Abstract

North Bengkulu Regency composed of the lowland in the coastal periphery with beautiful coast and the plateau around protected area of Bukit Barisan. The seashore and coastal area unfold as long as region has the big biological resources to be renewed. The mountain ridge area has agricultural produce and forest which the potential to support development of region. Economic analysis of region indicate that economics North Bengkulu District increasing from 4,82 becoming 5,55 percent per year. Manufacturing industries sector, mining and Quarrying sector, Trade; hotel, and restaurant sector, Agricultural sector, Electricity, gas and water supply sector; and also Transportation and communications sector grow up more than 5 percent. AGROMARINE-POLITAN Concept is one of approach to be reference of the regional economic expansion in North Bengkulu Regency. The Implementation of Agromarine-politan required the policy support and strategy development from various sector. There are tourism, agriculture, fishery, transportation, forestry, environmental, manpower and transmigration

Abstract

Indonesia dengan proses alamnya yang dinamis telah membuat wilayahnya memiliki beragam morphologi. Morfologi terjal, lapisan batuan, jenis tanah dan tingginya curah hujan dalam hal ini Banjarnegara, Jawa Tengah telah menjadikan wilayahnya rentan terhadap gerakan tanah. Gerakan tanah tidak hanya dapat menimbulkan korban jiwa, tetapi juga dapat merusak banyak fasilitas umum secara berulang. Hal ini juga terjadi pada ruas jalan pada jalan yang menghubungkan Kota Banjarnegara dengan PLTA Tulis. Penulis tertarik dengan fenomena ini dan mencoba melakukan kajian kestabilan lereng selama 3 bulan (September sampai Desember). Kajian dilakukan melalui pengamatan beberapa patok pantau untuk mengetahui pola gerak lerengnya. Dengan mengetahui arah da kecepatan pergerakan lereng, ditambah dengan informasi jenis batuan, tanah, topografi detail dan tutupan tumbuhannya, penulis dapat menentukan beberapa upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kestabilan lereng disekitar ruas jalan.

Abstract

Identification of somatic hybridization is one of the important steps to cope with that fusion and migration of gene to be analyzed. Therefore, following fusion various approaches have been used to identify hybrid materials. Putative somatic hybridsmay be confirmed and characterized in a number of ways, depending upon the characteristics of the parental materials. Both characterization and identification methods are discussed in this paper.

Abstract

To find out the cause of poor performance of SMEs metal automotive components in Java, author mapping “Customer Relationship Marketing, Suppliers Collaboration, Firm Resources, Competitive Advantage, Performance Marketing (a survey of SMEs metal automotive components in Java). "This study used 221 respondents SMEs metal automotive components in Java with cluster random sampling method and usingdescriptive analysis for qualitative variables. SMEs metal automotive components in the Java able to build relationship marketing with customers. The best form of customer Relationship marketing is the interaction of technical draw information, while the less good is the product creation process of technical assistance. SMEs metal automotive components are able to build collaboration with suppliers. The best form of suppliers collaboration is information of specification and amount of raw materials, while the less one is the raw material of knowledge transfer. Firm resources owned by SMEs metal automotive components in Java is strong enough. The resources of the most powerful companies are experienced human use of existing machinery and equipment, while theweakest are the royalty payments from its findings. SMEs metal utomotive components capable of creating competitive advantage. The best element of competitive advantage is able to achieve rapid delivery times, while that have not been able to achieve is to reduce the price of the product through increased labor productivity. SMEs metal automotive components, although able to improve marketing performance, but sales growth is still low and relatively small profit margins, and customer growth is still low.

Abstract

Carrageenan are natural hydrocolloids which are used as gelling agent, suspending agent, emulsifier and stabilizer. Carrageenan was extracted from Eucheuma cottonii andEucheuma spinosum seaweed species. There are three types of carragenan that commonly found that are kappa, iota and lamda carrageenan. Semi-refined carrageenan (SRC) is a seaweed flour that must be extracted to recover refined carrageenan, it is expected has ability to subtitute the function of refined carrageenan so that it could economize the using of refined carrageenan. However the price of SRC is cheaper thanrefined carrageenan. Firstly this research determined the type of SRC that could be used as stabilizer in ice cream products. That compare between kappa,iota and combination of kappa-iota SRC. Ice cream is made by blend all ingredients needed with hot water (70 – 80 0C) than homogenized using mixer at high speed in 10 minutes than the formula readyto evaluate. The evaluating include pH, overrum, density, rate the sedimentation, air particle size and melting quality. The next experiment conducted to find out the better result from the selected concentration. From the experiment we conclude that kappa SRC permitted as stabilizer in ice cream at concentration 0,0168 %.

Abstract

Penghambat alfa amilase adalah salah satu komponen dalam suplemen makanan yang telah lama digunakan untuk terapi kegemukan karena penghambat amilase mempengaruhi metabolisme karbohidrat dalam sistem pencernaan. Sejumlah peneliti melaporkan terdapat dua grup penghambat amilase, yaitu protein dan non protein. Penghambat protein dilaporkan terdapat dalam kelompok kacang-kacangan dan biji-bijian. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengisolasi penghambat protein yang terdapat dalam kacang hijau dan kedele. Kacang hijau dan kedele merupakan kacang-kacangan yang penting dalam makanan popular di Indonesia. Penghambat protein diendapkan dengan konsentrasi bertingkat garam ammonium sulfat [(NH)4SO4] dari 30-70%. Penghambat protein diuji terhadap amilase saliva manusia (HSA) danamilase pankreas babi (PPA), serta kestabilannya terhadap pemanasan pada 100oC selama 30 menit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua endapan jenuh dari semua konsentrasi amonium sulfat yang diuji menghambat PPA, tetapi tidak semua endapan jenuh tersebut dapatmenghambat HSA. Hanya semua endapan jenuh (NH)4SO4 dari kacang hijau yang dapat menghambat HSA, dan penghambatan tertinggi terhadap HSA adalah endapan jenuh (NH)4SO4 50%. Endapan jenuh (NH)4SO4 40 % dari kedele putih dan endapan jenuh (NH)4SO4 60% dari kedele hitam dengan masing-masing penghambatan 98.67; 26.86 and27.63%. Endapan jenuh (NH)4SO4 60-70% dari kacang hijau, 50% dari kedele putih dan 50% dari kedele hitam menghambat PPA 100%. Pemanasan penghambat pada 100oC selama 30 menit hampir tidak mempengaruhi penghambatannya terhadap PPA. Profil protein juga diamati menggunakan analisis SDS/PAGE.

