Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work discipline and compensation on employee performance. This research is categorized as associative research. Hypothesis testing was conducted using multiple regression analysis. The sampling technique employed was probability sampling, using the Slovin formula. The sample consisted of 134 employees out of a total population of 200 within the Financial Work Unit I of Ditkuad. Data were processed using SPSS software version 24. The data analysis techniques included classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and determination coefficient testing. The results showed that work discipline had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and compensation also had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, work discipline and compensation had a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to establish harmonious cooperation between human resources within an agency or organization so that it can affect the performance of the agency, especially at the Jakarta Military Regional Command (Kodam Jaya). The method of analysis is done through explanatory research, with the application of PLS/SEM. Concepts and problems under study look at causality, then explain the variables causing the problem under study. The research sample was 123 Staff and Regional Military Command Officers of Kodam Jaya. The results of this study Competence has a positive effect on the performance of personnel at Kodam Jaya. Synergy has a positive effect on the performance of personnel at Kodam Jaya. Leadership has a positive effect on performance at Kodam Jaya. Competence and synergy have a positive effect on personnel performance at Kodam Jaya which is mediated by leadership, illustrating that competence, synergy and leadership at Kodam Jaya can have an influence on personnel performance at the Jakarta Military Regional Command.

Abstract

There are still many obstacles in carrying out the main tasks of the Bengpuspal Puspalad. The Aims of this research are determined how much the avarege degree of the competency and the motivation well as the performance of the army in Bengpuspal Puspalad whether determined the influence of the competency to the performance of the army, determined the influences of the motivation to the performance of the army, and also determined the influences of both the competency and the motivation to the performance of the army in the Bengpuspal Puspalad. The research is conducted by using descriptive research with quantitative approach with disstratified random sample. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires, interviews, and documentation with 67 of sample if the army in Bengpuspal Puspalad. The results indicated that the competency, the motivation and the performance of the army in Bengpuspal Puspalad included in good categories. The statistical test showed that the competency and the motivation of the army partially and simultaneously have an influenced to the performance of the army in Bengpuspal Puspalad.

Abstract

Performance reflects the outcomes achieved by an organization within a certain period and is closely linked to the performance of its members. To improve member performance, it is important to identify influencing factors such as job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and organizational culture. This quantitative study examines the impact of these factors on the performance of Kodam IV/Diponegoro soldiers, both partially and simultaneously. The study involved 78 respondents selected using the Slovin formula, with data collected through library and field research, and analyzed using SPSS version 25.0. The results show that job satisfaction and organizational commitment do not significantly affect performance, while organizational culture does. A stronger organizational culture is associated with better soldier performance.

Abstract

The Indonesian Army is always trying to improve the performance of its personnel, one of which is at the Indonesian Army Education and Training Command, due to a decline in the performance of planning and budget officers of the Indonesian Army Education and Training Command, as seen from the 2024 performance assessment, which is estimated to be influenced by suboptimal supervision and control. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of supervision and control on the performance of planning and budget officers of the Indonesian Army Education and Training Command work units. The research method employed is a quantitative approach, with 42 respondents comprising planning and budget officers from the Indonesian Army Education and Training Command's work units. The analysis method utilizes multiple linear regression, while the sampling technique employs random sampling. The results of the study showed that there was a positive and significant influence between supervision on performance, there was a positive and significant influence between control on performance, then the results of this study also showed that there was a positive and significant influence between supervision and control on the performance of planning and budget officers of the Indonesian Army Education and Training Command work units. The increasing supervision and control will also increase the performance of planning and budget officers of the Indonesian Army Education and Training Command's work units.

Abstract

The active involvement of Babinsa in territorial development is a key factor in realizing a strong space, tools and conditions for defense to effectively support the main tasks of Kodim at the local level so that Babinsa has a very strategic role in maintaining regional stability and resilience, including Babinsa at Kodim 1207/PTK. In reality, the performance of Babinsa in Kodim 1207/PTK is relatively low. This is due to limitations in the education and training received, the lack of access to or quality of training, which negatively impacts skill development, and the uneven workload distribution, as each Babinsa is generally assigned to only one village. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of competence, motivation, and job satisfaction on performance. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The results of the study show that competence, job satisfaction, and Babinsa's performance are categorized as sufficient, while motivation falls into the low category. The data analysis results indicate that competence, motivation, and job satisfaction have a significant positive effect on Babinsa's performance, both partially and simultaneously. These results suggest that to improve Babinsa's performance, efforts should be made to enhance competence through training and education, increase motivation through various incentive and reward programs, and create a supportive work environment. Thus, a holistic approach that includes the development of competence, motivation, and job satisfaction will have a positive impact on the performance of Babinsa in Kodim 1207/PTK.

