Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of celebrity endorsements and brand awareness on purchasing decisions for Skintific skincare products at Underprice Skincare stores, partially and simultaneously. The research design used is an associative approach. The population of the population who purchased skintific products at Underprice Skincare was 2,321 consumers (Data on purchases at Underprice Skincare stores in 2022 using a sampling technique based on criteria using the Slovin method. Based on these criteria, the research sample was 96 respondents. The data analysis method used analysis multiple linear regression with SPSS.25 Based on the results of the t test that has been carried out, it can be concluded that Celebrity Endorsement has a positive and significant effect on Purchasing Decisions. It can be concluded that Brand Awareness has a positive and significant effect on Purchasing Decisions Endorsement and Brand Awareness have a positive and significant effect simultaneously on purchasing decisions

Abstract

Islamic banks are here to help the economic welfare of the Muslim community, but there are still many Muslims who do not know about Islamic banks and many of them are still customers of conventional banks. This study aims to determine the effect of socialization, knowledge and public perception of Islamic banks on the interest in saving in Islamic banks in Southeast Aceh. This research is a qualitative research type. The data sources in this study are primary and secondary data. Data collection methods were carried out using questionnaires and in-depth interviews. The results of the study showed that socialization has a significant influence on public perception and knowledge about Islamic Banks. The better the socialization carried out, the better the public perception and knowledge about Islamic Banks

Abstract

The aimed of this study was to examine the various types of code-switching used by tour guides during their interactions with visitors on Orangutan tours in Bukit Lawang. The focused of the study was on how code-switching functions as an essential communication tool in facilitating understanding and connection between the guides and their multilingual audiences. Specifically, the study sought to identify instances of code-switching in the tour guides' spoken interactions, categorized these occurrences based on established linguistic classifications, and determine which type of code-switching appears most frequently.This research was conducted by utilized qualitative method with descriptive approach. The data for this study were gathered through conversations that took place between tour guides and tourists during Orangutan Tours in Bukit Lawang. These interactions were observed and recorded using audio equipment to capture authentic language use in real-time settings. The findings of this study revealed the presence of three distinct types of code-switching used by the tour guide during interactions with tourists. These types were: inter-sentential switching, intra-sentential switching, and tag switching. In total, the study identified 12 instances of code-switching, each categorized under one of the three types. Specifically, there were 2 instances of tag switching, 5 instances of inter-sentential switching, and 5 instances of intra-sentential switching.

Abstract

Ineffective use of social media will make it difficult for Rumah Ide Coffee to compete in reaching its target market and may be abandoned by consumers. This study aims to determine the extent to which social media use brings benefits in marketing communications. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The collected data will be presented through descriptive qualitative analysis to reveal aspects related to social media use at Rumah Ide Coffee in Medan City. The results of this study show that the function and role of social media as a mediator in marketing communications have been carried out by implementing an information strategy by looking at important points, namely paying attention to message patterns, delivery media, and managing message delivery. This research is expected to contribute to business owners who have their own admins as social media managers to be more effective in using their platforms by being more active in posting more interesting photos or videos on various existing social media

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology, particularly Microsoft Access, presents a significant opportunity for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to enhance their financial and income data management. Despite these advancements, a notable number of MSMEs, including "Roti Bakar Selera," continue to rely on manual data management processes. "Roti Bakar Selera" is an MSME specializing in a variety of toast products, and like many others, it grapples with the inefficiencies and potential for errors inherent in manual record-keeping. This traditional approach to managing crucial financial information often leads to inaccuracies, hinders operational efficiency, and complicates informed decision-making. This research aims to address these challenges by developing an effective and efficient database management system specifically tailored for "Roti Bakar Selera" using Microsoft Access. The core objective is to design a user-friendly system that streamlines the recording, tracking, and analysis of financial and income data. By implementing this Microsoft Access-based solution, the research anticipates several key benefits. It is expected to significantly reduce data management errors, ensuring greater accuracy in financial reporting. Furthermore, the system will facilitate the seamless recording of financial transactions and income, making the process less cumbersome and time-consuming. Ultimately, the successful application of this system is projected to increase operational efficiency for "Roti Bakar Selera" and support better, data-driven decision-making in the overall management of their business. This study underscores the critical role of accessible technology in empowering MSMEs to achieve greater financial stability and sustainable growth.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of board of commissioner independence and board of directors independence on capital structure. This study is a causal research. The data used in this study are secondary data. This research was conducted on Property & Real Estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2023. The population in this study were all property & real estate companies listed on the IDX in 2019 to 2023. The number of samples selected according to the criteria set using purposive sampling techniques consisted of 12 companies covering the period 2019-2023, with a total observation of 60 companies. The data analysis method used in this study is the panel data regression analysis method and the moderating test which in this study uses the help of SPSS software. The results of this study indicate that board of commissioner independence and board of directors independence have a positive effect on company structure partially and simultaneously

