Abstract

Setiap rezim pemerintahan di Indonesia, seperti era pemerintahan orde baru yang dipimpin Presesiden Soeharto, era pemerintahan SBY, dan era pemerintahan Jokowi, selalu berusaha untuk menarik minat investor, baik investor domestik maupun manca Negara agar mau menanamkan investasinya di Indonesia. Berbagai usaha dilakukan pemerintah, seperti memberikan kelonggaran kepada investor asing menggunakan sumber daya dan tenaga kerja asing, memperbaiki iklim investasi, menyediakan infrastruktur, hingga aturan yang memberikan kemudahan kepada investor. Peningkatan investasi sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, baik investor maupun masyarakat luas. Bahkan, Agama Hindu melalui kitab suci Atharvaveda III.24.5, mendorong masyarakat melakukan investasi yang dapat menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan dan meningkatkan pendapatan Negara.

Abstract

Militansi beragama sangat penting dimiliki oleh setiap umat beragama. Rendahnya militansi beragama menyebabkan seseorang dapat dengan mudah untuk berpindah agama. Upaya untuk menumbuhkan militansi beragama umat Hindu dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode storytelling cerita-cerita yang terdapat dalam kitab Purāṇa. Di dalam kegiatan storytelling, terdapat tiga tahapan penyampaian cerita kitab Purāṇa yaitu kegiatan pembuka, kegiatan inti dan kegiatan penutup. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan metode storytelling dalam penyampaian cerita dalam kitab Purāṇa untuk menumbuhkan militansi beragama umat Hindu.

Abstract

The mabuug-buugan tradition is a bhuta yadnya ceremony which is held in the Mangrove forest in Pakraman Kedonganan Village, South Kuta District, Badung Regency. This tradition is full of educational values ​​and plays a role in the process of social and cultural interaction among the community. In this tradition, based on devotional service carried out with lascayra, it will give positive power. Positive power will give a direction that is aimed at divine values, so that it leads to the glory of God. By pitting positive forces, which in a positive sense is not winning a victory. However, fighting for a decent life and always walking on the path of truth (dharma) and maintaining the natural state (Tri Hita Karana) of the mangrove forest of Pakraman Kedonganan Village. The dharma victory will reflect the joy and excitement of the community to welcome the new year. As for the meaning contained in the mabuug-buugan tradition; religious meaning, social meaning of society, meaning of education, and meaning of natural harmony.

Abstract

Ritual is a matter relating to ritual in its full sense, it is a series of process activities carried out by someone who has a symbolic purpose in a certain series of events. This ritual can be used as a tradition in certain groups. The ritual can be done once or twice a week or whenever. The meaning of Bokas is often also pronounced in full as 'bokas ego', which is a crowd ceremony or large-scale party, as an expression of joy, whether held individually, or in cooperation in family groups, or in collaboration with other residents.

Abstract

Maintaining good relationships in all elements in life requires character education. Character education will lead to a quality generation. Establishing a relationship cannot be separated from Tri Hita Karana. A good and harmonious relationship between Parhyangan (God Almighty), Pawongan (fellow humans) and Palemahan (the surrounding environment). The younger generation must master innovative character and skills in communicating, adapting, possessing independent, social, cultural skills and understanding leadership within themselves. This character emphasizes good and bad behavior towards establishing relationships with these three components (Tri Hita Karana). So on this occasion the researchers put more emphasis on (1) Character Education, (2) Quality Young Generation and (3) Character based on Tri Hita Karana.

Abstract

Hinduism is one of the religions found in Indonesia which has a wealth of cultural customs which are the hallmark of Hinduism itself. Facing an increasingly sophisticated era, with technological developments that are increasingly messaging, more or less affect the lifestyle of mankind on this earth. Thus, as people who hold fast to customs and religion, they must be ready to face the era of globalization so that they always exist and are not lost in the progress of the times. Likewise, the Pakanan Sahur Ceremony, which is carried out by the Hindu Kaharingan community, is the implementation of the Dewa Yadnya ceremony which aims to maintain the balance and harmony of the universe with its people in this world. In the implementation of the Pakanan Sahur Ceremony, the Hindu Kaharingan people offer offerings to the sacred spirits of their ancestors who always provide protection and welfare for their people.

