Abstract

Educational institutions are currently competing in the formation of a good brand image in order to attract the interest of the public / new students, with this being able to increase the competitiveness of education. So educational institutions must be able to develop their own brand by coming up with new innovations to find ideas in improving the brand so that it can be competitive between institutions, as well as attracting interest from the community and forming a brand name that sticks in the minds of the community. This study used qualitative methods with descriptive research types, data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the research on the concept of branding from SMAN 1 Badegan are that the school has efforts to advance the institution and meet community needs by forming branding that is acceptable to the community. (1) Form a branding image strategy with consistency and collaboration related to the brand that is owned, namely essay schools, double track, tahfidz, and child-friendly schools (2) Implementation of branding image strategies through positioning by positioning the school brand so that it can be known by the public, has brand values by introducing the brand through social media, and having the right concept by increasing the school's brand through student achievement by means of intensive coaching. (3) the implications of its application are by increasing the interest of new students, creating quality graduates, and providing an identity for schools.

Abstract

SMA Negeri 3 Ponorogo is a public school in Ponorogo Regency that has good library management. This can be seen from the library service programs that are well implemented. These programs include service-based programs and habituation-based programs. Both programs are able to encourage the increase of students' interest in reading at SMA Negeri 3 Ponorogo. This study aims to (1) find out the planning of library services in increasing student interest in reading at SMA Negeri 3 Ponorogo, (2) find out the implementation of library services in increasing student interest in reading at SMA Negeri 3 Ponorogo, (3) find out the evaluation of library services in increasing student interest in reading at SMA Negeri 3 Ponorogo. The research used a qualitative approach with a case study research type. The data analysis technique used is the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model which includes data collection, data condensation, data presentation and decision making. The results of the study explain that (1) Planning library services in increasing student interest in reading in the library of SMA Negeri 3 Ponorogo is by planning service-based and habituation-based programs supported by collection procurement, infrastructure, and budget, (2) Implementation of library services in increasing student interest in reading in the library of SMA Negeri 3 Ponorogo is by implementing a) service-based programs implemented in circulation services with open types of services this aims to bind student attractiveness, b) habituation-based programs are implemented with the School Literacy Movement 15 Minutes before the subject starts, (3) Evaluation of library services in increasing student interest in reading at the SMA Negeri 3 Ponorogo library, namely by conducting meetings, monitoring, and follow-up in order to improve library services in increasing student interest in reading at the SMA Negeri 3 Ponorogo library.

Abstract

The multimedia skills program is one of the efforts to improve the quality of education by providing space for students to hone and develop their interests and talents. Currently, many high school and madrasah aliyah graduates do not have skills that can help in their lives. This study aims to determine the planning, implementation and evaluation of multimedia programs implemented in schools. This research uses qualitative research methods with the type of case study. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation with data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results showed that first, the planning of the multimedia skills program begins with determining the components of program implementation, namely by formulating program objectives, compiling curriculum, selecting teacher educators, selecting students, procuring learning support infrastructure, and financing. Second, the implementation of the multimedia skills program refers to the Decree of the Director General of Islamic Education in 2020. The multimedia skills program is implemented in the learning process using theoretical learning methods and practical learning methods. Third, the evaluation of the implementation of the multimedia skills program is carried out with two kinds of evaluation, namely program evaluation carried out by holding a joint meeting with madrasah stakeholders once a semester and learning evaluation carried out by teacher educators carried out at the middle and end of the semester.

Abstract

The marketing mix strategy is a tool for marketers consisting of various marketing elements that are implemented to achieve the goals of educational institutions. One of the goals to be achieved is to improve the image of the institution. The image of an educational institution is a picture that educational institutions have and affects the views of the community. This study aims to describe and analyze (1) the application of the marketing mix strategy in educational institutions (2) Supporting factors and inhibiting factors of the marketing mix strategy in educational institutions (3) The results of the application of the marketing mix strategy in educational institutions This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out with four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Checking the validity of the data using the extension of participation, persistence of observation and data triangulation. The results showed that: (1) the implementation of marketing strategies is carried out through products, prices, places, promotions, human resources, physical evidence and processes (2) supporting factors consist of qualified educators, strategic locations, excellent programs, affordable financing and community trust. While the inhibiting factor is the number of competitors from other institutions so that competition occurs (3) the results of implementing the marketing mix strategy can improve the image of the institution and influence and encourage people's decisions to send their children to an educational institution.

Abstract

Principals have an important role in building students' patriotism through nationalist culture. In carrying out his role, the principal must also have strategies to achieve his program. This study aims to determine and explain 1) the form of the principal's strategy in building students' patriotism character through the nationalist culture program (2) the implementation of strategies in building students' patriotism character through the nationalist culture program 3) the implications of strategies in building students' patriotism character through the nationalist culture program. this research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques using Millies, Huberman and Saldana with data collection, data condensation, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are 1) the principal's strategy in building the character of love for the country through the nationalist culture program, namely role modeling, habituation, stories, environmental reinforcement, rewards and punishments. (2) Implementation of strategies in building the character of love for the country through nationalist culture through subjects, self-development, and school culture. (3) The implications of the strategy in building the character of loving the country through the nationalist culture program can be seen from the output and outcome. Judging from the output, students make many achievements both academic and non-academic, students have good attitudes and characters that will be useful when they are in the world of work later. For the school, the result is that the school gets additional input. When viewed from the outcome, all residents of SMKN 1 Ponorogo have a sense of responsibility, have a sense of empathy, and have a high awareness to obey the rules and norms that exist in society.

