Prakata: Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia Serta Pembelajaran
Focus and Scope Fokus Jurnal Prakata diarahkan pada kajian linguistik Bahasa Indonesia, kesusastraan Indonesia, dan pembelajaran Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia yang berbasis riset, teori, dan praktik empiris. Jurnal ini mendorong artikel yang memiliki kebaruan ilmiah (novelty), relevansi akademik, ketepatan metodologis, serta kontribusi teoretis dan praktis bagi pengembangan keilmuan dan praktik pendidikan. Ruang lingkup Jurnal Prakata meliputi, tetapi tidak terbatas pada: 1. Linguistik Bahasa Indonesia (fonologi, morfologi, sintaksis, semantik, pragmatik, dan analisis wacana). 2. Sosiolinguistik, psikolinguistik, dan pragmatik dalam konteks Bahasa Indonesia. 3. Kajian sastra Indonesia (klasik, modern, kontemporer, kritik sastra, dan kajian interdisipliner sastra). 4. Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dan Sastra Indonesia pada jenjang pendidikan dasar, menengah, dan tinggi. 5. Model, metode, strategi, dan inovasi pembelajaran Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia. 6. Pengembangan dan evaluasi bahan ajar, media, dan perangkat pembelajaran. 7. Literasi bahasa dan sastra, termasuk literasi membaca, menulis, dan literasi digital. 8. Kurikulum, asesmen, dan kebijakan pendidikan terkait Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia. 9. Analisis wacana kritis, kajian bahasa berbasis budaya, serta kearifan lokal. 10. Pemanfaatan teknologi dan pembelajaran berbasis digital dalam pembelajaran Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia. Jurnal Prakata menerima artikel hasil penelitian empiris, artikel konseptual, dan kajian pustaka yang ditulis dalam Bahasa Indonesia sesuai dengan kaidah ilmiah, etika publikasi, dan standar sitasi yang berlaku. Artikel yang dikirimkan ke Jurnal Prakata bukanlah jurnal yang telah terbit atau sedang diajukan untuk terbit pada jurnal lain.

It can be said that students' reading interest in Banten is still very low, this can be seen from the public literacy index which is only 3.1%. That is, when there are 100 adults there are only 3.1 people who have the habit of reading more than 4 hours/day. The purpose of this study was to describe the relationship between students' reading interest and the quality of an area, both in the fields of science and technology, as well as the civilization of the area. The research method is qualitative by conducting in-depth interviews and participatory observations. The results showed that the reading interest of students at several universities in Banten was still low, this was due to many internal and external factors. Internal factors are more due to interest, curiosity, and desire to move forward. External factors are more influenced by friends, parental guidance, environment and others

This study aims to improve students' listening skills using audio media, namely the use of audio media, such as playing learning materials through (speakers handphone) for students in grades V and VI at the elementary school level. This research is classroom action research which is carried out in three cycles. In the learning process there are two stages, namely, the planning stage and the implementation stage. The subjects in the study were students in grades V and VI of Elementary School who carried out Tutoring (bimbel) at the IC Privat Les (Iqro Corner) on Jl. KH. Abdul Latief No.47 Pecung Well, Serang City Banten, 42118. The results showed an increase in the average score of the final listening test after getting treatment on the effectiveness of using audio media from each cycle

This study aims to (1) describe the type of phonological interference of Betawi dialect Indonesian in speech activities for class IX students of SMP Al Hidayah Tangerang Regency, (2) describe the type of morphological interference of Indonesian Betawi dialect in speech activities for class IX students of SMP Al Hidayah Tangerang Regency, and (3) describe the fators that cause the occurrence of Indonesian Betawi dialect interference in the speech activities of class IX students of SMP Al Hidayah, Tangerang Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Research data collection was carried out using library research techniques, documentation techniques, listening techniques, and note-taking techniques. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis method. The results showed that the type of Indonesian Betawi dialect interference in the speech activities of class IX students of SMP Al Hidayah Tangerang Regency was found as many as 65 pieces of data. The data can be detailed as follows: (1) 28 pieces of phono-logical type interference data; (2) 22 morphological interference data. Factors causing the interference of Indonesian Betawi dialect in speech activities include: a) habitual factors in the pronunciation of Betawi language, (b) lack of mastery of the structure of Indonesian language rules, (c) habits of communicating using the structure of Betawi language rules, (d) community philosophy that is still have pride in the Betawi language and culture which is quite interesting