Abstract

This study aimed at finding out the perception of students in tourism program towards Twitter as vocabulary learning media. Twitter has become one of the learning media in this 4.0 era. It is undeniable that Twitter existence becomes one of the social media that students choose to use when they are learning english subject material. This situation can be used by the teacher to have a specific learning technique when teaching the students about vocabulary via social media especially Twitter. The teachnique used in this study was survey in which all students become the sample of this study considering that all the students have access to Twitter. Abstract

Kalimantan Selatan menyimpan permata untuk dikagumi. Kalimantan Selatan juga dikenal sebagai Suku Dayak Meratus yang sangat menjunjung tinggi tradisi leluhur salah satunya Suku Dayak Kaharingan, Bentuk adat atau upacara adat pada suku Dayak Hindu Kaharingan tidak sama dengan pada agama Hindu di Jawa atau Bali. Hal ini dikarenakan Hindu Kaharingan memiliki identitas dan sejarah yang berbeda jika ditelaah dari adat, tradisi dan budaya. Salah satu bentuk pengembangan wisata budaya adalah Upacara Bamula di Desa Ajung, upacara ini bertujuan sebagai ucapan terima kasih kepada Bahatara Sri yang telah memberikan limpahan dalam bertani. Selain fungsi sakralnya, upacara ini juga sangat menarik untuk dikunjungi wisatawan lokal karena memiliki dua fakta yang bertolak belakang, yaitu kegiatan ritual sakral dan minimnya komunikasi antar generasi. Berdasarkan latar belakang masalah diatas maka peneliti merumuskan 3 masalah yaitu (1) Bagaimana Prosesi Upacara Bamula? (2) Bagaimana Bentuk Upacara Bamula ?(3) Bagaimana Dampak dari Upacara Bamula ?. Permasalahan di atas dikaji dengan beberapa teori. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori religi, komodifikasi dan dampak pariwisata. Selain itu, beberapa metode yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data yaitu metode observasi, wawancara dan studi pustaka dan diuraikan dengan metode deskriptif, sehingga diperoleh kesimpulan yang komprehensif. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) pelaksanaan Upacara Bamula yang, a) tempat upacara disebut Balai, b) sasaji upacara terdiri dari kemenyan, nasi hanyar (baru), ayam bakar, lamang, ketupat, cucur, gayam, pais, nasi lamak, telur ayam, suling, sumur habang, sumur hijau, sumur kuning, pisaat, buah-buahan, dan tumbuhan, c) Pemimpin dalam pelaksanaan upacara disebut Balian. Rangkaian pelaksanaan Upacara Bamula terdiri dari musyawarah, mangayu, membeli makanan, membuat sesaji, acara inti, dan penutupan. Bentuk Upacara Bamula sebagai paket wisata budaya di Desa Ajung terdiri dari a) Proses Produksi b) Proses Distribusi c) Proses Konsumsi. (3) Dampak Upacara Bamula terdiri dari a) Dampak ekonomi b) Dampak sosial budaya c) Dampak lingkungan Kata kunci: Upacara Bamula, Daya Tarik Wisata, Budaya

