Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between concern for the environment and the behavior of leaving food among angkringan consumers. There are two hypotheses proposed, namely: the first hypothesis is that there is a negative relationship between concern for the environment and food waste behavior. The second hypothesis is that there is a negative relationship between concern for the environment and the behavior of the amount of food waste produced. The research method used in this research is a quantitative method, with research subjects being 100 angkringan X consumers with the criteria for consumers who eat at angkringan, status (student or employee). Data collection was carried out by modifying the food waste behavior scale which has a reliability figure of 0.718 and a scale for the amount of waste produced. Meanwhile, the environmental concern scale has a reliability figure of 0.910. The data that has been analyzed shows that there is a negative relationship between concern for the environment and behavior of leaving food (r = -0.348, p = 0.000) and an effective contribution of 12.1%, the first hypothesis is accepted. Furthermore, the results show that there is a negative relationship between concern for the environment and the behavior of the amount of food waste produced (r = -0.300, p = 0.001) and an effective contribution of 9%, the second hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

Era globalisasi memberikan tantangan baru yang menyebabkan lunturnya nilai-nilai sosial dan meningkatnya sikap individualisme pada generasi muda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan penerapan nilai-nilai Pancasila terhadap perilaku sosial mahasiswa UNY angkatan 2025. Metode penelitian dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif metode deskriptif korelasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh item kuesioner valid dan reliabel, data tidak berdistribusi normal namun linear, sehingga digunakan metode Spearman’s Rho untuk uji korelasi serta terdapat hubungan positif kuat antara kedua variabel (r = 0.742, p < 0.001). Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penerapan nilai Pancasila untuk memperkuat perilaku sosial mahasiswa di era globalisasi.

Abstract

Contract employees are workers who have limited certainty regarding employment status and job continuity. This condition may lead to feelings of Job Insecurity, which potentially affect employees’ level of work commitment. This study aims to examine the relationship between Job Insecurity and work commitment among contract employees in digital marketing companies in Yogyakarta. The population of this study consisted of contract employees working in digital marketing companies in Yogyakarta. The research sample included 139 employees selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected using two instruments, namely the Job Insecurity Scale and the Work Commitment Scale. The data were analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The results showed a significant negative relationship between Job Insecurity and work commitment (r = -0.715; p = 0.000). The coefficient of determination (r²) of 51.1% indicates that Job Insecurity contributes 51.1% to work commitment. These findings suggest that the higher the level of Job Insecurity experienced by contract employees, the lower their work commitment, and vice versa. Based on these findings, companies are expected to minimize Job Insecurity through clear and supportive employment policies in order to enhance the work commitment of contract employees.
