Khazanah: Journal of Islamic Education and Science adalah jurnal ilmiah peer-reviewed yang didedikasikan untuk mempublikasikan riset orisinal dan berkualitas tinggi yang mengeksplorasi kompleksitas Pendidikan Islam dan Ilmu Pengentahuan dalam konteks lokal maupun global. Jurnal ini bertujuan sebagai platform akademik bagi para mahasiswa, dosen, akademisi maupun praktisi untuk mendiskusikan transformasi, tantangan, dan dinamika pemikiran serta praktik Islam di era kontemporer. Kami mengundang kontribusi naskah dengan pendekatan interdisipliner maupun multidisipliner yang mencakup, namun tidak terbatas pada, sub-tema berikut: 1. Pendidikan Islam (Islamic Education) : a. Inovasi Pembelajaran: Strategi, metode, dan media pembelajaran kontemporer di lembaga pendidikan Islam (Madrasah, Pesantren, Perguruan Tinggi). b. Kurikulum: Pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan Islam yang adaptif terhadap perubahan zaman. c. Manajemen & Kepemimpinan: Tata kelola lembaga pendidikan Islam dan kepemimpinan pendidikan berbasis nilai Islam. d. Psikologi Pendidikan Islam: Analisis perilaku dan perkembangan peserta didik dalam perspektif Islam dan psikologi modern. e. Sejarah & Pemikiran: Kajian tokoh, naskah klasik (Turats), dan dinamika sejarah pendidikan Islam. 2. Sains & Integrasi Ilmu (Science and Integration) : a. Integrasi Sains Islam: Kajian epistemologis dan praktis mengenai penyatuan ayat-ayat dengan nilai-nilai religius. b. Sains Terapan & Teknologi: Penelitian di bidang sains murni atau terapan yang berdampak pada kemaslahatan umat (Transformasi digital dalam pendidikan Islam, Pendidikan lingkungan hidup berbasis nilai Islam). c. Abstract

The disruption of learning ecosystems in the digital era has fundamentally restructured interaction patterns, organizational structures, and pedagogical practices within educational institutions, including Islamic education. Rapid digital transformation has required leadership models that are adaptive while remaining grounded in Islamic values. This study aimed to construct a conceptual framework of agile Islamic educational leadership in responding to the dynamics of digital learning disruption. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach through a Systematic Literature Review of scientific publications from 2016 to 2025 retrieved from the Scopus, Google Scholar, and Sinta databases. Data were collected through systematic digital documentation and analyzed using content analysis and thematic analysis. The findings indicated that agile Islamic educational leadership was developed through the integration of organizational adaptability, data-driven decision making, digital collaboration, teacher capacity development, and a digital vision grounded in the principles of amanah, shura, and justice. This construction expanded the paradigm of educational leadership by integrating agility theory with Islamic values and provided practical guidance for sustainable digital transformation in Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the increasing demand for global competitiveness among Islamic educational institutions amid the dynamics of globalization, digital transformation, and international academic quality competition. Many institutions have undertaken administrative modernization; however, they have not fully integrated Qur’anic values as a strategic foundation of organizational culture. This study aimed to analyze the transformation of Islamic education management based on Qur’anic organizational culture and its implications for enhancing institutional global competitiveness. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed using a Systematic Literature Review design of scholarly articles published between 2016 and 2025, retrieved from Scopus, Google Scholar, and Sinta databases. Data were analyzed through content analysis and thematic analysis to systematically synthesize cross-study findings. The results indicated that the internalization of the values of trustworthiness, excellence, consultation, and justice within managerial systems contributed to strengthening governance quality, institutional reputation, and strategic sustainability. This study offered theoretical contributions by integrating organizational culture theory with the paradigm of Islamic education management and practical contributions through a value-based transformation model to enhance institutional global competitiveness.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the education sector has reshaped the governance paradigm of Islamic educational institutions, particularly in responding to contemporary demands for public accountability. This study aimed to develop an integrated information technology based governance model for Islamic education management that is responsive to principles of transparency, participation, and data-driven decision-making. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using a systematic literature review design of reputable scholarly articles published between 2016 and 2025, selected through a structured screening protocol. Data were analyzed using content analysis and thematic analysis to synthesize findings across studies. The results indicated that digital transparency, integrated information systems, digital leadership, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven accountability constituted the core components of accountable governance in Islamic education. The proposed model integrated input, process, and output dimensions into a coherent conceptual framework. This study contributed theoretically by advancing a technology-based governance model and contributed practically by providing strategic guidance for strengthening adaptive and accountable management in Islamic educational institutions within the digital era.

Abstract

The rapid development of artificial intelligence across multiple sectors has generated complex ethical challenges that require a contextual normative framework. The ongoing expansion of digital transformation has necessitated the integration of technological innovation with principles of social sustainability. This study aimed to construct an ethical framework for artificial intelligence based on the principles of Maqasid Shariah to support sustainable digital transformation. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using a systematic literature review of reputable scholarly articles published between 2016 and 2025, selected through a structured screening protocol. Data were analyzed through content analysis and thematic analysis to synthesize findings across studies. The results indicated that the five dimensions of Maqasid Shariah, namely the protection of life, intellect, property, lineage, and religion, demonstrated operational relevance in the development of transparent, accountable, and public-oriented artificial intelligence governance. The proposed framework integrated normative principles and technological governance into a coherent conceptual structure. This study contributed theoretically to the advancement of value-based technology ethics and provided practical guidance for the formulation of sustainable artificial intelligence policies.