Abstract

The learning system during the Covid-19 pandemic experienced many changes in the implementation of learning which became a problem in the world of education in schools, including high schools. The issue of education during the Covid-19 pandemic has become the focus of various studies. However, the system for implementing learning, especially Hindu religious education in high schools in Kapuas district, is not yet available. Thus, researchers are interested in studying the learning implementation system at SMA Negeri Kuala Kapuas with the focus on problems (1) How is the readiness to implement the implementation system of Hindu religious education during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMAN Kuala Kapuas, Kapuas Regency, (2) How is the system applied in implementation of Hindu religious education learning during the Covid-19 period at SMAN Kuala Kapuas, Kapuas Regency, and (3) What were the obstacles and solutions faced in the implementation of Hindu religious education learning systems during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMAN Kuala Kapuas, Kapuas Regency. The theory used to study and describe the formulation of the research problem is the theory of behaviorism, systems theory, and cognitive theory. The research method used is a qualitative research method. Data obtained from observations, in-depth interviews, and document studies. The results of the analysis of the learning implementation system show the following points. (1) readiness for the implementation of online learning, namely the readiness of teachers, students and supporting infrastructure for online learning, while limited PTM is the readiness of schedules and health protocols. (2) The system applied in the implementation of learning is full online learning, learning with assignments, and limited PTM with the application of health protocols. (3) The obstacles faced by schools are the knowledge of teachers and students regarding online learning is still diverse, lessons are difficult for students to understand in online learning, and the availability of facilities and infrastructure is not adequate. The solutions offered in the learning implementation system during the pandemic are increasing the creativity of teachers and students and implementing limited face-to-face learning to meet the needs of students in learning.

Abstract

The Aruh Ganal Bawanang ritual is a ritual of the Meratus Hindu Community in Piani District, Tapin Regency who strongly believes in the Ancestor which is held once a year, namely in July before the full moon, the Meratus community who strongly believes in their ancestors carry out the Aruh Ganal Bawanang ritual. The Aruh Ganal Bawanang ritual, if it is associated with the teachings of the Panca Yadnya, the Aruh Ganal Bawanang ritual is classified as the ritual of Dewa Yadnya, Pitra Yadnya and Bhuta Yadnya. The Aruh Ganal Bawanang ritual carried out by the Meratus Hindu community in Piani District who still adheres to the local Hindu religion. The implementation of the Aruh Ganal Bawanang Ritual by the Meratus Hindu community in the Piani Sub-district is still understood in the form of entrenched traditions and habits that have been passed down from generation to generation, without understanding and knowing the values ​​of Hindu education contained in the Aruh Ganal Bawanang ritual. Therefore, the research focuses more on the Study of Educational Values ​​in the Aruh Ganal Bawanang ritual in the Meratus Hindu community with the formulation of the problem: 1) How is the implementation of the Aruh Ganal Bawanang Ritual in Piani District, Tapin Regency. 2) What are the Ritual values ​​in Aruh Ganal Bawanang. 3) What are the implications of Aruh Ganal Bawanang Ritual Education in Piani District, Tapin Regency. The researcher aims to find out more about the Ritual of Aruh Ganal Bawanang. The theory used to determine the Ritual of Aruh Ganal Bawanang are: Symbol theory, Structural Functional theory and exchange theory. The methods used in this research are: descriptive method, qualitative analysis method, interview method, observation and documentation method. Based on the results of the study as follows: The Aruh Ganal Bawanang ritual, which starts with: 1) The Manabas Starting Ritual, 2) the Batabang Ritual 3.) the Manyalukut Ritual, 4) the Mamanduk and Mahayip Ritual, 5) the Bamata Umang Ritual, 6) the Mananam Banih Ritual, 7 ) Ritual of Merabon Banih Mandara, 8) Ritual of Ayahlas Banih, 9) Ritual of Manyampuk Banih Mawai (Rice flower begins to bear fruit), 10) Ritual of Mangatam, 11) Ritual of Aruh Ganal Bawanang, 12) Ritual of Babuat or Baancak Banih Kalulung. In Aruh Ganal Bawanang there are (1) religious education values, (2) social and cultural values, (3) ethical values, (4) religious tolerance values and (5) aesthetic values, while the educational implications are: (1) religious implications, (2) Cultural Implications, (3) Social Implications, and (4) Natural Resources Implications.
