Abstract

This research is motivated by several gaps or differences in research results with expert opinions, also supported by some research problem data, namely based on ASN mutation data showing that there are still many ASN whose work placements are not in accordance with their field competencies. Based on the results of the identification of employee performance analysis in 2020, it shows that the realization of ASN work in Bondowoso Regency has not been maximized. The purpose of this study was to determine directly or indirectly the effect of employee competence and job placement on employee performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable for all structural employees of the Bondowoso Regency Government. The population of this study was 3,051 employees, while the number of samples was 354 using purposive sampling technique. The analysis technique used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) using WarpPLS 5.0. The results of data analysis show that employee competence and job placement have a significant effect on job satisfaction, (2) employee competence and job placement and job satisfaction have a significant effect on employee performance, (2) employee competence and work placement have a significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction as intervention variables.

Abstract

This study aims to determine what factors influence consumer buying interest in minimarkets 212 Mart in Pagedangan and Indomaret in Pagedangan. The method used in this research is a quantitative method using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) model. The criteria used in this study are location, service, price, facilities and products. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling technique which is carried out by distributing questionnaires to all consumers who have bought at 212 Mart in Pagedangan and Indomaret in Pagedangan as many as 96 respondents. The results showed that the results of the assessment of the level of importance of the criteria in consumer buying interest at the 212 Mart Pagedangan and Indomaret in Pagedangan minimarkets produced the following priority/weight scales: Product priority I (0.2897), priority II price (0.2896), Priority III location (0.1681) , Priority IV services (0.1320) and Priority V facilities (0.1206). from the results of the assessment of the level of alternative importance in consumer buying interest at the minimarkets 212 Mart in Pagedangan and Indomaret in Pagedangan produces the following priority / weight scales: Indomaret I Priority (0.6373) and 212 Mart (0.3627).

Abstract

The concept of student satisfaction is too broad covering facilities, lecturers, and others. This paper focuses only on managing the lecturer’s performance based on student satisfaction towards what normally a lecturer has done in teaching. The research is aimed at evaluating the lecturer performance in teaching English 2 based on the students’ observation during the online course as the effect of COVID Thecollecteddata from the questionnaire provided for the students is analyzed by using Importance-Performance Grid. The results reveal that the weakness and strength areas of the lecturer can be mapped in four classifications: first, what the lecturer should improve because the lecturer’s performance perceived by the students is in the low level and the students’ expectation is in the high level; second, what the lecturer should maintain or keep going because the lecturer’s performance and the students’ expectation at the same time are in the high level; third, what the lecturer should maintain but think about the weighting of it because the lecturer’s performance is in the low level and the students’ expectation is also in the low level; fourth, what the lecturer should reduce the emphasis if possible because the lecturer’s performance is in the high level and the students’ expectation is in the low level. This research is one of the first attempts to explore what the lecturer can do to improve the performance accordingly in measurable and manageable way by the lecturer himself/herself.

Abstract

The issue of relationship between inflation and unemployment is one of the topics which have been discussed for long time. Philips Theory says that inflation rate has a relationship to unemployment rate, it becomes very interesting to observe the data of Indonesian Phenomena refer to the above theory therefore, this objective of this paper is to narrow the gap in literature by examining the long-run relationship between the change of labor force level, LF (t), inflation, ? (t), unemployment, UE (t), in Indonesia. It also to investigate the individual relationship between the change rate of LF and inflation, and change rate of LF and unemployment. Therefore, we use two different methods to test the cointegration. First is the Engle Granger approach based on the unit root test in the residuals of linear regression, which also includes a number of specification tests, Second method is the Johansen cointegration rank test based on a VAR representation, which is also proved to be an adequate one via a set of appropriate tests. This study used vector time series analysis to analyze the linear lag relationship between inflation, unemployment rate and the change in labor force participation. Under the empirical framework, the study adopted Vector Auto Regression (VAR) model. Results of this research, It is obtained from the Pearson correlation coefficient (correlation Pearson coefficient =0.059, for a significance level at 12% higher than the 5% the chosen one), that between the two variables there is a direct negative relationship, but of a very low and statistically insignificant medium intensity. This fact tell us to state that in the long run (23 years) between inflation and unemployment in Indonesia there is no significant relation. On the other hand, we noticed that there is also direct significant relationship between inflation and labor change. The Pearson coefficient = 0.080 for a significant level; at 13.5% greater than 5% from the chosen one, Which means that only 9.5% of the change in labor force was influenced by inflation. This denotes a very low and statistically insignificant medium intensity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of burden and stress on the work performance ofemployees of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia with motivationas a moderation variable. One of the main duties of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of theRepublic of Indonesia is to provide services to the community related to education in thelevel of kindergarten to university in Indonesia. Given the large work area of employees andthe heavy workload in the ministry, it is not uncommon for employees to lose motivation atwork, that makes the achievement is low. 97 employees were involved in this study. Usingthe SEM-PLS method, the results of this study show that the indicator reliability, Cronbachalpha, composite reliability and AVE values are valid. The discriminant validity value isgreater than the factor charge value. Workload negatively influences work performanceeither directly or indirectly, moderated by motivation. Work stress positively influenceswork performance directly or indirectly, moderated by motivation. Motivation has a positiveinfluence on work performance.
