Abstract

Quality of service to customers is very important as one of the business strategies. The service is expected to be able to serve the needs and desires of customers, and be able to become a benchmark to improve customer satisfaction to the company. Customer satisfaction will be the benefit of the company, creating customer loyalty.The research objectives of this research is to find out empirically about whether there is a relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction at Company X di Yogyakarta. This research uses quantitative research methods by collecting data using scale. Subjects in this research is the costumers of Company X di Yogyakarta. The data analysis technique used is the Product Moment correlation technique.Results showed that the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.312 with p= 0.006 (p <0.01). This means that there is a significant positive relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction with costumers of Company X di Yogyakarta. Conclusion of this research is that the relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction is proven to have a significant relationship

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the effects of organizational support to employees work discipline, (2) the effects of self-control on employees work discipline, (3) the effects of organizational support and self-control to employees work discipline at PT. X. This research uses quantitative methods. Sample in this study were 60 employees, who were determined using the product moment. Measuring instruments used organizational support scale, self-control scale, and work discipline scale. Analysis technique for testing the hypothesis uses multiple regression techniques.The results showed that: (1) there was a significant influence between organizational support on employee work discipline at PT. X as evidenced by a significance value of 0.001 (p <0.05), (2) there is a significant influence between self-control on employee work discipline at PT. X as evidenced by the significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05), (3) the simultaneous and significant influence between organizational support and self-control on employee work discipline at PT. X as evidenced by the F value of 22.941 with a significance of 0.000 (p <0.05).

Abstract

This study aims of this research is to find out the effect of team building training toward team’s cohesiveness in the marketing divisionof PTX. There are 24 Subjects of this research divided into two group consist of 12 people in theexperiment groups and 12 people in the control group using random assignment as sample collection technique with valid and reliable cohesiveness scale as data collection technique. The data analysis technique of this research was using Paired Sample T Test.The subjects of this study is marketing division’s employees of PT. X, aged between18-35 years with low and medium cohesiveness. The design of this research was using pretest posttest control group design. The comparative test was using Paired Sampel T Test to compare the difference toward experiment group before and after training obtained (t=8,210 and p = 0,000; p < 0,001). It means that there is distinctive cohesiveness score of the team before and after the team building training. Furthermore, the result of using Independent Sampel T Test to compare these experiment and control group is t = 4.386 and p = 0.000 (p<0.01), MD 48.50, 37.83). It means that the cohesiveness of experiment group is higher compared to control group after team building training.

Abstract

This Study aims to determine the differences in hedonic lifestyle trends between recipient and non recipients towards prosperity in SMA Negeri X Yogyakarta and to find out the tendency of hedonic lifestyle between recipient and non recipient card recipients towards prosperity in SMA negeri X Yogyakarta.This type of research is quantitative research using comparative causal approach. The Subjects of this study were students of class X, XI, and XII with KMS Recipient students and 30 KMS non-Recipients students. The Sampling tehnique used is cluster quota random sampling. Data measurement tool uses hedonic lifestyle scale, validity test uses construct validity, realibility test with a value of 0,912, data analysis uses t-test analysis techniques. The results of the different test (t-test) at the significancelevel of 5% obtained a value of P>0,05, which is 0,957.The results showed a significance value of 0,957, these results meant that there was no difference in the hedonic lifestyle tendencies between recipient and non-recipient students leading to prosperity at SMA Negeri X Yogyakarta.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether self-efficacy training can reduce burnout in nurses in X Bantul General Hospital Yogyakarta. The research subjects were 20 people, divided into the experimental group and the control group. Subject characteristics were male and female nurses with a minimum of 1 year of service, a maximum age of 40 years, having low and moderate self-efficacy and moderate and high burnout. The first research hypothesis, there were differences in burnout after being given self-efficacy training in the experimental group and the control group. The second research hypothesis, there were differences in burnout in the experimental group before and after being given self-efficacy training. The research instrument uses self-efficacy scale, burnout scale, observation, and interview. The results of U-Mann Whitney analysis found the Z post test value of -3.792 with p 0.000 (p <0.01), indicating the difference in burnout was very significant after being given self-efficacy training in the experimental group and the control group. The average burnout of the experimental group was lower (= 52.90) than the control group (= 99.0). Wilcoxon Range Test analysis results found the post test Z value of -2.810 with p 0.005 (p <0.01), showed a significant difference in burnout in the experimental group before and after being given self-efficacy training. The average burnout of the experimental group before being given self-efficacy training was higher (= 96.70) than after being given self-efficacy training (= 52.50).

