Abstract

This study aims to analyze the cultural values and appeal of Disney's animated film "Raya and the Last Dragon". This study uses a qualitative approach to explore the meaning, messages, and cultural representations in the film. Research data was collected through content analysis, observation, and interviews with viewers who had watched this film. The results of the research are expected to provide insight into how animated films are able to convey cultural values and what factors make this film attractive to audiences.

Abstract

Women workers who are called daily workers in the estate usually get a bad rating because of the type of work that is hard and not optimal in carrying out their roles in the household. However, this assessment must be correct because there are many factors that cause women to work to increase family income. This study aims to determine the perceptions of the people in Greenan Village towards women daily laborers who work for plantation companies in Greenan Village. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a sample of 30 informants, 15 people from the community inside the estate and 15 people from outside the estate. The results show that the community has a positive and supportive perception of women (housewives) working in the estate as daily labourers, even though it looks like their work is rough, heavy and full of risks such as fertilizing, chemistry, etc. but it is known that they do it voluntarily, want to help the family economy, improve family welfare. Their husbands don't forbid them because their roles in the household as mothers and wives are not neglected. Even with work, their social interactions in the community are still good, so that the negative opinion that is usually received by women workers in the plantations is refuted.

Abstract

In today's modern era, everyone continues to develop according to the needs and demands of their life. This occurs both in villages and in urban environments. In realizing human development, there are not a few people who are willing to do anything, even violate existing rules and norms. Islam does not leave him alone in this matter, every Muslim can develop according to the demands of the era in which he is by balancing the spiritual side within him. The tarekat exists as a way for everyone to develop but also to purify themselves and draw closer to the Creator. This can also be seen in North Tapanuli district, an area with minority Muslim adherents that also has the potential to develop like people elsewhere in general. The tarekat is also a balancing way for Muslims in North Tapanuli Regency. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of people to follow the congregation's initiation. However, the contests that were held did not run smoothly and even tended to stagnate. This is interesting to study. How is the dynamics of tarekat in North Tapanuli Regency? and how is the spirit of practice of the tarekat students in North Tapanuli Regency? That's why this research was conducted. This research method is qualitative research by presenting data found by researchers in the field. Data collection tools in this study are observation and interviews. From the results of this study, researchers obtained data that in essence the Muslims of North Tapanuli district were very united in congregating, but due to the insufficient foundation of understanding Shari'a and coupled with the low patience of the students, the development of tarekat spirituality from the students became stagnant. The students also admit that they still communicate with the murshid and carry out the obligatory practices during the students' free time.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the principal's leadership, teacher competency and teacher work motivation on teacher performance at SMA Negeri 1 Tanah Jambo Ayee, North Aceh District. This type of research is quantitative and uses causality analysis methods. The population and sample in this study were 86 teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Tanah Jambo Ayee, North Aceh District. The data analysis technique used is path analysis with SPSS. Based on the results of the causality study, it can be concluded that the Principal's Leadership has a significant effect on Teacher Performance by 63.2%. Teacher competence has a significant effect on teacher performance by 63.1%. Teacher Work Motivation has a significant effect on Teacher Performance by 79.9%. The principal's leadership has a significant effect on teacher competency by 72.5%. Principal leadership has a significant effect on teacher work motivation of 83.8%. Teacher competence has a significant effect on teacher work motivation by 73.6%. Principal leadership has a significant effect on teacher performance through teacher competence of 65.7%. Principal leadership has a significant effect on teacher performance through teacher work motivation of 65.8%. Teacher competence has a significant effect on teacher performance through teacher work motivation of 76.2%. Principal Leadership, Teacher Competence, and Teacher Work Motivation have a significant effect on Teacher Performance simultaneously by 59.8%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of principal leadership, school policies and teacher performance on the quality of elementary schools in North Aceh District. This type of research is quantitative and uses descriptive analysis methods and causality analysis. The population and sample in this study were 30 elementary school supervisors in North Aceh District. The data analysis technique used is path analysis with SPSS. Based on the results of the descriptive research, it can be concluded that the principal's leadership, school policies, teacher performance and the quality of elementary schools in North aceh district are good. Based on the results of causality research, it can be concluded that the principal's leadership influences school quality, school policy influences school quality, teacher performance influences school quality, school principal's leadership influences school policy, school principal's leadership influences teacher performance, school policy influences performance teacher, the principal's leadership influences school quality through school policy, the principal's leadership influences school quality through teacher performance, school policy influences school quality through teacher performance. Principal leadership, school policies, and teacher performance simultaneously influence the quality of elementary schools in North Aceh District.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the steps for learning Indonesian by using a technique of grouping levels of reading ability to improve the reading ability of students in class II B MIN 1 South Barito. The grouping of students consists of 3 groups, namely: Advanced Group, Medium Group and Developing Group. The Advanced Group consists of students who are fluent in reading, the Moderate Group consists of students who are not fluent in reading and the Developing Group consists of students who are not fluent in reading. This study uses a descriptive method by describing/describing the current state of the subject or object of research based on visible facts or as they are. The form of research conducted was Classroom Action Research with the subjects of the research consisting of teachers and 28 students II B MIN 1 South Barito. The research was carried out while the author was supervising class teachers who were conducting lessons on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. Based on the assessment data and the results of interviews with teachers, it is known that the technique of grouping levels of reading ability can gradually improve students' ability to read. This is based on the indicators in the list of grade II B students' reading ability scores on October 12, 2022, and November 21, 2022, indicating a change in students' reading ability scores.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze and find out the mechanism of learning or training at the Overseas Training Center (OTC) Bali Job Training Institute (OTC), then to analyze and find out the level of satisfaction of trainees and graduate users who have attended learning at the Job Training Institute (LPK). Overseas Training Center (OTC) Bali, as well as to analyze and find out strategies that can be carried out by the Overseas Training Center (OTC) Bali to be able to improve its training delivery system in accordance with the competencies of Human Resources (HR) requested by the tourism industry in Bali. Collecting data using questionnaires & interviews. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis. The results of the analysis show that the learning or training mechanism at the Overseas Training Center (OTC) Bali Job Training Institute (OTC) has been running very well according to standards and professionalism in the field of tourism, especially cruise ships and hospitality at the international level, as well as the basis of learning at OTC Bali already based on SKKNI and more dominant practice to industry than theory. There is a very high level of satisfaction from students and graduates who have attended learning at the Overseas Training Center (OTC) Bali Job Training Institute (OTC) Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, the appropriate strategy used by the Bali Overseas Training Center (OTC) is a strategy model SO is a strategy that uses strength (Strength) and by taking advantage of opportunities (Opportunities) that are owned in the industry, namely through increasing product excellence.

