Abstract

General background: Indonesia’s rapid economic growth has intensified business competition, particularly through the increasing use of digital marketing strategies. Specific background: This environment has contributed to the rise of black campaign practices, which not only damage business reputations but also cause substantial material and immaterial losses, while regulatory clarity remains limited. Knowledge gap: Existing studies rarely examine black campaigns as a form of unfair business competition within the framework of unlawful acts under Article 1365 of the Indonesian Civil Code. Aim: This study analyzes whether black campaign practices fulfill the elements of an unlawful act—namely the existence of an act, illegality, fault, losses, and causal relationship—thereby establishing grounds for civil liability. Results: The findings demonstrate that the characteristics of black campaigns, including the dissemination of misleading information and direct attacks on competitors’ products and branding, substantively satisfy all elements of Article 1365. Novelty: This research highlights that black campaign disputes should not be viewed solely through the lens of criminal liability under the ITE Law, but can be more effectively resolved through civil liability mechanisms that address actual economic harm. Implications: The study underscores the importance of adopting civil law remedies to protect business continuity, market fairness, and economic stability within the digital competition landscape. Highlights: Black campaign practices meet all elements of unlawful acts under Article 1365. Civil liability offers a more effective remedy than relying solely on the ITE Law. Digital competition increases reputational and economic risks for businesses. Keywords: Black Campaign, Unfair Business Competition, Unlawful Act, Civil Liability, Digital Marketing

Abstract

Background: Village regulations constitute a fundamental legal instrument in Indonesia’s regional autonomy framework, positioning villages as the lowest yet autonomous level of governance. Specific background: The enactment of Law Number 6 of 2014 on Villages provides a legal basis for villages to formulate regulations reflecting community aspirations, democratic values, and local wisdom. Knowledge gap: Despite this framework, the efficiency of village regulations remains constrained by regulatory inconsistency, political dynamics, and limited institutional capacity at the village level. Aims: This study examines the efficiency of village regulations through the construction of legal politics based on philosophical, juridical, and sociological foundations. Results: The findings indicate that regulatory alignment across levels of government and village institutional capacity play a central role in shaping regulatory efficiency. Novelty: This research positions village regulation efficiency as a product of legal–political construction rather than administrative compliance. Implications: Strengthening participatory mechanisms and harmonizing legal frameworks are essential to support efficient village governance and sustainable local development in Indonesia. Highlights Village regulations operate within legal and political constraints. Regulatory alignment supports efficient village governance. Institutional capacity shapes regulatory implementation at village level. Keywords Village Regulations, Legal Politics, Regional Autonomy, Local Governance, Participatory Governance

Abstract

Background This study is grounded in the increasing complexity of organizational environments, where economic expansion, technological change, and rising competition intensify the need for accurate information to guide strategic decisions. Specific Background Within this context, marketing research is expected to enhance organizational understanding of markets, consumers, and environmental dynamics, while information awareness enables employees to access, evaluate, and use information effectively. Knowledge Gap Despite these assumptions, limited empirical evidence explains how marketing research contributes to information awareness at the organizational level. Aim This research examines the correlation and effect between marketing research and information awareness among employees of Al Kafeel Printing, Publishing and Distribution House. Results Statistical analysis of data from 26 employees revealed a negative but insignificant correlation between the variables, and no measurable effect of marketing research on information awareness, as indicated by significance values exceeding 0.05. Novelty The study challenges the prevailing belief that marketing research naturally strengthens information awareness, showing that the relationship may be context-dependent and influenced by structural or cultural factors. Implications These findings suggest the need to improve the integration of research outputs into organizational learning processes to enhance informed decision-making and reinforce information-based practices.Highlight : The study shows a negative correlation between marketing research and information awareness. Statistical results confirm no significant effect between the two variables. Increased marketing research does not directly improve employees’ information awareness. Abstract

General Background Ecoaesthetics has emerged as a philosophical response to global ecological degradation, emphasizing that environmental awareness is strengthened when humans perceive nature through aesthetic and ethical values. Specific Background Contemporary discourse highlights that ecological thinking develops not only through scientific and political solutions but also through cultural, moral, and aesthetic engagement with the natural world, including educational reforms that embed aesthetic appreciation in ecological learning. Knowledge Gap However, limited studies integrate ecoaesthetic theory with broader ecological culture, urban planning, and pedagogical practices in a unified analytical framework. Aims This study examines the philosophical foundations of ecoaesthetics and evaluates its role in shaping ecological consciousness, cultural attitudes, and sustainable social practices. Results Findings indicate that aesthetic perception of nature enhances moral responsibility, strengthens ecological culture, and fosters pro-environmental behaviour at both individual and societal levels, with notable influence on art, education, and urban design. Novelty The study links ecoaesthetic perception with ecological ethics, cultural development, and psychological well-being, offering a multidimensional interpretation of ecological thinking. Implications Ecoaesthetics can serve as a conceptual and practical foundation for ecological education, sustainable urbanism, and cultural transformation, helping societies restore harmony between humanity and the natural environment.Highlight : Ecoaesthetics links aesthetic perception with ecological awareness, strengthening moral responsibility toward nature. Aesthetic education supports the formation of ecological culture, especially among younger generations. Integrating ecoaesthetic values into society fosters sustainable behaviour and balanced human–nature relations Keywords : Ecological Aesthetics, Ecological Thinking, Aesthetic Consciousness, Sustainable Development, Ecological Culture

