Abstract

In an effort to achieve educational goals both quantitatively and qualitatively, the cost of education has a very decisive role. Therefore, without adequate financial support, the education process will not run as expected. The central government through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, in addition to channeling funds to complement higher education facilities and infrastructure, the government also provides funds to students in the form of scholarships, both underprivileged scholarships and achievement scholarships for students who have good achievements on campus. The provision of these scholarships is to provide motivation to students to improve learning outcomes and also to provide motivation to students who excel in order to maintain their achievements. The research method used is descriptive quantitative method. The research location is at Ibrahimy Situbondo University for students who are recipients of the Indonesia Smart College Card Scholarship. This study aims to determine how much influence the awarding of the Indonesia Smart College Card scholarship has on student Learning Behavior, and to determine the Learning Behavior of students who receive the Indonesia Smart College Card Scholarship. There are two variables in this study, namely scholarships (X) and learning behavior (Y). In this study, 108 scholarship recipient students were used as the population and the sample used was 29 students who received the Smart Indonesia Card Scholarship. The instruments in the research were questionnaire guidelines to obtain scores for awarding scholarships and questionnaire guidelines to obtain scores for student learning behavior in the Islamic Religious Education Study Program.

Abstract

In the midst of social and economic challenges faced by Indonesian society today, waqf institutions play a crucial and strategic role. Waqf, as a form of Islamic philanthropy, has significantly contributed to the development of mosques, schools, study circles, hospitals, orphanages, Islamic boarding schools, and other Islamic educational and social institutions. Waqf has two dimensions, serving as an act of worship towards Allah and a means of facilitating transactions among humans. One of the social functions of waqf is its ability to provide positive impacts on society at large when managed productively and optimally. Pondok Pesantren Darunnajah serves as an example of an educational institution that has successfully implemented productive and dynamic business-based waqf, adapting to the movements and conditions of human civilization. This study aims to analyze the management of productive business-based waqf in Pondok Pesantren Darunnajah through a SWOT analysis. A mix method approach is employed, utilizing SWOT analysis as a tool to identify factors that formulate institutional strategies. Data for this research was obtained through interviews and questionnaires administered to relevant parties in Pondok Pesantren Darunnajah. The findings indicate that the management of productive business-based waqf in Pondok Pesantren Darunnajah holds great potential and opportunities. The implementation of productive waqf falls within the growth-oriented strategy quadrant, allowing the utilization of existing strengths to seize various development opportunities in the future.

Abstract

The development of biology learning modules based on local potential, especially the manufacture of patchouli oil (Pogostemon cablin Benth.) is certainly an interesting matter, at this stage the research was carried out in Aceh Tamiang with biodiversity material for class X SMA/MA. The study was carried out at SMAN 2 Patra Nusa, Manyak Payed, Aceh Tamiang from July 2021 to January 2022. This study uses the Borg & Gall model of research and development (R&D). The study tool consisted of a questionnaire sheet for material specialists, media professionals, educators, and students as well as a practicality test questionnaire. The study's test participants were students in class X-3 at SMAN 2 Patra Nusa, Manyak Payed, Aceh Tamiang. After the tryout was conducted on 30 students to ascertain their response to the module evaluation, a practicality test was also carried out to determine the practicality of the module for 10 students using a practicality test questionnaire instrument sheet. Based on the conclusions of the material expert validation, a percentage of 51.6% was attained with a respectable category. 90% of the validation results from media experts were extremely respectable. With a percentage of 94.7%, the teacher's response to the module yielded quite positive results. The module's results from student replies had a very respectable category percentage of 89.9%. The module's practicality test scores fell into the very practical category with a rating of 87.5%. Thus, both teachers and students can benefit from using the local potential based biology learning module on biodiversity content.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan kepemimpinan situasional oleh kepala sekolah dalam menghadapi berbagai permasalahan di sekolah. Kepemimpinan situasional menekankan pentingnya adaptasi gaya kepemimpinan sesuai dengan situasi dan kondisi yang ada, terutama dalam pengambilan keputusan dan pengelolaan tim. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara mendalam dan observasi terhadap kepala sekolah. Temuan utama dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah berhasil mengidentifikasi tingkat kesiapan dan kebutuhan para guru serta staf, lalu menyesuaikan gaya kepemimpinan berdasarkan faktor tersebut. Kepala sekolah juga terbukti mampu membuat keputusan yang fleksibel dan tepat waktu, serta mengembangkan komunikasi yang terbuka dengan seluruh anggota tim. Penerapan kepemimpinan situasional ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap motivasi, moral, dan kinerja staf, serta menciptakan suasana kerja yang lebih produktif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan situasional dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan sekolah dan kualitas hubungan antaranggota tim, yang pada akhirnya berkontribusi pada terciptanya lingkungan belajar yang lebih baik.

