Abstract

Employee performance at PT. Nengmeypratama Malut Maluku (NMM) in carrying out work is decreasing. This is due to the lack of training in an effort to increase employee emotional intelligence and the lack of employee involvement in activities carried out by the company. This research aims to empirically test the influence of emotional intelligence on the performance of PT employees. NMM. The population in this study were all sales employees at PT. NMM, and the sample consisted of 30 people. The analytical tool used is simple linear regression analysis. The results of simple linear regression show that the significance value (sig) is 0.000, which means it is smaller than 0.05. Based on the research results, it shows that emotional intelligence and organizational commitment affect the performance of PT employees. NMM has a positive and significant effect. And the contribution of the influence of the variables emotional intelligence and organizational commitment to performance at PT. NMM was 25.7%, while the remaining 74.3% was influenced by other factors not studied. Improving employee performance at PT. NMM can be carried out by providing training to employees in an effort to increase their emotional intelligence and involving employees in company activities so that it is hoped that this will improve employee performance at work.  Keywords: Emotional Intelligence; Organizational Commitment; Performance

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the income of mud crab fishermen in Sayolo Village, Teminabuan District, South Sorong Regency. The research was carried out using observation and interview methods which were carried out in February 2023 in Sayolo village with two sample Neighborhood Units. Each sample involved one mud crab fishing entrepreneur. Primary data is data obtained from in-depth interviews with mangrove crab fishermen respondents using a questionnaire (list of questions). The price of mangrove crabs at the fishermen's market level is IDR 20,000/bin with an average gross income of IDR. 537,500/person, while fishermen sell mud crabs to holding traders for small Bs Rp. 10,000, Large Bs Rp. 30,000, Up medium size Rp. 40,0000 and up to a large size of Rp. 60,0000 with an average gross income received of Rp. 809,000/person. The costs incurred by mangrove crab fishing entrepreneurs are based on two neighborhood units in Sayolo Village, namely Sayolo (RT 1) with an average total cost of Rp. 493,037.50/org, and Sayolo 2 (RT 2) with an average total cost of Rp. 747,103.57/org. income of mud crab fishing entrepreneurs in Sayolo Village, Teminabuan District is classified as very low compared to the minimum wage of Southwest Papua Province, thus the highest income is made by mud crab fishing entrepreneurs from Sayolo 1 (RT 1) with an average income of IDR 531,296/person, followed by Sayolo 2 (RT 2) with an average income of Rp. 426.110/org Keywords: Mangrove Crabs, Income, Costs, Sayolo Village.

Abstract

The problems in this study is the delay in submitting material on the Regional Budget Draft to be discussed in the Budget Session. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the implementation of the Regional Budget of South Sorong Regency. As we all know that there are three functions of the Regional People's Representative Council, namely legislation, budget, and supervision. This study used the Qualitative Descriptive Research model. There are two sources of data in this study, namely primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained by interviewing informants. While secondary data sources are obtained with observations and documentation.The results showed that in terms of the results of the implementation of the legislative function has been carried out properly and in accordance with Law Number 23 of 2014. This is intended because the Regional People's Representative Council can complete each draft of existing Regional Regulations. The implementation of the budget function has been carried out well through political lobbying, both among fellow legislators and between legislators and executives. The implementation of the supervisory function has been carried out well. This is evidenced by the participation of board members in overseeing all Local Government policy programs. The suggestion in this study is that the Regional People's Representative Council of South Sorong Regency should pay attention to environmental, economic, health, social conditions in reviewing a draft Regional Regulation so that the policies decided are in accordance with the expectations of the community so that they become satisfied. The Regional Representative Council of South Sorong Regency should be more careful in the agenda of discussing the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget to be in accordance with the financial condition of the Regional Government. We recommend that the Regional People's Representative Council of South Sorong Regency be more active in carrying out its supervisory function. One way is to monitor and evaluate the management of the Regional Budget of South Sorong Regency.Keywords: Function, Regional People's Representative Council, Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget.

Abstract

Indonesia was hit by a major disaster, namely the Covid-19 pandemic, due to this Covid-19 pandemic not only having a social impact on Indonesia but also having a negative impact on the Indonesian economic sector, this has increased the number of poor people in Indonesia. The government's efforts to prevent an increase in the number of poor people in Indonesia, the Indonesian government launched a number of social assistance, one of which was direct cash assistance from village funds (BLT-DD). during the Covid-19 pandemic, and one of them was the poor community of Salahutu District who also received this program. So this study was conducted to determine the implementation of the Cash Direct Assistance program policy for the poor affected by Covid-19 in Salahutu District, Central Maluku Regency.The research was carried out for 1 month from September 7 to October 7, 2022 in 6 countries in Salahutu sub-district namely Liang, Suli, Tulehu, Tengah, Tial and Waai. There are 9 informants or research subjects. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method design. Data collection techniques used include interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.This study uses the theory of policy implementation from Van Meter and Van Horn which has 6 policy implementation variables and from the results of this study that the BLT-DD program is still not running well because there is maladministration in its implementation.Keywords: Policy Implementation, Covid-19 Pandemic, BLT-DD Program

