Abstract

This study aims to systematically review and synthesize the literature on the relationship between digital transformation and audit innovation within waqf institutions. The focus is on how technological advancements influence transparency, accountability, and governance in Islamic social finance. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted following the PRISMA guidelines (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses). A total of 72 academic articles published between 2010 and 2025 were analyzed, sourced from reputable databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, Taylor & Francis, and Emerald Insight. The analysis employed bibliometric mapping using VOSviewer and thematic analysis to identify research trends, major themes, and the conceptual framework surrounding digital audit transformation in waqf institutions. The results reveal that digital transformation in waqf governance has progressed through three main phases: Digital recordkeeping (2010–2015), Fintech integration (2016–2020), and Adoption of blockchain-based and AI-powered audit systems (2021–2025). Four dominant research themes emerged: Digital infrastructure integration, Blockchain-enabled transparency, AI-driven audit analytics, Shariah-compliant audit governance frameworks. From these findings, the study proposes a conceptual model: Digital Transformation → Audit Innovation → Improved Governance → Waqf Sustainability. Digital audit innovation enhances efficiency, transparency, and public trust in waqf financial reporting, while also reducing the risk of mismanagement and moral hazard. However, challenges remain in the form of limited digital literacy, a lack of standardized technology-based Shariah audit regulations, and infrastructure disparities across waqf institutions. As a result, national bodies such as the Indonesian Waqf Board (BWI) are encouraged to develop standardized digital Shariah audit frameworks and capacity-building programs for waqf managers (nazhir) and Islamic auditors. This study contributes to the advancement of Islamic digital auditing by integrating technological dimensions with maqashid al-shariah–based ethical considerations. The resulting conceptual model offers a balanced digital governance structure that aligns technological efficiency with Islamic moral and spiritual accountability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the internalization of Pancasila values and spiritual intelligence on the prosocial behavior of Buddhist students. The method employed was a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of 50 selected articles obtained through systematic searching, screening based on inclusion–exclusion criteria, and citation chaining. The synthesis results indicate that the internalization of Pancasila values tends to be moderate to strong when integrated with spiritual and cultural dimensions, while spiritual intelligence functions as a mediator that deepens value internalization and promotes ethical behavior (Setiadi, 2019; Tumanggor et al., 2021; Untung et al., 2023). Prosocial behavior shows a positive correlation with value internalization and spiritual intelligence; however, it remains context-dependent and is not always sustained over time (Listiyaningsih et al., 2023; Rizkullah et al., 2024). Educational strategies based on experiential learning, reflection, and role modeling are proven to be more effective than normative–instructional approaches, particularly when contextualized within local cultural and religious frameworks (Solihah et al., 2020; Suroyo & Putra, 2024). The novelty of this study lies in its integrative synthesis, which positions spiritual intelligence as a mediating variable and educational strategies and cultural context as moderating variables in shaping prosocial behavior. These findings contribute to the development of a holistic and contextual framework for character education.

Abstract

This article is a systematic literature review (SLR) that review examines research on “Strategies for Enhancing the Professionalism of Buddhist Religious Education Teachers in Remote Areas” to address challenges in enhancing teacher professionalism in the context of distance Buddhist education. The review aims to evaluate strategies for enhancing professionalism, benchmark technology-enabled and community-based initiatives, identify challenges, compare pedagogical approaches, and analyze institutional and policy influences. A systematic analysis of qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods studies from Indonesia and comparable rural areas is conducted, focusing on interventions from the past two decades. Findings indicate that blended and AI-assisted training programs significantly improve teacher competency and pedagogical skills, while persistent infrastructure limitations and digital literacy gaps limit technology integration. Community and professional learning networks effectively reduce isolation and foster collaboration, although sustained engagement requires stronger institutional support. Pedagogical innovations, including mindful communication and digital literacy frameworks, improve teaching quality but often face challenges in practical application and contextual adaptation. Institutional and policy factors critically influence program sustainability, with funding, infrastructure, and policy alignment identified as key determinants. These findings converge to underscore the need for sustainable and context-sensitive strategies that integrate technological, sociocultural, and institutional dimensions. This review informs policy development and training program design aimed at promoting equitable and effective professional development for Buddhist education teachers in geographically villages areas.

Abstract

This review synthesizes research on social interaction in Buddhist religious practices, focusing on community gatherings, rituals, and meditation groups to address gaps in understanding their roles in social cohesion, cultural identity, and community dynamics. The review aims to evaluate the social functions of rituals and communal gatherings, compare meditation groups as social sites, identify mechanisms that foster cohesion and intercultural harmony, analyze the role of leadership, and contrast traditional and contemporary practices. A systematic analysis of qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method studies across diverse Buddhist traditions and geographical contexts was conducted, with particular emphasis on ethnographic and survey data from Asia, North America, and diaspora communities. The findings reveal that Buddhist rituals and meditation groups significantly enhance social integration, identity formation, and intercultural tolerance, while also adapting innovatively to urbanization and digital mediation. Spiritual leaders emerge as key mediators of social networks and cultural values, although issues of power dynamics and inclusivity warrant further scrutiny. Contemporary transformations are reshaping social practices but remain insufficiently examined through comprehensive critical evaluation. Collectively, these findings demonstrate the multifaceted social functions of Buddhist practices as dynamic sites of community resilience and cultural negotiation. This review underscores the need for integrative comparative research to deepen theoretical frameworks and to inform policy and community engagement in Buddhist studies and the broader study of religion

Abstract

Transformational leadership is one of the leadership styles considered effective in improving employee performance, especially in organizations facing the demands of change and workplace dynamics. This article aims to systematically analyze the influence of transformational leadership on employee performance based on previous research results. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by reviewing relevant national and international scientific articles on transformational leadership and employee performance. The findings indicate that transformational leadership has a positive and significant impact on employee performance, reflected in increased work motivation, organizational commitment, as well as work quality and productivity. Thus, the implementation of transformational leadership can be an important strategy for organizations in efforts to sustainably improve employee performance.