Abstract

The rationale for this research is to increase the openness of high school students so that students can adapt to their school environment. This study aims to (1) describe the procedure for developing a guidebook, (2) determine the validity of developing a guidebook, (3) determine the effectiveness of developing a guidebook for the game Dam Quiz as a medium for practicing self-disclosure. This study uses the ADDIE model according to Hasyim (2016) which consists of 5 stages, namely ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), but this research implements the ADDIE model only in 3 stages, namely analysis, design and development. This research was conducted at Al-Huda Islamic Middle School with counseling teachers and students using guidebooks.

Abstract

Self-disclosure is needed to build interpersonal relationships with other individuals. In the process of adaptation to the social environment, a person must be willing to open up so that his presence can be accepted in his environment. This study aims to develop and validate self-disclosure instruments for junior high school students. This development research was carried out at Al Huda Lamongan Islamic Middle School. The method used in this research is R&D. The trial was carried out on 47 students using saturated sampling techniques. Aspects of self-disclosure that are measured in the instrument include: emotional state, interpersonal relationships, personal, taste, sex, thoughts, religion, problems, and education. The results of this data analysis mean that the self-disclosure instrument for junior high school students can be declared valid and reliable, so that it can be used by counseling teachers and counseling researchers to measure the level of self-disclosure of students.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the use of syllable learning video media in improving beginning reading skills in grade I students in elementary school. Beginning reading is an important stage in learning to read, where students learn to recognize letters, words, and understand the relationship between sound and writing. This study used classroom action research (PTK). The results showed that the use of learning video media can improve early reading skills, as evidenced by the results of measurements with observation sheets measuring student results in cycle, I obtained a score of 73% and cycle II increased to 86,5%.

Abstract

SPMI Basic Education is planned, implemented, controlled, and developed by each education unit. The internal quality assurance system is an independent activity carried out by schools as a basis for external quality assurance carried out by the National Accreditation Board for Schools/Madrasahs. This study aims to describe the internal quality assurance management system at SD Ukhuwah 2 Banjarmasin and internal quality indicators at SD Ukhuwah 2 Banjarmasin. In this case the researcher describes the internal quality assurance system at SD Ukhuwah 2 Banjarmasin. The data in this study is the internal quality assurance system at SD Ukhuwah 2 Banjarmasin which consists of establishing, fulfilling, controlling and developing as well as the specificity of internal quality standards at SD Ukhuwah 2 Banjarmasin. The findings in this study are (1) The internal quality assurance system consists of four stages, namely (a) Determination by mapping quality with activities (b) Fulfillment of 8 national education standards and 1 special standard (c) control is carried out by the school principal and the Education Division of the Ukhuwah Foundation referring to the provisions of the quality standard of the Integrated Islamic School Network (JSIT) (d) development is carried out by establishing a new, higher quality standard if school achievements have met the minimum according to the SNP.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of family and social environment in preventing early marriage in South Banjarmasin District. A qualitative approach was used with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews with three informants, namely teenagers who have experienced early marriage, parents or guardians of teenagers who have married at an early age, and the Head of South Banjarmasin Sub-district. The interview data was analyzed using the data reduction method to identify the main themes related to the role of family and social environment in the phenomenon of early marriage. The results showed that family pressure and social norms in the neighborhood influence teenagers' decision to marry at an early age. Parents or guardians think that marriage will provide protection and stability for their children in difficult economic situations. The local government has initiated sexual education programs in schools and provided counseling services for adolescents, as well as collaborating with non-governmental organizations in socialization campaigns on the dangers of early marriage.

Abstract

Decision making is a human cognitive process that results in the selection of beliefs or actions among several alternatives options either rationally or irrationally. In an educational organization decision making plays a key role in terms of motivation, leadership, communication, coordination, and organizational change. An organization only work if its leaders have the ability to make decisions and its implemation to its members as determined by their roles and responsibilities. By using literary techniques, this study confirms that decision making of an educational organization must realize several basic principles, namely authority, credibilty, reference, ethics, orientation, and scope. Based on this principle, decisions are made using one of the classical, administrative, incremental, administrative-incremental, and contingecy paradigms.
