Abstract

In the Merdeka Curriculum, a reform has been introduced by integrating Science (IPA) and Social Studies (IPS) into a single subject called IPAS, which emphasizes contextual learning based on real-life experiences. One of the approaches used is Project Based Learning (PjBL), which actively engages students in completing projects to enhance their understanding and motivation to learn. Based on interviews with the fifth grade homeroom teacher, it was found that students often experience confusion and quickly forget the material, making the implementation of PjBL a relevant solution to address these issues in IPAS learning. This study discusses the following problems: (1). How is project based learning implemented in the IPAS subject for fifth grade students at SD Negeri 12 Peguyangan Denpasar, (2). What are the challenges in implementing project based learning in the IPAS subject for fifth grade students at the school, (3). What efforts are made to overcome these challenges in the implementation of project based learning. The theories used to address the above problems are behaviorist theory and constructivist theory. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The data analysis technique involved data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that: (1). the implementation of project based learning at SD Negeri 12 Peguyangan Denpasar includes designing a project based learning model that requires structured steps to guide and give a clear picture to students throughout the learning process, (2). the challenges encountered in implementing project based learning include limited time, lack of active participation from all group members during discussions, and insufficient facilities for project development, (3). efforts to address these challenges include making early agreements on project planning and scheduling, encouraging collaboration and teamwork among group members, and bringing backup materials and tools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara komprehensif fungsi dan implikasi nilai-nilai AgamaHindu yang terintegrasi dalam mata kuliah Wirausaha Kreatif di Jurusan Kewirausahaan, Fakultas Dharma Duta, Universitas Hindu Negeri I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif-analitis, studi ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana nilai-nilai spiritual ini berperan dalam pembentukan karakter wirausaha yang holistik. Temuan penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa nilai-nilai Agama Hindu memiliki fungsi vital dalam menyeimbangkan teori dan praktik kewirausahaan, mendukung pencapaian tujuan pendidikan yang berlandaskan nilai, mengintegrasikan aspek agama dan ekonomi, serta membangun konsistensi pembelajaran. Lebih lanjut, integrasi ini memberikan implikasi signifikan terhadap perubahan positif pada pola pikir, pola berperilaku, dan respons konkret mahasiswa dalam menciptakan serta mengembangkan wirausaha yang berbasis nilai-nilai Hindu. Hasil penelitian ini menekankan urgensi pengintegrasian nilai-nilai spiritual dalam pendidikan tinggi untuk menghasilkan wirausaha yang tidak hanya kompeten secara profesional, tetapi juga berintegritas, beretika, dan berkelanjutan.Kata Kunci: Kewirausahaan Kreatif, Nilai-Nilai Agama Hindu, Pendidikan Kewirausahaan, Etika Bisnis Hindu, UHN I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar.

Abstract

In 1935–1937, Gagaklodra traveled to India to observe Hinduism as an integral part of the way of life of its people. The results of his journey in India, including his encounters with criminal figures and his efforts to address various issues there, were later conveyed to his readers in the Indies. This paper conducts a textual analysis of Gagaklodra’s serials set in India. Hinduism becomes the central focus of this study in order to examine its position within the plural society imagined by Gagaklodra. Hinduism and its place within the plural society envisioned by Gagaklodra represent a way of living together that remains relevant and necessary to be practiced in Indonesia today.

Abstract

For adherents of the Kaharingan Hindu religion, the death ritual is a tradition and a religious ritual that must be carried out, thus becoming a belief/faith as one of the rituals of the Kaharingan Hindu religion. The implementation of the Kaharingan Hindu death ritual of the Dusun Dayak Tribe includes the initial process of death, which is carried out by tuntung or nuntung. Next, oseng annoi, which involves handling the body and bathing the body. Next, pangumma' panguyang, which involves the removal of clothing and other necessary items from the deceased, which are usually accompanied by the deceased. Afterward, a coffin (rarung) is constructed, the body is placed in the coffin, and the burial ceremony follows the death ritual of the Dusun Dayak Tribe in Dusun Selatan District, South Barito Regency.

Abstract

Environmental issues have become a global concern that demands serious attention, as ecosystem degradation directly affects the sustainability of human life. This article discusses the environmental law values in Hindu teachings as a guide for sustainable utilization of natural resources. Through a literature review of Hindu scriptures such as the Vedas, Bhagavad Gita, Dharmasastra, and the Panaturan of Hindu Kaharingan, it is found that principles such as Rta (cosmic order), Dharma (moral duty), Ahimsa (non-violence), Tat Twam Asi (unity of all beings), and Loka Samgraha (common welfare) contain environmental preservation values that align with the concept of sustainable development. The Tri Hita Karana philosophy serves as an ethical foundation emphasizing harmony between humans, God, and nature. Furthermore, religious rituals such as Tumpek Wariga, Nyepi Segara, Manyanggar, and Mamapas Lewu reflect local wisdom that strengthens ecological awareness among Hindu communities. Based on this analysis, Hindu teachings provide both philosophical and normative foundations that can be integrated into modern environmental law to promote equitable and sustainable natural resource management. Abstract

Education in the current era is a necessity for the nation and for humanity itself, as it provides individuals with guidance to further develop their potential. Especially in the 21st century, which is full of fundamental changes, the development of students' critical thinking skills in learning is an effort to increase motivation towards student learning outcomes within the education system of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. This research collected data by distributing questionnaires to 217 samples. The results showed that both critical thinking and learning motivation were in the high category, and learning outcomes were in the good category. The analysis of the effect of critical thinking on student learning outcomes showed that critical thinking contributed 74.3%. Learning motivation contributed 73.7% to student learning outcomes. The multiple linear regression analysis results indicated that critical thinking and learning motivation influenced student learning outcomes in the Hindu Religious Education subject for 10th-grade students at SMA Negeri 2 Denpasar in the 2022/2023 Academic Year, with a total contribution of 60.5%.

Abstract

Hindu religious archives contain significant spiritual, historical, and cultural values, necessitating systematic and sustainable preservation efforts. However, various studies indicate that the digitization of Hindu religious archives remains limited to technical implementation, lacking a comprehensive description of standardization and implementation strategies. This study aims to examine the methods, implementation, and strategy for digitization Hindu religious archives as an effort to preserve cultural heritage in the era of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution. The method employed is a literature review, which involves examining relevant scientific articles from national and international journals, as well as proceedings, accessed through Google Scholar. The results show that the digitization of Hindu religious archives has been carried out through various technological approaches to recognise the script of Hindu religious documents. Additionally, there are stages of digitization that can be systematically adopted, including digitization projects, pre- digitization classification, digital conversion, and post- digitization. These findings emphasise that digitization is not merely a technical process, but a strategy for preserving knowledge by integrating humanistic values and technology.
