Abstract

The settlements along the Lintang River in Aceh Tamiang as the target objects of policy products are only oriented towards the physical housing and environment. Improving their quality of life is neglected because policy products do not side with them. The geographical location of their residence which is vulnerable to natural disasters such as flooding which occurs almost every year has made it difficult for them to leave the riverbank settlement environment. As an approach, a study is needed to be oriented towards their quality of life as a reference for policy products that support improving their quality of life. The literature used to reveal the quality of life of riverbank settlers uses the idea of vita activa which consists of labor, work, and action. Meanwhile, the analytical literature uses the idea of dialectics in the realm of critical architecture on the relationship between the form of riverbank settlements and the way the residents live. The study uses qualitative methods to reveal the phenomenon of residents living based on observations and information from residents as critical architectural analysis units. Based on the analysis results, it was found that they are a low-income society with labor on standard mental and intellectual consumption, work that prioritizes energy performance over intellectual performance and expertise, and action characterizes kinship like tribal society groups that view ties based on social status. The products of the settler's environmental policy will not be sustainable due to the limitations of the quality of life that prioritizes survival over maintaining life

Abstract

From practical research, there are several references in academic ideas that contain thoughts to re-evaluate the shift in the treatment of mosques today compared to the Prophet's Mosque. The existence of mosques today practically prioritizes the provision of spiritual worship space capacity compared to social worship. So the architecture of the mosque as a place of worship that balances the relationship between humans and their God and the relationship between humans and humans is questioned. BKM as a generator of social reproduction of religious organizations that regulate the reality of mosque activities to improve the quality of the community becomes the object of analysis of architectural studies as the cause of the shift in treatment. Therefore, research was conducted through reference data from the Current Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque to analyze their performance through the idea of structuring in order to reveal the problem of the paradigm shift in the treatment of the Current Mosque. The dialectic of BKM performance is used to test the extent to which the treatment of the Mosque adapts fantasy and fantastic ideas in the realm of architecture. The current mosque is more oriented towards social reproduction that strengthens activities over the relationship between humans and God, while the Prophet's Mosque in social reproduction has a balance to strengthen activities over the relationship between humans and God and the relationship between humans and humans.

Abstract

Load maneuvering on the power distribution network can have a significant impact on voltage drops along the feeder, especially in distribution substations such as PT. PLN (Persero) Idi Substation. The analysis was carried out to examine the effect of load maneuver on voltage drops in several feeders at the substation. The data used included a single line diagram, daily load patterns, feeder cable lengths and the number of feeders analyzed. Using ETAP simulation software, this study evaluates the percentage drop in voltage during load manoeuvre operations to determine its conformity to operational standards. This analysis identifies critical feeders where voltage drops exceed the allowable threshold, and provides solutions to mitigate these problems, thus ensuring stable power supply and minimizing the risk of low voltage during the load transfer process. This study analyzes the voltage drop in the electricity distribution network at PT. PLN (Persero) Idi Substation using two methods, namely manual calculation and ETAP simulation. The results of the analysis show that the value of the voltage drop percentage from the manual calculation is 1.85%, while the results of the ETAP simulation show a value of 0.013%. This significant difference shows that the method that the simulation method is more accurate in modeling the conditions of the distribution network. As an effort to mitigate voltage drops in the electricity distribution network at PT. PLN (Persero) Idi Substation, an increase in transformer capacity was carried out. The capacity of power transformer 1 is increased from 20 MVA to 25 MVA and power transformer 2 from 30 MVA to 40 MVA. In addition, the size of the cable cross-section was also increased from 240 mm to 300 mm. These results can be used as a reference in network performance evaluation and decision-making for load maneuvering to ensure a more efficient and reliable distribution of electricity. Keywords: Load maneuver, voltage drop, ETAP simulation, mitigation efforts.

