Abstract

General Background: The global growth of Korean popular culture has intensified fandom engagement and consumption-oriented activities. Specific Background: Indonesian NCT fans actively purchase idol-related merchandise, which is often linked to pleasure-oriented lifestyle tendencies and behavioral regulation. Knowledge Gap: Empirical research examining the relationship between pleasure-oriented lifestyle patterns, behavioral regulation, and merchandise buying tendencies among Indonesian NCT fans remains limited. Aims: This study analyzed the relationship between pleasure-oriented lifestyle patterns and behavioral regulation with merchandise buying tendencies among Indonesian NCT fans. Results: Using a quantitative design with accidental sampling, 384 respondents were recruited from a Twitter fanbase. Reliability testing indicated strong internal consistency across instruments. Nonparametric correlation analysis revealed significant relationships between buying tendencies and pleasure-oriented lifestyle patterns (r = 0.661; p < .001) and behavioral regulation (r = 0.586; p < .001), with behavioral regulation demonstrating a stronger statistical association. Novelty: The study provides empirical evidence linking fandom consumption patterns with lifestyle orientation and behavioral regulation using validated psychometric measures within Indonesian NCT fan communities. Implications: The findings highlight the importance of strengthening behavioral regulation and awareness of pleasure-driven lifestyle tendencies to reduce excessive merchandise purchasing and support future consumer behavior studies in fandom contexts. Highlights: Strong Association Identified Between Pleasure-Seeking Daily Patterns and Excessive Buying Tendencies. Behavioral Regulation Shows Higher Statistical Contribution Compared With Lifestyle Orientation. Online Fan Communities Demonstrate Measurable Consumption Patterns Linked to Idol-Related Products. Abstract

Non-profit organizations play a critical role in society, yet their financial reporting practices often lack the rigor of for-profit entities. This study examines the financial reporting of the Darul Aitam Orphanage Foundation, focusing on its compliance with ISAK 35 standards and its implementation of transparency and accountability principles. Despite the importance of these principles for trust and efficiency, a knowledge gap exists regarding their application in non-profit orphanages. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method, utilizing primary and secondary data from monthly reports, and collects data through observations, interviews, and documentation. Findings reveal that the Darul Aitam Orphanage Foundation has not adopted ISAK 35 standards and fails to fully implement transparency and accountability in its financial reporting. The financial records are rudimentary, noting only cash inflows and outflows, and lack detailed information needed by external stakeholders. These results underscore the need for improved financial practices in non-profit organizations to enhance accountability and transparency, thereby fostering greater trust and support from stakeholders. Highligt: The Darul Aitam Orphanage Foundation's financial reports do not adhere to ISAK 35 standards. The orphanage's financial practices lack comprehensive transparency and accountability. Enhanced financial reporting practices are necessary for better external analysis and stakeholder trust. Abstract

General Background: Language functions as a fundamental communication tool encompassing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in early childhood development. Specific Background: Observations in a kindergarten setting revealed that children aged 5–6 years demonstrated limited ability to answer questions, retell stories, and construct simple written sentences, indicating insufficient stimulation of language acquisition. Knowledge Gap: Although storytelling is widely applied in early childhood education, structured integration of animated fairy tale media within classroom-based action research to address multiple language indicators remains underexplored. Aims: This study aimed to increase language abilities of children aged 5–6 years through animated fairy tale learning activities conducted in classroom instruction. Results: Using Classroom Action Research based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model involving 13 children across pre-cycle, Cycle I, and Cycle II, the average language achievement increased from 38% in the pre-cycle to 52% in Cycle I and reached 76% in Cycle II, with 92% of children achieving mastery criteria. Improvements were observed in answering complex questions, retelling stories, and writing simple structured sentences. Novelty: This study presents a structured application of short-duration animated fable storytelling with forward plot sequences and interactive questioning as a classroom-based instructional intervention. Implications: The findings indicate that animated fairy tale learning provides an alternative pedagogical strategy for early childhood language instruction and supports development of listening, speaking, and early literacy competencies. Highlights: Short Animated Fable Storytelling Increased Mastery Rates From Total Non-Achievement to Dominant Completion Levels. Interactive Narrative Sessions Improved Children’s Ability to Reconstruct Story Content and Respond to Complex Questions. Sequential Classroom Cycles Demonstrated Progressive Growth in Early Writing Structure Formation. Abstract

This study investigates the psychological impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on dental students at Baghdad University College of Dentistry. Conducted between December 2021 and January 2022, this cross-sectional survey aligns with ethical guidelines and the Helsinki Declaration. The study utilized Cochran's equation to determine a sample size of at least 400, ensuring a 95% confidence level with a 5% margin of error. The Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) and the Covid Student Stress Questionnaire (CSSQ) were employed as primary tools, assessing general and COVID-19-related stress, respectively. A total of 411 students participated, with 67.50% experiencing moderate to severe stress (PSS <14) and 58.8% reporting average levels of COVID-related stress (CSSQ <7). Notably, there was a significant positive correlation between the PSS and CSSQ scores (P = 0.008). The analysis, conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics software V26, included descriptive statistics, Cronbach's alpha for reliability, and Pearson Correlation for assessing correlations. The findings indicate that a substantial proportion of dental students experienced heightened stress levels, potentially leading to mental health disorders like cognitive impairment. These results emphasize the need for universities to enhance psychological support and for government bodies to implement comprehensive health education and awareness programs. This study not only sheds light on the immediate psychological effects of the pandemic on dental students but also serves as a foundational reference for future interventions aimed at reducing stress levels in this demographic. Highlights: Dental students have experienced significant psychological impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic has caused increased stress, anxiety, and depression among dental students. Remote learning and decreased clinical experience have contributed to the negative psychological effects. Providing social and emotional support is important in mitigating the psychological impact of the pandemic on dental students. Keywords: COVID-19, SARS-CoV-2, Student, Dental, Stress
