Abstract

The Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Manpower has a crucial role in shaping policies and programs within the employment sector. However, challenges related to employee job satisfaction adversely affect organizational effectiveness, leading to diminished motivation, lower engagement, and a focus on mere obligation rather than intrinsic motivation among employees. These persistent issues could have long-term detrimental effects on productivity, innovation, and the quality of public services. This study explores the roles of leadership and organizational culture as independent variables, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable and employee performance as the dependent variable. The analysis reveals that both leadership style and organizational culture positively influence job satisfaction, indicating that improved leadership and a strong organizational culture enhance employee satisfaction. However, organizational culture does not directly affect employee performance when considering job satisfaction. Ultimately, the findings emphasize the mediating role of job satisfaction in the relationship between leadership style and employee performance, while highlighting that organizational culture does not share this mediating impact.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether or not there is an influence of product quality and price on customer loyalty both simultaneously and partially at Jeda Coffee & Space. The research method was carried out on 68 customer respondents with accidental sampling technique, data collection using a questionnaire with a semantic differential scale, and analyzed using SPSS version 25. Determination of the number of samples using the Lemeshow formula because the population size is not known with certainty. The results of the study indicate that product quality and price each influence customer loyalty, as well as simultaneously product quality and price have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. The results of the respondent's assessment gave a good assessment, namely dominant statements strongly agree and agree on the quality of the product and price provided by Jeda C&S. Recommendations for product quality are to continue to improve the performance aspect, namely ensuring that every customer order is always in accordance with expectations in terms of taste, appearance, and presentation. On the price side, it is proposed that Jeda Coffee & Space provide attractive promotions, and strengthen customer loyalty through programs such as membership or rewards. This recommendation is so that customers feel satisfied and tend to make repeat purchases and improve customer experience so that they do not easily move to other coffee shops that are growing in the Bekasi area.

Abstract

Digitalization in the public sector has changed the paradigm of performance management, yet the role of compensation as a driver of productivity remains a crucial debate. This study aims to analyze the influence of E-Performance, Transformational Leadership, and Job Satisfaction on Employee Performance at the Health Training Centre (Bapelkes) Cikarang, with Compensation as an intervening variable. Using a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM-PLS) method, data were collected from the entire employee population thru structured questionnaires. The results of the data analysis show that E-Performance and Compensation have a direct, positive, and significant impact on employee performance. Conversely, Transformational Leadership and Job Satisfaction were found to have no direct impact on performance. The most crucial finding indicates that Compensation acts as a full mediator in the relationship between Job Satisfaction and Employee Performance. This implies that employee satisfaction can only be converted into actual productivity if supported by a fair and transparent reward system. The IPMA analysis emphasizes that the integration of digital reporting and incentive schemes is a strategic priority to maintain the stability of institutional productivity in the long term

Abstract

The rapidly growing gig economy phenomenon in the digital era has transformed work relationships into more flexible, project-based arrangements supported by digital platforms. However, this work model also presents challenges related to labour protection, welfare, and the fulfilment of workers' rights, especially in the context of the sharia industry, which demands human resource management in accordance with the principles of maqashid sharia. This research aims to analyse the role of Agile Human Resources (Agile HR) in optimizing gig workforce management in the sharia industry and to identify opportunities for its integration with Islamic values. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach thru document analysis of various online secondary sources, including scientific publications, industry reports, and relevant company documents. The research results indicate that the application of Agile HR principles, such as work flexibility, cross-functional collaboration, adaptive decision-making, and performance-based evaluation, has begun to be adopted by several digital sharia companies to enhance the effectiveness of gig workforce management. Nevertheless, the implementation is still oriented toward operational efficiency and has not yet systematically integrated the principles of justice, protection of workers' rights, and welfare, which are the main objectives of maqashid sharia. This research emphasizes that Agile HR has the potential to become a strategic approach capable of bridging the need for business flexibility with the fulfilment of sharia values in gig workforce management. The research findings also point to the importance of developing an Agile HR framework based on maqashid sharia to create an adaptive, sustainable, and welfare-oriented human resource management system.
