Abstract

Permukiman pedesaan di Indonesia umumnya berkembang secara bertahap mengikuti dinamika sosial masyarakatnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola penataan rumah di Dusun Dasan Lian, Kecamatan Aikmel, Lombok Timur, serta mengidentifikasi implikasi spasial dari pertumbuhan organik tersebut terhadap kualitas lingkungan permukiman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi lapangan, dokumentasi visual, dan analisis morfologi kawasan. Data dikumpulkan dengan mengidentifikasi pola tata massa bangunan, orientasi hunian, struktur jaringan jalan, dan distribusi ruang terbuka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permukiman berkembang berbasis sistem kekerabatan melalui pembagian lahan keluarga secara turun-temurun, sehingga membentuk kluster hunian dengan kepadatan yang meningkat pada generasi berikutnya. Orientasi bangunan tidak seragam dan jaringan jalan lingkungan memiliki lebar terbatas, yang berimplikasi pada aksesibilitas dan kualitas sirkulasi udara. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pola organik di Dasan Lian memperkuat kohesi sosial masyarakat, namun memerlukan arahan penataan berbasis partisipatif agar keberlanjutan spasial dan kualitas lingkungan tetap terjaga.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak kurangnyainteraksi sosial terhadap tingkat partisipasi masyarakat di DusunKarang Petak dan Dusun Dasan Lian. Interaksi sosial memilikiperan penting dalam membangun solidaritas, memperkuat rasakebersamaan, serta meningkatkan keterlibatan masyarakatdalam kegiatan sosial dan pembangunan desa. Penelitian inimenggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yang didukungdengan data kuantitatif sederhana melalui observasi,wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkanbahwa menurunnya komunikasi tatap muka yang disebabkanoleh kesibukan pekerjaan dan meningkatnya penggunaanteknologi digital berdampak pada rendahnya partisipasimasyarakat dalam kegiatan gotong royong, pertemuan dusun,dan kegiatan keagamaan. Kurangnya interaksi sosial jugamemengaruhi rasa memiliki dan tanggung jawab kolektifterhadap program desa. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upayastrategis melalui penguatan kegiatan kemasyarakatan yangterstruktur guna meningkatkan kembali interaksi sosial danpartisipasi masyarakat dalam pembangunan desa secaraberkelanjutan.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) merupakan salah satu bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa secara interdisipliner, institusional, dan kemitraan sebagai salah bentuk kegiatan tridharma perguruan tinggi. Adapun sasaran yang dipilih dalam kegiatan KKN Era New Normal ini adalah Dusun Tato. Dusun Tato merupakan salah satu dusun yang ada di Desa Sandik. Pandemic Covid-19 yang melanda dunia saat ini berdampak pada seluruh bidang kehidupan, salah satunya yaitu sektor pendidikan. Salah satu dampak yang ditimbulkan yaitu kurangnya interaksi antara guru dan peserta didik bahkan antar-peserta didik itu sendiri. Dampak Covid-19 tersebut menimbulkan beberapa permasalahan di Dusun Tato, selain pada bidang ekonomi juga berdampak pada kegiatan pembelajaran anak. Anak-anak menjadi malas belajar dan lebih banyak bermain. Oleh karena itu, kelompok KKN Terpadu Era New Normal tertarik untuk membantu mengatasi hal tersebut agar tercapainya keadaan yang lebih baik melalui Program Mengajar di Desa. Salah satunya yaitu melalui program bimbingan belajar dan kreativitas sains untuk meningkatkan minat belajar anak-anak di Dusun Tato. Target dari kegiatan ini adalah anak-anak Dusun Tato dengan jenjang pendidikan SMA/MA. Dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen, program bimbingan belajar dan kreativitas sains telah berhasil dilaksanakan dan dapat meningkatkan minat belajar anak-anak di Dusun Tato.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the transformation of learning from face-to-face instruction to online learning. This shift requires teachers to possess competencies in designing technology-based learning strategies to ensure effective learning processes. However, in practice, many teachers still face challenges in utilizing digital learning media, developing appropriate online learning strategies, and maintaining students’ understanding of physics concepts. This community service activity aims to enhance teachers’ competencies in designing and implementing effective online physics learning strategies through a workshop program. The implementation method consisted of several stages, including preparation, workshop implementation, practice in developing online learning materials, and activity evaluation. The results of the activity indicate that the workshop improved teachers’ understanding and skills in utilizing various digital learning media such as video conferencing platforms, interactive learning applications, and visual media for explaining physics concepts. In addition, participants demonstrated improved abilities in designing more interactive and contextual learning activities. Therefore, this workshop provides a positive contribution to strengthening the capacity of physics teachers in addressing the challenges of digital learning in the post-pandemic era.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly affected the learning process in elementary schools, particularly due to the limitations of face-to-face learning and the low utilization of technology in instructional activities. The Kampus Mengajar program is one of the initiatives under the Merdeka Belajar–Kampus Merdeka policy aimed at assisting schools in improving the quality of learning through strengthening literacy, numeracy, and technology adaptation. This community service activity was conducted at SDN 2 Narmada, West Lombok Regency. The implementation method consisted of several stages, including preparation, observation and analysis of school needs, implementation of learning assistance programs, technology adaptation, and support for school administration. The results indicate that the Kampus Mengajar program had a positive impact on increasing students’ learning motivation, improving literacy and numeracy skills, and enhancing teachers’ understanding in utilizing educational technology. In addition, the program also assisted the school in managing administrative tasks and developing literacy facilities through the establishment of a literacy garden program. Therefore, mentoring activities through the Kampus Mengajar program can provide a tangible contribution to improving the quality of learning in elementary schools, particularly in areas with limited educational facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 berdampak pada berbagai sektor kehidupan, termasuk pendidikan. Kondisi ini menyebabkan kegiatan pembelajaran anak di Dusun Tato, Desa Sandik, Kecamatan Batulayar, Lombok Barat menjadi kurang optimal, sehingga banyak anak lebih banyak bermain dan kurang termotivasi untuk belajar. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan melalui program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Terpadu Era New Normal dengan tujuan membantu meningkatkan minat belajar anak melalui program mengajar di desa. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui kegiatan bimbingan belajar yang disesuaikan dengan jenjang pendidikan peserta, mulai dari TK/RA, SD/MI, SMP/MTs hingga SMA/MA. Selain program utama berupa bimbingan belajar, kegiatan ini juga dilengkapi dengan program tambahan seperti bimbingan mengaji, kerja bakti lingkungan, membantu kegiatan posyandu, serta sosialisasi pengolahan sampah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa program bimbingan belajar mampu meningkatkan minat dan partisipasi anak dalam kegiatan pembelajaran serta mendapat respon positif dari masyarakat. Dengan demikian, program mengajar di desa dapat menjadi salah satu upaya pendampingan pendidikan anak di masyarakat, khususnya pada masa adaptasi kebiasaan baru.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance teachers’ understanding and capacity in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in Natural Science (IPA) learning at the junior high school level. The program was conducted through mentoring, training, and reflective activities on curriculum implementation at a partner school, namely SMPN 6 Mataram. The service activities employed a participatory approach consisting of several stages, including needs analysis, curriculum training, assistance in developing teaching modules, classroom implementation, and program evaluation. The results of the program indicate that teachers gained a more comprehensive understanding of the concept of the Merdeka Curriculum, the development of teaching modules, the application of project-based learning, and the implementation of formative and summative assessments. Furthermore, teachers were able to integrate the values of the Pancasila Student Profile into science learning through experimental activities, group discussions, and simple scientific projects. The mentoring activities also had a positive impact on enhancing teachers’ creativity in designing learning processes that are more contextual, flexible, and student-centered. This community service program is expected to serve as a model for strengthening the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in schools and to promote the improvement of science learning quality that is more innovative and relevant to the demands of the 21st century.

