Penulis diwajibkan untuk melakukan registrasi dan mengirimkan artikel secara mandiri melalui sistem Open Journal Systems (OJS) untuk memastikan transparansi dan akuntabilitas proses publikasi. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk dari nilai social yang terdapat dalam novel The Hunger Games dan kaitannya dengan dunia pendidikan Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif analisis yang dimana data pada penelitian ini tidak dikonversi dalam bentuk angka. Data pada penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan kajian pustaka. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan beberapa langkah seperti Membaca, Identifikasi, Klasifikasi, Menjelaskan dan pengambilan kesimpulan dari penelitian ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini di temukan ada lima bentuk nilai social dalam novel hunger games yaitu Nasihat, Tolong menolong, kerjasama, Kepercayaan, sopan santun. Hasil dari penelitian ini juga menemukan adanya hubungan antara nilai social dalam novel hunger games dengan dunia pendidikan Indonesia terutama dalam kompetensi dasar dalam kurikulum 2013.

Abstract

This study investigates the portrayal of racial discrimination in Michael Jackson’s Song Black or White and Neil Young’s Southern Man. Researcher identifies the racial issues in both songs, explaining the meaning that is implied in Michael Jackson’s Black or White and Neil Young’s Southern Man lyrics which relate to the words that possibly as indicators of racial discrimination. In this study researcher uses descriptive method in analyzing and interpreting the data collected. Data are collected from variety of sources such as books, journal, online website, and some additional information. The findings from the study show that both songs represent the disagreement and resistance of the fatal thoughts of treating people differently just because of the racial differences. Researcher concludes that in Michael Jackson’s Black Or White and Neil Young’s Southern Man the portrayal of racial discrimination clearly represented through the lyrics. The meanings of each song is lie on the historical background that influence the emergence of such songs.

Abstract

This thesis entitled “Moral Values And Figurative Languages in Coldplay’s Band Songs. Formalis theory and Affective theory are used in analyzing the moral values and figurative languages. Theory that used to image moral values is Formalist theory and theory that used to analysis figurative is Affective thoery. Then, data analyzed by using descriptive analysis method. The result of this study is there are several moral values that found in coldplays song such as regiousity, love, humbleness, peace loving. Figurative languages found are methapor, similie, personification, irony, and symbol in lyrics.

Abstract

This study investigates the psychological aspects of the main characters in Wei Hui?s novel Shanghai Baby. Researcher describes and identifies the characteristics of main characters personality related to Sigmund Freud?s theory (Id, Ego, Superego). In this study researcher uses qualitative approach withdescriptive method or commonly referred to as qualitative descriptive method. Data are collected from variety of sources such as the novel, books, journal, online website, and some additional information. The findings from the study, the writer found there are six personalities of the main characters in Sanghai Baby Novel, such as ambitious, lustful, restless, sensitive, introvert and extrovert, the writer also found the relationship between the characteristics with the theory of Sigmund Freud (Id, Ego, Superego).

Abstract

This research is aimed at getting the description of psychological conflicts analysis of the main character in Khalled Hussaini’s Novel The Kite Runner. The problem statement of this research is formulated as follows; 1) The psycho logical conflicts experienced by main character in The Kite Runner novel, 2) how psychoanalysis is applied and 3) the motives of the main character in The Kite Runner novel. In this research, the writer uses descriptive qualitative and applies psychology theory and psychoanalysis approach by Sigmund Freud and Abraham Maslow to find out the problem dealing with the psychological conflicts h appened. The sources of the data in this study are divided into two categories; the primary source and the secondary source. The primary source is the novel of The Kite Runner and the secondary source is the supporting data from textbook, journal, articles, and internet. The data are taken from the novel were the quotations showing psychological conflicts faced by the main character in the novel. Then, the secondary data were the interpreting, analyzing, commentary discussion of the primary source. The data were collected by means of reading and identifying data.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan menemukan linguistik dan sosiolinguistik aspek dari alih kode English-Arabic dalam ceramah Nouman Ali Khan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Terdapat tiga ceramah yang digunakan sebagai data dalam bentuk video dan transkrip. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi struktur umum dan ciri linguistik, mengklasifikasikan jeniskenis alih kode, dan menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang memotivasi keberadaannya. Struktur umumnya adalah opening (salam^kalam^introduction)^content^closing (open-up closing^salam). Ciri linguistiknya terdiri dari; intersentential switching (6%), intrasentential switching (78%), dan tag switching (16%). Jenis alih kode berhubungan dengan power dan solidarity. Faktor yang mempengaruhi alih kode adalah tujuan pembicara untuk; menunjukkan identitas sosial, membicarakan topik tertentu, mengutip, mengungkapkan rasa hormat dan solidaritas, dan mengharapkan penghargaan.