Abstract

The background of this research is the accumulation of waste at MTs Negeri 3 Ponorogo and wanting to change the character of students who care about the environment. The character of caring for the environment can be formed in various ways, one of which is through the implementation of the Adiwiyata program. This program will impact generations of people who respect their environment more. MTs Negeri 3 Ponorogo has implemented and won a provincial level award as an Adiwiyata madrasah. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of the Adiwiyata program management in shaping the character of caring for the environment for students at MTs Negeri 3 Ponorogo starting from planning, implementing, and evaluating. This research is field research with a qualitative approach. The data source was obtained from informants directly related to the thesis discussion—data collection techniques by conducting interviews, observation, and documentation. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that: (1) The planning of the Adiwiyata program in shaping the character of caring for the environment for MTs Negeri 3 Ponorogo students is by planning environmentally sound activities, such as clean Friday activities, waste management, class pickets, inter-class competitions. (2) The implementation of the Adiwiyata program in shaping the character of caring for the environment for students of MTs Negeri 3 Ponorogo, namely through the three principles and components of the Adiwiyata program. (3) Evaluation of the Adiwiyata program in shaping the character of caring for the environment for MTs Negeri 3 Ponorogo students, namely from the attitudes and behavior of students in their daily activities, an evaluation is carried out with the working group team for once a month and for the Adiwiyata team it is carried out once a year.

Abstract

Vocational High Schools are educational institutions that produce graduates who are ready to work. But in reality, many Vocational High School graduates are not ready to work because they do not have the competencies needed by the market. This study aims to examine and analyze the management of partnership-based student competency development in the software engineering department of Vocational High School through program planning, program implementation and program evaluation. This research was conducted through a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study research type. Data collection used interviews, observation, and documentation with data analysis techniques using data condensation, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Checking the validity of the data using triangulation (source, technique, time). The results of the study stated that 1) Planning carried out by the Vocational High School Software Engineering department in improving student competencies begins with competency meetings, MoUs, Curriculum Synchronization, and class learning. Student competency development activities in the form of field work practices, industry visits, and guest teachers 2) implementation of student competency development activities in field work practice activities students carry out internships for 6 months with direction, monitoring, socialization, and project creation. The implementation of guest teachers is class learning with teachers from the industry. The implementation of industrial visits has three activities, namely, industrial exploration, workshops, and study tours. 3) evaluation of field work practice activities with monitoring, project demonstrations, activity report books, student report books, and student assessments. Evaluation of guest teacher activities and industrial visits with activity report books and meetings.

Abstract

Every educational institution basically requires an information system to maximize the implementation of the information cycle at the institution. In addition, to control quality and create relationships with other parties to optimize the quality of these educational institutions, This research was conducted to review more deeply the Education Management Information System (SIMDIK) in Muhammadiyah Ponorogo Elementary School (SD) with a research focus to describe the application of SIMDIK in improving the quality of management at SD Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. The type of research used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation The data analysis technique used Miles and Huberman's interactive model. The results of this study indicate that the application of SIMDIK in improving the quality of SD Muhammadiyah Ponorogo management includes: 1) institutional information systems, personnel, infrastructure, student affairs, finance, and academics have been running optimally; 2) the e-learning system and library information system run optimally by taking into account the intended use; 3) SIMDIK, which has been running optimally, can improve the quality of management at Muhammadiyah Ponorogo Elementary School and provide benefits for internal and external parties.

Abstract

Good human resources are the main key to building a nation. The task of educational institutions is to obtain good or superior resources. SMK is education at the secondary level that prioritizes the develipment of students’ abilities to do certain jobs. Vocational higt school is one of the institutions that is requiried to produce educated skilled workers or graduates as expected by the business world and the industrial world. Ideally, SMK graduates can beabsorbed directly by the world of work, the number of SMKs which increases every year has not been able to reduce the unemployment rate as expected. This research is to analyze (1) the process of implementing the spesial job exchange program in the career planning of class XII studens (2) the service from of the spesial job exchange program in the career planning of class XII studens (3) evaluation of the service of the spesial job exchange program in the career planning of class XII studens.

Abstract

Education is the norm and provision for life in society, nation and state. In the life of a state, the quality of a nation will be determined by the quality of its human resources. Indirectly, education has positive implications for the survival of a nation and the state of a country in the future cannot escape the influence of the implementation of education. However, in reality, the quality of education in Indonesia is currently very concerning. This is due to the existence of several problems in the Indonesian education system that result in the low quality of education in Indonesia. From the various problems in the quality and quality of Indonesian education above, the implementation of student management as an effort to improve the quality of education and the quality of graduates is one of the solutions that can be done. The implementation of student management is expected to improve the quality and quality of education, so that later educational institutions can produce quality students.