Abstract

Determining school majors at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) is an important process that must consider various factors such as academic grades, interests, and talents of students. However, the determination of the applicable majors still has problems due to several factors such as the environment or parents' requests so that the selection of students' majors is not in accordance with the abilities and talents of students. The selection of majors is also still done manually, so it is less efficient and takes a long time. This research aims to design and build a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) using the Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) method that is useful for helping schools determine majors that are in accordance with student abilities. This decision support system combines various criteria such as report card scores, academic test results, and practical skills to provide optimal majoring recommendations. The WASPAS method was chosen because of its ability to combine the Weighted Sum Model (WSM) and Weighted Product Model (WPM) methods, which results in more accurate calculations. The calculation test results show that the system built is able to provide major recommendations more quickly and effectively compared to the manual method. This system is expected to help schools in managing student majors more efficiently and objectively.

Abstract

In this paper, we forecast coffee production in Aceh Province, Indonesia, using the Seasonal Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (SARIMA) method. Coffee is a critical commodity for the region’s economy, contributing significantly to both local income and export revenues. Accurate forecasting of coffee production is essential for economic planning, supply chain management, and strategic development in the coffee sector. Using secondary data from the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics, we identified the SARIMA (2,0,1)(1,1,1)12 model as the best fit, with a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 12.94%. The forecasting results for the period of 2023 to 2024 reveal a consistent seasonal pattern in line with historical data, though a slight decline in production is projected. Notably, the lowest production of 22 tons occurred in February 2019, while the highest, 21,408 tons, was recorded in July 2019. These findings provide valuable insights for policymakers and stakeholders in the coffee industry, offering a robust basis for developing targeted interventions to enhance production and manage fluctuations. The results underscore the importance of reliable forecasting models like SARIMA in supporting sustainable growth and decision-making in regional agricultural sectors.

Abstract

Abstract In this paper, we present a comprehensive performance evaluation of the ARIMA (AutoRegressive Integrated Moving Average) model in forecasting rice production across Sumatera, Indonesia. Rice is a crucial staple crop, feeding more than half of the global population. In Sumatera, rice plays a vital role in food security, yet its cultivation is highly dependent on specific environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and rainfall. This study leverages historical time-series data from the years 2000 to 2020, collected from eight key provinces: Aceh, North Sumatera, West Sumatera, South Sumatera, Riau, Jambi, Bengkulu, and Lampung. The objective is to forecast rice production for the years 2021-2024 using the ARIMA method. Through rigorous model selection and evaluation, ARIMA (3,0,2) was identified as the most suitable model, providing accurate forecasts with a Mean Squared Error (MSE) of 0.0325 and a Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of 0.1445. These low error rates demonstrate the model’s capacity to capture the inherent fluctuations in rice production trends across Sumatera. The findings offer critical insights for future rice production trends and can guide policy-makers in formulating effective food security strategies. This research contributes significantly to the understanding of rice production dynamics and the application of ARIMA models in agricultural forecasting. Keywords: Rice production; Mean Squared Error; Mean Absolute Error; ARIMA; Sumatera.

Abstract

Steganography is a method of hiding information, which can be text, images, or videos, in a cover image, secret information is hidden in a way that is invisible to the eye. Steganography is designed to maintain hiding capacity while still considering security and insensitivity to steganalysis. One of the characteristics of steganography is robustness, which can maintain the information in it. So that robustness testing is very important in determining the effectiveness of the steganography algorithm used. This paper aims to test the resilience of information or messages hidden after inserting secret messages in stego images. In this study, the tests carried out include digital image manipulation and the process of sending stego image files. Various types of manipulation such as resizing, compression, and other visual effects. Then it will be explored to assess the extent to which the integrity of the message is maintained. This study resulted in tests carried out related to testing the storage capacity of the cover image greatly affecting each size, the process of sending stego images in PNG format on online media E-Mail, WhatsApp, and Telegram experienced changes in the size of the files received on each platform. However, the file extension does not change, which means there is no file format conversion on the three platforms. In terms of file size, there is a difference in file size on the three online media, but the difference does not affect the extraction of secret messages, which means the message extraction process is 100% successful. The digital image manipulation test carried out, namely crop, resize, brightness, rotate, and flip, most of the tests carried out failed in extracting text messages.