Abstract

This research aims to determine the marketing channels for mud crabs and the level of prices, costs and income of mud crab fishermen in Sayolo Village, Teminabuan District, South Sorong Regency. The research was carried out using observation and interview methods which were carried out in June-September 2023 in Sayolo village with two sample Neighborhood Units. Each sample involved one mud crab fishing entrepreneur. Primary data is data obtained from in-depth interviews with mangrove crab fishermen respondents using a questionnaire (list of questions). In this research, there are two types of marketing channels for mud crab fishing entrepreneurs in Sayolo Village, Teminabuan District, namely the first type, producers sell mud crabs to final consumers, the second type, producers sell mud crabs to district traders, sell mud crabs to traders outside the district, sell to final consumers. Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to find out how much positive and significant influence motivation has on the performance of employees at the Onatali Village Head Office, Rote Tengah District, Rote Ndao Regency. The data collection techniques used in this writing are observation techniques, questionnaires and interviews. The raw data obtained was processed using the SPSS 25 computer application using simple linear regression analysis and the t test significance test. The writing results show that there is a positive and significant influence between motivation on employee performance at the Onatali Village Head Office, Rote Tengah District, Rote Ndao Regency with the regression equation Y = 7.089+0.634X. The results of the significance test using the t test show that the tcount of 3.241 is greater than the table value of 1.943.

Abstract

The implementation of zoning system policies in the ex-superior Senior High School Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi. In its implementation, it was found that the implementers had their own strategies in responding to the PPDB zoning system policy, resulting in an uneven distribution of students in each school.The attitude of the implementers is reinforced by the theory of policy resistance. In addition, there are also several obstacles in its implementation, such as zoning which is more profitable for ex-superior schools, lack of socialization by related agencies, insufficient school facilities in all schools, especially non-superior ones, and the use of family cards and wishes parents so that their children get a better education. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through interviews and direct observation at the research location and was supported by secondary data and documents in each school and from the Education Office. The main resource person in this research is the principal, but to support the research data that has been obtained, researchers also collect data from other sources, such as; teachers and education personnel (curriculum, student affairs, school treasurers, and school operators) and also supported by non-bureaucratic parties (journalists, political parties, NGOs (non-governmental organizations), and youth activists in the education sector. In order to achieve the main objectives of the zoning system policy, researchers recommend that local governments force more implementors in each ex-superior school to comply with the policy and impose sanctions in accordance with the applicable Permendikbud.

Abstract

Sources of original regional income revenue consist of: regional tax revenue, regional levy revenue, income resulting from the management of separated regional assets and other legitimate regional original income. In order to support PAD sources, regional governments seek to invest in various opportunities to increase regional revenues, especially opportunities to collect public funds outside of tax revenues and regional levies. The aim of this research is to determine the role of the Technical Implementation Unit of the Kupang Manpower Training Service on Regional Original Income. The population in this research is: all staff in the Technical Implementation Unit of the Manpower Training Service. The number of informants was 4 people and 6 respondents were tenants, both from legal entities, the business world and individuals using data from the last 3 years 2020-2022. Data collection techniques used interviews and observations. Descriptive research is research with the aim of describing a population, condition or event systematically and accurately. The data analysis used was qualitative descriptive. Results obtained: the contribution contributed to Regional Original Income (PAD) from the implementation of training shows an increase from 2021 amounting to Rp. 4,000,000,- and in 2022 the increase in PAD will be IDR. 41,900,000. From the data obtained from 2021 and 2022, it can be categorized that UPTD PTK (played a role) in increasing PAD, whereas in 2020 it was unable to carry out training and collaboration activities with third parties due to the Covid-19 pandemic so it was discontinued and did not get permission to carry out any activities. From these data it can be categorized that UPTD PTK (plays less of a role) in increasing PAD.Keywords: Role, Technical Implementation Unit, Regional Original Income

Abstract

This research was carried out at Werisar University for the 2022/2023 academic year. The aim of this research is to determine (1) the relationship between learning anxiety and the science learning outcomes of PGSD students (2) the relationship between science literacy abilities and the science learning outcomes of PGSD students (3) analyzing the relationship between learning anxiety and science literacy abilities and the science learning outcomes of PGSD students. This type of research is comparative causal or ex post factor research which is correlational in nature. The research design used is a quantitative research design with two independent variables. Data sources were taken directly using instruments in the form of science learning anxiety questionnaires, scientific literacy ability tests and science learning outcomes tests. Data analysis techniques included descriptive analysis to see the level of anxiety and scientific literacy abilities as well as inferential analysis to test research hypotheses. Based on the results of data analysis in the first hypothesis, it shows a sig. (0.676) > α (0.05), then H0 is accepted, which means that there is no relationship between anxiety about studying physics and students' science learning outcomes. In the second hypothesis, the sig value. (0.002) < α (0.05), then H0 is rejected, which means that there is a relationship between scientific literacy abilities and students' science learning outcomes. Furthermore, the third hypothesis shows a significance value of 0.571 and 0.779 > α (0.05) so it can be concluded that there is a linear relationship between learning anxiety and student learning outcomes and scientific literacy abilities and science learning outcomes of PGSD students.

Abstract

Based on an initial survey of teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Ambon, it shows that there are indications of work stress symptoms which have an impact on teacher performance. This research aims to test and analyze the influence of work stress on the performance of teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Ambon. The analysis method used in this research is descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis. The results of the hypothesis test show that the Job Stress variable has a positive and significant influence on the performance of SMA 1 Ambon teachers. This can be proven by the results of a simple regression analysis test of variable Job Stress with Teacher Performance, and the R square value is 0.608 or around 60.8%. This means that the influence of the independent variable (Work Stress) on the dependent variable (Performance) is 60.8% while the remaining 39.2% is influenced by other variables which were not examined in this research. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the higher the work stress, the lower the teacher's performance. To overcome this, we must try to reduce teachers' work stress levels by paying attention to the symptoms of work stress on psychological, physical and behavioral indicators so that teacher performance increases.
