Abstract

A laptop device is a technology in portable form that can be used to process data like a computer, making it easier for every job in its respective field that uses the system. The aim of the research carried out is to analyze customer needs for the desired laptop and determine the choice of the best laptop, the solution used is the SAW method for selecting the best laptop, then the results obtained from the SAW method process have conceptual stages, namely, determining SAW criteria, determining variable benefit and cost criteria, determining the weight of each criterion, determining SAW alternatives, normalizing the matrix, calculating the V value and ranking based on laptop brands such as Acer, Lenovo, Asus, HP, Dell and MSI.

Abstract

This research examines the social and economic impacts of the lack of public transport on the people of Palangkaraya City. The lack of public transport in the city has become a major impediment to mobility, resulting in higher living costs and longer travel times. Using qualitative methods, this study evaluates how the lack of public transport affects the daily lives of residents, including access to employment, and education.The results show that the lack of public transit has led to increased use of private vehicles, which contributes to traffic congestion and air pollution. In addition, low-income residents who cannot afford private vehicles or pay expensive transportation fares become isolated and experience greater economic hardship. Based on this research we recommend improving public transport infrastructure, developing more efficient routes and schedules, and subsidizing fares for low-income groups. In addition, cooperation between the government, private sector, and civil society is needed to create sustainable and inclusive transportation solutions. mproving the public transport system is expected to improve the quality of life of Palangkaraya citizens and support more balanced economic growth.

Abstract

Binawan University, situated in East Jakarta, faced the repercussions of the COVID-19 outbreak, leading to the adoption of online learning through a Learning Management System (LMS) based on Moodle. The university has been utilizing the LMS since 2019. However, challenges arise in the Nutrition study program, where the effectiveness of the LMS and seamless communication between the Academic information systems and LMS remain imperfect. To assess the LMS's effectiveness, the research employs the Delone And Mclean method. The study aims to evaluate the efficacy of the Moodle-based LMS in the Nutrition program at Binawan University and assess the integration between the academic information system and the LMS. Findings from the research indicate that, according to the Delone And Mclean method, the overall quality of the LMS in the nutrition study program at Binawan University is good, achieving a score of 69.36% in system testing.

Abstract

Registration as a new student, both in public and private schools, is the first stage in the admission process. Every year, schools, including SMK Wiyata Satya, organize new student admissions (PSB) for prospective students who plan to register, especially for junior high, high school, or state vocational levels. PSB is an initial stage that is carried out every year to select prospective students based on their academic achievement, with the aim that they can continue their education to a higher level. In this study, we will discuss about service to prospective students today by applying the SERVQUAL (Service Quality) Method. In the application of the SERVQUAL Method, factors that can affect the quality of service in New Student Admissions (PSB) will be identified, by determining the attributes that play a role in influencing the level of customer satisfaction. . The Service Quality method is used to identify attributes that need to be improved in service quality, by detailing the gap between the service received and customer expectations. The purpose of implementing Service Quality is to meet customer needs. The concept of service quality and its environment. New Student Admission (PSB) is the first step that occurs every year for the selection of prospective students based on academic scores in order to continue their education at a higher level.

Abstract

This paper discusses the role of information technology in the context of digital diplomacy within the framework of a public diplomacy organization, with a focus on the Indonesia Youth Foundation (IYF). Digital diplomacy represents a new paradigm in diplomacy that leverages information technology and social media to expand reach and influence public opinion globally. IYF, as an organization committed to educating and empowering the youth of Indonesia, has embraced information technology as a primary tool to achieve its goals. By analyzing the role of information technology in digital diplomacy within the context of IYF, this paper provides insights into how public diplomacy organizations can harness the advancements in information technology to accomplish their objectives in promoting positive messages, expanding networks, and building stronger relationships with a global audience. This research is expected to offer practical guidance for similar organizations seeking to enhance the effectiveness of their diplomacy through the utilization of information technology.