Abstract

Jatropha Curcas oil as non edible oil is one alternative part of solution for subsitution fosilfuel becoming a great potential biofuel raw material wich recently very popular and seems to be very promising as a future fuel. The plant can be grown on very poor soils and gives a high everage yield of seeds. The JatrophaCurcas.L plantations can be developed to remote area (villages) as a monoculture or tumpangsari (multiple crops). Energi Technology Center (B2TE), BPPT and Ministry of Research and Technology has design and built an 3 x 6 tonnes sheeds/day Jatropha Curcas pilot plant in Ogan Komering Timur (OKUT), South Sumatera. The plant can be processing 18 ton/day seeds, to be coverred 1500 Ha Jatropha curcas plantitions and Pure Jatropha Oil production (PJO) is around 5900 – 6200 liters/day or 2.094.500 – 2.165.500 litters/year.

Abstract

Dadih is one of the traditional fermented milk products of West Sumatera. Dadih contain a lot of lactic acid bacteria that acts as a coagulant and preservative. Some lactic acid bacteria also act as a probiotic agent because of characteristics that are resistant to acidic conditions. Some of the main requirements of microbes that can be used as probiotic microbes were resistant to low pH, bile salts, able to colonize, and having antimicrobial activity. Each species of the genus Lactobacillus havedifferent characteristics. This characteristic are influenced by the environment in which the bacteria live. Isolation, identification and characterization of lactic acid bacteria derived from buffalo milk were done. The results of isolated lactic acid bacteria was Lactobacillus plantarum. The characterization of Lactobacillus plantarum indicated that these isolates were able to survive in a concentration of medium containing 0.5% bile salts, resistant to acidic media until pH 2, have antimicrobial activity (inhibit Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Enterococcus faecalis).

Abstract

The objectives of this research were (1) to analyse determinants of the influencing factors of the Indonesian Estate State-owned enterprises’ executive compensations; and (2) to analyse the relationship between compensation executive and firm performances. Statistical methods used for analysing these objectives were Structural Equation Model (SEM), contingency analysis, regresion analysis and qualitative analysis. The study found out that from all identified variables, executive decision mechanism, job complexity, firm size, firm ability to pay compensation, and product diversification and market expansionhad positive correlation and significant influenced to executive compensation. Human capital, business risk, executive employment market had significant correlations to executive compensation. The research had also shown a result that executive compensation provide positive correlation and significant influence towards financial performance (EBIT), customer performance (sales volume, output price, market area), internal process performance (OER target, OER realisation), and growth and learning performance (number of training investment, number of employees participated intraining). However, executive compensation did not give positive correlation and significant influenced towards financial performance (ROE) and customer performance(market share). This research also showed that direction of executive compensation was heading to company’s performance and not the opposite way.

Abstract

Landslides have occurred in various places in Indonesia. Likewise with West Java, there were many regions that has experienced repeated landslides. Having many experience of occurrences of landslides, we should have had a good landslide risk reduction program. Indeed, the incidence of landslides depends on many variables. Due to that condition, it may that a region would have different variable with another region. So it is impossible to generalize the implementation of a mitigation technology for all areas prone to landslides. Research of the Cililin's landslide is to anticipate the next disasters that may happen in around the area of 2013 Cililin Landslide. Through observation lithological conditions, water condition, land cover and landscape, as well as consideration of wide dimension of the building footing, the distance of building to the slopes and so forth, it has been determined some efforts of disaster risk reduction in the area around the landslide against the occurrence of potential landslide in the future.Bencana tanah longsor telah terjadi di berbagai tempat di Indonesia. Demikian halnya dengan Jawa Barat, tidak sedikit daerahnya telah berulang kali mengalami longsor. Seharusnya dengan telah banyaknya kejadian longsor, kita mampu mengupayakan program penurunan risiko longsor secara baik. Memang kejadian longsor bergantung pada banyak variabel, dimana dari satu daerah dengan daerah yang lain akan sangat memungkinkan mempunyai variabel yang berbeda, sehingga tidak mungkin kita membuat generalisasi penerapan suatu teknologi mitigasinya untuk semua daerah rawan longsor. Penelitian longsor di Cililin dilakukan untuk mengantisipasi terjadinya bencana di sekitar daerah Longsor Cililin 2013 yang lalu. Melalui pengamatan kondisi litologi, keairan, tutupan lahan dan bentang alam yang ada, serta pertimbangan akan dimensi luas pijakan bangunan, jarak batas bangunan dengan lereng dan lain sebagainya, telah ditentukan beberapa upaya penurunan risiko bencana di daerah sekitar longsor terhadap potensi kejadian longsor dimasa mendatang.Keywords: Landslide, risk reduction, footing of building, Cililin
