Historiography means the writing of history based on the critical examination of sources, the selection of particular details from the authentic materials in those sources, and the synthesis of those details into a narrative that stands the test of critical examination. Historiography studies cover chronologically various themes, such as local history, social history, cultural history, economic history, political history, military history, intellectual history, environmental history, and other historical studies. History of education is a study of the past that focuses on educational issues. These include education systems, institutions, theories, themes and other related phenomena in the past. History education includes studies of how history teaches in school or society, curriculum, educational values in events, figures, and historical heritage, media and sources of historical learning, history teachers, and studies of textbooks.

Abstract

Historical Education is a part of learning that examines the past that is examined based on the present. Universities have programs in the development of Historical Education for their students. Historical Field Lecture Program for students of Historical Education Study Program STKIP Lubrilinggau PGRI is a program that synergizes with compulsory courses for students. The program has the purpose of increasing the insight and knowledge of prospective history teachers on the studies taken by these students. But it cannot be abandoned that History Field Lecture is part of strengthening character education. Character education is a study in the 2013 curriculum that emphasizes attitudes in carrying out the teaching and learning process. Students who visit historical sites are expected to gain direct knowledge and insights from the objects they visit, and be able to absorb the knowledge gained from the field studies. The values of local wisdom contained in historical heritage are a reflection and action material to continue to develop and maintain high-value historical heritage. although the era of globalization will not eliminate the noble identity of the nation and who have good personality values for the progress of the nation. The results of the Historical Field Lecture visits by students of the STKIP History Education Study Program PGRI Lubuklinggau are expected that historical learning in the field can inspire students to learn more about the wider history. Apart from that, being able to absorb knowledge of historical heritage forms the character of good students, who are innovative, hard-working, and have global insight.

Abstract

The tragedy of the shooting of Trisakti students on Tuesday, May 12, 1998, then the killing of four students in the campus area made the entire campus community grieve and caused public outrage, so that not only the small community, but all of Indonesia demanded President Soeharto's resignation from leadership for 32 years has occupied. Massive demonstrations were taking place everywhere. Many students then came to Jakarta to call for the same demands. Until the occupation of the DPR / MPR RI building by students from various campuses. Seeing the increasing demands for resignation, President Soeharto at a meeting at the Presidential Palace said he refused to stop. However, with increasing demands from all over the country the resignation of President Soeharto, finally on May 21, 1998, it stopped, eight days after the Trisakti Tragedy. So great was the influence of the Trisakti Student Movement that Suharto laid down the position he had occupied for 32 years. The impact of the Trisakti Student Movement did not end there, changes in all fields of both social and government are the biggest impact of the 1998 Trisakti Student Movement. But the Trisakti Tragedy still leaves homework for us all. The investigation of the Trisakti case has not yet been completed and the party responsible for the case has not yet been tried. However, this will not stop Indonesian students from striving to call for the voice of the people.

Abstract

The work culture and work ethic in the countries of East Asia are certainly different from other countries in the world, where the purpose of research is to know:1. Ojigi's influence in the success of Japanese business in Japan.2. Knowing the cultural perspective and work ethic of the Chinese community. This study uses a qualitative method of library research methods and questionnaire methods taken from several businessmen from Japan and China who are in Indonesia.

Abstract

Nagori Rabuhit, located in Gunung Maligas Subdistrict, Simalungun Regency, which was formerly inhabited by Simalungun ethnic groups, became a Javanese ethnic settlement.. Therefore it is necessary to examine more deeply how the establishment of the Nagori Rabuhit government. This research uses historical research methods. The data collection techniques are carried out by: (1) observation, (2) interviews, (3) document studies and (4) literature studies. While the technique of data analysis researchers conducted: (1) heuristics, (2) verification, (3) interpretation and (4) historigraphy. The results of the research show that long before the 1960s the Nagori Rabuhit government was established, but it was an obstacle to determine since what year the government must have been established. This is because there is no written evidence found when it stood and who was the founder of the nagori. The results of the interview also did not show significant results because the interviewees also had not seen written evidence since when the Nagori Rabuhit was established. Along with the times, Nagori Rabuhit became an independent and developed village both in terms of ideology, politics, social, economic, cultural, defense and security. This was also encouraged by the existence of trasnmigran from Java which made Nagori Rabuhit rich in cultural values due to the acculturation process in Nagori.

Abstract

Indonesia and Malaysia are two neighboring countries which experienced ups and downs which initially experienced good relations especially when Malaysia gained independence from the United Kingdom on 31 August 1957 welcomed by Indonesia On 17 April 1959, Indonesia and Malaysia signed a friendship agreement. Relations between the two countries began to be disrupted, especially when differences in political ideology were lived. Relations were increasingly tense especially when Tunku Abdul Rahman tried to form a Malaysian federation consisting of Malaya, Singapore and Sarawak, which was declared on September 16, 1963. Since then the confrontation that began marked by the withdrawal of the Malaysian ambassador on January 30, 1963, and in the development of subsequently in the form of a ceasefire which began on 11 February 1963 and on 3 May 1964 President Sukarno announced the order "Dwikora" or Dwi Komando Rakyat ". This confrontation quickly ended due to changes in Indonesia's political map, especially after Singapore's departure from the Malayan federation and political change in Indonesia, especially after the G30S, and also the meetings of the two countries to resolve this confrontation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe Haji Misbach's thoughts on Islam and Communism in 1912-1926. Research methods use historical research by analysing sources related to Misbach's thinking. Misbach who juxtaposed between Communism and Islamic teachings had an impact on the emergence of the anti-capitalist movement, various widespread support to fight capitalism, and the independence of the bumiputra people. Haji Misbach made a new thing by raising propaganda through the mass media of Islamic Communism. Islam with Communism has some similarities, one of which is that both are very opposed to oppression and both also fight for freedom. On that basis, Hajj Misbach has the spirit of struggle for the privilege of human rights of workers based on Islam and with the tools of Communism to fight Dutch capitalism.

Abstract

The objectives of the study were (1) to analyze the learning process of class XI history; (2) determining the historical LKPD-based design of character values on the historical material of the Japanese Occupation in Indonesia; (3) to analyze the worth of LKPD history based on character values on the history material of the Japanese occupation in Indonesia. Research methods used research and development (R & D). Type of research is a development model adapted from research Sugiyono Level 1, (produce design but not test try). Stages of research starts from the needs analysis by collecting information through observation, interview. Continue to design the product. After generating the product draft validation is done by a team of experts ie design experts, material experts, history teachers and class XI student responses as users, then proceed with product revision, the revision is feasible to be tested. The results of the research are (1) historical learning tools compiled based on the revision of the 2013 curriculum, and learning resources used in the learning process of the Indonesian history package book, internet and the lack of character-based LKPD development; (2) LKPD is designed with character-based, (3) LKPD based character value development result validated by design expert phase 1 of 78.71%, stage 2 of 90% (14% increase). The result of validation by material expert of phase 1 is 85.71%, stage 2 is 100% (14.29% increase). and student responses of 95%. Validation results are categorized as "Very Eligible". Based on the validation results indicate that LKPD-based character value is feasible to be tested.