Abstract

The results of the research are expected to provide guidelines for strategic planning for companies that can be used as procedures for writing a scientific research. Abstract

The development of information technology is very influential on the business world and organizations so that IT governance is needed. This information technology is expected to be useful for stakeholders in making decisions. COBIT 2019 is an IT governance framework that meets the standards in implementing IT governance. The library at UIN Suska Riau has implemented information technology in storing and managing student final assignments or what is known as the UIN SUSKA RIAU Repository system. In conducting a business evaluation, the implementation of the Repository system needs to be maintained, monitored and evaluated for IT governance to determine the process and management of IT usage. After the analysis, it can be seen that the results of the evaluation using the EDM 01, EDM 02 and EDM 03 domains, show that IT governance in the library is at level 3 - established. With some notes that must be analyzed in the EDM 01 domain there is still a lack of communication in IT management, in the EDM 02 domain the application of IT values is not optimal, and what needs to be considered in EDM 03 is the lack of awareness of IT risks.

Abstract

Abstrak: Wakaf adalah salah satu instrumen filantropi yang penting dalam Islam. Pengelolaan wakaf yang efektif dan bermanfaat bagi masyarakat membutuhkan pengambilan keputusan yang tepat oleh nadzir wakaf. Pendekatan etika dapat menjadi panduan bagi nadzir wakaf dalam mengambil keputusan yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran pendekatan etika teleologi dan etika deontologi dalam pengambilan keputusan nadzir wakaf. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua pendekatan tersebut memiliki peran penting dalam memastikan pengelolaan wakaf yang efektif dan bermanfaat bagi masyarakat. Etika teleologi dapat digunakan untuk mengevaluasi konsekuensi positif dan negatif dari setiap keputusan yang diambil. Keputusan yang diambil haruslah menghasilkan konsekuensi yang bermanfaat bagi wakif, masyarakat, dan wakaf itu sendiri. Etika deontologi dapat digunakan untuk memastikan bahwa keputusan yang diambil sesuai dengan kewajiban dan prinsip moral yang berlaku. Keputusan yang diambil haruslah didasarkan pada prinsip-prinsip kejujuran, keadilan, dan transparansi. Kedua pendekatan tersebut saling melengkapi dan dapat digunakan secara bersama-sama untuk menghasilkan pengambilan keputusan yang lebih baik. Nadzir wakaf perlu menerapkan pendekatan etika dalam pengambilan keputusan untuk memastikan bahwa wakaf dikelola secara efektif dan bermanfaat bagi masyarakat. Kata kunci: etika teleologi, etika deontologi, pengambilan keputusan, nadzir wakaf.

Abstract

The general election is one way for people to choose the candidates they want, including the DPD election, so that the rights of the people can be represented. In the Daerah Perwakilan Dewan. The purpose of this DPD election will be to determine how autonomous the various areas will be in the future. In order to generate candidate leaders who can help strengthen the autonomy of the region and so improve the well-being of the people themselves, the study's objective is to describe and analyze the systematics of the election of DPD members through general elections in the region. The researchers also sought to clarify the connection between the DPD's function and mission, as well as its authority in its positions within government, and regional autonomy. The research conducted for this study is of the qualitative variety. It is completed using a library study methodology based on phenomena that seek to concentrate research from prior scientific works as research material or data sources. According to the research's findings, the DPD plays a role in enhancing the region's autonomy so that the elections can be held in a transparent manner. According to the statute currently in effect, there are numerous steps necessary to elect the DPD, and these steps range from preparation through the appointment of a candidate member. Everything in the Indonesian elections is strictly regulated by BAWASLU, often to the point of infractions. This study's conclusion is that Indonesia's elections to date have been quite successful because they feature a number of stages that allow for a well-organized selecting process. Up until the appointment of all candidates is organized, the systematic general election of the DPD starts with the preparation of the minimal submission of support.

Abstract

Information systems in a company are important to increase productivity and quality in the company. With the development of technology today, it is certainly an convenience for companies in making information systems to support the performance of the company. To ensure the application runs according to functionality and find undiscovered errors in anticipation of upcoming errors, System testing is needed using Black Box and White Box to find errors in code structure and function errors in forms, interface design and data structures so that it can provide recommendations in accordance with the problems found and also facilitate program code maintenance or program code development in the future. From the test results, no problems were found in the login function and the majority of forms did not have handling to check empty input fields and obtained an effectiveness value of 62.5%..
