Abstract

This study aims to understand the institutional dynamics of the Family Welfare Development (PKK) in Indonesia through the framework of institutional isomorphism theory. The rationale behind this research is the significant impact of changing government regulations and policies on the structure and operations of PKK since its inception. Based on the institutional isomorphism theory by DiMaggio and Powell (1983), this research explores how PKK experiences coercive, mimetic, and normative isomorphism in response to external pressures. Other theories used include the power and control structures by Pfeffer and Salancik (1978), organizational adaptation by Aldrich and Pfeffer (1976), legitimacy by Suchman (1995), and organizational innovation by Tushman and O'Reilly (1996). This study employs a descriptive qualitative method . Data were collected through in-depth interviews, document analysis, and participatory observation, with triangulation to ensure the validity and reliability of the findings. The results indicate that PKK experiences coercive isomorphism through adjustments to government regulations such as Presidential Decree No. 28 of 1980 and Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 18 of 2018, mimetic isomorphism by adopting successful practices from other organizations, and normative isomorphism through professionalization and standardization within PKK. The key findings reveal that PKK tends to be less independent, heavily reliant on government funding sources, and its structure is integrated into the government bureaucracy. This pattern of institutional change highlights the importance of understanding and managing these dynamics to achieve better family empowerment.

Abstract

This article reviews the significant theological impact of sharing da'wah content on social media. Even if someone is passionate about sharing religious content, an important question arises about their ability to actually do so? This research is based on the understanding of Qs. Ash Shaaf: 2-3 which emphasizes the conviction of Allah SWT for people who say something without being able to do it. This research is a text research. The data used are the text of the Qur'an, hadith and the text of the book of tafsir. The data collected was analyzed in a qualitative descriptive manner with an inductive approach, aiming to compile and conclude a pattern of understanding regarding the method of interpreting the verses of the Qur'an. The data is validated by triangulation of the source in the text. Then, the data is analyzed using content analysis where the researcher explores and analyzes words, phrases, themes, or concepts in a text or series of texts. The behavior of sharing relegated content has three behavioral tendencies, the first is sharing with the intention of understanding, doing, and spreading Islamic teachings. Second, share to convey the truth as knowledge, even though they have not been able to do it themselves. Third, for commercial purposes, only for likes, advertisements, and money without paying attention to the content of the teachings being spread. consequently, if the intention to share to understand, practice, and spread the teachings of Islam, is considered the main behavior that is mandatory for Muslims. If you want to convey the knowledge of the truth even though you have not been able to do it, like an ustadz who spreads hadith about Hajj but has never performed Hajj, this is a commendable behavior. If sharing da'wah content is only for business purposes, regardless of the content or applying Islamic teachings that are spread, it will receive criticism from Allah SWT as in QS. Al-Shaaf: 2-3.

Abstract

The digital era has shaped a boundless space for communication, which necessitates the cultivation of virtue ethics among communicators as members of the internet community (netizens). The Qur’an, as the holy scripture, provides guidance addressing human needs. This article discusses this issue, focusing on a thematic interpretation of Qur’anic verses, specifically Qs. An-Nur: 11–20. Three main aspects are examined in this study: the ethical values to be developed by communicators, the good practices that can be implemented, and the consequences faced by communicators both in this world and in the hereafter. The method employed for interpreting these verses utilizes thematic exegesis based on Qur’anic texts. The data consist of literature drawn from classical and modern exegetical works, and the analytical tool used is content analysis. The study finds that the ethical values for communicators in digital spaces include maintaining husn al-dhann (positive presumption), ensuring that any information shared is grounded in established legal principles, and applying the principle of tabayyun (verification) in cases of social issues, as well as upholding politeness in communication. Good practices derived from the exegetical study include consistently verifying information upon receiving news, refusing to engage in discussions about false information, and having the courage to state, “It is not appropriate for us to talk about this.” In practical terms, communicators in social media spaces should refrain from hastily clicking and sharing news whose veracity is uncertain or about which they lack sufficient knowledge. Finally, communicators who neglect the ethical code of conduct face consequences both in this world and the hereafter. In this world, the repercussions manifest as logical consequences of their actions, such as social fragmentation, discomfort, and even social conflict. In the hereafter, the punishment is a severe torment in hell. Therefore, it is imperative for communicators in digital spaces to uphold these moral values to attain safety and well-being both in this world and in the hereafter.
