<![CDATA[This study aims to improve students’ interest in learning in the subject of Islamic Cultural History (SKI) in class VII B MTsN 4 Karawang through the application of the Relay method. The main problem found is the low interest in learning of students, which causes them to tend to be passive and do not understand the material. By using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach carried out in two cycles, this method aims to create a more active and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Students are divided into several groups and take turns answering questions, so that all students are involved and motivated. The results of the study showed a significant increase in interest in learning between the first and second cycles. In the first cycle, the average student interest in learning was at 67.5%, and increased to 88.75% in the second cycle. This proves that the application of the Relay Method is effective in increasing enthusiasm, cooperation, sense of responsibility, and student activity during learning.]]>

<![CDATA[This research examines the issue of interfaith marriage in the context of religious moderation in Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative method with a library research approach. Based on Dukcapil data from 2022, 34.6 million couples were recorded as "unregistered marriages" due to interfaith marriages. showing strong tension due to the presence of regulations and religious doctrines that tend to be exclusive. By comparing the perspectives of Islam, Catholicism, and Hinduism, it was found that there are differences in doctrinal limitations regarding interfaith marriage practices. This shows how complex the relationship is between social structures and religious teachings in marriage. Moreover, this research found that there is a contradiction between the dominant interpretation of marriage law based on religious beliefs and the constitutional right to form a family (Article 28B paragraph 1 of the 1945 Constitution). As a solution, the paradigm of religious moderation is offered. This paradigm emphasizes justice, love, and tolerance as the fundamental principles of inclusive marriage. This study suggests changes to the legal and theological framework to adapt to a multicultural society.]]>

<![CDATA[This study discusses strategies for creating and enhancing religious life in schools as a means of shaping students’ moral character in the face of globalization. Despite the implementation of various religious programs, challenges such as low student participation, lack of teacher role models, and negative social and technological influences persist. The aim of this study is to formulate comprehensive and adaptive strategies to foster a religious atmosphere in schools. The research employs a qualitative method with a library research approach through content analysis of educational and religious literature. The findings indicate that religious life in schools can be strengthened through the integration of religious values into the curriculum, the development of a religious school culture, reinforcement of religious extracurricular activities, active roles of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers, involvement of parents and communities, wise use of technology, and ongoing evaluation. This study offers practical and applicable strategies to build a school environment that supports students’ holistic spiritual development.]]>

<![CDATA[This article discusses the important role of guidance and counseling in supporting the development of students through ethical and professional psychological assessments. Guidance and counseling aim to help individuals develop their potential, overcome problems, and improve their quality of life. Psychological assessment becomes a crucial component in this process, requiring attention to ethical aspects, confidentiality, and the competence of the counselor. The use of psychological tests must adhere to the ethical codes established by professional associations, such as ABKIN and HIMPSI, to ensure that counselors possess adequate skills in using assessment instruments. This article also identifies challenges in maintaining objectivity in assessments, such as subjective bias and environmental pressure, and offers effective solutions, including professional training and team collaboration. By applying ethical principles and competencies, guidance and counseling can provide quality services, protect the rights and welfare of students, and contribute to the development of individuals and society as a whole.]]>

<![CDATA[This study discusses the importance of Guidance and Counseling (BK) activities in schools, which must be carried out by competent BK teachers or counselors. Referring to the Ministry of Education and Culture Regulation No. 111 of 2014, the presence of trained BK teachers is vital in helping students overcome academic and emotional challenges. This research aims to explore the practices of BK teachers in maintaining the confidentiality and objectivity of psychological assessment results, as well as to identify the obstacles they face. The method used is qualitative research through literature review, with data collection conducted purposively and using snowball techniques. The results indicate that ethical principles such as confidentiality, voluntariness, and openness are applied by BK teachers at school, creating a safe environment for students. However, BK teachers with non-BK educational backgrounds still have limited understanding of the code of ethics. These findings emphasize the need for enhancing BK teachers' competencies to provide more effective services in shaping students' ethics and morals and supporting their character development.]]>

<![CDATA[This article examines the roles and applications of various types of psychological tests in personality assessment, particularly contrasting projective tests with objective tests. Psychological tests are not intended to determine pass or fail outcomes, but rather to gain a deep understanding of an individual’s psychological aspects. Projective tests, such as the Rorschach Inkblot Test and the Thematic Apperception Test (TAT), are utilized to reveal latent personality traits through ambiguous stimuli. In contrast, objective tests like the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) and the Edwards Personal Preference Schedule (EPPS) are designed to produce consistent and quantifiable data. This study employed a library research method, reviewing both primary and secondary sources to provide a comprehensive overview. In counseling practice, the choice of psychological test depends on the assessment goals and the client's conditions. The article emphasizes the necessity for professional competence and ethical considerations, including cultural sensitivity and the ability to accurately interpret test results.]]>

<![CDATA[This article aims to explore ways to optimize counseling services through the utilization of psychological assessments. Psychological assessments are essential tools that can assist counselors in understanding the characteristics, needs, and issues faced by clients. By employing various valid and reliable assessment instruments, counselors can more accurately identify problems and design more effective interventions. Research indicates that appropriate assessments not only enhance the effectiveness of therapy but also expedite the recovery process for clients. Additionally, this article discusses the challenges faced in the implementation of psychological assessments in Indonesia, such as the lack of training for counselors and limited access to quality assessment tools. Recommendations for improving psychological assessment practices in counseling services are also presented, including the need for ongoing training for counselors and the development of assessment tools that are culturally relevant to the Indonesian context. Thus, the optimal utilization of psychological assessments is expected to improve the quality of counseling services and support the psychological well-being of individuals.]]>

<![CDATA[Psychological assessment in guidance and counseling (GC) plays a vital role in understanding students holistically. However, its implementation in schools often faces ethical and legal challenges, particularly concerning the authority and competence of school counselors. This article examines the ethical representation of psychological assessments conducted by GC teachers through a literature review. Findings reveal that many practices exceed legal boundaries and highlight the need for professional collaboration, assessment training, and ethical literacy. Ethical assessment is not merely procedural compliance, but a form of professional responsibility to protect students’ rights and ensure accurate and safe services.]]>

<![CDATA[This research will explain the role of the Village Consultative Body as a Local Democracy that occurs in Umaklaran Village. Through a Village democratization approach and analyzing the democratic role of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in the dynamics of governance in the Village with its existence as a Village Democracy institution, in Umaklaran Village, East Tasifeto District, Belu Regency. In this research, to explain the role and analyze the role of the Village Consultative Body in the dynamics of village governance using the theory of Role and Democracy. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, and data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation and documentation studies. In this research it can be illustrated that the role of the BPD as a democratic institution in Umaklaran Village, East Tasifeto sub-district, Belu Regency, is still not working well or is not optimal, this is based on the minimal knowledge and low educational background of the BPD itself, apart from that disharmony in the relationship between the BPD and the village government. So the democratization process in Umaklaran Village has not gone well to date.]]>