Abstract

Intellectual Capital (IC) is increasingly recognized as a critical asset for organizational success. In parallel with rising awareness of sustainability, the concept of Sustainable Intellectual Capital (SIC) has emerged. Despite its relevance, empirical research on SIC is still scarce, especially regarding its linkage to sustainable organizational performance. This study addresses this gap through a case study of an MSME supported by PT LEN, this study aims to assess how internal organizational stakeholders perceive the concepts of SIC, sustainability, and sustainable performance, as well as to gain a deeper understanding of the impact of SIC on the economic, social, and environmental dimensions of sustainable organizational performance. The evidence indicates that stakeholders are not familiar with the concept of SIC and tend to overemphasize the environmental dimension when referring to sustainability and sustainable performance. Furthermore, the findings reveal that the organization’s sustainable performance is influenced by all components of SIC—human, structural, and relational capital. This study contributes to the development of two distinct yet complementary streams of research: intellectual capital and sustainability capabilities. It also offers important managerial implications for industrial organizations concerned with their performance. Finally, any generalization to other contexts should be made on a purely theoretical basis.

Abstract

Kodim 1801/Manokwari is a military organization which has the main task of organizing combat and territorial training. However, in its implementation, Kodim 1801/Manokwari experienced problems where there were still individuals whose performance did not fully reach the expected performance standards. In overcoming these problems, it is important for Kodim 1801/Manokwari to improve the competency and work discipline of personnel. This research aims to determine the influence of competence and work discipline on the performance of Kodim 1801/Manokwari personnel. This research uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique in this research used purposive sampling with a sample size of 75 respondents using the Slovin formula. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the competency and work discipline of personnel are in the sufficient category, which indicates a need for further improvement. The results of data analysis show that competence and work discipline have a significant positive influence on the performance of Kodim 1801/Manokwari personnel. This research recommends strategic steps to improve personnel performance, including continued efforts in capacity building through relevant training, coaching, and field experience. Additionally, regular evaluation of performance and providing constructive feedback is necessary to help personnel improve and develop brand capabilities.

Abstract

Competition in the business world is getting tighter, this requires every company to be able to take the right strategic steps to win the competition with competitors. One example is the Yamaha Padayungan Motor Dealership, after being closed for almost 4 years in motorcycle sales, trying to bounce back with more effective and efficient marketing measures to keep up with the times. With the implementation of digital marketing and improving service quality, the dealer strives to have fast and significant sales progress. So that it can restore the reputation of the Yamaha Padayungan Motor dealer back to become one of the Pioneer dealers in Tasikmalaya City. This study aims to find out how to descriptive analysis of digital marketing conditions, service quality and motorcycle purchase decisions, how the influence of digital marketing and service quality on motorcycle purchase decisions at Yamaha Padayungan Motor dealers. This research method uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method of causality. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire with a Google Form which is distributed to consumers who have bought a motorcycle at a Yamaha Padayungan Motor dealership, with the number of consumers who answered the questionnaire as many as 100 respondents. For the data processing process and analysis, multiple linear regression analysis was used with the help of the SPSS version 26.0 application. The results of this study show that digital marketing and service quality have a positive and significant effect on motorcycle purchase decisions at Yamaha Padayungan Motor dealers.

Abstract

Every month, Finance Officer of Rank II - IV of Kudam V/Brw get assessment results as a form of job evaluation. During January 2023 to March 2024, the phenomenon of Paku Satker's performance appraisal showed results that were not optimal so it was necessary to analyze the indicators that influenced this performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Work Motivation, Workload and Job Training on Performance of Soldiers and Civil Servants of Kudam V / Brw. This research uses quantitative methods. The object of research amounted to 175 respondents. The results of statistical analysis on partial tests show that Work Motivation and Job Training have a positive effect while Workload has no effect on Performance. Furthermore, the simultaneous test shows that Work Motivation, Workload and Job Training affect performance. It can be concluded that increasing Work Motivation and Job Training and decreasing Workload can improve the Performance of Soldiers and Civil Servants of Kudam V / Brw.