Abstract

General Background This study addresses the growing need for organisations to adopt long-term strategic approaches capable of sustaining competitiveness in dynamic markets, where marketing excellence increasingly depends on deliberate decision-making and adaptive learning. Specific Background Within the retail apparel sector in Ziona Mall and Al-Harithiya, the concept of strategic patience has been recognised but insufficiently examined in relation to marketing excellence and the mediating role of the marketing lens. Knowledge Gap Despite its theoretical prominence, empirical evidence on how strategic patience is channelled through marketing perspectives to enhance marketing excellence remains limited. Aims This research investigates the direct effects of strategic patience on the marketing lens and marketing excellence, and evaluates the marketing lens as a mediating mechanism. Results Using data from 189 employees and structural equation modelling, the study reveals strong and significant effects of strategic patience on the marketing lens, a weaker yet significant direct effect on marketing excellence, and a robust indirect effect indicating partial mediation. Novelty The study demonstrates that strategic patience contributes to marketing excellence primarily through the marketing lens rather than through direct influence alone. Implications These findings highlight the need for apparel retailers to strengthen culture management, knowledge development, and stakeholder engagement so that strategic patience can translate into sustainable marketing performance.Highlight : The study underscores the strong link between strategic patience and the marketing lens, which serves as the primary mechanism for elevating marketing excellence. Findings show that stakeholder engagement remains the weakest dimension, indicating the need for more consistent external collaboration. Customer value emerges as the lowest-performing aspect, signalling that stores must clarify and strengthen the value delivered to customers Keywords : Strategic Patience, Marketing Excellence, Marketing Lens, Ziona Mall, Al-Harithiya

Abstract

Early childhood literacy and storytelling skills are critical foundations for later academic achievement, yet many learning environments remain constrained by monotonous instructional practices and limited culturally responsive media. This study addresses this gap by examining the impact of animated folklore as an innovative learning medium for early childhood education. The aim of the research is to evaluate the effectiveness of folklore-based animated audiovisuals in improving literacy and storytelling skills among young children. The study employs a research and development approach using the ADDIE framework, involving expert validation and field implementation. Empirical data were collected from 65 kindergarten children aged 5–6 years across small-scale and large-scale trials, using observation instruments, questionnaires, and pretest–posttest assessments. Quantitative analysis included descriptive statistics, N-Gain scores, and paired-sample t-tests. The results demonstrate substantial improvements in both literacy and storytelling outcomes after exposure to the animated folklore intervention, with medium-to-high learning gains and statistically significant differences between pretest and posttest scores. The media achieved high validity and practicality ratings from experts, teachers, and learners, indicating strong instructional quality and classroom feasibility. The novelty of this study lies in its integration of culturally grounded animated folklore as a systematic pedagogical tool that simultaneously strengthens narrative competence and early literacy skills. The findings contribute to early childhood education theory by reinforcing the role of culturally responsive digital media in language development, while offering practical implications for educators and policymakers seeking scalable, engaging strategies to enhance foundational literacy and storytelling in early learning contexts. Highlights: Animated folklore significantly improves early childhood literacy and storytelling performance Culturally responsive animation increases learner engagement and narrative competence Digital storytelling media provides effective, scalable support for early childhood education Keywords: Early Childhood Literacy, Storytelling Skills, Animated Folklore, Culturally Responsive Learning, Audiovisual Education

Abstract

General Background Soils in arid regions often experience declining fertility due to low organic matter, salinization, and intensive irrigation, which challenge sustainable agricultural productivity. Specific Background In the Surkhandarya Region of Uzbekistan, rice-growing areas of Termez and Muzrabod exhibit severely depleted humus levels, moderate salinity, and weak structural stability. Knowledge Gap Despite evidence that microalgae and cyanobacteria can improve soil fertility in arid environments, their potential for biorecultivation under the specific climatic and edaphic conditions of southern Surkhandarya remains insufficiently documented. Aims This study assessed key agrochemical properties and microbiological communities while evaluating the nitrogen-fixing activity and soil-ameliorating potential of native phototrophic microorganisms. Results Findings revealed low humus (1.0–1.5%), moderate salinity (EC 2.58–8.55 mS/cm), and active populations of Nostoc, Anabaena, Oscillatoria, Klebsormidium, and Chlorella with nitrogen fixation rates of 3.2–3.7 mg N g⁻¹ day⁻¹. Klebsormidium inoculation increased organic matter by 20–25%, improved aggregate stability, reduced bulk density, and enhanced water-holding capacity by 12–15%. Novelty This work provides integrated chemical–biological evidence demonstrating the efficacy of locally adapted microalgae for soil restoration in BWk desert climates. Implications The results support microalgae-based biorecultivation as a viable strategy for rehabilitating degraded arid soils and strengthening sustainable land management in Central Asia.Highlight : The content emphasizes that low humus levels and moderate salinization remain key factors reducing soil fertility in arid Surkhandarya regions. The role of cyanobacteria and microalgae is highlighted through their ability to fix nitrogen, strengthen soil aggregates, and enhance organic matter. Experimental findings show that microalgal inoculation, especially Klebsormidium, measurably improves soil structure and water retention, supporting its potential for sustainable biorecultivation.
