Perkuliahan Matematika. Penelitian ini berfokus untuk menghasilkan (1) buku ajar mahasiswa, (2) lembar kerja mahasiswa, dan (3) rencana pelaksanaan perkuliahan yang ditulis dalam bahasa Inggris dan diajarkan dengan bilingual. Tujuan jangka panjang adalah terjalinnya hubungan kerja sama dan harmonisasi sosial antarmahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D). Hasil analisis data menunjukkan (1) cara membangun harmoni sosial antarmahasiswa sekaligus membantu pemahaman matematika adalah perangkat pembelajaran berbasis Bilingual Program, (2) faktor yang memengaruhi implementasi Bilingual Program adalah bahasa ibu, interaksi sosial dengan nilai kekentalan daerah/etnis, dan kemampuan dasar matematika mahasiswa yang menjadi bekal awal dalam memahami perangkat pembelajaran.   Kata kunci: harmoni sosial, pembelajaran matematika, program bilingual

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh Psychological Capital (PC) terhadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa yang dimediatori prokrastinasi mahasiswa di universitas/perguruan tinggi. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa di tingkat universitas/perguruan tinggi sebanyak 167 orang dengan proporsi 123 (73,7%) perempuan dan 44 (26,3%) laki-laki. Alat ukur penelitian ini menggunakan psychological capital questionnaire dan procrastination scale.   Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji bivariate correlations and moderated mediation. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh PC terhadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa.  Selanjutnya, ditemukan terdapat korelasi negatif  PC dan prokrastinasi.

Abstract

Continuous professional development is conducted  in accordance with the needs of teachers to achieve the standard of professional competence which also has implications for credit scoring for promotion / functional. Research was to understand the form of the training needs of sustainable professional development (PKB) on elementary school teachers in Gowa. Type descriptive qualitative research. Research subjects in primary school teachers in Gowa district, amounting to 35 people. The results showed the form of continuous professional development training needs (PKB) needed elementary school teacher in Gowa is is a selfdevelopment training, on a very important category. Because the primary school teachers aware of the importance of self-development should start from the teachers themselves.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know the ability of students in completing National Examination on Phyiscs Subject for Senior High School. The research was conducted at the Department of Physics Mathematic and Science Faculty at UNM. Research subject is Physics Education Program student at six semester, even semester of academic year 2011/2012. Analyzes were performed using descriptive analysis, hypothesis testing while using Kruskal-Wallis formula. Conclusions from the study are: (1) an average score is 63.07; (2) The average score of physical education students' of Schools in the Makassar is 62.00, in the Capital District/Town is 62.50, and outside the Capital District/Municipality is 63.63, and (3) There is a difference significantly among the three the students of school in the city of Makassar, the capital district, outside the capital city.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process and the development of mathematics learning media on three dimensional materials based on valid and practical, effective android applications. This research is a development of mathematics learning media on three dimensional material. The trial is limited to teachers and students intended to obtain a response, feedback on the learning media that has been developed. The results show that (1) The result of teacher response get the average score of 3.63 with very high category, (2) The result of the student response get the average score of 3.14 with high category, (3) classical reached 82.86%, (4) Results of students' motivation scores get 3.39 with high category. So based on the criteria, the learning media on the three dimensional materials based on android applications that have been developed declared valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian tindakan ini untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan supervisi pembelajaran berbasis kolaborasi dengan pendekatan sedayung tipat puter dapat meningkatkan kualitas kinerja sekolah meliputi (1) kompetensi supervisi kepala sekolah dan/atau tim supervisi, (2) kompetensi pedagogi guru, dan (3) terlaksananya Pengembangan Keprofesian Berkelanjutan (PKB). Data dikumpulkan selama 2 siklus dengan melakukan reduksi, interpretasi, inferensi, tindak lanjut, dan mengambil kesimpulan dari 3 kepala sekolah dan/atau tim supervisi pembelajaran dan 20 orang guru dari 3 sekolah penyelenggara Sistem Kredit Semester (SKS). Hasil penelitian adalah: (1) kompetensi supervisi pembelajaran kepala sekolah dan/atau tim supervisi meningkat, (2) kompetensi pedagogi guru meningkat, dan (3) terlaksana PKB yang ditandai dengan dihasilkannya 1 PTS (Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah), 1 penelitian eksperimen semu, dan  17 PTK (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas).

Abstract

Pengembangan Media Ajar Interaktif Berbasis “Wii-Mote” untuk Mendukung Laboratorium Virtual pada Mata Pelajaran Elektronika Digital di SMK. Laboratorium virtual dikembangkan menggunakan langkah-langkah yang dimulai dari analisis kebutuhan mengenai kelengkapan peralatan praktikum yang ada di SMK, dan dengan memperhatikan aspek-aspek metodologis laboratorium virtual. Integrasi metodologi virtual dilakukan melalui arsitektur yang meliputi studio room, user interface, simulation modelling, interactive tools, visual representation, virtual workspace, dan authoring tools. Laboratorium virtual yang dikembangkan bersifat aplikatif, komunikatif, interaktif, dan mampu mengembangkan keterampilan berfikir kritis. Keefektifan penggunaan laboratorium virtual menunjukkan rerata skor keseluruhan hasil penilaian dinilai sangat baik.Kata kunci: elektronika digital, laboratorium virtual
