Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is influence between advertising and personal selling to volume of spare parts sales at PT. Calispo Multi UtamaMedan. The population in this study is the buyers who make repeat purchases. Where 7.5% of the buyers population who make repeat purchases as sample for this study is 74 people. Thedata collected by using a questionnaire distributed to the buyer where the question regarding the indicators of advertising, personal selling and sales volume of spare parts at PT. Calispo Multi Utama Medan. The analytical method used is descriptive and statistical analysis method that uses linear multiple regression analysis, significant Tests And Testing simultaneous partial significant. The execution method of data analysis using SPSS 19.0 for Windows . The data used is primary and secondary data . This research using 74 respondents in the sample Participants were drawn by accidental sampling . Results based on multiple linear regression analysis showed that the variables advertising and significant positive effect Against sales volume of spare parts at PT. Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the impact of service quality dimension viewed from tangible,  reliability,  responsiveness,  assurance,  and  empathy  dimension  towards  customer satisfaction at PT. Kisel (Official Branch of PT. Telkomsel) Medan.In this research the population’s 103  respondent  with  sample’s  used  is  82  respondent.  The  sample  selection  method  used  is purposive sampling, based on Telkomsel customer that visit PT Kisel to complaint their problem more  than  1  time.  Data  analyzing  method  that  is  used  is  multiple  linear  regression  using  SPSS version 19.0 program.The result of this research is  tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy simultaneously have positive and significant influencetoward customer satisfaction. Based on  test  only  reliability  variable  and  assurance  have  significant  influence  towards  customer satisfaction. based on coefficient determination test (  R2) 86,3% of customer satisfaction can be explained by tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy, while the rest 13,7% is explained by other variables not observed in this research.Keywords :Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, Empathy, Customer satisfaction

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Cash Ratio, Total Asset Turn Over, Debt to Equity Ratio on Net Profit Margin in Porcelain, Ceramic and Glass Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This type of research is associative. The data used are secondary data and the method used is multiple linear regression analysis of panel data with the help of Eviews9 and Eviews10 programs. The population in this study were 8 companies of porcelain, ceramic and glass companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2019 period. The sample in this study amounted to 4 companies. Partially, the Cash Ratio has a significant effect on the Net Profit Margin of Porcelain, Ceramic and Glass Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Partially Total Asset Turn Over does not have a positive and significant effect on the Net Profit Margin of Porcelain, Ceramic and Glass Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Partially the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) has a significant negative effect on Net Profit Margin (NPM). Simultaneously CR, TATO and DER have a positive and significant effect on NPM. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.808818, so it can be concluded that 80.88% of NPM is influenced by CR, TATO and DER and the remaining 19.12% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the development of human resources partially on the performance of employees at the Office of Drug and Food Supervisor of Medan City. For the influence of the development of human resources and human relations simultaneously on the performance of employees at the Office of Drug and Food Supervisor of Medan City. The population in this study were 115 employees of the Center for Drug and Food Control of Medan City, using a sample of 89 permanent employees. To obtain data in the preparation of this thesis, the author uses the instrument; documentation study and interview (interview), and questionnaire (questionnaire). In analyzing the data using multiple linear regression, t test, F test and determination test. Based on the results of the partial test (t test) it can be concluded that the development of human resources has a significant influence on employee performance. Human relations has a significant influence on employee performance. Based on the results of the F test, it can be concluded that the variables of human resource development and human relations together have a significant effect on employee performance. The R-Square value obtained is 0.981 indicating that around 98.1% of the Y variable (employee performance) can be explained by human resource development variables (X1) and human relations variables (X2). The remaining 1.9% is influenced by other variables.Keywords: Human Resource Development, Human Relations and Performance

Abstract

Distribution basically is the activity of delivering products from the hands of producers to the hands of consumers or customers in good condition, on time and in accordance with the wishes of the buyer. The distribution process can be done either directly or through a chain of distributors or intermediaries. In distribution activities, there must be distribution costs and distribution channels. Distribution costs and distribution channels must be managed properly in order to have a positive impact on sales. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of distribution costs and distribution channels on sales of PT. Pasha Jaya Medan. The population in this study amounted to 9 companies that bought PT. Pasha Jaya Medan. Each of these companies, taken 5 respondents so that the total sample amounted to 45 respondents. Samples were taken using a saturated sampling technique. (significant effect on the sales of PT. Pasha Jaya Medan, Distribution Channel (  no significant effect on the sales of PT. Pasha Jaya Medan, and Distribution Costs and Distribution Fees simultaneously affect the sales of PT. Pasha Jaya Medan.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and prove "The Effect of Teamwork and Competence on the Performance of Nurses at Permata Bunda Medan Hospital" This type of research is associative which is a question of the relationship between two variables. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear analysis with hypothesis testing using t test, f test and coefficient of determination. the results of the discussion and conclusions indicate that teamwork and competence partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the nurse's performance at Permata Bunda Medan Hospital.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Quick Ratio, Total Asset Turnover and Receivable Turnover on Return On Assets in Food & Beverages companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The research applied is an associative type with the aim of knowing the effect of one variable on another. The data used is secondary data with multiple linear regression analysis method panel data using the help of the Eviews10 programs. The population applied in this study is the Food & Beverages companies listed on the Stock Exchange with a total of 26 companies and the sample in this study amounted to 8 companies. The data collection technique used is documentation. The results of the study prove that partially the QR variable has a significant effect on ROA, the TATO variable has a partial but not significant effect on ROA and the RTO variable has no effect on return on assets. Simultaneously quick ratio, total asset turnover and receivable turnover has no effect on ROA. With the coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.094563.

Abstract

According to data released by DIKTI 2015 concerning the classification and ranking of the best 200 of higher education in Indonesia is only 5 universities from North Sumatera that are included in the list, both public and private universities. The purpose in this study is to examine whether there in an effect of learning orientation, internal environment and reputation on institutional competence. As well as to test whether there is an effect of competence on the achievement of institutional performance. The unit of analysis in this research is private universities. Respondents of this research were divided into 2 stages: Stage 1 is focused on the leadership of PTS (rector, vice chancellor I, II, or III; director, deputy director I, II, or III; chairman or vice chairman I, II, or III), where one PTS will be represented by one respondent. This study will describe the perceptions of PTS leader regarding organisational learning, the influence of internal environment, reputation, competence strategies and PTS performance. The second stage of respondent was extended to student suppliers, companies using graduate students, students, lectures, administration staff to describe the perception of the institutional competitiveness.  The population in this study were all private universities in North Sumatera amounting 267 universities. This study uses 16 indicator so that the minimum sample requirement is 80. The data was collected using questionnaire, while data measured by Likert scale. Data were analysed use Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) through Analysis of Moment Structure (AMOS) version 16.0 program.
