Journal of Information Systems and Business Technology (JISBT) adalah jurnal ilmiah yang didedikasikan khusus untuk pengembangan keilmuan di bidang Sistem Informasi. Jurnal ini menjadi wadah untuk penyebaran hasil penelitian, inovasi teknologi, serta pemikiran kritis yang berfokus pada penerapan dan pengembangan sistem informasi dalam berbagai konteks bisnis dan organisasi. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menjadi referensi utama bagi akademisi, peneliti, dan praktisi yang bergerak di bidang Sistem Informasi, serta menjadi sarana kontribusi terhadap peningkatan literasi teknologi dan manajemen informasi di era digital. Abstract

Nando Water Refill Drinking Water Depot still uses manual processes to manage customer data and orders. This makes the recording and service processes less effective. This study aims to design an online management information and customer ordering system for Nando Water Refill Drinking Water Depot. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which consists of requirements planning, design, construction, and implementation. The system is web-based and used to manage customer data, services, orders, transactions, payments, and order history. The results show that the system can help Nando Water manage data and orders in a more organized way and make it easier for customers to place orders online.

Abstract

Cybersecurity education in Indonesia still lacks structured Indonesian-language learning resources. At PT Linuxhackingid, learning is delivered through live classes but lacks written modules, a progress monitoring system, and an integrated practice laboratory, causing learning activities to be scattered across disconnected platforms. This created a gap between participants, who struggled to review material independently, and instructors, who had no integrated means of monitoring learning progress. This study aims to design and develop CyberLearn, a web-based cybersecurity learning platform integrating written materials, interactive quizzes, progress tracking, and a Capture The Flag (CTF) practice laboratory. The method used is Design and Development Research (DDR) with the ADDIE model, covering needs analysis, design and development, evaluation, and revision. Data were collected through observation and interviews with instructors, while system testing applied Black Box for functionality and the User Acceptance Test (UAT) for user acceptance. The UAT involving 13 respondents (8 instructors, 5 participants) obtained an average score of 4.31 out of 5 (86.2%), categorized as Very Good. The results revealed a difference in acceptance between roles, 4.82 among instructors and 3.49 among participants, indicating that quiz item variety and CTF laboratory difficulty require further refinement. Overall, CyberLearn is feasible as an integrated cybersecurity learning medium.

Abstract

The continued growth of information technology has encouraged many service businesses to adopt digital systems in order to improve the quality of their services, including futsal court rental businesses. At Coy Futsal, reservations are still handled through messaging services or by customers visiting the venue directly. This condition can cause schedule recording mistakes, slow payment confirmation, and limited access to current information about court availability. This research focuses on designing and developing a web-based futsal court reservation application equipped with an online payment facility to make reservation activities more effective and efficient. The application development applies the Agile method using the Scrum approach, while system analysis and modeling use Unified Modeling Language (UML), consisting of Use Case, Activity, Sequence, and Class diagrams. PHP is used for application development, MySQL is used to manage the database, and Midtrans Payment Gateway is integrated to facilitate online payment transactions. Functional verification is carried out through Black Box Testing. The implementation results show that the application can simplify court reservations and online payments, display court schedules and availability in real time, and assist administrators in organizing reservation records, court information, and transaction reports. The system therefore provides support for improving service quality and streamlining operational activities at Coy Futsal.

Abstract

At Dermier Shila Clinic, treatment bookings still travel through WhatsApp chats before staff copy every detail by hand into notebooks and daily logs. That routine keeps producing the same headaches: entries go missing, numbers get mistyped, confirmations arrive late, two patients end up booked with the same doctor at once, and payment, scheduling, and notification records never sit in one place. Together these gaps drag down how efficiently the clinic runs and how consistent its service feels. This paper reports on building a web-based booking platform meant to close those gaps by letting customers book on their own, giving the clinic a clearer view of doctor schedules, and folding booking, payment, and notification into a single system. Development followed the Rapid Application Development (RAD) cycle across its four stages: Requirements Planning, User Design, Rapid Construction, and Cutover. Field data came from direct observation, interviews with clinic staff, and a review of related literature, and the platform itself runs on a PHP back end with a MySQL database. Two rounds of testing followed: Black Box Testing to check functional behavior, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to gauge how real users experienced it. The finished platform now handles treatment booking, doctor scheduling, payment, notifications, and customer records inside one web application, with every tested function behaving as intended. Forty-five participants took part in the UAT round, and their responses averaged 89.89 percent, placing the system in the Highly Feasible category. Taken together, these results indicate the platform sharpens day-to-day efficiency, cuts down on recording mistakes and scheduling clashes, and lifts the overall standard of service at Dermier Shila Clinic.

Abstract

The management of funding and procurement at PT Teknokrat Mitra Data, located at Ruko Business Park Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, currently operates semi-manually using Microsoft Excel, triggering risks of human error, data duplication, and slow approval bureaucracy. This research aims to design a centralized web-based funding and procurement information system to overcome these administrative obstacles. The software development applies the Agile Scrum methodology using the Laravel framework, MySQL database, and Unified Modeling Language (UML). The result of the research is an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform that successfully integrates the workflows of the SuperAdmin, Sales, HR & GA, and Finance divisions, and has been proven valid through Black Box testing in preventing data input anomalies. The testing demonstrated 100% valid output across scenarios, indicating the system is reliable. In conclusion, the implementation of this system significantly improves the effectiveness of real-time submission status monitoring and creates a financial authorization flow that is much more efficient, transparent, and paperless.

