Abstract

This study aims to analyse creative learning collaboration in improving cognitive literacy in early childhood students. The study uses a qualitative approach of case study type, where researchers try to reveal the meaning of creative learning in improving children's cognitive literacy. Data were collected through interviews, observations and documentation. Data analysis was done through data display, reduction, and conclusion drawing. The study results indicate that the increase in cognitive literacy in early childhood occurs due to the collaboration of teachers and children in project-based learning, the active role of parents in supporting learning at home, the use of creative media and teaching aids together, and interdisciplinary and contextual learning. This study provides implications about early childhood cognitive literacy, requiring a collaborative, contextual, and innovative learning approach and active support from parents. Other PAUD institutions can adopt this model as an effective strategy to holistically develop children's thinking skills from an early age.

Abstract

This study aimed to assess the impact of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on Qur'anic memorization among junior secondary school students. The approach used was quantitative with a survey method. The research subjects consisted of 103 students participating in the tahfidz program, each of whom had memorized at least one juz. The instrument used was a Likert-scale questionnaire to measure emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence, and memory ability. Data analysis was conducted with multiple linear regression. The results of the F test show that emotional and spiritual intelligence together have a significant effect on the ability to remember the Qur'an. The partial t-test also showed that both variables had a significant effect with a p-value < 0.05. This finding confirms that emotional aspects such as self-control and motivation, as well as spiritual aspects such as closeness to God and meaning of life, contribute to students' success in memorizing the Qur'an. The coefficient of determination of 50.2% indicates that the two variables together explain more than half of the variation in memorization ability. Therefore, it is important to improve spiritual and emotional intelligence in a balanced manner to support optimal memorization results, as well as emphasize the importance of a holistic approach in teaching tahfidz.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of utilizing a shared Google Drive based on Belajar.ID account on improving teacher performance. The background of this study is the need to improve teachers' digital competence as part of a technology-based educational transformation. With the increasing development of digital technology, educational institutions must utilize various digital platforms to improve the quality of learning and teacher performance. This study uses a qualitative case study approach by collecting data through in-depth interviews with principals, teachers, and administrative staff and direct observation of shared Google Drive in two early childhood education institutions. The research findings show that the use of shared Google Drive facilitates administrative efficiency and encourages collaboration, knowledge sharing, and increased digital literacy among teachers. Institutional policy support, including regular training and leadership encouragement, plays an important role in ensuring the sustainability of this digital transformation. In practice, the findings of this study suggest that integrating cloud-based technology within a structured policy framework can significantly contribute to teachers' ongoing professional development.

Abstract

Educational supervision plays a crucial role in maintaining teaching quality and ensuring compliance with academic standards. However, overseas Indonesian schools often receive less intensive supervision compared to domestic institutions. This study explores the supervision and control functions within the educational management system at Sekolah Indonesia Luar Negeri (SILN) Jeddah. Using a qualitative field research design, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis to examine the implementation of supervisory practices. The findings reveal that while the supervision system at SILN Jeddah is relatively structured and functional, limited teacher availability due to workload presents significant challenges. In response, the school has integrated digital tools such as video-based supervision and online meetings, enhancing efficiency and flexibility in supervision. This study contributes to the field of educational management by highlighting the potential of technology-driven supervision in international school contexts and emphasizing the importance of adaptive leadership. The results suggest that digital innovation in supervision can help improve teacher performance and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah's educational renewal movement is a dynamic response to the development of the times and the needs of the community, especially in facing global challenges in the digital era. In an effort to integrate Islamic values with advances in technology and information, Muhammadiyah continues to innovate in systems, curriculum, and learning methods. However, the reality in the field shows that this renewal process still faces various obstacles. One of them is the low achievement of learning outcomes, where around 50% of Muhammadiyah high school students have not achieved the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) set. This phenomenon reflects the gap between the vision of progressive education and actual implementation in schools. The study used a qualitative method with a Research & Development (R&D) approach. This study aims to analyze Muhammadiyah's educational renewal strategy in integrating Islamic values and responding to global challenges, as well as evaluating the factors that cause low student academic achievement. These findings are expected to contribute to strengthening the Muhammadiyah education model that is holistic, adaptive to the digital era, and oriented towards the character and achievements of students.

Abstract

The transformation of digital culture has influenced traditional methods of delivering and internalizing the values of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in schools. This change presents both challenges and opportunities in shaping students' spiritual understanding amidst the flood of digital information. This article aims to analyze the dynamics of integrating PAI values within the digital culture in school environments using a sociological approach. The research method employed is a qualitative-descriptive study based on a literature review, focusing on the analysis of literature related to the interaction between students, teachers, and the digital environment in religious education. The main findings show that synergy between teachers, families, and school communities is crucial in shaping a value ecosystem that adapts to digital developments. Digital spirituality can be strengthened if supported by solid religious literacy, value-based educational policies, and a reflective school culture. This article recommends integrating religious-digital literacy, enhancing PAI teacher competence, and designing contextual curricula to address the challenges of the digital era. This study contributes by offering strategies to optimize religious education in the digital world, and opens the door for further research on the influence of technology on religious education.