Abstract

The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum requires the readiness of teachers, schools, and evaluation systems that are capable of ensuring the realization of student-centered learning. This community service activity aims to describe the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in science learning and to evaluate various challenges that arise during its implementation at SMPIT ABATA Lombok. The method employed in this activity was a descriptive qualitative approach, conducted through classroom observations, in-depth interviews, and reflective discussions with the school principal and science teachers. The results of the activity indicate that the Merdeka Curriculum provides teachers with greater flexibility in designing contextual and creative learning experiences. However, several challenges were identified, including limited laboratory facilities, variations in students’ abilities, and differences in the levels of technological literacy among teachers. The evaluation of curriculum implementation was conducted using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model, which enables a comprehensive assessment of the learning process. This activity contributes to improving teachers’ understanding of curriculum implementation and encourages stronger collaboration among teachers in developing more innovative science learning practices.

Abstract

The 2018 West Nusa Tenggara earthquake devastated homes, causing numerous casualties and economic paralysis, particularly in the affected areas. It is impossible to predict when this disaster will occur or how severe the potential hazards will be. Therefore, humans can only act to minimize the risk of damage caused by the disaster. A community service activity conducted on May 27, 2023, among students at SMAN 1 Lembar aimed to educate and conduct an evacuation simulation regarding earthquake hazards so that participants would learn about earthquake preparedness. Forty-nine students participated in the activity. The students were given a questionnaire containing knowledge about earthquakes and evacuation procedures during an earthquake while at school. The overall content of the questionnaire indicated students' preparedness for earthquake disaster mitigation. The data from the scores were converted to an X value on a scale of 100. The lowest score was 54.5 and the highest was 90.9. While the average value (M) is 77.3 with a standard deviation (SD) of 4.5. Through this statistical data, the value of student preparedness for earthquake disaster mitigation is made into three categories, namely the low category with the criteria of data value X < M – SD, the medium category with the criteria M – SD < X < M + SD and the high category with the criteria X> M + SD. Based on the data analysis, the low category is 24%, the medium category is 39% and the high category is 37%. The conclusion of this activity, indicates that through the socialization and simulation of earthquake disaster mitigation, that students of SMAN 1 Lembar – West Lombok who participated in the socialization of disaster mitigation around 76% are expected to have preparedness for earthquake disaster mitigation.

Abstract

Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan mengkaji berbagai bukti untuk memperlihatkan “Luas” sebagai besaran vektor kepada mahasiswa calon guru fisika. Akhir pengabdian ini ditargetkan telah diberikan pengenalan terkait konsep luas sebagai besaran vektor kepada mahasiswa pendidikan fisika semester I, Universitas Mataram sebagai salah satu upaya pencapaian pemahaman konsep fisika yang memadai. Metode: Pada awal pengabdian, dilakukan peninjauan pemahaman awal mahasiswa tentang konsep luas sebagai besaran vektor atau besaran skalar. Selanjutnya, dilakukan identifikasi kesesuaian konsep berdasarkan ilmu fisika. Tahap akhir dari pengabdian ini, mahasiswa memiliki pemahaman konsep yang benar tentang luas sebagai besaran vektor.