Abstract

Fabric woven products are one of the results of local wisdom that is characteristic and pride that is in demand by people outside Bima City, West Nusa Tenggara. There is no set price standardization, the form of financial statements that have not been detailed, limitations of human resource knowledge in the management of financial and institutional MSMEs have not been formed so that it attracts the attention of the writer to conduct simple bookkeeping training services for weaving business groups in Toloweri Environment, Nungga Sub-District, East Rasanae District, Bima City. The stages of the method of implementing simple bookkeeping training are (1) the planning stage, (2) the implementation phase and (3) the evaluation phase. The results achieved from this activity are the management of the weaving business group knowing how to prepare financial statements to calculate the profit or loss of the business. The conclusion is that in general no significant obstacles were found but a positive response was reflected in the enthusiasm of the participants involved in this simple bookkeeping training which was very helpful in the implementation of the service.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, the trade sector is currently faced with the problem of declining sales, difficulty in obtaining raw materials, impeded production and distribution, capital difficulties, lack of information technology knowledge and business network constraints. This study aims to determine the business management strategies of SMEs in Sumbawa Regency after the Covid-19 pandemic by referring to questions raised by Pedersen and Ritter (2020), namely: position, plan, perspective, project, and prepare. This type of research is descriptive, data collection methods using structured and gradual interviews. The number of respondents was 27 people. The data analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative. The results of the study explained that the post-Covid-19 business management strategy for MSME entrepreneurs can provide improvement and development of good business sustainability by implementing management strengthening in the fields of marketing, human resources, finance and operations as strategic steps to create an efficient and effective business existence. The conclusion of this study is that SMEs are required to have good knowledge management and absorptive capacity to improve business performance. Furthermore, for future research, it is expected to study more sources and references, namely by adding variables and deeper analysis to obtain more complete research results by using a mixture of quantitative and qualitative methods.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of the business cycle as a basis for post Covid-19 business opportunities. This descriptive study uses the study of documents. The data in this study were sourced from secondary data in the form of documents or archives, published notes related to the business cycle data in Indonesia during Covid-19. Data were then analyzed using reference/text analysis techniques. Based on the analysis of business cycle management or business cycle management through the process of planning and organizing business cycles in four periods that can describe the classification of business types in the business sector or post Covid-19 business opportunities. In total, of the four business cycle periods, there were 61 businesses with 33 types of businesses in the peak cycle period, as many as 8 types of business in the economic recession period, 14 types of businesses in the most severe period of depression, and 6 other types of business in the recovery period (expansion ). The business cycle has also been categorized by type of business in five business sectors, with the largest being in the service business type. In general, business cycle management is needed as a basic basis for post-Covid-19 business opportunities to become a community economic recovery strategy.

Abstract

Externalities of Covid-19 greatly impact economic problems, especially in vulnerable communities. Therefore, the government must take action through strategic policies in dealing with this problem. The research objective is to describe and find out the concept of strategic policy in dealing with economic externalities of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. The method used in this research is a descriptive method, with a focus on studies of the economic externalities of Covid-19, especially in vulnerable communities, along with policies implemented by the government. While the data collection strategy is by mapping issues, mapping policies, and finding mapping strategies. Based on the systematic and the problem, the authors formulated three strategic policies, namely allocation policy, distribution policy and stabilization policy as a systematic policy in dealing with the economic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic that occurred in Indonesia.
