<![CDATA[Schizophrenia is a brain disorder that has problems with social functioning, self-care, and difficulty to distinguishing the real world and the imaginary one. This study aims to specify the personality dynamics of people with schizophrenia. In addition, researchers also identified the factors that affect schizophrenia. This research uses case study and qualitative methods with one participant. The participant is a patient diagnosed with schizophrenia at Mental Hospital X. This research is equipped with data from interviews, observations, and several psychological test tools to enrich the research results. The results showed that the conditions and experiences that the participant went through from childhood to adulthood influenced the formation of schizophrenia. Furthermore, there are external factors and internal factors that affect the formation of schizophrenia in the study participants.]]>

<![CDATA[Objective of this study is to explore the relationship between conformity and cohesiveness levels among adolesence boys. Those boys are member of a motorcycle modification community. It is likely a street boy gang. Their acitivities mostly are night illegally racing, touring and modificating their motorcycles. Indeed, modificating motorcycles are very expensive since they expect their motorcycles have amazing appearance. They do not have much money; therefore they have to become cohessive with other members. Their assistant to each other includes some parts of the motorcycles. And therefore, modificating their motorcycles would be much cheaper and easier. Underlying cohessive behavior is to conform. The boys’ conform behavior relates to their cohessive behavior (r = .588, p=.00).]]>

<![CDATA[Football is a very popular sport in the world. Most of people tend to glorify their own football team. Those supporters are more likely fanatic. They tend to obtrude aggressively that their football team should win in every competition. When their team loses in a competition, the supporters tend to be angry. They are unable to accept that their team could be lost in a game. As a result they attack every object to discharge their aggressiveness. They are hooligan. In order to muffle their aggressiveness, an obeyed supporter coordinator is urgently needed. This qualitative research attempts to explore the coordinator role in muffling those supporters. Two coordinators and two supporters participated in this research. They are from the blue face and the blue capital supporter clubs. The interview list is conducted base on 6 aspects i.e. supporter’s expectation, norm, performance, evaluation sanction and power. This research revealed that a coordinator’s instruction will be obeyed when he or she is a wise model and able to display good behaviors. The coordinator’s advices have also been complied since he or she is good in influencing those supporters. Because of this thoughtful coordinator, the supporters’ aggressiveness can be handled well. ]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between democratic parenting and social interaction in teenagers using smartphones in SMAN X Yogyakarta. This research method uses quantitative research methods with data collection using a scale that is the scale of social interaction and the scale of democratic parenting. The subjects in this study were adolescents between the ages of 15 and 18, totaling 107 students consisting of 4 classes. Analysis of the data used was the product moment correlation technique from Pearson. The results of the analysis show that the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.639 with p = 0.000 (p <0.01), which means there is a significant positive relationship between democratic parenting and social interaction in adolescents using smartphones. So that it can be concluded that democratic parenting affects social interactions in adolescents who use smartphones, the higher the level of democratic parenting parents, the higher the social interaction of teenagers who use smartphones, and vice versa. The effective contribution of democratic parenting with social interaction is 40.83%.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between work interest and job satisfaction in employee of Perusahaan X Yogyakarta. This study uses a quantitative method that analyzes using non-parametric statistical analysis of Carl Pearson correlation. In determining the number of sample, researchers used cluster random sampling. The sample of this study is 70 employees in Perusahaan X Yogyakarta. Research data collection uses the scale of work interest and job satisfaction. The work interest has a value of cronbach alpha (α) 0.938 with 40 valid items and job satisfaction has a value of cronbach alpha (α) 0.956 with 36 valid items.Based on the results of statistical test, this study obtained a negative correlation coefficient (rxy) 0.628 with a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.01), this shows that there is a significant positive relationship between work interest and job satisfaction. That means, the positive work interest, the job satisfaction improve. The average of the work interest of the subjects is in the positive category and job satisfaction of the subjects in the higher category. The effective contribution of work interest to job satisfaction is 62.8% whilst 37.2% is contributed by other factors outside of this research. ]]>

<![CDATA[Identifying high or low of employee’s achievement motivation is very important to an organization. This is due to the organization's goals will be more easily achieved in employees who are more likely to make a harder effort to be able to produce better results, and have a desire for success higher than other employees. The aim of this research is to adapt Manifest Need Questionnaire (MNQ), as a tools to measure employee’s achievement motivation in work setting. Adapting MNQ that made in America is very necessary, because instrument to measure employee’s achievement motivation in work settings in Indonesia is still rare. In this research, adapting MNQ is done through three steps, that is initial translation, checking, and back translation. With that adaptation process, MNQ has been adapted into Indonesian culture. It means that MNQ in English version has been translated and adjusted its meaning and context with Indonesian language and culture.]]>

<![CDATA[Subjective Well Being (SWB) is a subjective assessment of one's life experience, which consists of a cognitive evaluation of satisfaction with life, happiness, peace, fulfillment of needs and affective assessment of positive and negative emotions. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a series of activities arranged and planned in the form of social responsibility from an organization or company as a form of contribution and directed to (internal) and external (external) to the company. Aims: This study aims to determine the relationship between the perceptions of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program with Subjective Well Being (SWB) in the community in the X Village of Yogyakarta. Method of this study is to use quantitative method. The subjects in this study were the communities around companies affected by CSR programs. Sampling is done by using conventional sampling (convenience sampling). The validity used is construct validity with the calculation of Product Moment Correlation developed by Karl Pearson with the help of SPSS. The results of this study are that there is a positive relationship between corporate social responsibility and Subjective Well Being can be accepted. This is indicated by the value of rxy 0.570 with a significance level obtained p = 0,000 <001.The existence of a very significant positive relationship between Corporate social responsibility and Subjective Well Being can be accepted. This means that the higher the value of the corporate social responsibility program, the higher the Subjective Well Being. Conversely the lower the value of the corporate social responsibility program, the lower the Subjective Well Being.]]>

<![CDATA[Validation process psycometrically on a measuring instrument which adapted to difference culture from the original version is an absolute necessity in order its application can be more accurate. The aim of this research is validating psycometrically on Manifest Need Questionnaire (MNQ) as a instrument to measure employee’s achievement motivation in work setting that adapted from American language and culture to Indonesian language and culture. The method used in this research is Multitrait-Multimethod. Validation consisted by constract validity (convergent-discriminant) and internal consistency reliability (alpha-cronbach). Multitrait-multimethod matrix was used on the analysis to identify convergent-discriminant validity (including three comparative scale: Multidimensional Work Motivation Scale, Transgression-Related Interpersonal Motivation, dan Forgiveness Scale). <![CDATA[Living with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) is causing the patients to feel depressed, struggle with problems including physical, psychological, social economy and family. 20-30% of ESRD patients are experiencing depression. Eclectic counseling is one of method to decrease depression. This research aims to understand the effect of eclectic counseling on depression. There were three ESRD patients with depression in Internal Medicine and Hemodialysis Department in X Hospital Semarang. This research was conducted using simgle case pre-experimental design. The data were collected through eclectic counselling module and HRSD (Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression) scale. The data were not normally distributed, thus wilcoxon sign rank testwas chosen as data analysis method. The result showed there were significant difference of depression level in ESRD patients. Depression level were lower after the counseling compared to before counseling. Eclectic counseling has a significant contribution to reduce depression level of ESRD patients on dyalisis in X Hospital Semarang.]]>
