Abstract

Skin disease is the most common disease and the fastest to infect the human body. This happens because the skin is the first organ to receive stimulation from the outside in the form of touch, temperature and other stimuli. Skin disease  consists  of  several  types  that  have  a  color  texture  that  is  almost  the  same  by  naked  eye.  Thus,  an approach  is  needed  to  recognize  the  types  of  skin  diseases  with  the  help  of  image  processing  systems  and artificial  neural  networks.  The  identification  method  used  in  this  study  is  the  Convolutional  Neural  Network (CNN).  The  infected  skin  image  is  used  as  an  input  image for  image processing.  Prior  to identification,  image pre-processing was carried out, namely resizing, grayscaling, using the Convolutional Neural Network method. The  testing  process  in  this  study  used  70  types  of  skin  disease  images  for  validation  data  and  35  types  of  skin disease  images  for  data  testing.  The  results  of  this  study  the  Convolutional  Neural  Network  method  can recognize  each  image  of  a  type  of  skin  disease  with  anaccuracy  of  98%  in  the  validation  testing  process  and 85% in the testing process.

Abstract

Analysis of the workload on the office and administration of a Probolinggo city health center needs to be done. Some officers seem to work relaxed while others do not, and some workers do not start work on time and end work early. It appears that in certain sections there is a buildup of work and not in other sections, this seems to be because workers cannot organize work according to a predetermined work schedule. By using workload analysis it can be ascertained that workers have worked well or not. From the results of the analysis it is known that some workers have worked beyond their proper work capacity (overload) and some workers are still working casually.

Abstract

The aviation industryhas changed the mass and private transportation industry, thus making aircraft more and more varied, this type of air transportation has a very high adverse effect on the atmosphere because of its very high fuel consumption and emitting so many pollutantsthat aircraft for the future will lead to There are 2 types of aircraft, namely  Hybrid-Electric  Aircraft  and All-Electric  Aircraft. Both  have the  same electric power  drive, but  there  are  weaknesses  in  this  transportation.  Namely  on  the  battery  used.  The  method  used  is  the experimental  method.  While  this  type  of  research  uses  an  electric  aircraft  battery  prototype  where  the temperature of the working fluid will be measured with a thermocouple 1 (T1) and flowed by a pump from tank 1 to  the  minichannel  in  thebattery  pack.  For  the  battery,  the  temperature  will  be  measured  by  thermocouple  2 (T2), thermocouple 3 (T3), and thermocouple 4 (T4) then the working fluid from the minichannel will be flowed into tank 2 where the temperature will be measured using thermocouple 5 (T5). The results obtained in this study are the use of working fluid 75% Ethylene Glycol –25% Water is better than 75% Water –25% Ethylene Glycol in  terms  of  pressure  drop,  temperature  value,  and  heat  transfer  convection  itself.  Meanwhile,  for the  working fluid  flow  velocity  and  Reynolds  Number,  the  working  fluid  is  75%  Ethylene  Glycol –25%  Water  better  than 75% Water –25% Ethylene Glycol

Abstract

A website is a collection of pages containing certain information and can be accessed easily by anyone, anytime, and anywhere through the internet. In an educational institution, of course, it is very necessary for information systems  in  regulating  academic  activities  that  are  fast,  effective,  efficient,  accurate  to  improve  the  quality standards of education in these educational institutions.Faculty of Engineering, Panca Marga University is one of the private universities in Probolinggo Regency with 3 (three) study programs, namely electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and industrial engineering. Final projects such as Real Work Practice (PKN) and thesis are  the  final  tasks  that  must  be  completed  by  a  student  who  will  graduate  from  the  level  of  undergraduate education   or   diploma   in   college.Currently,   the   final   project   administration process   at   the   Faculty   of Engineering,  Panca  Marga  University  is  still  computerized  simply  where  the  final  task  implementation  data  is still  stored in  folders  made  by  academic  staff  themselves,  there is  no final  project  reporting  system.  This  is  felt inappropriate so it takes a long time to process the final project data with a large number of students. Based on this, researchers created a pkn final project information system and web-based thesis. In this study, the authors used  the  Waterfall  Method  as  an  application  development  method.  The  Waterfall  method  is  a  sequential development  model.  In  the  process  of  creating  the  waterfall  method,  it  starts  with  analysis,  design,  coding, testing and maintenance.