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare the financial performance of PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk and PT Mayora Indah Tbk during the 2019-2023 period using profitability, liquidity, and activity ratios. The food and beverage industry was selected due to its significant contribution to the national economy and the increasingly intense competition in the era of globalization. The research employs a descriptive quantitative method using secondary data in the form of annual financial statements of both companies, obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results show that PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk generally demonstrated more stable financial performance and more aggressive growth in assets, sales, and profits. Meanwhile, PT Mayor Tbk performed superiorly in terms of Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE). Indofood is also more efficient in utilizing assets and debt financing, while Mayora shows significant improvements in profit and operational efficiency at the end of the research period. This study contributes by comprehensively combining three key ratios, making it a valuable reference for company management and academics in decision-making and the development of financial performance analysis

Abstract

BRI Link Agent is one of BRI's innovative steps to improve the quality of its banking services. In this program, BRI collaborates with its own customers to act as agents who carry out banking transactions online. This study investigates BRI Link, BRI Link's advantages, requirements to become a BRI Link Agent, BRI Link agent support applications, BRI Link violation sanctions, BRI Link rights and obligations, BRI Link UNIQ transfer fee determination in Sentani. In expanding access to financial services for the community, especially in densely populated areas by BRI Link Agents. Through a qualitative approach involving in-depth interviews and secondary data analysis, this study describes various important aspects related to BRI Link agents, including the determination of BRI Link transaction fees and risk management at BRI Link Agents. However, there are transaction problems at BRI Link Agents such as replacement of nominal errors due to fraud cases on third parties, human error, network disruptions, fraud committed by consumers are still obstacles that need to be overcome. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that BRI Link UNIQ agents in Sentani carry out risk management to minimize the risk losses that have occurred due to problems that have occurred at BRI Link agents and anticipate these problems by continuing to support and improve the BRI Link UNIQ agent ecosystem in Hinekombe Subdistrict, Sentani.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze PGRI Semarang University students' preferences in using artificial intelligence (AI) to complete academic tasks. The background of this research focuses on the rapid development of technology, especially AI, which has become an important tool in the teaching and learning process. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews and questionnaires to students who are active users of AI. The results show that students feel significant benefits from using AI, such as increased efficiency in completing tasks and better understanding of the material. However, there are also challenges such as dependence on technology, potential plagiarism, and decreased creativity. This study concludes that although AI provides many advantages in education, it is important for students to use this technology wisely and still develop critical thinking skills and maintain academic integrity. Support from educational institutions is also needed to facilitate a better understanding of the use of AI in academic contexts.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of Islamic market orientation, product innovation, and social capital on the marketing performance of MSMEs in Banda Aceh city. The sample used was 99 respondents obtained through the probability sampling technique. The analysis used is multiple linear regression. The results show that, partially, the variables of Islamic market orientation (X1) the t-statistic is 4.213 with a significance level of 0.009, product innovation (X2​) the t-statistic is 6.557 with a significance level of 0.000, which is less than 0.05, and social capital (X3​) the t-statistic is 9.238 with a significance level of 0.000, which is less than 0.05 have a significant positive effect on the marketing performance of MSMEs in Banda Aceh city. Simultaneously, the variables of Islamic market orientation, product innovation, and social capital together influence the marketing performance of MSMEs. This means that the three variables explain 85.2% of the variation in marketing performance. Therefore,to improve marketing performance, MSMEs and related parties should develop more effective strategies by utilizing Islamic market orientation and social capital to carry out product innovation