Abstract

The increase in electricity consumption in buildings in Indonesia is often not accompanied by optimal energy efficiency, thus burdening operational costs and national energy security. This literature review aims to analyze energy management and audit strategies in various building categories, ranging from government offices and shopping centers to educational facilities. This research design includes a literature review, which involves identifying and analyzing theories. The method used is a comparative analysis of energy audit results based on the SNI 6196:2011 standard and government regulations related to Energy Consumption Intensity (IKE). The results of this literature review are related to electrical energy management and energy audits in buildings. There are no gaps in this research. The literature review is supported by 13 national journals.

Abstract

The postpartum period is a critical phase in women's reproductive health because it involves complex physiological, psychological, and social changes and a significant risk of maternal complications. Although postnatal care (PNC) is necessary to ensure maternal recovery and early detection of complications, various studies have shown that barriers and gaps in services persist across various country contexts. These gaps include aspects of access, quality of care, continuity of care, and social and structural factors. This study aims to synthesize empirical evidence regarding the forms of barriers, key determinants, and strategies for reducing discrepancies in postpartum maternal care. This study used a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. The literature search was conducted through the Scopus database using a combination of keywords related to barriers and gaps in postpartum care with Boolean operators. Articles were limited to publications published between 2017 and 2025, in English, and available in full text. Of the 381 identified articles, 20 met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed through narrative synthesis and thematic analysis. Bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer was conducted to map the interrelationships and developments of the research themes. The results indicate that barriers to postpartum care are multilevel, encompassing individual factors (education, health literacy, postpartum depression), socioeconomic and geographic factors, variations in the quality and capacity of service systems, and policy and financing barriers. The most consistent determinants are education level, exposure to antenatal care, socioeconomic status, geographic access, and service quality. Bibliometric analysis indicates a predominance of mental health and clinical management themes, while issues of service equity are relatively underexplored. Postpartum care disparities relate not only to service protection but also to health system quality and continuity. An integrated, multilevel approach is needed to improve the equity and quality of maternal care.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan kajian literatur yang bertujuan untuk mensintesis temuan-temuan empiris tentang paradoks perilaku menabung Generasi Z, khususnya terkait kontradiksi antara meningkatnya literasi keuangan dan gaya hidup konsumtif. Dengan menganalisis tujuh artikel jurnal nasional terakreditasi periode 2024-2025, studi ini memetakan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat menabung Generasi Z. Hasil sintesis menunjukkan adanya kontradiksi temuan: di satu sisi literasi keuangan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat menabung di bank syariah dan platform online, namun di sisi lain tidak berpengaruh signifikan dalam konteks investasi tabungan emas. Media sosial terbukti memiliki peran ganda sebagai kanal edukasi sekaligus pemicu konsumtivisme dengan efektivitasnya tergantung pada literasi keuangan dan nilai religiusitas individu. Determinan lain seperti religiusitas, transparansi, dan kondisi ekonomi juga turut mempengaruhi, dengan literasi keuangan berperan sebagai variabel mediasi antara digitalisasi dan keputusan menabung. Kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa perilaku menabung Generasi Z merupakan fenomena multidimensional yang memerlukan pendekatan holistik, serta membuka peluang riset lanjutan tentang mekanisme psikologis yang menjembatani pengetahuan dan tindakan finansial.

Abstract

Ritual Ma’nene’ merupakan tradisi adat Suku Toraja yang merepresentasikan penghormatan mendalam terhadap leluhur serta mencerminkan pandangan hidup masyarakat tentang relasi antara kehidupan, kematian, dan kesinambungan generasi. Tradisi ini tidak sekadar praktik perawatan jenazah, melainkan wujud ekspresi nilai spiritual, sosial, dan budaya yang diwariskan turun-temurun. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji asal-usul Ritual Ma’nene’, memahami prosesi pelaksanaannya, serta menganalisis maknanya sebagai representasi penghormatan leluhur. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologis, bersumber pada artikel ilmiah, buku, dan dokumen akademik relevan. Analisis dilakukan melalui reduksi data, pengelompokan tema, dan penafsiran makna guna menemukan esensi nilai budaya yang terkandung di dalamnya. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Ritual Ma’nene’ berakar pada kepercayaan tradisional Toraja yang memandang leluhur tetap hadir secara spiritual dalam kehidupan keluarga. Pelaksanaannya dilakukan secara kolektif dan sarat nilai kebersamaan, tanggung jawab moral, serta penghormatan terhadap sejarah keluarga. Dengan demikian, Ritual Ma’nene’ berfungsi sebagai media pelestarian budaya, penguatan ikatan kekeluargaan, dan peneguhan identitas sosial-spiritual masyarakat Toraja hingga masa kini.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the representation of poverty in the short story Mata yang Enak Dipandang through a sociological approach to literature. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The data consist of textual excerpts from the short story that reflect representations of poverty, social relations, exploitation, and social criticism. Data were collected through reading and note-taking techniques, while data analysis was conducted through stages of data reduction, categorization, interpretation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that poverty in the short story is represented as a multidimensional phenomenon encompassing economic, social, psychological, and symbolic aspects. The main character experiences marginalization, exploitation, and social pressure, which reinforce her position as a subordinate group. In addition, the story highlights how society tends to judge individuals based on physical appearance, thereby reinforcing discrimination against the poor. The use of symbolism and metaphor further emphasizes the social criticism conveyed by the author. The implications of this study suggest that literary works can function as a medium for social reflection that enhances awareness, empathy, and understanding of the reality of poverty in society.
