Journal of Information Systems and Business Technology (JISBT) adalah jurnal ilmiah yang didedikasikan khusus untuk pengembangan keilmuan di bidang Sistem Informasi. Jurnal ini menjadi wadah untuk penyebaran hasil penelitian, inovasi teknologi, serta pemikiran kritis yang berfokus pada penerapan dan pengembangan sistem informasi dalam berbagai konteks bisnis dan organisasi. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menjadi referensi utama bagi akademisi, peneliti, dan praktisi yang bergerak di bidang Sistem Informasi, serta menjadi sarana kontribusi terhadap peningkatan literasi teknologi dan manajemen informasi di era digital. Abstract

Pengelolaan data penduduk merupakan aspek penting dalam mendukung pelayanan administrasi pemerintahan desa. Di Desa Maja Baru, proses pengelolaan kependudukan masih dilakukan secara manual menggunakan buku pencatatan dan Microsoft Excel, sehingga menimbulkan kendala seperti terjadinya data ganda, kesalahan pencatatan, keterlambatan pembaruan data, dan penyusunan laporan yang memerlukan waktu lama. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan membangun Sistem Informasi Pengelolaan Data Penduduk berbasis web guna meningkatkan efektivitas, efisiensi, dan akurasi pendataan. Metode pengembangan sistem menggunakan Rapid Application Development (RAD) karena mampu menghasilkan perangkat lunak dalam waktu singkat melalui proses iteratif yang melibatkan pengguna. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan perangkat desa untuk mengidentifikasi prosedur administrasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan mampu mengintegrasikan seluruh data ke dalam satu basis data terpusat. Proses input, pencarian, dan penyusunan laporan dapat dilakukan lebih cepat dan akurat. Sistem ini meminimalkan kesalahan pengolahan data serta membantu aparatur desa menjalankan tugas secara lebih terstruktur.

Abstract

The business processes at PT Safari Dharma Raya, including travel ticket booking, logistics management, transaction recording, and report generation, are still carried out manually using books and Microsoft Excel. This condition raises problems such as recording errors, data duplication, delayed information, and low operational efficiency. This study aims to design and develop an integrated web-based travel and logistics management information system to address these problems. The system was developed using the Agile method with the Scrum framework, allowing development to proceed gradually, iteratively, and adaptively according to user needs. The system was built with the PHP Framework Laravel combined with Livewire for interface interactivity, TailwindCSS for styling, MySQL as the database, and Laragon as the local development server. The main features include passenger data management, ticket booking, goods and logistics delivery, transaction management, and report generation. Black-box testing on 16 functional modules showed that all test scenarios produced valid results. The system successfully integrates travel and logistics business processes into a single platform, improves data management efficiency, reduces recording errors, accelerates administrative processes, and produces more accurate and centralized information. It is concluded that the Agile Scrum approach provides an effective solution for PT Safari Dharma Raya in supporting operational efficiency and better decision-making.

Abstract

This study designs and implements a Business Intelligence platform named BitesBI to address the operational challenges of PT Bon Kreasi Indonesia (Bonbonbites). The primary issues identified are product naming inconsistencies in the exported Point of Sales (POS) Olsera data—which generate dirty, unconsolidated historical data—and the absence of an analytical dashboard that forces management to determine promotion strategies based on intuition rather than empirical data. BitesBI was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, implemented in Python 3.11 with the Flask framework. The system employs an Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) process equipped with a Mapping Alias feature to standardize Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) naming inconsistencies. Cleansed data is subsequently processed by a Rule-Based Engine to automatically generate next-period sales projection estimates (T+1) and objective promotion strategy recommendations per product. Black Box Testing validated all five functional scenarios as correct, while White Box Testing verified that the ETL pipeline and Rule-Based Engine algorithms are free from logical defects. The implementation of this system successfully transforms management's tactical decision-making process from intuition-based to fully data-driven.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has prompted educational institutions to handle academic data using computerized systems. At SMP Insan Madani, the documentation of student attendance and the compilation of report card grades continue to be done by hand, leading to fragmented data management and possible recording mistakes. This research focuses on creating an online Academic Management Information System to assist in managing attendance and systematically processing and summarizing student grades. Data were gathered via observation, interviews, and literature analysis, while the system was created using Agile Scrum through Product Backlog, Sprint Planning, Sprint, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective. The system grants access to Administrators, Teachers, and the Principal, and was evaluated through Black Box Testing. The findings indicate that the system facilitates centralized management of attendance, processing of grades according to subjects and academic years, and the display of student learning outcomes via E-Report. The adoption of Agile Scrum facilitates incremental system development aligned with the requirements of SMP Insan Madani.

Abstract

PT. Teleport Data Persada is an internet service provider that still faces several challenges in delivering information services to customers, such as customer inquiries submitted through WhatsApp to Customer Service, repetitive questions, and limited service availability outside operating hours. This study aims to design and develop a web-based company service chatbot system to support customer information services. The system development method used in this study is Agile with the Scrum framework, while Natural Language Processing (NLP) is applied to process text input and identify the intent of user inquiries. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The chatbot system is integrated with the Google Gemini API to generate responses and provides service information and internet installation order features to assist prospective customers in submitting internet installation requests in a more structured manner. The result of this study is a web-based chatbot system that can help provide service information automatically to customers.