The purpose of this study was to describe (1) the prefix form used by mentally retarded students in class XI SKhN 1 Serang (2) the prefix function used by mentally retarded students in class XI SKhN 1 Serang (3) the meaning of the prefix used by mentally retarded students in class XI SKhN 1 Serang. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. This study involved two levels of mental retardation, namely moderate and mild. The data collection techniques used in this research are literature study, documentation, and assignments. Based on the analysis that has been carried out, the use of prefix forms in words in sentences using image media stimuli, mentally retarded students in class XI SKhN 1 Serang, for students with moderate mental retardation with IQ = 36-52, tend to change the form, function and meaning of prefixes. me with the prefix be-., while people with mild mental retardation with an IQ level of = 52-67, are able to use the form, function, and meaning of the prefix in accordance with existing rules. It is necessary to provide special teaching materials for prefix material for mentally retarded students in class XI SKhN 1 Serang

The rapid advancement of technology has significantly impacted the diversity of learning methods. One increasingly adopted method is e-learning, which allows students to access learning materials anytime and anywhere. This method provides various learning media that serve as facilitators in online learning. The use of e-learning has both positive and negative implications, such as enhancing students' learning independence while also potentially fostering dependence on the internet. This study aims to identify the influence of e-learning learning methods on students' learning independence. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach using a survey method with questionnaires. The study involved 52 students enrolled in the Indonesian Language course using the e-learning learning method. The results indicate that the use of e-learning in the Indonesian Language course significantly affects students' understanding of e-learning utilization and application, with a percentage of 50%. Furthermore, the findings suggest that e-learning contributes to students' learning independence, as it encourages them to actively seek learning resources on their own

This research aims to identify educational values characters in Indonesian literary novels and analyzing their relevance towards character learning in schools. This research uses the method qualitative descriptive based on literature review, with a focus on six novels: Perahu Paper, Hayya, Dahlan Shoes, 9 Suns, Amelia, and Mata and Sea Man. The analysis results show that these novels contain various values characters such as honesty, hard work, responsibility, love of the country, caring environment, and democracy. These values are aligned with the guidelines Ministry of National Education character education and relevant to be integrated in school curriculum. However, implementation in schools still faces challenges, especially in terms of teacher training and development of literature-based teaching materials. Therefore, a more integrative curriculum strategy is needed increasing teacher capacity to utilize novels as media character education learning. The aim of this research is to analyze the symbolic meanings contained in each stage of the Sundanese traditional wedding in Cogreg, Bogor, West Java. This research focuses on the description of the wedding procession from start to finish and reveals the symbolic meanings implied in these traditions or customs. The analysis of this research is in the form of qualitative descriptive. Data collection techniques include interviews and observations. The selected resource person is MA, a trusted individual who often performs traditional Sundanese wedding customs. Through a qualitative descriptive approach, this research explores various processions, such as Mapag Penganten, Ngebageakeun, and seeking blessings, and explains how each step reflects cultural values that bind individuals to their community. The findings reveal that these processions function not only as sacred rituals but also as embodiments of anthropolinguistic values that emphasize the importance of family and community presence in household life. These findings indicate that understanding symbolism in Sundanese weddings is a crucial step to preserving cultural heritage and educating future generations about the importance of cultural perspectives in a broader context

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Indonesian language learning strategies at SMK Madinatul Hadid Cilegon, focusing on communicative approaches, the use of technological media, and project-based learning. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of these learning strategies has a positive impact on students' speaking and writing skills, although there are challenges such as differences in students' confidence levels, limited technological facilities, and limited time to complete projects. Technology and project-based learning increase student participation but require adjustments in time and facility management. The conclusion of this study is the importance of improving supporting facilities, more structured time, and special attention to students who have difficulty participating actively. This research provides prospects for further development regarding the application of technology in learning and the importance of external support in the success of Indonesian language learning

Communication in preaching is considered to have vital value, as one of its functions is to exercise control. This control involves conveying messages and values of virtue as well as prohibitions against doing something bad. Preaching communication includes the roles and functions of communication between all parties, namely the preacher and the audience, from planning, implementation, to evaluation. In this case, the research focuses on the preaching communication of the religious film Amanah Wali 6 in the context of Roland Barthes' semiotics. This research aims to delve deeper into the preaching communication of the characters in the religious film Amanah Wali 6 using Roland Barthes' semiotics, including connotation, denotation, and myth. A methodological approach is used in the form of a descriptive qualitative approach, and a theoretical approach in the form of a semiotic approach. Given the type of research object in the form of a film, the listening method is used with the free listening technique (SLBC) and the note-taking technique (phonemic transcription). The results obtained are that the film Amanah Wali 6 is full of advice towards goodness and virtue, which is the goal of preaching
