Abstract

Professional development at SDIT Robbani is a form of improving the quality of human resources and aims to improve work effectiveness by improving the knowledge, skills and attitudes of employees towards their duties. Activities that support professional development include training, seminars, workshops and so on. This study aims to describe the needs analysis, program design, development process, implementation process, and process of evaluating teacher professional development programs. The author uses a qualitative research approach with a type of qualitative descriptive research, namely research that describes or describes the state or status of phenomena, collecting data using observation and interview techniques conducted with school principals, vice principals in curriculum areas, and teachers. The results of this study are to analyze the needs for teacher professional development by diagnosing it first, in the design of the teacher development program, based on all the descriptions regarding needs analysis, of course the principal has goals to achieve in teacher professional development, Developing a teacher professional development program, namely in the form of training, workshops, Islamic coaching, and so on. Implementation of the Teacher Professional Development Program has external and internal programs, in the evaluation stage through teacher report cards that support teacher performance.

Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned effort to create a learning environment and learning process that enables students to actively develop their potential. The essence of education includes the development of spiritual aspects, personality, intelligence, noble character, and skills needed by individuals, communities, nations, and countries. Education is not merely a transfer of knowledge, but a process of cultivating humans to become whole and dignified individuals. Furthermore, the essence of education is closely related to lifelong human development and social interactions that shape individuals into complete human beings. Education is also considered a tool for coping with life changes and improving the quality of individuals and society. Simply put, education is the process of transforming and shaping humans from a natural state to a cultured and civilised state based on integrated social, religious, and scientific values.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) plays a fundamental role in shaping children’s character, morality, and religiosity. In the Indonesian context, the integration of Qur’anic values is particularly significant, as it provides not only moral foundations but also holistic spiritual guidance. This study aims to map and analyze how Qur’anic values are integrated into PAUD learning, focusing on strategies, methods, and challenges in cultivating akhlak, moral, and religiosity in early childhood. A scoping review approach was employed by examining relevant literature indexed in Scopus and other reputable databases. The reviewed studies highlight that Qur’anic values are most effectively transmitted through developmentally appropriate methods, such as habituation, teacher modeling, storytelling, play-based learning, and memorization of short surahs and prayers. Findings also reveal that successful integration depends on the synergy between school and family, as well as the selective use of digital media as supporting tools. However, gaps remain in terms of longitudinal evidence, teacher capacity, and policy frameworks to sustain consistent implementation. The study concludes that Qur’anic value integration in PAUD contributes significantly to early moral and religious development. It calls for curriculum enrichment, teacher professional development, and further empirical research with longitudinal and experimental designs to measure long-term impacts. These insights are expected to inform both theory and practice in strengthening Qur’an-based early childhood education.

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of integrating faith and knowledge in the practice of Christian education, particularly in the context of the role of Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers in shaping a resilient generation amidst changing times. This integration aims to eliminate the dichotomy between spiritual and intellectual aspects and emphasizes that faith and knowledge are two complementary dimensions in the educational process. The research method used is a literature study with a descriptive qualitative approach through analysis of relevant literature, books, and scientific articles. The results of the discussion indicate that faith serves as a moral and ethical basis for the utilization of knowledge, while knowledge serves as a means to implement faith in real life. PAK teachers have a strategic role in guiding students to be able to think critically, develop Christian character, and use knowledge for the glory of God and the welfare of others. Thus, the integration of faith and knowledge in Christian education not only forms students who are academically intelligent, but also have integrity, faith, and are ready to face global challenges wisely.

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of integrating Christian theology and Christian religious education in shaping the faith, character, and social responsibility of students in the modern era. Christian religious education is not only intended to convey theological knowledge but also as a transformative tool that shapes personality and behavior. Through a qualitative study using a literature review approach, this paper analyzes the role of Christian theology as a normative foundation, while also highlighting how faith values ​​can be realized in contextual learning. The results of the discussion indicate that Christian religious education functions as a space for the formation of solid faith, character development based on Christian values, and strengthening awareness of social responsibility as a living expression of faith. Furthermore, the relevance of Christian education in the modern era lies in its ability to foster critical thinking in the face of globalization, secularization, and the development of digital technology, while strengthening students' spiritual identity. Thus, the integration of Christian theology and Christian religious education not only maintains faith values ​​but also produces a generation of young people with faith, character, and social awareness, capable of being witnesses of Christ in a pluralistic and dynamic society.

Abstract

The method of educating children is a form of parental treatment in providing protection. Education and guidance in accordance with Islamic teachings. The book Prophetic Parenting by Muhmmad Nur Abdul Hafizh Suwaid presents the concept of children’s education by emulating the Prophet Muhmmad (peace be upon him). This study aims to describe the concept of children’s education, parenting methods, and parental responsibilities from the perspective of the book. This research uses a library research method with content analysis. The findings reveal that children’s education starts from prebirth, post-birth until adolescence. The methods employed by the Prophet include: presenting a good example, choosing the right time to give direction being fair, fulfilling the child’s rights, buying toys, helping the child to be obedient, and avoiding anger or reproach. Parents responsibilities include consistenly educating their children, correcting mistakes, and habituating them to perform good deeds. This, study emphasizes the importance of the Prophet Muhammad as the ultimate role model for Muslim parents in raising the next generation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the factors influencing the learning process and outcomes through four main aspects: raw input, process instrumental, output, and outcome. Raw input includes the physical, intellectual, psychological, and social conditions of students, while process instrumental covers curriculum, teacher roles, teaching methods, and learning media. Output refers to cognitive, affective, and psychomotor achievements, whereas outcome emphasizes long-term impacts such as work readiness, social relevance, and character development. This study also highlights critical thinking skills, learning strategies, and the theory of multiple intelligences, which align with the concept of fitrah in Islam. From an Islamic perspective, intention, sincerity, environment, and religious motivation are key factors influencing learning success. Thus, learning outcomes are viewed as an integration of intellectual, social, and spiritual dimensions.

Abstract

Smartphone use during lectures has become a common phenomenon among students, particularly those in the Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Study Program. Although it can support learning, excessive smartphone use has the potential to reduce concentration. This study aims to analyze the effect of smartphone use during lectures on the concentration of PGSD students. The research method used was a quantitative survey using a Likert-scale questionnaire. The study population was PGSD students, with a sample of 20 respondents selected purposively. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that smartphone use during lectures significantly affected student concentration, with the higher the intensity of smartphone use, the lower the students' concentration levels. This study emphasizes the importance of wisely managing smartphone use to prevent disrupting learning focus in class.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between the use of Canva, an online graphic design application, and the digital literacy of Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) students in the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The research employed a quantitative correlational approach using a Likert-scale questionnaire, with data analyzed through validity and reliability tests, product moment correlation, Spearman Rank correlation, and simple regression analysis. The results indicate that the level of Canva usage is categorized as high (95%), as well as students’ digital literacy (90%). The Spearman Rank correlation test yielded rs = 0.407, indicating a positive and moderate correlation between Canva usage and digital literacy. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.232 shows that Canva contributes 23.2% to digital literacy, while the remaining 76.8% is influenced by other factors beyond this study. These findings highlight that Canva is not only a design tool but also an effective digital learning medium to enhance students’ digital literacy. Therefore, Canva plays a crucial role in fostering students’ critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration skills, while also preparing them to face AI-based learning challenges.