Abstract

Spiritual tourism is a form of tourism that is growing rapidly in the Province of Bali, so it needs to be developed as a sustainable tourist destination. In order to support the successful implementation of the sustainable tourism program, the participation of the existing community is obtained and involved in the spiritual tourism. Based on these reviews, this study aims to examine and analyze the influence of community involvement, citizen support, and usefulness on the sustainability of spiritual tourism in Bali, Indonesia. This research is associative quantitative research with data collection techniques through survey methods with questionnaire media. Questionnaires were distributed to 90 residents who were involved in spiritual tourism in Bali-Indonesia which were then analyzed using PLS analysis. The results of the study concluded that community involvement and community support had a significant effect on usefulness. Community involvement and usefulness have a significant effect on the sustainability of the destination. However, community support has no significant effect on the sustainability of the destination.

Abstract

In an effort to make the nation's life more intelligent, increasing the quality of teachers is considered very important because quality teachers are expected to produce students who are qualified, agile, moral and useful for the nation. The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of academic supervision in an effort to improve the quality of the nation. This research was designed using qualitative methods with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out using interview observation and documentation techniques. The analysis procedure goes through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, while data testing in this study uses triangulation. Based on the research that has been carried out, it can be seen that in implementing supervision activities, it must go through at least 3 (three) stages, namely: planning, implementation and evaluation. In planning actions, the school principal will issue a letter containing the decisions and schedule for carrying out the supervision. Then, in the implementation of the supervision activity, it is carried out by monitoring the teacher's performance in the classroom and after completion, it is entered into an evaluation activity where the school principal will assess and provide solutions if there are problems.

Abstract

The Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, Number 3/M/2021 on Key Performance Indicators, has shifted the paradigm of the learning process from teacher-centred to student-centred learning. The case method and team-based project learning methods are the criteria for IKU 7 on classroom learning. This indicator emphasizes collaborative and participatory learning to increase the quality and competitiveness of universities in Indonesia. This research analyses the need to implement case method and team-based project learning methods in higher education. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach to investigate, describe, and interpret how important the implementation of case and team-based project learning methods is in higher education and the phenomenon of implementing these learning methods in higher education. The research data collection technique is a literature study from books, journal articles, research, and online media. The literature sources are critically analyzed to answer the research objectives and ideas in learning methods. The result of this research is that the case method and team-based project learning methods have advantages in the learning process, including increasing student participation, increasing student motivation, increasing student skills based on graduate morals and ethics, building a pleasant learning atmosphere, improving student soft skills and hard skills, creating students who are more critical and responsible, improving student cognitive aspects, and so on. Case methods and team-based project learning methods are essential to implement in higher education because they are by the MBKM and IKU programs, which emphasize collaborative and participatory learning.