Abstract

The purpose of this research to knowing relationship between democratic parenting and creativity on student of Art Vocational High School in Kasihan Bantul. The subjects of this researh is student of SMK N 3 Kasihan Bantul (SMSR), 15 to 18 years of ages amounting to 61 persons. Metodological research is using Figural Creativity Test and Democratic parenting scale. The analyze of the data in this reasearch is using Product Moment Correlation from Karl Pearson with spss 20 for windows. Based on correlation of the analysis is obtained rxy = -0,083 with p = 0,524. This suggest that there is no relation between democratic parenting and creativity on student of Art Vocational High School in Kasihan Bantul or SMKN 3 Kasihan Bantul.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of reproduction health education toward the reduction of premarital sexual behavior on adolescents. The research subjects were 34 subjects who were assigned into 2 groups; 17 subjects were experimental group while 17 subjects were there control group. The research design use the pretest-postest control group design. The data analysis use the U Mann Whitney to examine the score difference in the experimental and the control group and the Wilcoxon Rank Test to examine the score difference in the experimental group before and after treatment. Based on the data analysis by the U Mann Whitney, it is found that there is different level of premarital sexual behavior on the group which was exposed to the reproduction health education committed to the group that was not exposed proven by Z = -3.089 p = 0.002 (p<0.05).The premarital sexual behavior on the group which had the reproduction health education is lower than group are not given reproduction health education. The analysis by the Wilcoxon Rank Test found that there is different score in the premarital sexual behavior in the experimental group after it was given the reproduction health education proven by the score Z = -3.219 p = 0.001<0.05. This result indicates that there is significant difference in the premarital sexual behavior on the subjects before and after the reproduction health education was given. The level of premarital sexual behavior after given reproduction health education is lower compared to before given reproduction health education.

Abstract

This study aims to explore consumer’s decision-making process in buying house (permanent residence building), based on pro-environmental reasons. It is a rare research since most of research on house consumer behavior revealed that price and location were the most important reasons in buying house rather than pro-environment reason. This is a qualitative research and 2 female owners (wives) participated in this research. They have already lived in that real estate developed by the X house enterprise for 4 months. This research revealed that those consumers have 5 stages in making a decision i.e. able to identify their needs, able to seek relevant information, able to make alternative evaluation, purchasing decision, and post-purchase behavior. It was also revealedseveral points: (1) the second subject is more likely to be an impulsive consumer since the process of decision making was only 4 days compare to 1 month for the first subject. It was occurred that the second subject was more likely depression because of conflict with her mother in law. (2) The first subject was more likely to have environmental sensitivity than the second subject. It was reflected from her favor on a friendly environment septic tank.

Abstract

Organizational commitment in political parties is the most important element to support the achievement of political parties. Therefore, in maintaining the stability and achievement of political parties, organizational commitment to party members is important to be maintained and enhanced. This study aims to determine the increase in organizational commitment through career development training. Career development training consists of two aspects, namely career planning and career management. This career development training has seven sessions namely self assessment, Exploring opportunities, making decisions and goal settings, planning for the achievement of achievement goals and career management. Characteristics of the subjects of this study are party administrators who have a low and medium category of organizational commitment. The design used is the Pretest-Posttest Control Group. The hypothesis of this study is that there are differences in organizational commitment among party cadres between before and after career development training. Then in the second hypothesis, there is a difference in the level of posttest organizational commitment between the experimental group and the control group. While the data analysis uses the Mann Whitney test and the Wilcoxon test. Experimental results based on the Mann Whitney test found Z = -3,585 (p <0.01), meaning that there was a difference in posttest scores between the experimental group that was given training and the control group that was not given training, meaning the hypothesis (1) was accepted. Based on the Wilcoxon test it was found there was a difference between the organizational commitment score in the experimental group between before and after being given career development training with Z = -1836 (p <0.01) meaning the hypothesis (2) was accepted.

Abstract

The purposes of this research is to find out the relationship between positive perceptions and consumer expectations with customer service satisfaction on curtain shoppers in X Gallery Yogyakarta. Subject of this research is X’s consumer who bought curtain. The research uses service satisfaction scale, positive perceptions scale and consumer expectations scale to analyze the relationship between positive perceptions and consumer expectation on customer service satisfaction. The research methodology was carried out in a survey applied to 30 respondents for trial and 30 respondents for the research. The data obtained was analyzed by using validity and reliability method, and regression. Result of research showed that positive perceptions and consumer expectations have positive impact and are significant in building customer service satisfaction on X’s consumer. Based on result of regression analyzed method, the significant value is 0.001 < 0.05. Finding of this empirical research prove the point of view that positive perceptions and consumer expectations are crucial for customer service satisfaction.