Abstract

The writing of this thesis entitled "Design Of A Website-Based Point Of Sale (Pos) And Payroll System Using The Agile Method (Case Study: Cafe 3g Coffee)" is motivated by the operational conditions at Cafe 3G Coffee, located at Jl. Raya Puspitek No. 12, Buaran, Serpong District, South Tangerang City, Banten. At the research location, sales transaction records were still carried out manually using handwritten receipts, while employee payroll management was handled separately using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. These conditions led to operational issues such as a high risk of calculation and recording errors (Human error), service delays during peak hours, and difficulties in preparing accurate Real-time financial and payroll reports. To overcome these problems, an integrated web-based Point of Sale (POS) and payroll system was developed. This research applied the Agile Development method, which is adaptive, flexible, and iterative, encompassing key stages: Requirements, Design, Development, Testing, Deployment, and Review. Data collection was conducted through direct observation, structured interviews with the owner and cashier, and literature studies. The results of this study show that the developed web-based POS and payroll application effectively accelerates transaction processing, automatizes employee payroll calculations, and generates fast, accurate, and Real-time sales and business analytics reports. System evaluation through Black Box and Beta Testing demonstrated a significant increase in operational efficiency and user satisfaction compared to the previous manual system.

Abstract

The sales and building material data collection processes at TB DD Jaya Bangunan are currently still carried out conventionally and manually. This results in limited consumer reach, slow product searches by staff, and price and stock availability information that is often updated late. This study aims to design a web-based Digital Product Catalog Information System with a building material search feature to improve operational efficiency, provide information transparency to customers, and expand market reach. The system development method used is the Spiral method, which is carried out through the stages of planning, risk identification, engineering and modeling, as well as prototyping and evaluation. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and document studies. This system was designed using Unified Modeling Language (UML) and built using PHP, HTML, CSS, and MySQL database. The results of this study indicate that the proposed system is capable of facilitating customers in searching for materials and ordering remotely, as well as assisting the store in managing product data, inventory, and sales reports more structurally and accurately. Functional testing using the Black Box method proved that all main system features have operated well in accordance with user requirements.

Abstract

The Point of Sale (POS) system is an information system that plays an important role in supporting business operations, particularly in the ordering process, payment transactions, and sales data management. Based on the results of observations and interviews conducted at Hello Nara Coffee, it was found that transaction processing, customer ordering, and sales report preparation were still carried out manually or by using simple spreadsheet applications. These conditions resulted in inefficient service processes, increased the risk of recording errors, and made it difficult to monitor sales data in real time. This study aims to design and develop a web-based Point of Sale (POS) Information System capable of integrating the ordering process, payment transactions, menu management, table management, cashier shift management, and automated sales report generation. The system was developed using the Agile method with a Backlog approach through the stages of Product Backlog, Sprint Planning, Sprint Backlog, Sprint Execution, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective. The system was built using the Laravel framework, a MySQL database, and integrated with the Midtrans payment gateway. The results of this study indicate that the developed system simplifies the ordering process through QR Code, accelerates transaction processing, improves the accuracy of sales data recording, generates daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports automatically, and facilitates operational management for administrators and business owners. Based on the results of Black Box Testing, all major system functions operated according to user requirements, indicating that the system is suitable for implementation in the operational activities of Hello Nara Coffee.

Abstract

The growth of information technology increasingly requires schools to manage academic administration more effectively. TK Generasi Indonesia still records student data, attendance, and progress reports through paper documents and separate Microsoft Excel files, a practice that has repeatedly caused duplicate entries, delayed reports, and files that are difficult to trace. To address this condition, the present study designs and builds a web-based academic information system covering online student admission, teacher and student data management, attendance recording, and progress-report input, developed through an iterative Agile approach that involves the school directly at every stage. System requirements were obtained through direct observation of the existing administrative workflow, interviews with the principal and administrative staff, and a review of the forms and archives already used by the school. These findings were then translated into a system design expressed through Unified Modeling Language diagrams and a relational MySQL database. Black Box Testing was subsequently carried out on every functional scenario, from the login process to report generation, and all scenarios produced valid results. The findings show that the Agile approach allowed the system to be continuously adjusted to the school's actual needs and produced an integrated platform that shortens administrative work, reduces data-entry errors, and gives parents faster access to information on their children's academic progress.

Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged the use of web-based information systems to support administrative and management processes in educational institutions. SMP Negeri 1 Legok has 14 extracurricular activities; however, the management of extracurricular data, student registration, attendance, and activity documentation has not yet been integrated into a single web-based system. This condition may cause difficulties in managing data and delivering information related to extracurricular activities. The purpose of this research is to design and develop a web-based extracurricular management and attendance information system at SMP Negeri 1 Legok using the Agile Scrum method. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The system was developed using the Laravel framework, PHP programming language, and MySQL database. The proposed system provides various features for managing student and extracurricular data, student registration, registration validation, activity information, attendance recording, documentation uploads, and attendance reports based on the defined user access rights. System testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method to ensure that the developed functions operate according to the identified requirements. The results of the research indicate that the developed system can support extracurricular management and attendance processes in a more structured and integrated manner.