Abstract

The development of science education in Islamic institutions faces the challenge of integrating the demands of modernization and a commitment to Islamic values in educational management. This study aims to analyze how Maqasid Syariah is constructed and operationalized as a public administration framework in the development of science education, as well as how its application affects the structure, administrative processes, and educational policy cycles. The research uses a qualitative approach with an exploratory-critical case study design. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis, then analyzed thematically through open, axial, and selective coding processes. The results show that Maqasid Syariah is institutionalized in strategic documents, organizational structures, quality assurance systems, educator competency development, and value-based evaluation indicators. This integration influences planning through the formulation of holistic objectives, implementation through ethics-based science learning, and evaluation through performance measurements that include cognitive and character dimensions. This study contributes to the development of a value-based Islamic public administration paradigm and offers an operational model for integrated and systematic science education governance.

Abstract

The advancement of artificial intelligence in higher education has created both opportunities and challenges in developing students’ critical thinking. While this technology has enhanced learning efficiency and accessibility, its unregulated use has risked weakening reflective and analytical capacities. Therefore, a pedagogical approach that integrates technological and value-based dimensions has become essential. This study aimed to analyze the synergy between artificial intelligence and prophetic pedagogy in enhancing students’ critical thinking. A descriptive qualitative approach with a meta-analysis method was employed, examining literature published between 2016 and 2025 from reputable digital databases. Data were collected through systematic digital documentation, while content and thematic analyses were applied for data interpretation. The findings indicated that artificial intelligence functioned effectively as an adaptive learning tool but required a value-based framework to optimize critical thinking development. The integration of prophetic pedagogy strengthened students’ reflective, ethical, and analytical dimensions. This study contributed to the development of an integrative paradigm that connects technology and values as a foundation for holistic and meaningful learning.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the increasing complexity of educational challenges in the era of disruption, particularly in integrating artificial intelligence with the need to internalize religious moderation values. The gap between the use of technology in science learning and the strengthening of value dimensions became the primary concern addressed in this study. This research aimed to analyze the characteristics of artificial intelligence-based science pedagogy and its role in internalizing religious moderation values. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach using a meta-analysis method of scientific literature published between 2016 and 2025 from reputable digital databases. Data were collected through systematic documentation with standardized selection protocols, while data analysis was conducted using thematic analysis to synthesize findings across studies. The results indicated that artificial intelligence-based science pedagogy demonstrated adaptive, interactive, and reflective characteristics that were effective in fostering critical awareness, tolerance, and inclusive attitudes among learners. The integration of religious moderation values was most optimally achieved through technology-based reflective dialogue approaches. This study contributed theoretically by proposing an integrative framework combining science pedagogy, artificial intelligence, and value - based education, as well as offering practical implications for developing contextual and character-oriented learning in the era of disruption.

Abstract

Digital transformation in education has driven the utilization of large-scale data as a basis for strategic decision-making. However, Islamic education has continued to face limitations in integrating data-based approaches into its management systems, resulting in limited adaptability to change. This study aimed to analyze the optimization of big data -based strategic management in improving the quality of adaptive contemporary Islamic education. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a meta-analysis method of scientific literature published between 2018 and 2025 from reputable digital databases. Data were collected through digital documentation using Boolean keyword techniques and were selected through a systematic protocol. Data analysis was conducted using content and thematic analysis to identify patterns, concepts, and relationships among variables. The findings indicated that the utilization of big data significantly enhanced the effectiveness of strategic management through the strengthening of data-driven planning, implementation, and evaluation. In addition, such integration improved the quality of Islamic education in terms of curriculum, governance, and institutional adaptability. This study contributed to the development of an integrative model of data-based Islamic education management relevant to the demands of the digital era.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the increasing complexity of contemporary educational challenges, which extend beyond academic achievement to include students’ mental well-being. Conventional education systems that tend to be rigid and cognitively oriented were considered insufficient to address holistic learning needs. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze the synergy between humanistic pedagogy and a flexible curriculum in supporting mental well-being and academic achievement. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a meta-analysis method of scientific literature published between 2018 and 2025 from reputable databases. Data collection was conducted through systematic digital documentation procedures, while data analysis used thematic analysis to identify patterns and relationships among variables. The findings indicated that the integration of humanistic pedagogy and a flexible curriculum significantly contributed to improving mental well-being, which subsequently functioned as a mediating variable in enhancing academic achievement. This study provided theoretical contributions in the form of an integrative conceptual model and practical contributions as a basis for strengthening educational policies and learning practices that are more adaptive and responsive to students’ needs.

Abstract

The Quran Recitation and Hadith Competition (STQH) is a national event that combines religious aspects with local wisdom. Each region showcases its unique characteristics through traditional attire, cultural symbols, and distinctive ornaments. The objective of this study is to analyze and document the appearance of decorated vehicles and cultural representations from various provinces, as presented in the STQH Ta’aruf Parade. The research method employs qualitative descriptive analysis with an ethnographic approach. Data collection techniques include standard interviews, in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentary analysis. The results of this study indicate that the Ta’aruf Parade in the 2025 National STQH serves as a medium for cultural representation that integrates religious values, local identity, and environmental awareness. Each contingent displays cultural symbols through decorated vehicles, traditional attire, and traditional arts that convey messages of social harmony and environmental conservation. Support from organizers and the government further strengthened the socio-economic impact by boosting local community activities. Art performances, including large-scale dances, demonstrated that cultural arts are utilized as a contextual means of religious outreach. The STQH functions not only as a venue for religious competition but also as a space for cultural preservation and the reinforcement of sustainable social values.