Abstract

Pratama Employee data management, attendance recording, leave requests, and payroll calculations at PT Aneka Indoraya Plasindo were previously conducted manually using physical documents and logbooks. These conventional processes led to several issues, including slow retrieval of attendance records, the risk of data loss or damage, physical archive accumulation, and potential errors in payroll calculations. This study aims to design and develop an integrated web-based Employee Information Management System to improve human resource administrative efficiency and payroll calculation accuracy. The system was developed using the Spiral Development Model, which consists of iterative cycles involving planning, risk analysis, engineering/development, and user evaluation stages. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation review. System modeling was designed using UML (Use Case Diagram, Activity Diagram, Sequence Diagram, and Class Diagram) alongside ERD and LRS database relationships. System functionality was tested using the Black Box Testing method. The outcome of this research is a web-based Employee Information Management System application (AIRA HRIS) equipped with user and department management, Face ID biometric attendance integrated with Geofence GPS location verification, real-time attendance monitoring, leave/permit request and approval modules, salary component management, automated payroll processing, and slip recap generation/exporting. Based on Black Box Testing results, all system functions operated successfully according to user requirements. Consequently, this system effectively reduces data loss risks, accelerates attendance and payroll processing, and enhances operational transparency at PT Aneka Indoraya Plasindo.

Abstract

PT. Jaya Abad QAL is a company engaged in the supply of office stationery (ATK). In its operational activities, the company still uses Microsoft Excel to record and manage ordering data, inventory, invoices, payments, and reports. Managing data across separate files causes information retrieval, stock checking, and report preparation to rely on manual processes, resulting in less efficient operations. This research aims to develop a web-based ordering information system that integrates the management of company data and transactions into a single system. The system is developed using the Agile method, which allows the development process to be carried out incrementally and adapted to user requirements. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature review, while system testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method. The resulting system provides features for managing customers, suppliers, products, purchase orders, invoices, tax invoices, payments, inventory, accounts receivable, and reports. The system also includes a dashboard that presents information visually to facilitate the monitoring of the company's operational activities. The implementation of an integrated system helps reduce data recording across separate files, facilitates information retrieval, and supports more structured transaction management and report preparation. Based on the testing results, all system functions operated according to the predetermined requirements. Therefore, the developed system can support the ordering process and the management of operational information at PT. Jaya Abad QAL.

Abstract

Sub-district public services play a vital role in fulfilling the administrative needs of local citizens. However, the service mechanisms in Kreo Sub-district still encounter various operational constraints because administrative submissions and grievance reporting remain largely un-digitized. Consequently, this traditional setup extends processing durations, elevates human error risks in record-keeping, and restricts residents from tracking their application progress. This study aims to build an integrated web-based public service platform tailored for Kreo Sub-district using the Agile development framework. Data gathering was carried out via field observations, interviews, and relevant literature reviews. System modeling was performed using the Unified Modeling Language (UML), while data storage structures were constructed through Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD) and Logical Record Structures (LRS). The resulting system accommodates administrative requests—comprising Family Cards, Electronic IDs, Domicile Transfer Letters, Birth Certificates, and Death Certificates—alongside an online public feedback channel. Three distinct user roles are accommodated: local residents, administrative employees, and the Sub-district Head. Functional validation using Black Box Testing verified that every core module operates according to pre-defined specifications. Overall findings demonstrate that the platform establishes a more systematic, efficient, and transparent public service workflow for both the community and local authorities.

Abstract

Koperasi Syariah Benteng Mikro Indonesia (BMI) selama ini mengelola proses pengajuan cuti karyawan secara manual, sehingga menimbulkan kendala seperti proses persetujuan yang lambat, pencatatan sisa cuti yang kurang akurat, dan kesulitan dalam merekapitulasi data cuti. Pelnellitian ini belrtujuan untuk melrancang dan melmbangun Sistelm Pelngajuan Cuti belrbasis welb guna melmpelrmudah prosels pelngajuan, pelrseltujuan, dan pellaporan cuti karyawan. Sistelm dikelmbangkan melnggunakan bahasa pelmrograman PHP dan basis data MySQL, delngan pelmodellan sistelm melnggunakan Unifield Modelling Languagel (UML) dan meltodel pelngelmbangan pelrangkat lunak Pelrsonal ELxtrelmel Programming (PXP). Sistelm ini melmiliki elmpat hak aksels pelngguna, yaitu staf, manajelr cabang, manajelr relgional, dan manajelr SDM, delngan alur pelrseltujuan cuti selcara belrtingkat di mana pelmotongan sisa cuti dilakukan pada tahap pelrseltujuan akhir olelh manajelr SDM. Fitur yang diseldiakan melliputi pelngajuan cuti selcara onlinel, informasi sisa cuti selcara relal-timel, pelrseltujuan belrtingkat, pelnceltakan surat izin cuti, selrta laporan relkapitulasi cuti dalam format PDF dan ELlell. Pelngujian sistelm dilakukan melnggunakan meltodel black-box telsting, dan hasilnya melnunjukkan bahwa selluruh fungsi sistelm belrjalan selsuai delngan yang diharapkan. Delngan adanya sistelm ini, prosels pelngellolaan cuti melnjadi lelbih celpat, akurat, dan elfisieln.