Abstract

Shallots are one type of annual plant that belongs to the Liliaceae family. This plant is useful as a seasoning for cooking, as well as a source of much-needed vitamin C, protein, fat, and carbohydrates. On onion plants, there are  several  things  that  need  to  be  considered,  including  watering  and  spraying  pesticides.  In  watering  and spraying pesticides, it is still done manually. Sometimes onion farmers spend too much time and are less efficient in their work, so a water irrigation and pesticide spraying system is made on onion plants on a scheduled basis. This system uses a soil moisture sensor to read data on the amount of water content in the soil, when the sensor detects  the  soil,  the  sensor  will  read  moist  or  dry  data.  And  the  Real  Time  Clock  (RTC)  functions  as  a  timer, where the specified time has arrived, the RTC will turn on the DC Motor and DC Pump. The DC motor functions as  a  driving  force  for  the  spraying  device,  and  the  DC  Pump  functions  as  pumping  water  according  to  a specified schedule. This system uses an Arduino Uno microcontroller as a controller of the soil moisture sensor and RTC. The result of this research is the formation of watering and spraying pesticides that make it easier for farmers to water and spray pesticides on shallot plants.

Abstract

Online  learning  utilizes  multimedia  as  a  learning  medium.  Emotional  factors  are  often  ignored  in  multimedia learning  research.  Several studies  have  stated  that  emotional  factors  have  a  small  effect  on learning  outcomes but have a large effect on student motivation and willingness to learn. Therefore, the emotional factor deserves further investigation of its influence on multimedia learning. Multimedia learning used in the research is in the form of powerpoint (PPT) and video. Emotional factors were measured using the PANAVA-KS method. The best multimedia learning  design  is  a  design  that  can  help find  a multimedia learning  design  that  can evoke  positive emotions so that it can be used as a good learning medium.

Abstract

Energy  needs  in  Indonesia  are  currently  still  dominated  by  energy  based  on  fossil  fuels,  such  as  oil  and  coal. The  disadvantage  of  fossil  fuels  is  that  they  are  not  environmentally  friendly.  Water  is  an  alternative  energy source that can replace fossil-based energy sources and is a renewable energy. The Archimedes Screw turbine is a  turbine  suitable  for  use  in  Indonesia  which  has  a  low head  river  flow. This  research  uses  an  experimental method, namely designing and manufacturing an Archimedes Screw turbine. The results of the 180 minute test of the three Archimedes screw turbine models, namely threads screw type 1 produces a voltage of 2.83 volts, screw type 2 produces a voltage of 3.16 volts and screw type 3 produces a voltage of 2.49 volts. Thread type 2 which can produce a greater voltage for 180 minutes, which is 3.16 volts.

Abstract

The  aviation  industry  has  changed  the  mass  and  private  transportation  industry,  thus  making  aircraft more and more varied, this type of air transportation has a very high adverse effect on the atmosphere because of its very high fuel consumption and emitting so many pollutants that aircraft for the future will lead There are 2 types of aircraft, namely Hybrid-Electric Aircraft and All-Electric Aircraft. Both have the same electric power drive, but there are weaknesses in this transportation. Namely on the battery used. In general, the battery used is Lithium-ion.  Lithium-ion  has  the  characteristics  of  being  lightweight  and  more  durable  than  the  others.  The battery  itself  also  has  a  weakness,  if it is  used  for  too long or  continuously  the  battery  will  heat  up  and  reduce battery life.  Therefore, cooling  the  battery is  also  needed  to  reduce  battery heat  and  maintain  battery life.  The results obtained in this study are the use of working fluid 75% Ethylene Glycol –25% Water is better than 75% Water –25% Ethylene Glycol.

Abstract

The  Cultivation  of  Domestic  wastewater  at  PT.  POMI  uses  the  addition  of  a  screw  pump  which  is carried out to overcome the problem in the storage tank, where the previous submersible pump type cannot work due  to  changes in  the content  of  wastewater  containing  fiber, causing the  pump impeller  get  stuck in  the  waste fiber pump and the pump cannot work. The screw pump is considered to be very powerful and efficient to drain waste containing water, sand, mud and fiber and this pump uses an alternative energy source so that it is more efficient and does  not  burden the electricity  generated  by  PLN.  Utilization of  solar energy  as  a  pump  resource can reduce the use of fossil fuels used by PLTU as fuel. Measuring the effectiveness of the screw pump is done by sampling  to  compare  the  output  of  waste  water  entering  the  reservoir  with  the  screw  pump  output  to  the  next process. The weather factor is one of the weaknesses of using solar panels. The energy needed to drive a pump of 8.1 kWh requires 21 solar panels with a capacity of 100 Wp  which can produce energy of 400 Wh per panel with with parallel 4 configuration with a capacity of 100 Wp per panel.
